Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a front grille placed on the front of an automobile, and more particularly to a structure of a disassembled front grille for an automobile that makes it possible to easily change the design of the automobile and the performance of the outside air intake to the radiator and engine compartment. [Background technology]
[0002] Traditionally, the front grille, which is placed at the front of the car, is a part that greatly affects the external impression of the car, but it is sold with the design set by the car manufacturer as a complete part attached to the car. If the car buyer does not like the design, it is common for them to replace it with a front grille sold as an aftermarket part.
[0003] In addition, when changing the performance of the outside air intake to the radiator or engine compartment, specifically when wanting to increase or decrease the amount of outside air intake in accordance with changes in the outside temperature, or when changing the location of the outside air intake due to changes to auxiliary equipment in the engine compartment, it was common to either replace the front grille or remove it from the car and modify it, just as when making a design change. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2014-69685 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] However, conventional front grilles, like the mounting structure disclosed in Patent Document 1, have mounting parts that include a base portion, a connecting portion, and a support portion, and the grille is attached with the tips of the mounting parts placed on a support member from above the vehicle body, resulting in a complex structure and making it difficult to attach and remove the front grille.
[0006] The process of changing the design or changing the air intake performance, which requires the removal and attachment of the front grille, is extremely cumbersome, and there is also the problem that replacing the front grille every time a change is made is expensive.
[0007] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and a specific object of the present invention is to provide a disassembly type front grille for an automobile that allows for easy changes to the design and to the performance of the outside air intake to the radiator and engine compartment. [Means for solving the problem]
[0008] The present invention has been devised to achieve the above object. More specifically, the present invention includes a front grille for an automobile that covers the front surface of a vehicle body, the front grille having a front grill base part formed integrally with left and right headlights and left and right light cover parts that surround the peripheries of left and right turn signal lenses that are arranged near the outer edges of the left and right headlights, and a center grille part that is located between the left and right light cover parts and takes in outside air into a radiator and an engine room, and a design surface unit part that is arranged in front of the center grille part and forms a design surface and enables changes in the amount and position of outside air intake, the center grille part being formed in a substantially concave shape recessed toward the rear of the vehicle from the left and right light cover parts.
[0009] The disassembly type front grille for automobiles of the present invention is configured so that the front grille base portion and the decorative surface unit portion can be disassembled from the front side of the vehicle using mounting members, and therefore the decorative surface unit portion can be replaced with light work, which has the effect of facilitating design changes and changes to the performance of outside air intake into the engine compartment.
