Abstract
To provide a damper which can improve an insufficient attenuation force at a minor piston speed.SOLUTION: A damper includes: a first attenuation force generation mechanism 91 for generating an attenuation force provided at a first passage 95; a second attenuation force generation mechanism 321 which is provided at the second passage 322 and opens a valve in a state where the first attenuation force generation mechanism 91 is closed in a low piston speed region and opens the valve along with the first attenuation force generation mechanism 91 in a region with a speed larger than the low piston speed; a first orifice 223 provided on an upstream side or a downstream side of the second attenuation force generation mechanism 321; a variable flow rate mechanism 62 provided on a third passage 325; and a second orifice 421 provided on an upstream side or a downstream side of the variable flow rate 62.
