AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Conventional dishwasher boosters face issues with harnesses connecting the operation unit and controller being pinched between the front panel and housing during assembly, leading to potential damage and time-consuming reattachment.

Method used

The dishwasher booster design includes a detachable front panel with an operation unit attached via a mounting member, exposing it through an operation window, and uses a gasket and gasket receiving portion to seal the gap, while routing harnesses without excess length, and positioning the operation unit away from the exhaust section to prevent pinching and thermal damage.

Benefits of technology

This configuration prevents harness pinching during panel attachment, ensures easy operation, seals against water ingress, and reduces thermal exposure, enhancing assembly efficiency and durability.

Abstract

To eliminate a possibility that harnesses extending from an operation part is caught between a front panel and a housing when the front panel is attached.SOLUTION: A dishwasher booster 1 includes: a tank storing hot water; a heat source unit 3 for heating hot water stored in the tank; a controller for controlling actuation of the heat source unit 3; an operation part 18 electrically connected with the controller; and a housing 2 for housing the tank, the heat source unit 3, and the controller. The dishwasher can supply hot water in the tank 4 to an external dishwasher. In a front surface of the housing 2, the operation part 18 is attached via an attachment panel 65, and a front panel 15 is provided so as to be detachable from the front. The front panel 15 is formed with an operation window 72 corresponding to the operation part 18 attached to the attachment panel 65. In a state where the front panel 15 is attached, the operation part 18 is exposed to the front surface via the operation window 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
