Abstract

To provide an overheat protection part, without impairing convenience of a sterilization device.SOLUTION: A sterilization device includes a sterilization chamber, a heating part, a control part, and an overheat prevention part. The sterilization chamber stores an object to be sterilized. The heating part heats a sterilant supplied to the sterilization chamber, in the sterilization chamber. The control part controls the heating part. The overheat prevention part is provided so as to come in direct contact with the heating part, measures the temperature around own part, autonomously stops the operation of the heating part without receiving an instruction from the control part, when the temperature reaches a predetermined first threshold, and restarts the operation of the heating part when the temperature is lowered to a predetermined second threshold smaller than the first threshold or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
