Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a weeding and rice planting method, a weeding tool, and a rice transplanter. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, techniques such as those shown in Patent Documents 1 and 2 are known. <Patent Document 1> Patent No. 4955030 Patent Document 1 states: The objective of the present invention is to "provide a method for weeding and suppressing weeds in paddy fields or fields that can simply, easily and efficiently inhibit the growth of weeds and kill them" (paragraph 0010 of the same document). "Plowing is carried out about one month earlier than usual, and after plowing, the soil surface is stirred or pressed down to bury germinated weeds in the soil several times at intervals of 7 to 14 days before planting or direct sowing of seeds, causing the germinated weed seeds to wither and die" (paragraph 0011 of the same document). or, "Prior to sowing seeds or planting seedlings, about one month earlier than the usual sowing or planting season, the soil surface is stirred or pressed down to bury germinated weeds in the soil several times at intervals of 7 to 14 days, to kill the germinated weed seeds." (paragraph 0012 of the same document) Methods for weeding and suppression in paddy fields and fields are described.
[0003] However, this method aims to bury germinated weeds in the soil by stirring or pressing the soil surface, and therefore cannot efficiently bury germinated weeds in the soil. Also, this method does not take into consideration the area in which the seedlings are to be planted.
[0004] <Patent Document 2> JP 2015-100325 A In Patent Document 2, The objective of the present invention is to provide a paddy field weeder and a weeding method using the paddy field weeder that can reduce the workload while improving the weeding effect. "The machine has a body 10 supported by wheels 1, a weeding plate 20 with a protrusion formed on the underside for cutting roots, and a lifting means 30 attached to the body 10 for raising and lowering the weeding plate 20 up and down. When the machine is moving, the lifting means 30 raises and lowers the weeding plate 20 to intermittently press against the soil surface, cutting weeds by the roots and burying them in the soil. The lifting means 30 lowers the weeding plate 20 diagonally backward relative to the traveling direction of the body 10. The backward movement distance of the weeding plate 20 per unit time is made longer than the traveling distance of the machine 10 per unit time." Weeder for paddy fields and weeding method using the weeder for paddy fields is stated in the literature summary.
[0005] However, this technique requires a mechanism for intermittently raising and lowering the weeding plate 20, which makes the structure complicated. Also, this technique does not take into consideration the area in which the seedlings are to be planted. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0006] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 4955030 [Patent Document 2] JP 2015-100325 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0007] The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a weeding and rice planting method that can efficiently remove weeds in a rice field without using herbicides and can also form areas suitable for planting seedlings for rice planting, and also to provide a weeding tool and a rice transplanter suitable for carrying out this method. [Means for solving the problem]
[0008] In order to solve the above problems, the weeding and rice planting method of the present invention is characterized by comprising the following steps. (1) After weeds begin to grow in the clay layer of a rice field, the amount of water in the field is adjusted to expose the clay layer. (2) A process of scraping the surface layer of the clay layer in a linearly extending seedling planting area in the rice field where seedlings are to be planted, turning the scraped surface layer upside down, and placing it on the surface layer of the clay layer in a linearly extending non-seedling planting area adjacent to the seedling planting area. (3) Planting seedlings in the seedling planting area
[0009] As a result of the above-mentioned configuration, this weeding and rice planting method can provide the following effects. By the step (1), After weeds begin to grow in the clay layer of the rice paddy, the amount of water in the rice paddy is adjusted and the clay layer of the rice paddy becomes exposed, making it easier to scrape off and turn over the surface of the clay layer in the next step (2). By the step (2), The surface portion of the clay layer in the linear seedling planting area in the rice field where seedlings are to be planted is scraped off, and the scraped surface portion is turned upside down and placed over the surface portion of the clay layer in the linear non-seedling planting area adjacent to the seedling planting area. As a result, when there are weeds beginning to grow on the surface of the clay layer in the seedling planting area, they are turned upside down and placed over the surface of the clay layer in the non-seedling planting area, so that they are buried under the clay layer. On the other hand, if there are weeds beginning to grow on the surface of the clay layer in the non-seedling planting area, they will be covered by the surface of the clay layer that has been scraped and inverted as described above, and will also be buried in the clay layer. In other words, weeds that have begun to grow on the surface of the clay layer in the seedling planting area, as well as weeds that have begun to grow on the surface of the clay layer in the non-seedling planting area, are covered above and below by the surface of the clay layer and become buried in the clay layer, making it possible to remove the weeds efficiently. By the step (3), Seedlings are planted in the seedling planting area. At this time, the seedling planting area has been cleared of weeds that have begun to sprout in the above step (2), and the surface has been scraped off, making it possible to smooth the surface to a certain extent, so that rice planting can be carried out smoothly.
[0010] As described above, according to this weeding and rice planting method, it is possible to efficiently remove weeds in rice fields without using herbicides, and also to form areas suitable for planting seedlings for rice planting.
[0011] In order to solve the above problems, the weeding tool of the present invention comprises: In a rice field where the amount of water is adjusted and the clay layer is exposed, an entry section enters a surface layer of the clay layer in a linearly extending seedling planting area where seedlings should be planted, and cuts the surface layer in a linear shape; An inverted discharge section that is connected to the entrance section and turns over the surface layer scraped by the entrance section and discharges it so that it covers the surface layer of the clay layer in the non-seedling planting area that extends linearly adjacent to the seedling planting area; The present invention is characterized in that it is provided with:
[0012] As a result of the above-mentioned configuration, the weeding tool has the following effects: In a rice field where the amount of water has been adjusted and the clay layer has been exposed, when the weeding tool is moved so that the entry part is aligned over the linear seedling planting area where seedlings are to be planted and the entry part enters the surface part of the clay layer, the entry part scrapes the surface part of the clay layer in a line, and this scraped surface part is turned upside down by the inverting discharge part connected to the entry part and is placed over the surface part of the clay layer in the non-seedling planting area that extends in a line adjacent to the seedling planting area. Therefore, as described above, both weeds that have begun to grow on the surface of the clay layer in the seedling planting area and weeds that have begun to grow on the surface of the clay layer in the non-seedling planting area are covered above and below by the surface of the clay layer and become buried in the clay layer, making it possible to remove the weeds efficiently. In addition, the seedling planting area has been cleared of weeds that have begun to grow by the entry section, and the surface layer has been scraped off, making it somewhat smooth, so rice planting can be carried out smoothly.
[0013] As described above, this weeding tool can efficiently remove weeds in rice fields without using herbicides, and can also create areas suitable for planting seedlings for rice planting.
[0014] In order to solve the above problems, the rice transplanter of the present invention is characterized by being equipped with the above-mentioned weeding tool. With this rice transplanter, it is possible to efficiently remove weeds by running the rice transplanter so that the entry part of the weeding tool equipped on the rice transplanter is aligned along the linear seedling planting area, and it is also possible to perform rice planting using the functions equipped on the rice transplanter.
[0015] In order to solve the above problems, the rice transplanter of the present invention comprises: A rice transplanter equipped with the above weeding tool, a float capable of leveling the seedling planting surface, and a seedling planting device for planting seedlings, The weeding tool is provided behind the float and in front of the seedling planting device in the direction of travel of the rice transplanter.
[0016] As a result of the above configuration, the rice transplanter has the following advantages: By driving the rice transplanter so that the entry part of the weeding tool equipped on the rice transplanter is aligned along the linear seedling planting area, it becomes possible to efficiently remove weeds, and rice planting can be performed using the functions equipped on the rice transplanter. A float is installed in front of the weeder, and after the float has leveled the surface for planting seedlings, the weeder's entry part scrapes the surface of the clay layer, so the thickness of the scraped surface layer is made uniform to a certain extent, resulting in smooth weeding. In addition, since a seedling planting device is provided behind the weeding tool, seedlings can be planted in the seedling planting area that has been weeded and smoothed, so that good rice planting can be carried out at the same time as weeding.
[0017] In order to solve the above problems, the rice transplanter of the present invention comprises: A rice transplanter equipped with the above weeding tool and wheels, The present invention is characterized in that the inverted discharge part of the weed cutter is positioned above the furrow through which the wheels have passed, in relation to the direction of travel of the rice transplanter. With this rice transplanter, when there are weeds beginning to grow on the surface of the clay layer in the non-seedling planting area where the wheels pass, the weeds are trampled by the wheels and then covered with the surface of the clay layer that has been scraped and inverted as described above, thereby improving the weed-killing effect. [0019] Hereinafter, an embodiment of a weeding and rice planting method, a weeding tool, and a rice planter according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In each drawing, the same or corresponding parts are denoted by the same reference numerals.
[0020] The weeding and rice planting method of this embodiment is characterized by including the following steps.
[0021] (1) As shown in Figures 1(a) and (b), after weeds Z begin to grow in the clay layer (cultivated soil layer) T1 of rice field T, the process of adjusting the amount of water in rice field T to expose the clay layer T1 of rice field T. In the figure, T2 is the subsoil located below the clay layer (cultivated soil layer) T1. Methods for adjusting the amount of water in the rice field T include draining the water from the rice field, adjusting the amount of water put into the rice field, etc. It is important to expose the clay layer T1 of the rice field T so that the next process can be carried out. The time when weeds Z begin to grow in the clay layer T1 of rice field T is approximately 7 to 10 days after the final plowing, but this may vary slightly depending on the local climate, weather, and the weather before and after.
[0022] (2) As shown in Figures 2(a) and (b), a process of scraping off the surface portion T11 of the clay layer T1 in the linear seedling planting area TN in the rice field T where seedlings N (see Figure 3) are to be planted, and inverting the tops T11A and T11B of the scraped off surface portion T11 (see arrow R) as shown in Figures 2(b) and (c), and placing it over the surface portion NT11 of the clay layer T1 in the linear non-seedling planting area NTN adjacent to the seedling planting area TN.
[0023] (3) A step of planting seedlings N in a seedling planting area TN as shown in FIG. 3(a)(b).
[0024] In Figures 2 and 3, in order to avoid complicating the figures, the inversion state of the clay layer T1 and the seedling planting state in the leftmost seedling planting area TN and non-seedling planting area NTN are shown, but these operations are performed in all seedling planting areas TN and non-seedling planting areas NTN.
[0025] As a result of the above-mentioned configuration, this weeding and rice planting method can provide the following effects.
[0026] (See FIG. 1): By step (1), After weeds Z begin to grow in the clay layer T1 of the rice field T, the amount of water in the rice field T is adjusted and the clay layer T1 of the rice field T is exposed, making it easier to scrape and turn over the surface portion T11 of the clay layer T1 in the next process (2).
[0027] (See FIG. 2): By step (2), In a rice field T, a surface portion T11 of a clay layer T1 in a linear seedling planting area TN where seedlings N are to be planted is scraped off, and the scraped surface portion T11 is turned upside down T11A, T11B and placed on a surface portion NT11 of a clay layer T1 in a linear non-seedling planting area NTN adjacent to the seedling planting area TN.
[0028] As a result, when there is a weed Z1 beginning to grow on the surface portion T11 of the clay layer T1 in the seedling planting area TN, the weed Z1 is turned upside down and placed on top of the surface portion T11 of the clay layer T1 in the non-seedling planting area NTN, so that the weed Z1 is buried by the clay layer T1 (surface portion T11) (Figure 2(c)).
[0029] On the other hand, when there are weeds Z2 beginning to grow on the surface portion T11 of the clay layer T1 in the non-seedling planting area NTN, the weeds Z2 will be covered by the surface portion T11 of the clay layer T1 that has been scraped and inverted as described above, and will also be buried by the clay layer T1 (surface portion T11) (Figure 2(c)).
[0030] In other words, both the weeds Z1 beginning to grow in the surface portion T11 of the clay layer T1 in the seedling planting area TN and the weeds Z2 beginning to grow in the surface portion NT11 of the clay layer T1 in the non-seedling planting area NTN are covered above and below by the surface portion T11 of the clay layer T1 and are buried in the clay layer T1, making it possible to efficiently remove the weeds without using herbicides.
[0031] (See FIG. 3): By step (3), Seedlings N are planted in the seedling planting area TN. At this time, the seedling planting area TN has been cleared of weeds Z (Z1, Z2) that have begun to sprout in the above-mentioned step (2), and the surface portion T11 has been scraped off, making it possible to smooth the surface to a certain extent, so that rice planting can be carried out smoothly. After that, water is added to the rice field as needed.
[0032] As described above, according to this weeding and rice planting method, it is possible to efficiently remove weeds Z in rice field T without using herbicides, and also to form an area suitable for planting seedlings N for rice planting.
[0033] The weeding tool 10 of the embodiment shown in Figs. 4 and 5 has the following features: In a rice field T in which the amount of water is adjusted and the clay layer T1 is exposed, an entry section 11 enters a surface layer T11 of the clay layer T1 in a linearly extending seedling planting area TN in which seedlings N should be planted, and linearly cuts the surface layer T11; An inverted discharge section 12 is connected to the entrance section 11 and turns over the surface layer T11 scraped by the entrance section 11, and discharges it so that it covers the surface layer NT11 of the clay layer T1 in the non-seedling planting area NTN that extends linearly adjacent to the seedling planting area TN; It is equipped with:
[0034] As a result of the above-mentioned configuration, the weeding tool 10 can provide the following effects.
[0035] As shown in Figure 5, in a rice field T in which the amount of water has been adjusted and the clay layer T1 has been exposed, when the weeder 10 is moved so that the entry part 11 is aligned over the linear seedling planting area TN where seedlings N are to be planted and the entry part 11 enters the surface part T11 of the clay layer T1 (when moved upward (in the direction of arrow F) in Figure 5(a)), the entry part 11 scrapes the surface part T11 of the clay layer T1 into a linear shape with a roughly rectangular cross-section when viewed from the direction of travel, and this scraped surface part T11 is turned upside down by the inverting discharge part 12 connected to the entry part 11, as shown in Figure 5(b), and is placed over the surface part NT11 of the clay layer T1 in the non-seedling planting area NTN that extends linearly adjacent to the seedling planting area TN.
[0036] Therefore, as described above, both the weeds Z1 beginning to grow in the surface portion T11 of the clay layer T1 in the seedling planting area TN and the weeds Z2 beginning to grow in the surface portion NT11 of the clay layer T1 in the non-seedling planting area NTN are covered above and below by the surface portion T11 (NT11) of the clay layer T1 and are buried in the clay layer T1, making it possible to efficiently remove weeds without using herbicides.
[0037] In addition, the seedling planting area TN is in a state where the weeds Z1 that have begun to sprout have been removed by the entry portion 11 (see TNC in Figure 5(a)), and by scraping off the surface portion T11, it can be smoothed to a certain extent, resulting in a state in which rice planting can be carried out smoothly (see Figure 3).
[0038] As described above, this weeding tool 10 can efficiently remove weeds Z in a rice field T without using herbicides, and can also form an area TNC suitable for planting seedlings N.
[0039] A weeder 10' according to an embodiment shown in Figs. 6 and 7 is an integrated weeder 10 described above, with a pair of left and right weeders 10 arranged symmetrically.
[0040] As shown in Figure 7, with such a weeding tool 10', the surface portion T11 of the clay layer T1 in the seedling planting area TN can be inverted to the left and right, and the surface portion NT11 of the clay layer T1 in the left and right non-seedling planting areas NTN can be covered with the weeding tool to form an area TNC suitable for planting seedlings N.
[0041] The rice transplanter 20 of the embodiment shown in FIG. 8 is equipped with the above-mentioned weeding tool 10'. As shown in Fig. 9, this rice transplanter 20 allows efficient weeding by running the rice transplanter 20 so that the entry part 11 of the weeding tool 10' provided on the rice transplanter 20 is aligned along the linear seedling planting area TN, and at the same time, rice planting can be performed using the functions provided on the rice transplanter 20. In the figure, 23 is a planting claw of the seedling planting device 22.
[0042] This rice transplanter 20 is The weeding tool 10' includes a float 21 capable of leveling the seedling planting surface (TN), and a seedling planting device 22 for planting seedlings N. A weeder 10' is provided behind the float 21 and in front of the seedling planting device 22 with respect to the traveling direction (direction of arrow F) of the rice transplanter 20.
[0043] As a result of the above-mentioned configuration, the rice transplanter 20 can achieve the following further advantageous effects.
[0044] As shown in Figures 8 and 9, a float 21 is provided in front of the weeder 10', and after the seedling planting surface (TN) is leveled by this float 21, the entry part 11 of the weeder 10' scrapes the surface part T11 of the clay layer T1 as shown in Figure 7, so that the thickness D (see Figures 4(d) and 11) of the scraped surface part T11 is made uniform to a certain extent. Therefore, a smooth weeding action is obtained. The thickness D of the surface layer T11 to be removed can be adjusted as appropriate. Usually, it is set to 2 cm or more and 5 cm or less.
[0045] In addition, according to this rice transplanter 20, a seedling planting device 22 is provided behind the weeding tool 10', so that seedlings N can be planted in the weeded and smoothed seedling planting area TN, thereby enabling good rice planting to be performed at the same time as weeding.
[0046] This rice transplanter 20 is equipped with the above-mentioned weeding tool 10' and wheels 24. With respect to the traveling direction F of the rice transplanter 20, the inverted discharge part 12 of the weeder 10' is disposed above the furrow TG through which the wheels 24 have passed.
[0047] According to this rice transplanter 20, when there are weeds Z beginning to grow on the surface portion T11 of the clay layer T1 in the non-seedling planting area NTN through which the wheels 24 pass, after the weeds Z are stepped on by the wheels 24, they are further covered with the surface portion T11 of the clay layer T1 that has been scraped and inverted as described above, thereby improving the weed-killing effect.
[0048] This will be explained in more detail below.
[0049] The weeding tool may have any structure as long as it has a structure that allows the surface layer T11 to be scraped off with the entry part 11 and the surface layer T11 to be turned upside down and discharged. For example, the opening shapes of the entry part 11 (Fig. (c)) and the inverted discharge part 12 (Fig. (d)) of the weeder 10 (10') in the embodiment shown in Fig. 4 and Fig. 6 are rectangular when viewed from the entry direction, but this is not limited to this. For example, the bottom plate may be corrugated (the bottom plate may be galvanized iron), etc. In addition, the inverting and discharging section 12 in this embodiment has a guide section 12g for discharging the surface layer T11, which has entered from the entrance section 11 and been turned upside down, in a substantially straight line toward the rear in the traveling direction, but this guide section 12g does not have to be provided. However, by providing the guide section 12g, the surface layer T11, which has been turned upside down, can be discharged in a substantially straight line toward the rear in the traveling direction, so it is desirable to provide the guide section 12g. The weeding tool 10 may be constructed from any suitable material, for example metal. The weeder 10 in this embodiment is a gutter-shaped metal plate with both ends (front and rear ends) twisted 180 degrees relative to one another, and as shown in Fig. 4(d), the inlet 11b and outlet 12b are shifted horizontally by the width W of the mouth and vertically by the height H of the mouth. This shape can also be constructed without using metal plates. The angle at which both ends (front and rear ends) are twisted relative to each other can be appropriately set within a range of 90 to 180 degrees, preferably within a range of 125 to 145 degrees, depending on the properties of the rice field (properties of the soil / surface layer T11) that is the subject of this invention. If the angle at which both ends (front and rear ends) are twisted relative to each other is less than 90 degrees, it becomes difficult to turn over the scraped surface layer T11. On the other hand, if it exceeds 180 degrees, the discharge direction of the turned and discharged surface layer T11 tends to deviate from the non-seedling planting area NTN. Therefore, it is preferable that the angle at which both ends (front and rear ends) are twisted relative to each other is within a range of 90 to 180 degrees depending on the properties of the rice field (properties of the soil / surface layer T11). Furthermore, although it depends on the properties of the rice field (properties of the soil / surface layer T11), if the angle by which both ends (front and rear ends) are twisted relative to each other is set to approximately 135 degrees, the surface layer T11 will turn over or fall freely due to its own weight in the inversion and discharge section 12, resulting in good inversion and discharge action, so it is more desirable to set the angle in the range of 125 to 145 degrees depending on the properties of the rice field (properties of the soil / surface layer T11). By shifting the entrance 11b and the exit 12b horizontally by the width W of the opening and vertically by the height H of the opening, it is possible to invert the surface portion T11 of the clay layer T1 in the seedling planting area TN and to properly cover the surface portion NT11 of the clay layer T1 in the non-seedling planting area NTN.
[0050] The weeding tool 10 (10') can be attached to a suitable location on the rice transplanter 20. As the rice transplanter, any suitable known rice transplanter can be used. For example, in a riding rice transplanter as shown in FIG. 8, the mounting bracket 25b can be used to mount the seedling carrier 25 to a support frame 25f.
[0051] With this configuration, the weeder 10 (10') can be lifted together with the seedling carrier 25 and other parts that are lifted when the rice transplanter is turned over, eliminating the need to provide a separate lift mechanism for the weeder.
[0052] In addition, for example, in a hand-pushed rice transplanter 20 as shown in FIG. 10, it can be attached to a support frame (not shown) of the platform 25 or the frame or casing 22c of the seedling planting device 22 using a mounting bracket or the like. With this configuration, the weeder 10 (10') can be lifted together with the seedling carrier 25 and other parts that are lifted when the rice transplanter is turned over, eliminating the need to provide a separate lift mechanism for the weeder. In addition, if the hand-pushed rice transplanter 20 has one wheel, it is equipped with only the central wheel 24s, and if it has three wheels, it is equipped with wheels 24s on both sides in addition to the central wheel 24s.
[0053] For example, as shown mainly in Fig. 11, the attachment mechanism 30 of the weeder 10' (10) to the rice transplanter can be provided with a height adjustment mechanism or position adjustment mechanism 31, for example, consisting of a screw mechanism (31). If two height adjustment mechanisms or position adjustment mechanisms 31 are provided, one at the front and one at the back, as shown in Fig. 11, the attachment height and attachment angle of the weeder 10' (10) can be adjusted.
[0054] Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the gist of the present invention. [Explanation of symbols]
