Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] One embodiment of the present invention relates to a lid for a packaging container. Another embodiment of the present invention relates to a packaging container.
Background Art
[0002] In stores such as supermarkets and convenience stores, food and drinks such as boxed lunches and prepared foods are stored in packaging containers and displayed. By storing food and drinks in packaging containers, it becomes possible to stack multiple packaging containers for display, and food and drinks can be provided to many consumers. In recent years, there has been an increase in the practice of storing cooked foods prepared in the store on-site in packaging containers and displaying them in the store for consumers. Therefore, various packaging containers have been proposed according to the food and drinks or cooked foods to be stored (see, for example, Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2). For example, a packaging container having an inner fitting structure is more effective in preventing liquid leakage from the packaging container than a packaging container having an outer fitting structure. Therefore, for cooked foods with a lot of juice, a packaging container having an inner fitting structure is often selected.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] When the cooked food prepared in the store is stored in the packaging container on the spot, it is not uncommon for it to be stored in the packaging container before it cools down. In this case, since water droplets formed by cooling the steam from the hot cooked food adhere to the lid of the packaging container, a packaging container having an inner fitting structure that is less likely to leak liquid is often selected. However, in the lid of the conventional packaging container, there has been a problem that the lid is difficult to close and that the lid opens due to impact even after the lid is closed.
[0005] In view of the above problems, one object of an embodiment of the present invention is to provide a lid for a packaging container that is easy to close and difficult to open. Another object of an embodiment of the present invention is to provide a packaging container in which the lid is easy to close and difficult to open.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0006] The lid of the packaging container according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a top surface portion, a side surface portion extending downward from the top surface portion, a protrusion portion located between the two side surface portions and protruding outward from the side surface portion in a plan view, and a groove portion provided so as to surround the side surface portion and the protrusion portion. The groove portion includes an inner peripheral wall including a part of the side surface portion and a part of the protrusion portion, and an outer peripheral wall facing the inner peripheral wall. The outer peripheral wall includes a fitting portion that fits with the container body of the packaging container.
[0007] The protrusion portion may protrude above the top surface portion.
[0008] At least one of a convex rib protruding outward and a concave rib recessed inward may be provided on the protrusion portion. A convex rib may be provided between the two concave ribs. At least one of the convex rib and the concave rib may extend to the bottom surface of the groove portion.
[0009] A concave rib recessed inward may be provided between the top surface portion and the protrusion portion.
[0010] A concave rib recessed inward may be provided between the top surface portion and the side surface portion.
[0011] In a cross-sectional view of the groove portion, the distance between the end of the protrusion and the top of the fitting portion may be smaller than the distance between the end of the side surface portion and the top of the fitting portion.
[0012] The packaging container according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the lid body and a container body that fits with the fitting portion of the lid body.
Advantages of the Invention
[0013] The lid body of the packaging container according to an embodiment of the present invention has improved rigidity and is difficult to deform. Therefore, the load applied to the top surface portion of the lid body is easily transmitted to the fitting portion, and the lid body is easy to close. As a result, the lid body can be reliably fitted to the container body. Further, even after the lid body and the container body are fitted, since the lid body is difficult to deform, it is possible to suppress the lid body from opening due to an impact.

However, the present invention can be implemented in various forms without departing from the gist thereof, and is not to be construed as being limited to the description of the embodiments exemplified below.
[0016] For the sake of clearer explanation, the drawings may schematically represent the width, thickness, shape, etc. of each part compared to the actual aspect, but do not limit the interpretation of the present invention. Also, in the specification and drawings, components having the same function as the components described with respect to the previously shown drawings may be given the same reference numerals, and redundant explanations may be omitted.
[0017] In the specification, the description of "above" or "below" used to define the positional relationship between one component and another component includes not only the case where another component is located directly above or directly below a certain component, but also the case where still another component is interposed therebetween.
[0018] <1. Structure of the packaging container 10> FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing the structure of the packaging container 10 in which the lid 100 and the container body 200 are fitted together. FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing the structure of the packaging container 10 in which the lid 100 and the container body 200 are separated.
[0019] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the packaging container 10 includes a lid 100 and a container body 200. Although the lid 100 is separated from the container body 200, the lid 100 can be fitted to the container body 200. After the container body 200 contains contents such as food and drink or cooking ingredients, the lid 100 is fitted to the container body 200, and the packaging container 10 containing the contents can be displayed in the store. Also, the contents can be hygienically managed for each packaging container 10.
[0020] The lid 100 preferably has translucency so that consumers can visually recognize the contents contained in the packaging container 10. As the material of the lid 100, for example, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) can be used. Further, the lid 100 preferably has heat resistance. For example, when the packaging container 10 is heated in a microwave oven, biaxially oriented polystyrene (OPS) or the like can also be used as the material of the lid 100. The details of the configuration of the lid 100 will be described later.
[0021] The container body 200 may have translucency or may be colored to be opaque. As the material of the container body 200, for example, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyolefin (PO), or polycarbonate (PC) can be used. Further, as the container body 200, a foamed material may be used, or a non-foamed material may be used. Further, the container body 200 may be composed of a laminated film of a plurality of materials.
[0022] In plan view, the outer shape of the packaging container 10 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is substantially rectangular, but is not limited thereto. The outer shape of the packaging container 10 may be substantially square, or may be a substantially polygon such as a substantially triangle or a substantially pentagon. Further, the sides forming the outer shape of the packaging container 10 may be straight lines or may be curves. The corners forming the outer shape of the packaging container 10 may also be connected to each other so that the sides are curved. The lid 100 and the container body 200 can be processed into a predetermined shape using a molding method such as vacuum molding or pressure-air molding. The lid 100 and the container body 200 have outer edge portions corresponding to the outer shape of the packaging container 10. Hereinafter, for the sake of convenience, it will be described assuming that the outer shape of the packaging container 10 in plan view is a substantially rectangular shape having two short sides, two long sides, and corners between the short sides and the long sides.
[0023] On the outer edge of the container body 200, a flange portion 210, a base portion 220, and a fitting portion 230 are provided (see FIG. 2). The base portion 220 is provided along the outer edge of the container body 200 outside the flange portion 210. Also, the base portion 220 protrudes upward from the flange portion 210. The height of the base portion 220 may be different at the sides and corners of the outer edge of the container body 200. For example, the height of the base portion 220 at the corner of the outer edge of the container body 200 may be lower than the height of the base portion 220 at the side of the outer edge of the container body 200. The fitting portion 230 is located inside the flange portion 210 and is provided on the side wall that extends downward from the flange portion 210. The side wall has a taper, and in the fitting portion 230, the side wall is recessed outward. The fitting portion 230 can also be said to be a recess provided in the side wall. When the lid body 100 is placed above the container body 200 and a weight is applied to the lid body 100, the lid body 100 and the container body 200 are fitted together through the fitting portion 230. That is, the packaging container 10 has a so-called inner fitting structure in which the lid body 100 is fitted inside the container body 200 (see FIG. 1). Details of the fitting between the lid body 100 and the container body 200 will be described later.
[0024] The packaging container 10 having an internal fitting structure is less likely to leak liquid than a packaging container having an external fitting structure. Therefore, even when warm contents are stored in the packaging container 10 and water droplets adhere to the lid 100, it is possible to suppress the water droplets from leaking to the outside of the packaging container 10. In particular, in the packaging container 10, when the lid 100 and the container body 200 are fitted together, the outer edge portion of the lid 100 is located inside the flange portion 220 of the container body 200, so that it is possible to further suppress the water droplets from leaking to the outside of the packaging container 10. Further, since the flange portion 220 of the container body 200 is provided to extend upward from the flange portion 210, the rigidity of the outer edge portion of the container body 200 is improved, and the flange portion 210 of the container body 200 is less likely to deform. That is, even when an unexpected impact is applied to the container body 200, the flange portion 210 of the container body 200 is less likely to deform. Therefore, it is difficult for the force to be transmitted to the lid 100 fitted to the container body 200, and the lid 100 is less likely to come off from the container body 200. In other words, the packaging container 10 has high impact resistance, and the lid 100 is difficult to open due to an impact.
[0025] <2. Configuration of the lid 100> Figs. 3 to 5 are a top perspective view, a top view, and a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of the lid 100, respectively. Fig. 5(A) is a cross-sectional view of the lid 100 cut along the line A1 - A2 in Fig. 4. Fig. 5(B) is a cross-sectional view of the lid 100 cut along the line B1 - B2 in Fig. 4.
[0026] The lid body 100 includes a top surface portion 110, a side surface portion 120, a protrusion portion 130, a flange portion 140, a groove portion 150, and a fitting portion 160. The top surface portion 110 generally forms the upper surface of the lid body 100. The side surface portion 120 extends downward from the top surface portion 110 and generally forms the side surface of the lid body 100. The protrusion portion 130 is located between two side surface portions 120 (the side surface portion 120 along the short side direction of the lid body 100 and the side surface portion 120 along the long side direction of the lid body 100) and generally forms the corner of the lid body 100. The protrusion portion 130 is provided from the upper surface to the side surface of the lid body 100. The flange portion 140 generally forms the outer edge portion of the lid body 100. The groove portion 150 is provided inside the flange portion 140 so as to surround the side surface portion 120 and the protrusion portion 130.
[0027] The side surface portion 120 is provided so as to extend from the top surface portion 110. Therefore, the side surface portion 120 may include not only the side surface of the lid body 100 but also a part of the upper surface of the lid body 100. Further, the protrusion portion 130 is also provided so as to extend from the top surface portion 110. Therefore, the protrusion portion 130 may include not only the corner of the lid body 100 but also a part of the upper surface of the lid body 100.
[0028] Hereinafter, each of the above-described components in the lid body 100 will be described in detail.
[0029] The top surface portion 110 includes a flat top surface 111 and a concave rib 112 that is recessed downward from the top surface 111. The concave rib 112 is provided along the side surface portion 120 at a position closer to the side surface portion 120 in the short side direction of the lid body 100 than the central portion. Further, the concave rib 112 is also provided around the protrusion portion 130 so as to surround the protrusion portion 130. By providing the concave rib 112 on the top surface portion 110, the rigidity of the top surface portion 110 is improved, and it is possible to suppress the deformation of the top surface portion 110 when a load is applied to the top surface portion 110.
[0030] In the top surface portion 110, a configuration in which the concave rib 112 is provided along the side surface portion 120 in the long side direction of the lid body 100 may also be adopted. However, on the top surface portion 110, a seal or the like on which components of the contents or the expiration date are displayed may be attached. If the seal is attached on the concave rib 112, a step is formed on the seal, making it difficult for the consumer to check the display content of the seal. Therefore, when securing an area for attaching the seal, the concave rib 112 may not be provided on the side surface portion 120 side in the long side direction of the lid body 100.
[0031] In the above description, the concave rib 112 has been described as being provided on the top surface portion 110. However, the concave rib 112 may be provided in the vicinity of the side surface portion 120 and the protruding portion 130. That is, the concave rib 112 is preferably provided between the top surface portion 110 and the side surface portion 120, and between the top surface portion 110 and the protruding portion 130. Here, "between the top surface portion 110 and the side surface portion 120" may include a part of the top surface portion 110 or a part of the side surface portion 120 near the boundary between the top surface portion 110 and the side surface portion 120. Further, "between the top surface portion 110 and the protruding portion 130" may include a part of the top surface portion 110 or a part of the protruding portion 130 near the boundary between the top surface portion 110 and the protruding portion 130.
[0032] The side surface portion 120 includes a side wall 121 extending downward from the top surface 111 and a convex body 122 protruding from the side wall 121. The side wall 121 extends into the groove portion 150. The side wall 121 may have a taper or a step. For example, as shown in FIGS. 5(A) and 5(B), the side wall 121 is provided with a step in accordance with the height position of the flange portion 140. By providing the step, the rigidity of the side surface portion 120 can be improved. The convex body 122 is provided on a part of the side wall 121. In FIG. 4, four convex bodies 122 are provided on each of the four side surfaces of the side surface portion 120, but the position and number of the convex bodies 122 are not limited to this. The convex body 122 can create a gap between two adjacent lid bodies 100 when a plurality of lid bodies 100 are stacked, preventing the two adjacent lid bodies 100 from adhering to each other. By providing the convex body 122 on the lid body 100, it becomes easy to take out one lid body 100 from a plurality of stacked lid bodies 100.
[0033] The protruding portion 130 is located at a corner of the lid body 100 and has a shape that curves from the upper surface to the side surface of the lid body 100. In plan view, the protruding portion 130 protrudes outward from the side surface portion 120. In other words, the protruding portion 130 extends so as to protrude outward from the side wall 121 of the side surface portion 120. Also, in side view, the protruding portion 130 protrudes upward from the top surface 111 of the top surface portion 110. By providing the protruding portion 130 to protrude outward from the side surface portion 120 or upward from the top surface portion 110, the rigidity of the corner of the lid body 100 can be improved. By having at least one of the configurations of the outward protrusion and the upward protrusion of the protruding portion 130, the rigidity of the lid body 100 can be improved. However, in order to transmit the weight applied to the top surface portion 110 to the fitting portion 160, it is preferable to have both the configurations of the outward protrusion and the upward protrusion of the protruding portion 130. The protruding portion 130 preferably has a radius of curvature larger than that of the curved surface connecting the top surface portion 110 and the side surface portion 120. In this case, even when a weight is applied to the top surface portion 110, the protruding portion 130 is less likely to deform, and the load is easily transmitted to the fitting portion 160. As a result, in the packaging container 10, the lid body 100 can be reliably fitted to the container body 200. Also, since the protruding portion 130 located at the corner of the lid body 100 is less likely to deform, in the packaging container 10 in which the lid body 100 and the container body 200 are fitted, the lid body 100 is less likely to come off. That is, the opening of the lid body 100 is suppressed by an impact.
[0034] The protruding portion 130 is provided with a convex rib 131 protruding outward and a concave rib 132 recessed inward. Each of the convex rib 131 and the concave rib 132 extends from above downward. Also, each of the convex rib 131 and the concave rib 132 extends into the groove portion 150. In FIG. 3, five convex ribs 131 and two concave ribs 132 are provided for one protruding portion 130. The five convex ribs 131 are provided between the two concave ribs 132. However, the number of the convex rib 131 and the concave rib 132 is not limited to this. The number of the concave ribs 132 may be larger than the number of the convex ribs. Also, the positions of the convex rib 131 and the concave rib 132 are not limited to this. Further, the protruding portion 130 may adopt a configuration in which only the convex rib 131 or only the concave rib 132 is provided. By providing at least one of the convex rib 131 and the concave rib 132 on the protruding portion 130, the rigidity of the protruding portion 130 is improved, so that the corners of the lid body 100 are less likely to be deformed further.
[0035] The flange portion 140 forms the outer edge portion of the lid body 100. The lid body 100 is fitted to the container body 200 such that the flange portion 140 of the lid body 100 faces the flange portion 210 of the container body 200. As described above, when the lid body 100 and the container body 200 are fitted together, the flange portion 140 of the lid body 100 is located inside the embankment portion 220 of the container body 200. Therefore, even when water droplets adhere to the lid body 100, the embankment portion 220 can prevent the water droplets from leaking to the outside of the packaging container 10. However, the configuration of the flange portion 140 is not limited to this. A configuration in which an outer edge wall covering the embankment portion 220 is provided outside the flange portion 140 may also be adopted.
[0036] The groove portion 150 includes an inner peripheral wall 151 located on the side of the side surface portion 120 and the protruding portion 130, and an outer peripheral wall 152 extending downward from the flange portion 140. The inner peripheral wall 151 and the outer peripheral wall 152 face each other, and the inner peripheral wall 151 and the outer peripheral wall 152 are connected via a bottom surface 153. As described above, the side wall 121 of the side surface portion 120 and the protruding portion 130 extend into the groove portion 150. Therefore, it can also be said that the inner peripheral wall 151 of the groove portion 150 is formed by a part of the side surface portion 120 and a part of the protruding portion 130. Specifically, in the groove portion 150, the side wall 121 of the side surface portion 120 and the protruding portion 130 are connected to the bottom surface 153.
[0037] The fitting portion 160 is provided on the outer peripheral wall 152 of the groove portion 150. The outer peripheral wall 152 has a taper, and in the fitting portion 160, the outer peripheral wall 152 protrudes outward.
[0038] Here, with reference to FIG. 6, the position of the fitting portion 160 in the groove portion 150 will be described in more detail.
[0039] FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view for explaining the position of the fitting portion 160 in the groove portion 150. FIG. 6(A) is a cross-sectional view of the lid body 100 cut so as to include the side surface portion 120 and the groove portion 150. FIG. 6(B) is a cross-sectional view of the lid body 100 cut so as to include the protruding portion 130 and the groove portion 150.
[0040] As shown in FIG. 6(A), the side wall 121 of the side surface portion 120 forms the inner peripheral wall 151 of the groove portion 150 and is connected to the bottom surface 153. In other words, in the groove portion 150, the end portion of the side surface portion 120 (that is, the end portion of the side wall 121) is connected to the bottom surface 153. Note that a step is provided on the side wall 121 so as to narrow the width of the groove portion 150. As shown in FIG. 6(B), the protruding portion 130 also forms the inner peripheral wall 151 of the groove portion 150 and is connected to the bottom surface 153. In other words, in the groove portion 150, the end portion of the protruding portion 130 is connected to the bottom surface 153. Further, the fitting portion 160 is provided such that the outer peripheral wall 152 of the groove portion 150 protrudes outward and has a top portion that protrudes most outward.
[0041] Here, the distance between the end of the side surface portion 120 and the top of the fitting portion 160 in the direction parallel to the bottom surface 153 is defined as a first distance d1. Also, the distance between the end of the protrusion portion 130 and the top of the fitting portion 160 in the direction parallel to the bottom surface 153 is defined as a second distance d2. In the lid body 100, since the protrusion portion 130 protrudes outside the side wall 121 of the side surface portion 120, the second distance d2 is smaller than the first distance d1. Specifically, the second distance d2 is 3 mm or less, preferably 2.8 mm or less, and more preferably 2.6 mm or less. Thus, in the lid body 100, because the second distance d2 is small, the load is easily transmitted to the fitting portion 160 at the corner of the lid body 100. Therefore, the lid body 100 and the container body 200 can be securely fitted together.
[0042] <3. Fitting Structure between Lid Body 100 and Container Body 200> FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view for explaining the fitting between the lid body 100 and the container body 200. Specifically, FIG. 7(B) is a partially enlarged cross-sectional view of the packaging container 10 obtained by enlarging the fitting portion shown in FIG. 7(A).
[0043] As shown in FIGS. 7(A) and 7(B), inside the container body 200, the top of the fitting portion 160 of the lid body 100 fits into the recess of the fitting portion 230 of the container body 200, whereby the lid body 100 is fitted with the container body 200. In the packaging container 10, the rigidity of the protrusion portion 130 of the lid body 100 is improved, and the lid body 100 is not easily deformed even after the lid body 100 and the container body 200 are fitted together. Therefore, in the packaging container 10 in which the lid body 100 and the container body 200 are fitted together, the lid body 100 is not easily detached.
[0044] As described above, the lid 100 of the packaging container 10 includes a protrusion 130 between two side portions 120 of the lid 100 (for example, at the corner of the lid 100). The protrusion 130 is provided from the upper surface to the side surface of the lid 100 and protrudes outward from the side wall 121 of the side portion 120 in a plan view. Thereby, while improving the rigidity of the protrusion 130, the end portion of the protrusion 130 can be brought close to the fitting portion 160. As a result, the load applied to the top surface portion 110 is easily transmitted to the fitting portion 160 via the protrusion 130. Further, by protruding the protrusion 130 outward from the top surface portion 110 or providing a convex rib 131 or a concave rib 132 on the protrusion 130, the rigidity of the protrusion 130 can be improved. Furthermore, by providing a concave rib 112 on the top surface portion 110, the rigidity of the top surface portion 110 can be improved.
[0045] The lid 100 of the packaging container 10 has improved rigidity and is difficult to deform. Therefore, the load applied to the top surface portion 110 of the lid 100 is easily transmitted to the fitting portion 160, and the lid 100 is easy to close. As a result, the lid 100 can be reliably fitted to the container body 200. Further, even after the lid 100 and the container body 200 are fitted, since the lid 100 is difficult to deform, the lid 100 is suppressed from opening due to an impact.
[0046] Even if there are other operational effects different from those brought about by the aspects of the above-described embodiments, those that are obvious from the description in this specification or can be easily predicted by those skilled in the art are naturally understood to be brought about by the present invention.
