Abstract

To provide a foundation structure and a construction method that can reduce the amount of reinforced concrete used.SOLUTION: A foundation structure according to one embodiment is a foundation structure 1 that constitutes a foundation B of a concrete skeleton S. The foundation structure 1 includes reinforced concrete 2 constructed on ground G, a plurality of rod-shaped members 3 that penetrate the reinforced concrete 2 and extend from the reinforced concrete 2 into the ground G and are integrated with the reinforced concrete 2, and a plurality of anchors 4 that anchor each of the rod-shaped members 3 to the reinforced concrete 2 on a surface 2d of the reinforced concrete 2 that faces away from the ground G. A compressive force is applied to a surface where the reinforced concrete 2 and the ground G come into contact via the rod-shaped members 3 fixed to the plurality of anchors 4, thereby applying a peripheral friction force to the surface where the reinforced concrete 2 and the ground G come into contact.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
