Abstract
To provide a push-in (snap) / twist-off sealing device with significantly enhanced durability.SOLUTION: A bottle combined with a sealing device 22 comprises an upper wall section defining an opening and a cylindrical snap-fit tube section 30 extending downward from the upper wall section. The tube section 30 comprises a threaded section 34 designed to engage with a male threaded section 60 on a bottle neck. The threaded section of the tube and the threaded section of the bottle neck pass over each other when the sealing device is snap-fitted onto the bottle during its manufacturing process. The tube comprises a resistance recess 42 and a guide recess. The resistance recess 42 and the guide recess accommodate a pushing element on a bottle shoulder, enabling loosening of the threads of the sealing device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
