Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a door opening and closing device that electrically opens and closes a rotating door. [Background technology]
[0002] The applicant has already proposed a door opening and closing device that electrically opens and closes a door using a commercial power source as drive power, as in Patent Document 1 below. The applicant has also proposed a configuration in which an emergency power supply unit is provided in a relay box to supply power to the main body in the event of a power outage. By providing the emergency power supply unit in the relay box in this way, it is possible to prevent the main body from becoming larger and also to facilitate maintenance of the emergency power supply unit.
[0003] On the other hand, there are cases where it is desirable to install devices other than the main unit in an inconspicuous location from an external standpoint. In such cases, it is necessary to provide an emergency power supply unit in the main unit for ease of maintenance, but it is also necessary to keep the main unit as large as possible. [0004] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Publication No. 2020-197023 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] An object of the present invention is to provide an electric door opening and closing device that can prevent the main body from becoming excessively large in a configuration in which an emergency power supply unit is provided in the main body. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] The door opening and closing device of the present invention is an electric door opening and closing device that is attached to a rotating door or door frame and has a main body that has a drive unit for electrically opening and closing the door and a control unit that drives and controls the drive unit, and the main body has an interface board at one of its left and right ends to which a signal line between the main body and an external device is connected, and an emergency power supply unit that receives power from outside and supplies power to the control unit in the event of a power outage.
[0007] The electric door opening and closing device may be one that electrically performs both the door opening and closing operations, or one that electrically performs only the door opening operation or only the door closing operation. The left-right direction is the direction perpendicular to the rotation axis of the door, connecting the end of the door that is closer to the rotation axis and the front side of the door that is farther from the rotation axis. The front-to-back direction of the door (normal direction) is the front-to-back direction, and the axial direction of the door's rotation axis is the up-to-down direction.
[0008] According to this configuration, an emergency power supply unit is provided in the main body. Since the main body is easy to maintain, maintenance of the emergency power supply unit is also easy. In addition, there is greater freedom in the location of the power line for supplying power to the main body. Furthermore, by arranging the emergency power supply unit at one end of both left and right ends of the main body, the dimensions of the main body in the front-to-back direction and the up-to-down direction can be reduced while managing the left-to-right dimensions. Therefore, a good appearance can be maintained. Furthermore, power is supplied to the emergency power supply unit from the outside via a power line. Since the emergency power supply unit is arranged at one end of the main body in the left and right direction, wiring to the emergency power supply unit is easy.
[0009] An interface board is provided at one lateral end of the main body. That is, the interface board and the emergency power supply unit are located together at the same lateral end of the main body. Signal lines for transmitting and receiving signals between the main body and an external device are connected to the interface board. Signals sent from the external device to the main body are sent to the control unit via the interface board. Signals sent from the main body to the external device are sent from the control unit via the interface board. In this way, the interface board is a board that relays between the control unit and the external device. The external device is, for example, a sensor that detects people or an electric lock. By providing the interface board in the main body, restrictions on the placement of the control unit in the main body are reduced, making the layout easier. Furthermore, by providing the interface board at one lateral end of the main body, wiring within the main body is simplified, resulting in excellent assembly. Furthermore, by locating the interface board and the emergency power supply unit together at one lateral end of the main body, wiring with the signal lines and with the power lines is simplified. Therefore, the main body can be kept small and assembly is also excellent.
[0010] In particular, it is preferable that power is supplied to the emergency power supply unit via an interface board, the interface board having an external terminal to which a second external device can be connected, and power is supplied to the second external device via the interface board. According to this configuration, a power line for supplying power from the outside to the main body is connected to the interface board. The power supplied from the outside is supplied to the emergency power supply unit via the interface board and to the control unit via the emergency power supply. An external terminal is mounted on this interface board. A second external device can be connected to the external terminal. The second external device is an external device separate from the above-mentioned external device. A signal line between the second external device and a power line for supplying power to the external device are connected to the external terminal. Providing the external terminal on the interface board in this way facilitates wiring between the main body and a second external device close to where the main body is installed. For example, if the main body is installed on a door, wiring between the main body and a second external device, such as a sensor installed on the door, is facilitated. Furthermore, providing the external terminal on the interface board facilitates wiring within the main body and improves assembly.
[0011] Furthermore, it is preferable that the interface board is located laterally outboard of the emergency power supply unit. That is, it is preferable that the interface board and the emergency power supply unit are arranged in this order from the edge. This arrangement facilitates wiring of signal lines and power lines within the main body, further improving assembly and preventing the main body from becoming larger. Because the interface board is located at the very edge, it becomes even easier to wire signal lines between the main body and external devices.
[0012] Furthermore, the emergency power supply unit preferably includes a secondary battery and a battery holder having an opening facing the interface board, through which the secondary battery is removably attached, and the interface board is preferably arranged to be capable of changing its position between a first position in which it is positioned at the opening of the battery holder and a second position in which it opens the opening of the battery holder. With this configuration, the secondary battery can be removed and replaced from the battery holder by placing the interface board in the second position, which provides excellent maintainability. Furthermore, placing the interface board in the first position can save space.
[0013] Furthermore, it is preferable that the main body includes a main body cover that covers the drive unit and the control unit, and a board cover that covers the interface board, and that the board cover is covered by the main body cover. Since the board cover is disposed between the main body cover and the interface board, the wiring to the interface board is less affected when the main body cover is attached or detached. This makes it easy to open and close the main body cover, and provides excellent maintainability. [Effects of the Invention]
[0014] As described above, since the emergency power supply unit is provided in the main body, there are fewer restrictions on wiring the power lines to the main body. Furthermore, since the interface board is provided in the main body, wiring inside the main body is simplified, resulting in excellent assembly. Furthermore, since the interface board and the emergency power supply unit are located together at one end of the main body in the left-right direction, wiring is simplified and the main body can be prevented from becoming too large. [Figure 9] FIG. [Figure 10] FIG. [Figure 11] FIG. [Figure 12] FIG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0016] An electric door opening and closing device according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to Figs. 1 to 12. The electric door opening and closing device electrically opens or closes a door 1. The electric door opening and closing device may be configured to electrically perform only the opening or closing operation of the door 1, or may be configured to electrically perform both the opening and closing operation of the door 1. Fig. 1 shows the overall configuration of the door opening and closing device. Fig. 1 shows a left-opening (left-handed) door 1 as an example, but a right-opening (right-handed) door 1 may also be used. The electric door opening and closing device of this embodiment is compatible with both left- and right-handed doors.
[0017] In this embodiment, the door 1 rotates. The door 1 is rotatably attached to a door frame 2 via hinges (not shown). The door 1 rotates horizontally around a vertical axis. The electric door opening and closing device includes a main body 3 attached to the door 1, a link mechanism 4 connecting the main body 3 and the door frame 2, and a power supply device 5 that supplies power from a commercial power source 9 to the main body 3. The main body 3 is attached to the upper front of the door 1, near the hinge. The main body 3 is attached to the door 1 via a mounting plate 20 (described later). As shown in FIG. 2 , the link mechanism 4 includes an arm 6, a link 7, and a bracket 8.
[0018] <Power supply device 5> The power supply device 5 is disposed between the main body 3 and a commercial power source 9. The power supply device 5 is a power supply path that supplies power to the main body 3. The commercial power source 9 is, for example, an AC 100V power source wired to a building. One end of the power supply device 5 is connected to the commercial power source 9, and the other end is connected to the main body 3.
[0019] The power supply device 5 includes a first cord 10, a junction box 11, an AC adapter 12, and a second cord 13. In this embodiment, the AC adapter 12 is built into the junction box 11. However, the AC adapter 12 may be disposed separately from the junction box 11. The first cord 10 connects the commercial power supply 9 to the AC adapter 12. The first cord 10 includes a power plug 14 at one end. The power plug 14 is inserted into a socket (outlet) of the commercial power supply 9. The socket of the commercial power supply 9 is installed on a wall of a building. The AC adapter 12 is an AC / DC converter that converts AC power input from the commercial power supply 9 into DC power and outputs it. For example, it converts AC 100 V into DC 12 V.
[0020] The relay box 11 is attached near the main body 3. The relay box 11 is attached, for example, to the upper part of the vertical frame 2b of the door frame 2, the upper frame 2a of the door frame 2, or to a wall surface in the vicinity thereof, or in the ceiling. That is, the relay box 11 is attached to a fixed part of the door frame 2, a wall surface, or the like. The relay box 11 is preferably installed on the vertical frame 2b on the rotation axis side (hinge side) of the door 1. A first external terminal 15 is housed in the relay box 11. The first external terminal 15 is an input / output terminal, and is connected to a first external device (not shown). A signal from the first external device is input to the first external terminal 15, and a signal is output to the first external device. The first external device is installed, for example, on the door frame 2, a wall surface, or the like. The first external device may be of various types, but typically it is a monitoring sensor attached to the door frame 2 or the like to detect people, an electric lock, a touch sensor for manually opening and closing the door, a manual switch such as a push button, or a wireless device for receiving or transmitting wireless media such as radio waves or infrared rays.
[0021] The second cord 13 connects the relay box 11 and the main body 3. The end of the second cord 13 on the main body 3 side is preferably detachably connected to the main body 3. In this embodiment, an elastic cord, such as a curl cord (spring cord), is preferably used for the second cord 13. The second cord 13 includes a first power line 16 and a first signal line 17. The first power line 16 consists of two lines, one positive and one negative. The first signal lines 17 are for the first external terminals 15, and the number of the first signal lines 17 corresponds to the number of first external terminals 15, e.g., six. Therefore, the total number of the first power lines 16 and the first signal lines 17 is, e.g., eight.
[0022] As shown in FIG. 12 , the end of the second cord 13 facing the main body 3 is provided with an end attachment portion 13a for detachably attaching it to the main body 3. The end attachment portion 13a is detachably attached to a cord stay 57 of the main body 3, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 . The end attachment portion 13a has an engagement groove 13b as an engagement portion. The cord stay 57 has an engagement protrusion 57a extending in the front-rear direction that engages with the engagement groove 13b. The end attachment portion 13a can be easily attached to the cord stay 57 by sliding the end attachment portion 13a in the front-rear direction relative to the cord stay 57 to engage the engagement protrusion 57a with the engagement groove 13b. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 12 , the first signal line 17 and the first power line 16 extend a predetermined length from the end attachment portion 13a, and the male portion 61a of the first connector 61 is attached to the extended end. The first signal line 17 and the first power line 16 are collectively attached to the male portion 61a of the first connector 61.
[0023] <Main body 3> 3 shows the main body 3, the second cord 13, and the relay box 11. The main body 3 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape that is long in the left-right direction. The left-right direction is the radial direction with respect to the rotation axis of the door 1. The main body 3 includes a mounting plate 20 for mounting the main body 3 to the door 1, a main body unit 21 that is mounted on the mounting plate 20, and a main body cover 22 that covers the main body unit 21.
[0024] A first signal line 17 for transmitting and receiving signals to and from a first external device and a first power line 16 for receiving power from an external source are connected to the main body 3. In this embodiment, as described above, the second cord 13 includes the first signal line 17 and the first power line 16, but the first power line 16 and the first signal line 17 may be provided separately. The main body 3 has a signal line connection portion to which the first signal line 17 is connected, and a power line connection portion to which the first power line 16 is connected. In this embodiment, both the signal line connection portion and the power line connection portion are provided on an interface board 50, which will be described later.
[0025] <Mounting plate 20> FIG. 4 shows the main body 3 with the main body cover 22 removed. The mounting plate 20, together with the main body cover 22, constitutes the outer shell (casing) of the main body 3. The outer shell of the main body 3 is composed of six walls, with the mounting plate 20 constituting the rear wall of the six walls of the outer shell. The mounting plate 20 covers the rear of the main unit 21. The mounting plate 20 is rectangular and elongated in the left-right direction. The mounting plate 20 has screw insertion holes (not shown) formed therein for screwing to the door 1, and can be attached to both left-hand and right-hand doors 1. The mounting plate 20 has screw holes (not shown) formed therein for attaching the main unit 21. The main unit 21 is attached to the mounting plate 20 from the main unit 21 side with a total of four main body mounting screws 23. Cover mounting members 34 for detachably attaching the main body cover 22 are attached to the left and right ends of the mounting plate 20, respectively. The main body cover 22 can be engaged with and detached from the left and right cover attachment members 34 .
[0026] <Main unit 21> The main unit 21 is equipped with a drive shaft 24 that rotates about an axis in the vertical direction as the door 1 rotates. One end of an arm 6 is connected to the upper end of the drive shaft 24. The arm 6 rotates integrally with the drive shaft 24 around the drive shaft 24. The other end of the arm 6 is rotatably connected to one end of a link 7, and the other end of the link 7 is rotatably connected to a bracket 8. The bracket 8 is attached to the upper frame 2a of the door frame 2.
[0027] The main unit 21 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape that is elongated in the left-right direction. The main unit 21 includes a drive unit 30 (drive section) that opens and closes the door 1 by driving the drive shaft 24, a control unit 31 (control section) that controls the drive unit 30, an interface unit 32 (interface section) that is disposed between the second cord 13 and the control unit 31 and relays the second cord 13 and the control unit 31, and an emergency power supply unit 33 (emergency power supply section) that receives power from the power supply device 5 and supplies power to the control unit 31 in the event of a power outage. The control unit 31 and the drive unit 30 are attached to the front surface (front face) of the mounting plate 20. The control unit 31, the drive unit 30, the emergency power supply unit 33, and the interface unit 32 are arranged side by side in the left-right direction, and in the case of a left-opening specification, they are arranged in this order from the right side as viewed from the front. That is, the control unit 31 is located on the far right, the drive unit 30 is located to the left of the control unit 31, the emergency power supply unit 33 is located to the left of the drive unit 30, and the interface unit 32 is located to the left of the emergency power supply unit 33. In other words, the control unit 31 is located at the far right end (opposite the hinge side, door front side), and the interface unit 32 is located at the far left end (hinge side, door rear side). Note that in a right-opening specification, this order is reversed.
[0028] <Drive unit 30> The drive unit 30 occupies most of the main unit 21. The drive unit 30 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape that is long in the left-right direction. The drive unit 30 includes a drive shaft 24 and a motor (not shown) for driving the drive shaft 24. The drive shaft 24 is provided to the left of the drive unit 30. The motor is located between the drive shaft 24 and the control unit 31. The motor is, for example, a brushless DC motor.
[0029] <Control Unit 31> The control unit 31 drives and controls the motor. The control unit 31 is located on the right side of the drive unit 30, opposite the drive shaft 24. The length of the control unit 31 in the left-right direction is shorter than that of the drive unit 30. The control unit 31 is approximately cubic. The control unit 31 is attached to the drive unit 30. However, the control unit 31 may be attached to the mounting plate 20 instead of the drive unit 30.
[0030] <Main body cover 22> The body cover 22 covers the front side (front surface) of the main unit 21 attached to the front surface of the mounting plate 20. The body cover 22 has a front surface, an upper surface, a lower surface, and left and right side surfaces, and the rear surface is open. The body cover 22 constitutes the remaining five walls of the outer casing of the main body 3, excluding the rear wall. The body cover 22 is detachably attached to the main unit 21 by engaging and disengaging with the cover attachment member 34 provided on the mounting plate 20, and covers the front, upper surface, lower surface, and both left and right side surfaces of the main unit 21. The body cover 22 may be composed of a single member, but in this embodiment, it is composed of multiple members. Specifically, the body cover 22 includes a front cover 22a, a top cover 22b, a left side cover 22c, and a right side cover 22d.
[0031] <Interface unit 32 and emergency power supply unit 33> The interface unit 32 and emergency power supply unit 33 are arranged together on the left side of the drive unit 30. The interface unit 32 and emergency power supply unit 33 are located on the left and right opposite sides of the control unit 31, with the drive unit 30 at the center, and are located at the left end of the main unit 21. The emergency power supply unit 33 is close to the drive unit 30, and the interface unit 32 is far from the drive unit 30. In other words, from the left, the interface unit 32, emergency power supply unit 33, and drive unit 30 are arranged in this order, with the emergency power supply unit 33 located between the interface unit 32 and the drive unit 30.
[0032] <Emergency Power Supply Unit 33> The emergency power supply unit 33 includes a secondary battery 40, a battery holder 41 that holds the secondary battery 40, and a battery board 42 that charges and discharges the secondary battery 40. As shown in FIGS. 5 and 11 , the battery holder 41 is detachably attached to the drive unit 30 via an L-shaped bracket 43. When viewed from the left to right, the battery holder 41 and the drive unit 30 have substantially the same outline. The battery holder 41 houses the secondary battery 40. The battery holder 41 is tray-shaped with an opening 41a that faces left. The surface of the battery holder 41 facing the opening 41a is the front side, and the opposite side is the back side. The back side of the battery holder 41 faces right, i.e., toward the drive unit 30, and is screwed to the bracket 43. The secondary battery 40 is detachably attached to the battery holder 41 through the opening 41a. FIG. 9 shows a state in which the secondary battery 40 is attached to the battery holder 41, and FIG. 10 shows a state in which the secondary battery 40 has been removed from the battery holder 41.
[0033] The secondary batteries 40 are, for example, AA or AAA nickel-metal hydride batteries. A plurality of secondary batteries 40 are arranged in a front-to-back configuration in the battery holder 41. The number of secondary batteries 40 is arbitrary, but in this embodiment, five secondary batteries 40 are arranged. The secondary batteries 40 are arranged with their axes aligned vertically.
[0034] The battery board 42 controls switching between charging and discharging the secondary battery 40. The battery board 42 charges the secondary battery 40 when electricity is on (normal operation) and not during a power outage, and discharges the secondary battery 40 during a power outage to supply power to the control unit 31. The battery board 42 is attached to the back surface of the battery holder 41 as shown in FIGS. 5 and 11 . The battery board 42 is arranged parallel to the back surface of the battery holder 41. The size of the battery board 42 is set so that it does not protrude from the battery holder 41 in the up-down and front-to-back directions. The female portion 64b of a fourth connector 64 for power supply and the female portion 65b of a fifth connector 65 for power output are mounted on the top and bottom of the battery board 42, protruding to the right. The female portion 64b of the fourth connector 64 and the female portion 65b of the fifth connector 65 are arranged above and below the bracket 43, respectively, and protrude toward the drive unit 30. The fourth connector 64 and the fifth connector 65 are arranged using the excess space of the drive unit 30 that exists above and below the bracket 43, respectively.
[0035] <Interface Unit 32> The interface unit 32 is detachably attached to the emergency power supply unit 33. The interface unit 32 includes an interface board 50 to which the first signal line 17 of the second cord 13 is connected, and a board holder 51 that holds the interface board 50. The board holder 51 is detachably attached to the front side of the battery holder 41. The board holder 51 is smaller than the battery holder 41 in the up-down and front-to-back directions. The board holder 51 is attached to the board holder 51 with its back surface facing the secondary battery 40. The board holder 51 covers most of the opening 41a of the battery holder 41. When the board holder 51 is attached to the battery holder 41, most of the opening 41a of the battery holder 41 is closed by the board holder 51, making it impossible to remove the secondary battery 40 from the battery holder 41. When the board holder 51 is removed from the battery holder 41, the opening 41a of the battery holder 41 is exposed. That is, the board holder 51 is capable of changing its position between a first position in which it is positioned in the opening 41a of the battery holder 41, preventing the secondary battery 40 from being inserted or removed from the battery holder 41, and a second position in which it opens the opening 41a of the battery holder 41 and allows the secondary battery 40 to be inserted or removed from the battery holder 41. An engagement hole 52 is formed in the upper part of the side wall of the battery holder 41, and an engagement protrusion 53 formed on the upper part of the board holder 51 engages with this engagement hole 52. A lower mounting portion 54 is formed in the lower part of the board holder 51, and a holder support portion 45 is formed in the lower part of the side wall of the battery holder 41. The lower mounting portion 54 of the board holder 51 is placed above the holder support portion 45 of the battery holder 41 and is screwed in from below.
[0036] Mounting bases 56 are provided at two locations, front and rear, on the surface of the board holder 51. A cord stay 57 is detachably attached to the mounting base 56. In the left-hand opening type, the cord stay 57 is screwed to the rear mounting base 56. In the right-hand opening type, the cord stay 57 is screwed to the front mounting base 56.
[0037] The interface board 50 relays between the first external device and the control unit 31. The interface board 50 is attached to the surface of the board holder 51. The size of the interface board 50 is set so that it does not protrude in the up-down and front-back directions from the board holder 51 and the battery holder 41. The interface board 50 is located on the left side of the board holder 51.
[0038] The interface board 50 is mounted with a female portion 61b of a first connector 61, a female portion 62b of a second connector 62 for power, a female portion 63b of a third connector 63 for signals, and a second external terminal 67 to which a second external device (not shown) can be connected. The male portion 61a of the first connector 61 described above is inserted into the female portion 61b of the first connector 61. The female portion 61b of the first connector 61 is a signal line connection portion and a power line connection portion. The female portion 62b of the second connector 62 and the female portion 63b of the third connector 63 are arranged on the upper part of the interface board 50.
[0039] The interface board 50 and the battery board 42 are electrically connected by a second power line 70. The male portion 62a of the second connector 62 is attached to one end of the second power line 70, and the male portion 64a of the fourth connector 64 is attached to the other end. The male portion 62a of the second connector 62 is inserted into the female portion 62b of the second connector 62 provided on the upper part of the interface board 50. The male portion 64a of the fourth connector 64 is inserted into the female portion 64b of the fourth connector 64 provided on the upper part of the battery board 42. As shown in FIGS. 5 and 7 , wiring is performed between the interface board 50 and the battery board 42 via the upper part of the battery holder 41, and power is supplied to the battery board 42 via the interface board 50. A cord guide 66 is provided at the upper end of the battery holder 41. The second power line 70 is routed to pass under the cord guide 66.
[0040] Power is supplied from the battery board 42 to the control unit 31. A third power line 71 is wired between the battery board 42 and the control unit 31. The male part 65a of the fifth connector 65 is attached to one end of the third power line 71. The male part 65a of the fifth connector 65 is inserted into the female part 65b of the fifth connector 65 provided at the bottom of the battery board 42. The third power line 71 passes through the bottom of the drive unit 30 and is connected to the control unit 31. In this way, power supplied from outside the main body 3 is supplied from the interface board 50 to the control unit 31 via the battery board 42.
[0041] A second signal line 72 is wired between the interface board 50 and the control unit 31. A male part 63a of a third connector 63 is attached to one end of the second signal line 72. The male part 63a of the third connector 63 is inserted into a female part 63b of the third connector 63 provided on the upper part of the interface board 50. The second signal line 72, together with the second power line 70, is wired to pass under the cord guide 66. The second signal line 72, together with the third power line 71, passes under the drive unit 30 and is connected to the control unit 31.
[0042] The second external terminal 67 is an input / output terminal, similar to the first external terminal 15. The second external terminal 67 is an external terminal on the main body 3 side, and is connected to a second external device that is different from the first external device described above. The second external device is attached to the door 1, for example. The second external device is, for example, a monitoring sensor attached to the door 1 that detects people, etc., or a wireless device that receives or transmits wireless media such as radio waves or infrared rays. Two power lines (positive and negative) and four signal lines (not shown) can be connected to the second external terminal 67. Power is supplied to the second external device connected to the second external terminal 67 via the interface board 50.
[0043] The main unit 21 is equipped with a board cover 68. The board cover 68 covers the interface board 50. Figure 8 shows the board cover 68 in a standalone state. The board cover 68 is detachably attached to the surface of the battery holder 41 and covers the interface board 50 from the left side. Figure 6 shows the board cover 68 attached to the battery holder 41. The board cover 68 is provided with cover protrusions 69. The cover protrusions 69 are provided in three locations: one at the top and two at the bottom (not shown). However, the arrangement and number of the cover protrusions 69 are arbitrary. The side wall of the battery holder 41 is provided with cover engagement holes 44 at one location at the top and two locations at the bottom, into which the cover protrusions 69 engage. The board cover 68 can be attached to the battery holder 41 by engaging the cover protrusions 69 with the cover engagement holes 44.
[0044] During maintenance, for example, to replace the secondary battery 40, the body cover 22 is removed from the main body 3. By releasing the engagement of the body cover 22 with the cover attachment member 34, the body cover 22 can be easily removed without using hand tools. The interface board 50 is covered by the board cover 68. Therefore, damage to or disconnection of the signal lines and power lines can be prevented when removing or attaching the body cover 22. Next, the board cover 68 is removed from the battery holder 41. The board cover 68 can also be easily removed without using hand tools by releasing the engagement of the board cover 68 with the battery holder 41. In this way, the body cover 22 and the board cover 68 can be attached and removed without using hand tools. Next, the board holder 51 is removed from the battery holder 41, and the secondary battery 40 is removed and replaced through the opened opening 41a of the battery holder 41.
[0045] The main body unit 21 can be changed to a right-opening type by rotating it 180 degrees around a vertical axis, thereby flipping it front to back, and attaching it to the mounting plate 20. The main body cover 22 can be changed to a right-opening type by rotating the second main body cover 22 180 degrees around a vertical axis, thereby flipping it upside down (front to back).
[0046] As described above, since the emergency power supply unit 33 is provided in the main unit 21, maintenance is easy. Furthermore, since the emergency power supply unit 33 is disposed at one end of the main unit 21 in the left-right direction, the dimensions of the main unit 3 in the front-to-rear direction and the up-to-down direction can be reduced while the dimensions in the left-to-right direction can be managed. Therefore, a good appearance of the main unit 3 can be maintained. Furthermore, since the emergency power supply unit 33 is disposed at one end of the main unit 21 in the left-to-right direction, wiring to the emergency power supply unit 33 is easy.
[0047] Furthermore, an interface unit 32 is provided together with an emergency power supply unit 33 at one end in the left-right direction of the main unit 21. Because the interface board 50 is provided in the main unit 21, the configuration and arrangement of the control unit 31 in the main unit 21 is simplified. In particular, the interface unit 32 and the emergency power supply unit 33 are arranged together at one end in the left-right direction of the main unit 21, and the control unit 31 is arranged at the other end in the left-right direction of the main unit 21, which simplifies the layout of the main unit 21.
[0048] Arranging the interface board 50 and the emergency power supply unit 33 together at one end of the main unit 21 in the left-right direction facilitates wiring with the first signal line 17 of the second cord 13 and with the first power line 16 of the second cord 13. This prevents the main unit 21 from becoming too large, and also improves ease of assembly.
[0049] The first power line 16 and the first signal line 17 of the second cord 13 are connected together to the interface board 50 by the first connector 61. This simplifies wiring to the main body 3. A second external terminal 67 is mounted on the interface board 50. This means that when a second external device is connected to the second external terminal 67, power can be easily supplied to the second external device via the interface board 50. The interface board 50 is disposed at one end of the main unit 21 in the left-right direction, so wiring between the second external device is also easy. The provision of the second external terminal 67 on the interface board 50 simplifies wiring inside the main body 3, improving the ease of assembly of the main unit 21.
[0050] Furthermore, because the interface board 50 is disposed outboard of the emergency power supply unit 33 in the left-right direction, wiring of the first signal line 17 and the first power line 16 to the interface board 50 is facilitated. Wiring to the second external terminal 67 is also facilitated. By connecting the interface board 50 and the battery board 42 with the second power line 70, power can be easily supplied to the battery board 42 via the interface board 50. By using the second connector 62 and the fourth connector 64, wiring between the interface board 50 and the battery board 42 is also facilitated.
[0051] The thickness direction (normal direction) of the battery board 42 and the thickness direction of the interface board 50 are both in the left-right direction, and the battery board 42 and the interface board 50 are arranged parallel to each other, thereby reducing the left-right dimension. Furthermore, the axis direction of the secondary battery 40 is in the up-down direction, and multiple secondary batteries 40 are arranged front-to-back, thereby reducing the left-right dimension. Furthermore, the board holder 51 is recessed inside the battery holder 41, thereby reducing the left-right dimension. Furthermore, the board cover 68 is attached to the battery holder 41, not the board holder 51, thereby simplifying the configuration of the board holder 51 and reducing the left-right dimension. Furthermore, the battery board 42 is positioned between the drive unit 30 and the battery holder 41, which facilitates the placement of the interface board 50. Because the battery board 42 is attached to the back surface of the battery holder 41, the emergency power supply unit 33 can be easily assembled as a unit, resulting in excellent assembly ease.
[0052] The first power line 16 may be connected to the battery board 42 instead of the interface board 50. The axial direction of the secondary battery 40 is described as being vertical, but it may be longitudinal or horizontal. The opening 41a of the battery holder 41 faces left, but it may face downward or upward. The emergency power supply unit 33 and the interface unit 34 are disposed on the opposite side of the control unit 31, but they may be disposed on the same side as the control unit 31.
