[Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2009-144392 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] Meanwhile, in the construction of a building whose exterior wall is made up of multiple panels arranged in a specific direction, there is a demand for an easier way to attach a ventilation fan to the exterior wall. On the other hand, in a conventional building with an exterior wall having the above-mentioned configuration, in order to attach a ventilation fan or its accessories to the exterior wall, work is required to adjust the size of the panel in the specific direction by cutting some of the panel, etc., which is a time-consuming task.
[0005] Therefore, the present invention has been made in consideration of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an exterior wall with a ventilation fan that can be more easily constructed as an exterior wall of a building. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] The above-mentioned problems are solved by the exterior wall with a ventilation fan of the present invention, which comprises an exterior wall that is installed on a building and is constructed by arranging multiple panel materials, each having a predetermined dimension in a predetermined direction, a frame body that is positioned within an opening space in the exterior wall from which some of the panel materials have been removed in the predetermined direction, and a ventilation fan unit fixed to the frame body. The exterior wall with a ventilation fan configured as described above can be constructed more easily since it does not require tasks such as adjusting the size of the panel in a specified direction.
[0007] In the exterior wall with a ventilation fan of the present invention, the frame may have a cylindrical portion disposed within the open space and an end plate portion adjacent to the indoor end of the cylindrical portion. In this case, the end plate portion may have a hole that is continuous with the inner space of the cylindrical portion. It is also preferable that the ventilation fan unit is fixed to the end plate portion with a part of the ventilation fan unit inserted into the inner space of the cylindrical portion through the hole. In this case, the installation space for the ventilation fan unit can be made more compact.
[0008] In the exterior wall with a ventilation fan of the present invention, the ventilation fan unit may have a ventilation fan body, a filter portion arranged on the outdoor side of the ventilation fan body, and a shutter portion arranged on the outdoor side of the filter portion. In this case, the ventilation fan unit may be fixed to the end plate portion on the indoor side with the shutter portion housed in the inner space of the cylindrical portion. In this case, since the shutter portion is housed within the cylindrical portion, the installation space for the ventilation fan unit can be made more compact.
[0009] In the outer wall with a ventilation fan of the present invention, it is more preferable that the length of the cylindrical portion in the predetermined direction is set in accordance with the above-mentioned predetermined dimension. If the size of the cylindrical portion of the frame for mounting the ventilation fan is predetermined according to the predetermined dimensions of the surface material, an exterior wall with a ventilation fan can be constructed even more easily.
[0010] The exterior wall with a ventilation fan of the present invention may further include an extension member that is provided on the indoor side of the facing material and extends in a direction intersecting the predetermined direction. In this case, the frame body is fixed to the extension member, and the extension member is preferably disposed in a position adjacent to the opening space in the predetermined direction. According to the above configuration, the frame body for mounting the ventilation fan can be properly supported, so that the ventilation fan unit can be easily and properly mounted on the exterior wall.
[0011] In the exterior wall with a ventilation fan of the present invention, it is preferable that the indoor side end of the extension member and the indoor side end of the frame body are at the same position in the thickness direction of the exterior wall. According to the above configuration, the aesthetic appearance of the exterior wall, particularly when the exterior wall is viewed from inside the building, can be improved.
[0012] Furthermore, it is more preferable that the outer wall with a ventilation fan of the present invention further comprises a sealing portion that closes the gap provided between the extension member and the frame body in a predetermined direction and is made of a filler that fills the gap. According to the above configuration, the aesthetic appearance of the exterior wall (the appearance of the exterior wall when viewed from inside the building) can be further improved.
[0013] In the exterior wall with a ventilation fan of the present invention, two adjacent panel members in a predetermined direction may be joined by a concave-convex fitting method. Effect of the Invention
[0014] According to the present invention, an exterior wall with a ventilation fan is provided that can be constructed more easily as an exterior wall of a building. [Brief description of the drawings]
[0015] [Figure 1] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an exterior wall with a ventilation fan according to one embodiment of the present invention, as viewed from the outdoor side. [Diagram 2] FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of an exterior wall with a ventilation fan according to one embodiment of the present invention, showing cross-section II of FIG. 1. [Diagram 3] FIG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0016] <<Configuration example of an exterior wall with a ventilation fan according to one embodiment of the present invention>> Hereinafter, a configuration example of an exterior wall with a ventilation fan according to one embodiment of the present invention (hereinafter, this embodiment) will be described with reference to the attached drawings. In the drawings, each component is illustrated somewhat simplified or schematic to make the explanation easier to understand, and the size (dimension) of each component and the interval between components shown in the drawings are different from the actual ones. In addition, in this specification, when describing the position, orientation, condition, etc. of each component (building material) and each piece of equipment, unless otherwise specified, the description will refer to the position, orientation, condition, etc. at the time of use, specifically, when the component is installed in a building. In addition, in this specification, "orthogonal," "vertical," "parallel," and "horizontal" include the range of error generally accepted in the technical field of the present invention, and also include states where the directions are shifted within a range of less than a few degrees (e.g., 2 to 3°) from strictly orthogonal, vertical, parallel, and horizontal.
[0017] In this embodiment, a warehouse for storing goods is taken as an example of a building, and an exterior wall with a ventilator provided in the warehouse is described. However, the exterior wall with a ventilator of the present invention can also be used in buildings other than warehouses, such as factories, buildings, houses, stores, and facilities.
[0018] The exterior wall with a ventilation fan of this embodiment (hereinafter referred to as the exterior wall with a ventilation fan 10) has the appearance shown in Figure 1, and as shown in Figure 2, comprises an exterior wall 12, an extension member 18, a frame body 20, a ventilation fan unit 30, and a sealing portion 40.
[0019] (outer wall) The exterior wall 12 is provided in a warehouse as a building, and constitutes the main body of the exterior wall 10 with a ventilation fan. The exterior wall 12 according to this embodiment is constructed by arranging a plurality of panel materials 14 in the vertical direction (one example of a predetermined direction). As can be seen from FIG. 1, the panel materials 14 are plate materials having a substantially rectangular planar shape, and are commercially available exterior wall materials. In other words, the panel materials 14 used in this embodiment have predetermined dimensions, specifically, predetermined height, width, and thickness dimensions. Here, the height of the panel materials 14 corresponds to the length in the vertical direction (predetermined direction). The width of the panel materials 14 corresponds to the length in the horizontal direction.
[0020] Furthermore, the heights of the multiple facing materials 14 arranged in the vertical direction are uniform. That is, in this embodiment, the multiple facing materials 14 constituting the exterior wall 12 of the warehouse all have the same height. The widths of the facing materials 14 may be the same or different among the multiple facing materials 14 constituting the exterior wall 12.
[0021] Furthermore, among the multiple panel materials 14 arranged in the vertical direction to form the exterior wall 12, two adjacent panel materials 14, one above the other, are joined by a concave-convex fitting method. The structure for achieving the concave-convex fitting is not particularly limited as long as it can suitably fit the two panel materials 14, one above and one below. Also, in each panel 14, the portion of the lower end of the panel 14 located furthest outdoors may protrude downward further than the other portions, and the outdoor surface of the upper end of the panel 14 may be offset toward the indoor side compared to the outdoor surface of the portion located below the upper end. With this configuration, when two panel materials 14 are fitted together vertically, the lower end of the upper panel 14 overlaps with the upper end of the lower panel 14 on the outdoor side, and the outdoor surfaces of the two panel materials 14 are positioned on the same plane. As a commercially available product that can be used as the face material 14 having the above-mentioned fitting structure, known face materials, such as Isoband (registered trademark), can be used.
[0022] In this embodiment, as shown in Fig. 2, the exterior wall 12 is provided with an opening space 16 for mounting the ventilation fan unit 30. The opening space 16 is a space where some of the face materials 14 are removed from the multiple face materials 14 arranged in the vertical direction, that is, a space where no face material 14 is provided, and in this embodiment, it is a space formed by the absence of one face material 14. In other words, the height of the opening space 16 (the opening size in the vertical direction) corresponds to the height of one face material 14. In addition, the shape of the opening space 16 when viewed from the front (for example, from the outdoor side), that is, the opening shape, is substantially rectangular. As described above, the height (vertical length) of the opening space 16 is ensured by the absence (non-installation) of one panel 14. On the other hand, the width (horizontal length) of the opening space 16 may be determined by changing the width of the panel 14 located to the side of the opening space 16, more specifically, by cutting the panel 14 so that the width has a predetermined length.
[0023] (extension member) As shown in Fig. 2, the extension member 18 is provided on the indoor side of the facing material 14, and is a steel material extending in a horizontal direction (corresponding to a direction intersecting a predetermined direction, specifically, a direction penetrating the paper surface in Fig. 2), and is constituted by, for example, a square pipe. A frame body 20 described later is fixed to this extension member 18, and more specifically, it is screwed to the outdoor surface of the square pipe constituting the extension member 18. In this embodiment, the extension member 18 is disposed at a position adjacent to the opening space 16 in the vertical direction, in other words, disposed so as not to enter within the range in which the opening space 16 is provided in the vertical direction.
[0024] In this embodiment, one extension member 18 is disposed directly above and one directly below the opening space 16, and a frame body 20 is fixed to each extension member 18. That is, the upper end of the frame body 20 is fixed to the extension member 18 located directly above the opening space 16, and the lower end of the frame body 20 is fixed to the extension member 18 located directly below the opening space 16.
[0025] Each extension member 18 itself is fixed to and supported by a support member (not shown) that extends in the vertical direction. Also, the extension member 18 may be disposed in a position adjacent to the face material 14 (more specifically, the face material 14 disposed directly above or directly below the opening space 16) in the thickness direction of the exterior wall 12, as shown in Fig. 2.
[0026] (Frame) The frame 20 is used to attach the ventilation fan unit 30 to the exterior wall 12, and more specifically, is a member that forms the base for attaching the ventilation fan unit 30. The frame 20 is made of a metal plate such as a steel plate or an aluminum plate, and has a tubular portion 22, an outdoor end plate portion 24, and an indoor end plate portion 26, as shown in Figures 2 and 3.
[0027] The cylindrical portion 22 is a part of the frame 20 that has a square cylindrical shape, and is fixed to the above-mentioned extension member 18 in a state in which it is disposed in the opening space 16 as shown in FIG. 2. There is no particular limitation on the method of fixing the cylindrical portion 22 to the extension member 18. For example, the cylindrical portion 22 may be provided with a flange-shaped piece 28 protruding from the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion 22, and the flange-shaped piece 28 may be abutted against the outdoor surface of the square pipe that constitutes the extension member 18 and screwed to fix the cylindrical portion 22 to the extension member 18. The flange-shaped piece 28 is formed of an L-shaped angle and provided around the entire outer edge of the cylindrical portion 22, and more specifically, is welded to the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion 22. It is also possible to directly join the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion 22 to the extension member 18 by welding or the like without providing the flange-shaped piece 28.
[0028] In this embodiment, the height of the tubular portion 22 (i.e., the length of the tubular portion 22 in a predetermined direction) is set according to the default height (default dimension) of the commercially available face material 14, and is slightly smaller than the default height. With this configuration, the tubular portion 22 is disposed within the opening space 16 in the vertical direction, and more specifically, is disposed within the opening space 16 with a slight gap provided between the two upper and lower face materials 14 that sandwich the opening space 16. 2, the outdoor end of the tubular portion 22 is located closer to the outdoor side than the two upper and lower facing materials 14 that sandwich the opening space 16 in the thickness direction of the exterior wall 12. Also, the indoor end of the tubular portion 22 is located closer to the indoor side than the two upper and lower facing materials 14 that sandwich the opening space 16 in the thickness direction of the exterior wall 12.
[0029] The outdoor end plate 24 is a rectangular plate adjacent to the outdoor end of the tubular portion 22 and joined to the outdoor end, and is the portion to which the weather cover 38 is fixed, as shown in Fig. 2. The outdoor end plate 24 has the same outer edge as the outer edge of the tubular portion 22, and is joined to the outdoor end of the tubular portion 22 with its outer edge coinciding with the outer edge of the tubular portion 22, more specifically, welded. A rectangular hole that is continuous with the inner space of the tubular portion 22 is formed in the center of the outdoor end plate 24, and the inside of the weather cover 38 and the inner space of the tubular portion 22 communicate with each other through this hole. It should be noted that a known device can be used as the weather cover 38. The shape of the weather cover 38 is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, a fan-shaped shape in side view as shown in Fig. 1, or a cylindrical or rectangular tube shape.
[0030] The indoor end plate 26 corresponds to an end plate, and is a rectangular plate adjacent to the indoor end of the cylindrical portion 22 and joined to the end, to which the ventilation fan unit 30 is fixed, as shown in FIG. 2. The indoor end plate 26 has the same outer edge as the outer edge of the cylindrical portion 22, and is joined to the indoor end of the cylindrical portion 22 with its outer edge coinciding with the outer edge of the cylindrical portion 22, specifically, by welding. In addition, a rectangular hole 26a that is continuous with the inner space of the cylindrical portion 22 is formed in the center of the indoor end plate 26, as shown in FIG. 3. By providing this hole 26a, the ventilation fan unit 30 is fixed to the indoor end plate 26 with a part of it (specifically, a shutter portion 36 described later) entering the inner space of the cylindrical portion 22 through the hole 26a, as shown in FIG. 2.
[0031] 2, in this embodiment, the indoor side end face of the indoor side end plate portion 26 forming the indoor side end of the frame body 20 is at the same position in the thickness direction of the exterior wall 12 as the indoor side end face of the square pipe forming the extension member 18. In other words, the frame body 20 is disposed in the opening space 16 so that the indoor side end face of the indoor side end plate portion 26 and the indoor side end face of the square pipe are positioned on the same plane.
[0032] (Ventilator unit) The ventilation fan unit 30 is a ventilation device that is attached to the exterior wall 12 by being fixed to the aforementioned cylindrical portion 22. In this embodiment, as shown in Fig. 2, the ventilation fan main body 32, the filter portion 34 arranged on the outdoor side of the ventilation fan main body 32, and the shutter portion 36 arranged on the outdoor side of the filter portion 34 are unitized to constitute one ventilation fan unit 30. In detail, the ventilation fan main body 32, the filter portion 34, and the shutter portion 36 each have a casing (housing), and adjacent housings are bolted together to form one unit.
[0033] The ventilation fan body 32 operates to take in outdoor air indoors, and in this embodiment is made of a pressurized ventilation fan. The filter unit 34 is equipped with a filter that removes dust and the like from the air drawn in by the ventilation fan body 32. The shutter unit 36 is an electric shutter that opens and closes the air passage (flow path) when outdoor air is taken into the ventilation fan body 32 via the weather cover 38.
[0034] Moreover, the planar size of the shutter section 36 including the casing (size when viewed from the outdoor side) is sufficiently smaller than the size of the hole 26a formed in the indoor side end plate section 26. Moreover, the thickness of the shutter section 36 (in the thickness direction of the exterior wall 12) is smaller than the thickness of the cylindrical section 22. On the other hand, the planar size of the filter section 34 including the casing is sufficiently larger than the above-mentioned hole 26a. With such a configuration, the ventilation fan unit 30 of this embodiment is fixed to the indoor side end of the indoor side end plate section 26 with the shutter section 36 housed in the inner space of the cylindrical section 22, as shown in FIG. 2. In other words, the ventilation fan unit 30 is fixed to the indoor side end plate section 26 on the indoor side relative to the indoor side end plate section 26.
[0035] More specifically, the shutter portion 36 enters the tubular portion 22 through the hole 26a, while the casing of the filter portion 34 abuts and is engaged with the peripheral portion of the hole 26a of the indoor side end plate portion 26. The casing of the filter portion 34 is fixed to the peripheral portion of the hole 26a with bolts or the like, whereby the ventilation fan unit 30 is fixed to the indoor side end face of the indoor side end plate portion 26. The means for fixing the ventilation fan unit 30 to the indoor side end plate portion 26 is not particularly limited, and a part of the ventilation fan unit 30 (for example, the casing of the filter portion 34) may be joined to the indoor side end plate portion 26 by welding, adhesive, etc.
[0036] As described above, in this embodiment, the ventilation fan unit 30 is attached to the exterior wall 12 via the frame body 20, and more specifically, the ventilation fan unit 30 and its associated equipment can be installed by utilizing the opening space 16 in the exterior wall 12 where one panel 14 has been removed.
[0037] (Sealing part) The sealing portion 40 is provided to ensure the aesthetic appearance of the exterior wall 10 with a ventilation fan, particularly when viewed from the indoor side, and closes the gap g provided in the vertical direction between the extension member 18 and the cylindrical portion 22 of the frame body 20, as shown in Fig. 2. This sealing portion 40 is made of a filler, specifically a caulking material, filled into the gap g, and strictly speaking is made of hardened caulking material.
[0038] In this embodiment, as described above, the indoor end face of the indoor end plate portion 26 is located at the same position in the thickness direction of the exterior wall 12 as the indoor end face of the square pipe forming the extension member 18. This allows the gap g to be filled appropriately with the caulking material, and as a result, the sealing portion 40 has a good effect of ensuring aesthetic appearance.
[0039] <<Effectiveness of one embodiment of the present invention>> The exterior wall 10 with a ventilation fan having the configuration described above can be constructed more easily. To be more specific, some of the conventional exterior walls with a ventilation fan are constructed by placing a frame body in an opening formed in the exterior wall and fixing a ventilation fan unit to the frame body, as in the above-mentioned embodiment (i.e., this embodiment) (hereinafter, the conventional product). In such a conventional product, when a frame body of an indefinite size is used, it is necessary to provide an opening with a height according to the size of the frame body, particularly the height of the frame body (length in the vertical direction). Therefore, in the conventional product, among the multiple face materials arranged in the vertical direction to form the exterior wall, the face material located at the location where the opening is to be formed needs to be processed to match the size of the frame body. In detail, the face material located adjacent to the opening needs to be cut in order to change its height from the predetermined dimension (the dimension at the time of being sold as a commercially available product).
[0040] In contrast, in the exterior wall 10 with a ventilation fan according to this embodiment, an opening space 16 is made in the exterior wall 12 by removing a portion of the surface material 14 (specifically, one piece of surface material 14) in the vertical direction, and a frame body 20 is placed in this opening space 16. The height dimension of the frame body 20 is set according to the height of the above-mentioned opening space 16. This eliminates the need to adjust the height of the surface material by cutting the surface material at the position where the opening is to be formed in order to provide an opening in the exterior wall according to the size of the frame body, as in the conventional product. As a result, the exterior wall 10 with a ventilation fan according to this embodiment can be constructed more easily than the conventional product.
[0041] Furthermore, in this embodiment, a part of the ventilation fan unit 30, more specifically, the shutter section 36, is attached to the exterior wall 12 while being housed within the cylindrical section 22 of the frame body 20. This makes it possible to reduce the installation space for the ventilation fan unit 30 compared to a case in which the shutter section 36 is disposed outside the cylindrical section 22, more specifically, on the indoor side of the cylindrical section 22, and thus to realize a more compact exterior wall 10 with a ventilation fan.
[0042] <<Other embodiments>> Although one embodiment of the exterior wall with a ventilation fan of the present invention has been described above, the above embodiment is merely an example for making the present invention easier to understand, and does not limit the present invention. In other words, the present invention can be modified and improved without departing from the spirit of the present invention. In addition, the present invention naturally includes its equivalents.
[0043] Regarding other embodiments of the present invention, for example, the ventilation fan unit 30 may be fixed to the frame body 20 with a part of the ventilation fan unit 30, specifically, the shutter portion 36 located furthest outdoors in the ventilation fan unit 30, disposed outside (indoor side) of the cylindrical portion 22 of the frame body 20. However, from the viewpoint of making the exterior wall 10 with a ventilation fan more compact, it is more advantageous to fix the ventilation fan unit 30 to the frame body 20 with the shutter portion 36 housed inside the cylindrical portion 22 as in the above embodiment.
[0044] In the above embodiment, the frame body 20 is fixed to the extension member 18 extending in the horizontal direction, but this is not limited thereto, and the frame body 20 may be fixed to a member extending in the vertical direction (so-called vertical furring strips). The frame body 20 may also be fixed to both the extension member 18 extending in the horizontal direction and a member extending in the vertical direction.
[0045] Also, in the above embodiment, an example has been described in which one ventilation fan unit 30 is attached to the exterior wall 12. However, this is not limited to this, and when multiple ventilation fan units 30 are attached to the exterior wall 12, for example, in a multi-story building, the ventilation fan units 30 may be attached to the exterior wall 12 for each floor. In this case, the exterior wall 12 is provided with the same number of opening spaces 16 as the number of ventilation fan units 30, in other words, opening spaces 16 with some of the surface material 14 removed in the vertical direction are provided at multiple locations in the vertical direction.
[0046] In the above embodiment, the indoor side end plate portion 26 (end plate portion) has the same outer edge as the outer edge of the cylindrical portion 22 and extends radially inward of the cylindrical portion 22. However, this is not limited to this, and the indoor side end plate portion 26 may extend (protrude) radially outward of the cylindrical portion 22 in a brim-like shape. Also, in the above embodiment, the ventilation fan unit 30 is joined and fixed to the indoor side end face of the indoor side end plate portion 26. However, the ventilation fan unit 30 only needs to be fixed to the indoor side end plate portion 26, and the specific fixing location is not particularly limited, and may be a location other than the above as long as the ventilation fan unit 30 can be suitably fixed.
[0047] In the above embodiment, an example has been described in which a ventilation fan is attached to an exterior wall 12 constructed by arranging a plurality of surface materials 14 in the vertical direction. However, the present invention is also applicable to a case in which a ventilation fan unit 30 is attached to an exterior wall constructed by arranging a plurality of surface materials 14 in the horizontal direction (the row direction and the inter-beam direction).
