Abstract
To provide an automated guided vehicle operation system and an automated guided vehicle operation method that are able to reduce influence caused by a malfunction.SOLUTION: An automated guided vehicle operation system 1 loads an automated guided vehicle 20 with a to-be-conveyed object conforming to to-be-conveyed object information, from a loading unit 10 where a plurality of types of to-be conveyed objects are placed on respective type-specific placement units 11 according to their types, and conveys the conveyed object to an unloading unit 30. The automated guided vehicle operation system 1 includes unloading-unit communication means disposed in the unloading unit 30; guided-vehicle communication means disposed in the automated guided vehicle 20; and each placement-unit communication means disposed in each type-specific placement unit 11. The unloading-unit communication means transmits the to-be-conveyed object information to the guided-vehicle communication means. Each placement-unit communication means transmits a signal to the guided-vehicle communication means according to whether the type information of a corresponding type-specific placement unit 11 and the to-be-conveyed object information received from the guided-vehicle communication means match or not.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
