As disclosed in Patent Document 1, tape-type disposable diapers typically have an overall rectangular shape with a narrowed midsection in the longitudinal direction. The diaper is placed on the wearer's buttocks, groin, and lower abdomen, folded and aligned, and then secured with the tape provided on the diaper to complete the wearing state. However, because the human body has a three-dimensional and complex shape, it is not easy to properly wear a tape-type disposable diaper with such a simple, flat shape while preventing leakage of body waste. In particular, it is difficult to properly align the diaper with the wearer's groin, thigh base, and gluteal fold, and it is also difficult to determine the appropriate tape fastening position to maintain this state. This further improves the fit and size adaptability of the tape-type disposable diaper 1 to the wearer.
