Abstract

To provide a plant factory (1) that comprises: a cultivation tank (21) into which nutritious liquid is introduced and in which plants are cultivated; circulation paths (41 to 45) which introduce at least a part of nutritious liquid flown out from the cultivation tank into the cultivation tank; and a filter (33) which is disposed in the circulation paths and filters nutritious liquid, and can execute filter maintenance processing for reducing the number of microorganisms attached to the filter at an appropriate timing.SOLUTION: A plant factory has a control part (8) which determines the necessity of filter maintenance processing. The control part, when an acquisition period passes, executes correlation value acquisition processing of acquiring a microorganism correlation value correlated with the number of microorganisms accumulated in a filter in the acquisition period, and determines the necessity of the filter maintenance processing on the basis of a microorganism integrated value which is an integrated value of the microorganism correlation values.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
