[0080] As shown in Table 1, each of the hair cosmetics of Examples 1 to 10 was evaluated as a hair cosmetic that left hair smooth during rinsing, had good rinsing properties, was not sticky after rinsing, and was able to impart a smooth feeling to hair after drying, and further, was excellent in maintaining the smooth feeling even under low humidity conditions. On the other hand, the hair cosmetics of Comparative Examples 1 to 5, which do not satisfy any of the essential requirements of the present invention, were not found to be sufficiently effective in all evaluation items, as shown below. The hair cosmetic composition of Comparative Example 1, in which the content of component (A) was outside the specified range, was evaluated as being insufficient in terms of rinsing properties and lack of stickiness on hair after rinsing. The hair cosmetic composition of Comparative Example 2, in which the content of component (B) was outside the specified range, was evaluated as having insufficient rinsing properties. The hair cosmetic composition of Comparative Example 3, which did not contain component (C), was evaluated as leaving hair with insufficient smoothness upon rinsing. The hair cosmetic composition of Comparative Example 4, which did not contain component (D), was evaluated as having insufficient smooth feeling after drying and insufficient durability of smooth feeling under low humidity conditions. The hair cosmetic composition of Comparative Example 5, which did not contain component (E), was evaluated as not providing sufficient long-lasting smooth feeling under low humidity conditions.

Claims
[Claim 1] A hair cosmetic composition containing the following components (A) to (E): (A) 0.5 to 7% by mass of a cationic surfactant (B) 1 to 20% by mass of a linear alcohol having 14 to 24 carbon atoms (C) 1 to 30% by mass of a polyhydric alcohol having 3 to 6 carbon atoms (D) 0.0001 to 10% by mass of vegetable oil (E) 0.00001 to 0.1 mass% of one or more extracts selected from the group consisting of Portulacaceae plant extracts, Moraceae plant extracts, and Lamiaceae plant extracts
