Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a magnetic foreign matter capture device that is fixed to a case of a vehicle drive mechanism having a flow path through which oil is stored or flows, and that captures magnetic foreign matter contained in the oil. [Background technology]
[0002] For example, in the cases of vehicle drive mechanisms such as automatic transmissions in automobiles, and motors and reducers used in electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles, flow paths are formed in which oil is stored and circulated for purposes such as lubrication and cooling.
[0003] Such oil may contain magnetic foreign matter such as wear particles generated when gears mesh with each other. Since these magnetic foreign matter may affect various vehicle performances, they are often captured by a specific magnetic foreign matter capture device.
[0004] For example, Patent Document 1 listed below describes a vehicle drive device that includes a drive case having a bottom wall on which oil is stored, a reduction mechanism housed in the drive case, and a differential device that distributes the power of the reduction mechanism to left and right drive wheels.
[0005] A protruding wall portion having a dog-house frame shape with an open front side is provided on the bottom wall of the drive case, and an annular magnet is housed and held in the protruding wall portion. The magnet housed and held in the protruding wall portion attracts magnetic foreign matter from the oil inside the drive case. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0006] [Patent Document 1] JP 2020-186766 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0007] In the vehicle drive device of Patent Document 1 above, when installing a magnet, it is necessary to provide a frame-shaped protruding wall portion on the bottom wall of the drive case. However, because there are many parts, such as multiple shafts, inside the vehicle drive device, it can sometimes be difficult to provide the protruding wall portion in the desired location.
[0008] In this case, there is less freedom in where the magnet can be installed, and it may not be possible to install the magnet in a location where magnetic foreign matter is likely to be attracted, resulting in insufficient performance in capturing magnetic foreign matter.
[0009] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a magnetic foreign body capture device that improves the freedom of installation location of the magnetic foreign body capture device and enables the device to fully demonstrate its performance of capturing magnetic foreign bodies. [Means for solving the problem]
[0010] In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a magnetic foreign matter capture device that is fixed to a case of a vehicle drive mechanism having a flow path through which oil is stored or flows, for capturing magnetic foreign matter contained in the oil, wherein the entire magnetic foreign matter capture device is made of a resin magnet capable of capturing the magnetic foreign matter, and has a fixed portion that is clamped and fixed by a pair of abutment surfaces provided in the flow path, and the entire surface of the magnetic foreign matter capture device including the fixed portion forms a capture surface that captures the magnetic foreign matter. Effect of the Invention
[0011] In the present invention, the fixed portion of the magnetic foreign body capture device is clamped and fixed by a pair of abutment surfaces provided in the flow path, and the entire surface of the magnetic foreign body capture device including the fixed portion forms a capture surface for capturing magnetic foreign bodies. Therefore, the magnetic foreign body capture device can be installed by utilizing the pair of abutment surfaces in an existing flow path, which increases the freedom of location for installing the magnetic foreign body capture device and allows the magnetic foreign body capture performance to be fully demonstrated. [0013] (First embodiment of magnetic foreign body capture device) Hereinafter, a first embodiment of a magnetic foreign body capturing device according to the present invention will be described with reference to Figs.
[0014] As shown in Figure 3, this magnetic foreign matter capture device 10 (hereinafter simply referred to as "capture device 10") is fixed to a case of a vehicle drive mechanism having a flow path R through which oil is stored or flows, and is intended to capture magnetic foreign matter contained in the oil.
[0015] Examples of the case for a vehicle drive mechanism include cases for automatic transmissions of automobiles, and motors and reducers used in electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and the like.
[0016] In addition, the entire capture device 10 is made of a resin magnet capable of capturing magnetic foreign matter, and has a fixed portion 20 that is clamped and fixed by a pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6 (a pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6 arranged opposite each other and provided within the flow path R) provided within the flow path R, and the entire surface of the capture device 10 including the fixed portion 20 forms a capture surface 25 that captures magnetic foreign matter.
[0017] It can also be said that the fixing portion 20 is clamped and fixed by the inner surface of the case 1 that forms the flow path R and / or the opposing surface of the case attachment member 5 attached to the case 1 that faces the case 1.
[0018] As shown in Figure 3, in this embodiment, the fixing portion 20 is clamped and fixed between one abutment surface 2, which is the inner surface of the case 1, and the other abutment surface 6, which is the opposing surface of a case attachment member 5 attached to the case 1 and is positioned opposite the abutment surface 2 of the case 1.
[0019] Examples of the case attachment member 5 include a boss, a bracket, a rib, and the like that are disposed inside the case 1.
[0020] Resin magnets, also known as plastic magnets or plamag, are made by mixing magnetic powder into synthetic resin and injection molding the mixture into a predetermined shape, and have a predetermined magnetic force.
[0021] Furthermore, in this capturing tool 10, a portion that is sandwiched between the pair of contact surfaces 2, 6 and elastically deforms is formed integrally with the fixing part 20.
[0022] In addition, one surface 20a of the fixed portion 20 abuts against one of the abutment surfaces 2, and the other surface 20b of the fixed portion 20 opposite to the one surface 20a abuts against the other abutment surface 6, so that the fixed portion 20 is clamped between the pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6.
[0023] Furthermore, the fixing part 20 in this embodiment has a base part 30 that abuts against one of the pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6, the abutment surface 2, and an elastic piece 35 that extends from the base part 30 so as to abut against the other abutment surface 6 and elastically deforms when abutted against the case attachment member 5. The elastic piece 35 constitutes the "elastically deforming part" in the present invention.
[0024] More specifically, as shown in FIG. 1, the base portion 30 constituting the fixed portion 20 in this embodiment has a substantially rectangular block shape that has a constant width, extends a predetermined length, and is formed with a predetermined thickness.
[0025] The width direction of the fixing part 20 is defined as the "width direction X", the direction perpendicular to the width direction X is defined as the "length direction Y", and the direction perpendicular to the width direction X and the length direction Y is defined as the "thickness direction Z". One surface of the base part 30 in the thickness direction Z forms one surface 20a of the fixing part 20 described above, and is adapted to abut against the inner surface of the case 1.
[0026] Further, an elastically deformable elastic piece 35 extends from one end of the base portion 30 in the longitudinal direction Y. Figures 1 and 2 show the state of the elastic piece 35 before it is elastically deformed, and Figure 3 shows the state of the elastic piece 35 after it is elastically deformed.
[0027] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, this elastic piece 35 consists of a base end 36 extending a predetermined length from one end of the base portion 30 in the longitudinal direction Y toward the other end of the base portion 30 in the thickness direction Z, an extension portion 37 extending diagonally outward from the extension tip of the base end 36 toward the other end of the base portion 30 in the longitudinal direction Y and gradually moving away from the other surface 31 of the base portion 30 in the thickness direction Z, and a tip portion 38 bent from the extension tip of the extension portion 37 in the direction moving away from the other surface 31 of the base portion 30 to form an approximately L-shape with respect to the extension portion 37.
[0028] That is, the elastic piece 35 is a so-called cantilever-shaped plate-like piece in which a base end 36, which is a fixed end, is connected to one end of the base part 30 in the longitudinal direction Y, and a tip end 38, which is a free end, is disposed toward the other end side of the base part 30 in the longitudinal direction Y. In addition, the base part 30 and the elastic piece 35 are integrally formed from a resin magnet material, and as a whole form a single resin magnet and also constitute the fixed part 20.
[0029] The outer surface of the elastic piece 35, i.e., the surface opposite to the base portion 30, forms the other surface 20b of the fixed portion 20. The width of the elastic piece 35 is the same as that of the base portion 30.
[0030] As shown in FIG. 3, one surface 20a of the fixed portion 20, which is one surface of the base portion 30 in the thickness direction Z, is placed on and abuts against the inner surface of the case 1, and the other surface 20b of the fixed portion 20, which is the outer surface of the elastic piece 35, abuts against and is pressed against the case attachment member 5 (in particular, the outer surface of the most distal portion of the tip portion 38 of the elastic piece 35 is pressed). In other words, when the fixed portion 20 is clamped between the inner surface of the case 1 and the case attachment member 5, the elastic piece 35 is elastically deformed (flexibly deformed) via the base end portion 36 (as a fulcrum) in a direction in which the tip portion 38 and the extension portion 37 approach the other surface 31 of the base portion 30.
[0031] (Modification) The shapes, structures and layouts of the fixed portion, capturing surface, base portion, elastic piece, inner surface of the case, case attachment members and the like that constitute the magnetic foreign matter capturing device of the present invention are not limited to those described above.
[0032] In this embodiment, the fixed portion 20 is clamped between a pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6, which consist of the inner surface of the case 1 and the opposing surfaces of the case attachment member 5, but the fixed portion may also be clamped between the inner surfaces of the case or between case attachment members.
[0033] The base portion constituting the fixed portion may be, for example, a substantially trapezoidal block shape, a substantially disk shape, a substantially elliptical block shape, or the like.
[0034] Furthermore, the elastic piece constituting the fixed portion may be in the form of a frame having both ends fixed to the base portion and an intermediate portion that is elastically deformable, or in the form of a stem portion erected from the base portion or a tongue portion extending elastically from the wall portion.
[0035] (Action and effect) Next, the function and effect of the capture device 10 having the above configuration will be described.
[0036] As shown in Figure 3, by fixing this capture device 10 to the case of a vehicle drive mechanism, it is possible to adsorb and capture (or, alternatively, adsorb and remove) magnetic foreign matter contained in the oil flowing through the flow path R.
[0037] In this capturing device 10, the fixing portion 20 is clamped and fixed by a pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6 (here, the abutment surface 2 on the case 1 side and the abutment surface 6 on the case attachment member 5 side) provided within the flow path R, and the entire surface of the capturing device 10 including the fixing portion 20 forms a capturing surface 25 that captures magnetic foreign matter.
[0038] Therefore, the capture device 10 can be installed by utilizing a pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6 in the existing flow path R, in this case the abutment surface 2 of the existing case 1 and the abutment surface 6 of the case attachment member 5, thereby improving the freedom of installation location of the capture device 10 and allowing the capture device 10 to fully demonstrate its performance in capturing magnetic foreign matter.
[0039] In addition, since the entire surface of the capture device 10, including the fixed portion 20, forms a capture surface 25 for capturing magnetic foreign matter, a wide capture area for the magnetic foreign matter contained in the oil can be secured, thereby making it possible to expand the capture range of the magnetic foreign matter and reducing the amount of magnetic foreign matter that escapes capture.
[0040] Furthermore, in this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, a portion that is sandwiched between the pair of contact surfaces 2, 6 and thus elastically deforms (here, elastic piece 35) is integrally formed with the fixed portion 20. As shown in FIG.
[0041] According to the above embodiment, the elastic piece 35, which is the elastically deforming part, is integrally formed with the fixed part 20. Therefore, when the fixed part 20 is clamped between a pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6 as shown in FIG. 3, the elastic restoring force (which can also be called an elastic force) F of the elastically deforming part acts on the abutment surface 2 on the case 1 side and the abutment surface 6 on the case attachment member 5 side.
[0042] Here, the elastic restoring force acts directly mainly on the contact surface 6 of the case attachment member 5, and the elastic restoring force also acts indirectly on the contact surface 2 of the case 1 via the fixing part 20. As a result, the capture tool 10 can be installed at the target location while suppressing displacement.
[0043] In addition, in this embodiment, one surface 20a of the fixing portion 20 abuts against the inner surface of the case 1, and the other surface 20b of the fixing portion 20 opposite to the one surface 20a (here, the outer surface of the most distal end of the tip portion 38 of the elastic piece 35) abuts against the abutment surface 6 of the case attachment member 5, so that the fixing portion 20 is clamped between the abutment surface 2 of the case 1 and the abutment surface 6 of the case attachment member 5.
[0044] According to the above embodiment, the fixing portion 20 is clamped between the inner surface of the case 1 and the case attachment member 5 with the above configuration, so that the capture device 10 can be installed within the flow path R in which oil is stored or flows, and magnetic foreign matter contained in the oil can be efficiently captured.
[0045] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the fixing portion 20 has a base portion 30 that abuts against one of the abutment surfaces 2, and an elastic piece 35 that extends from the base portion 30 so as to abut against the other abutment surface 6.
[0046] According to the above embodiment, the fixing portion 20 has a relatively simple and compact configuration having a base portion 30 and an elastic piece 35, so that even in a location where the installation space for the capturing device 10 is narrow, the elastic restoring force F can be applied to the pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6, thereby preventing the capturing device 10 from shifting out of position and allowing the capturing device 10 to be properly installed.
[0047] (Second embodiment of magnetic foreign body capture device) A second embodiment of the magnetic foreign body capturing device according to the present invention will be described below with reference to Figures 4 to 7. Note that parts that are substantially the same as those in the above embodiment are given the same reference numerals and descriptions thereof will be omitted.
[0048] A magnetic foreign body capturing device 10A of this embodiment (hereinafter also simply referred to as "capturing device 10A") has a fixing part 20A with a different shape from that of the previous embodiment.
[0049] That is, in this embodiment, fixed portion 20A has a plate-like body 40 wound around a predetermined winding axis C, forming a spiral shape with one end 41 and the other end 43 misaligned in the axial direction of the winding axis C.
[0050] In addition, the fixed portion 20A in this embodiment is adapted to be clamped and fixed by a pair of contact surfaces 2, 6, as shown in FIG.
[0051] Moreover, the fixed portion 20A is configured so that, when sandwiched between the pair of contact surfaces 2, 6, the entire fixed portion 20A is elastically deformed.
[0052] More specifically, when one end 41 and the other end 43 of fixed portion 20A in the axial direction extending along winding axis C are clamped between a pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6, one end 41 and the other end 43 of fixed portion 20A are elastically deformed so that they overlap or approach each other relative to winding axis C (it can also be said that fixed portion 20A is compressively deformed in the direction along winding axis C).
[0053] To explain the capturing tool 10A in more detail, the fixed part 20A has a plate-like body 40 that extends with a constant width and thickness from one end to the other end. One surface 40a in the thickness direction Z of this plate-like body 40 is wound spirally toward the winding axis C while being misaligned with respect to the axial direction of the winding axis C, thereby forming the fixed part 20A as shown in Figs. 4 and 5.
[0054] 4 and 5, one end 41 in the axial direction of the fixed part 20A is disposed on the upper side of the paper, and the other end 43 in the axial direction is disposed on the lower side of the paper. Also, the one end 41 side of the fixed part 20A in the axial direction has a reduced diameter, and the other end 43 side in the axial direction has a larger diameter than the one end 41.
[0055] When one end 41 and the other end 43 of fixed portion 20A are clamped between a pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6, one end 41 and the other end 43 of fixed portion 20A elastically deform so that they overlap with respect to winding axis C, as shown in Figures 6 and 7.
[0056] Therefore, even in a place where the distance between the pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6 is narrow, i.e., the distance between the inner surface of the case 1 or the case attachment member 5 is narrow, the elastic restoring force F can be applied to the pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6, thereby preventing the fixing part 20A from shifting in position and allowing the capturing device 10A to be properly installed.
[0057] Furthermore, since the fixed portion 20A has a spiral shape as described above, the capture area of the capture surface 25 can be increased, making it possible to dramatically expand the capture range of magnetic foreign matter, and thereby reducing the amount of magnetic foreign matter that escapes capture.
[0058] In addition, in this embodiment, the entire fixed portion 20A is configured to be elastically deformed as shown in FIG. 7 by being clamped between the pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6. Therefore, when the fixed portion 20A is clamped between the pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6, a relatively large elastic restoring force F from the fixed portion 20A can be applied to the pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6, so that the capturing device 10A can be installed at the desired location while suppressing positional deviation.
[0059] (Third embodiment of magnetic foreign body capture device) A third embodiment of a magnetic foreign body capturing device according to the present invention will be described below with reference to Figures 8 to 11. Note that parts that are substantially the same as those in the above embodiment are given the same reference numerals and descriptions thereof will be omitted.
[0060] A magnetic foreign matter capturing device 10B of this embodiment (hereinafter also simply referred to as "capturing device 10B") differs from the above embodiment in the shape of a fixing part 20B.
[0061] The fixed portion 20B in this embodiment has a substrate 50 and a plurality of protrusions 51, 52, 53, 54 protruding from one surface 50a of the substrate 50. In addition, legs 55, 56 protrude from the other surface 50b of the substrate 50 and elastically deform when in contact with one contact surface 2 (which can also be said to be the inner surface of the case 1) provided on the case 1, and the legs 55, 56 come into contact with the contact surface 2 of the case 1 with a gap being generated between the contact surface 2 of the case 1 and the other surface 50b of the substrate 50, as shown in FIG.
[0062] More specifically, the fixed portion 20B has a substrate 50 having a generally long plate shape (rectangular shape) extending a predetermined length. One surface of the substrate 50 in the thickness direction Z is referred to as "surface 50a," and the other surface in the thickness direction Z is referred to as "surface 50b."
[0063] 8, on one surface 50a of the substrate 50, three protrusions 51, 52, and 53 having ridges extend from the other end side in the longitudinal direction Y toward the one end side in the longitudinal direction Y. By using these three protrusions 51, 52, and 53, the flow direction of the oil flowing through the flow path R can be controlled to some extent so as to face the one end side in the longitudinal direction Y of the substrate 50.
[0064] Furthermore, a columnar protrusion 54 protrudes at a predetermined height from one end side in the length direction Y and one end side in the width direction X on one surface 50a of the substrate 50. A recessed portion 54a is formed at the tip end of the protrusion 54 in the protruding direction.
[0065] 9, on the other surface 50b of the substrate 50, a leg 55 is provided extending from one end side in the width direction X and the other end side in the length direction Y toward the one end side in the length direction Y. Also, on the other surface 50b of the substrate 50, a leg 55 is provided extending from the other end side in the width direction X and the one end side in the length direction Y toward the other end side in the length direction Y. That is, on the other surface 50b of the substrate 50, a pair of legs 55, 56 are provided alternately with their extension directions opposite to each other.
[0066] Referring also to Figure 10, the legs 55, 56 have a base end 57 extending diagonally outward from a predetermined point on the other surface 50b of the substrate 50 toward a predetermined end in the longitudinal direction Y, an extension portion 58 extending diagonally outward from the extending tip of the base end 57 toward the predetermined end in the longitudinal direction Y and gradually moving away from the other surface 50b of the substrate 50, and a tip portion 59 extending from the extending tip of the extension portion 58 and bending in a direction approaching the other surface 31 of the base portion 30, and the legs are approximately trapezoidal when viewed from the side.
[0067] 9 and 10 show the state before the legs 55, 56 are elastically deformed, and Fig. 11 shows the state after the elastic piece 35 is elastically deformed. Further, the tip 59a of the tip portion 59 is folded back in a direction away from the surface 50b of the substrate 50 via a curved contact portion 59b. Furthermore, the outer surface 58a of the extension portion 58 constituting the legs 55, 56 is the surface that contacts the inner surface of the case 1.
[0068] In addition, in the state before elastic deformation of the legs 55, 56 shown in Figure 10, each extension portion 58 is inclined obliquely with respect to the planar direction of the other surface 50b of the substrate 50, and the abutment portion 59b of each tip portion 59 is spaced apart from the other surface 50b of the substrate 50.
[0069] Then, as shown in FIG. 11, the leg portions 55, 56 of the fixing portion 20B are placed on and abutted against the abutment surface 2 of the case 1, and the protrusion 54 abuts against and is pressed against the abutment surface 6 of the case attachment member 5; in other words, when the fixing portion 20B is clamped between the pair of abutment surfaces 2, 6, the outer surfaces 58a of the extension portions 58 of the legs 55, 56 abut against the abutment surface 2 of the case 1, and the abutment portions 59b of the tip portions 59 abut against the other surface 50b of the substrate 50, so that the legs 55, 56 elastically deform.
[0070] At this time, legs 55, 56 protrude from the other surface 50b of the substrate 50 and elastically deform when they come into contact with the abutment surface 2 of the case 1. As shown in Figure 11, the legs 55, 56 come into contact with the abutment surface 2 of the case 1 with a gap being generated between the abutment surface 2 of the case 1 and the other surface 50b of the substrate 50.
[0071] In other words, the legs 55, 56 abut against the abutment surface 2 of the case 1 with a gap being created between the abutment surface 2 of the case 1 and the other surface 50b of the substrate 50, so that the other surface 50b of the substrate 50 can also be effectively utilized as the capture surface 25, thereby increasing the capture area of the capture surface 25 and further reducing the loss of capture of magnetic foreign matter.
[0072] In addition, in this embodiment, the fixed portion 20B has a substrate 50 and multiple protrusions 51, 52, 53, and 54 protruding from one surface 50a of the substrate 50, thereby increasing the capture area of the capture surface 25 and reducing the loss of capture of magnetic foreign matter.
[0073] Furthermore, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modified embodiments are possible within the scope of the gist of the present invention, and such embodiments are also included in the scope of the present invention. [Explanation of symbols]
