Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] This invention relates to emulsified cosmetics. [Background technology]

[0002] Traditionally, emulsified cosmetics have been used as makeup bases, foundations, sunscreens, etc. Of these, sunscreens often contain organic UV absorbers (for example, Patent Document 1), but organic UV absorbers are also sometimes included in makeup cosmetics such as makeup bases and foundations. For example, Patent Document 2 describes a liquid foundation that contains, in addition to powdered anhydrous silicic acid and lauryl PEG-9 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethicone, ethylhexyl paramethoxycinnamate and diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate as organic ultraviolet absorbers. [0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Publication No. 2014-19688 [Patent Document 2] Japanese Patent Publication No. 2017-186305 [Overview of the Initiative] [Problems that the invention aims to solve]

[0004] In emulsified cosmetics containing anhydrous silicic acid, nonionic surfactants, and organic UV absorbers, there were issues such as insufficient absorption into the skin during application, resulting in poor skin smoothness during application and poor adhesion to the skin after application. Furthermore, it was difficult to achieve a fresh feeling on the skin during application, and the finish was unnatural, making the skin appear dull.

[0005] The present invention relates to providing an emulsified cosmetic that provides a feeling of freshness and smoothness to the skin during application, and a feeling of closeness to the skin after application, resulting in a smooth, uniform, and bright finish. [Means for solving the problem]

[0006] The inventors have found that an emulsified cosmetic product, which combines an organic ultraviolet absorber and a nonionic surfactant with a nonvolatile oil having an IOB value of less than 0.1 (0.01% to 8% by mass relative to the total mass of the emulsified cosmetic product) and surface-coated particles in which part or all of the surface of spherical composite particles is coated with a metal oxide and anhydrous silicic acid, provides a feeling of freshness and smoothness to the skin during application, and a feeling of adhesion to the skin after application, resulting in a smooth, uniform, and bright finish without unevenness.

[0007] The present invention comprises the following components (A), (B), (C), and (D): (A) Surface-coated particles in which part or all of the surface of spherical composite particles is coated with a metal oxide and anhydrous silicic acid. (B) Nonionic surfactants (C) Organic UV absorber (D) Non-volatile oils with an IOB value of less than 0.1: 0.01% to 8% by mass relative to the total mass of the emulsified cosmetic. This relates to emulsified cosmetics containing [a specific ingredient]. [Effects of the Invention]

[0008] The emulsified cosmetic composition of the present invention provides a feeling of freshness and smoothness to the skin during application, and a feeling of closeness to the skin after application, resulting in a smooth, even, and bright finish. [Modes for carrying out the invention]

[0009] <Ingredient (A)> The emulsified cosmetic of the present invention contains (A) surface-coated particles in which part or all of the surface of spherical composite particles is coated with a metal oxide and silicic anhydride. Therefore, smoothness of the skin can be felt during application, and a feeling of adhesion to the skin can be felt after application. The surface-coated particles of the component (A) have spherical composite particles as the core (base material particles), and part or all of the surface of the spherical composite particles is coated with both a metal oxide and silicic anhydride. The "spherical" in the above spherical composite particles includes a perfect sphere, a substantially spherical shape, and an ellipsoid of revolution, and may be a spherical powder having irregularities on the surface.

[Examples]

[0059] The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited to these examples.

[0060] Examples 1-8, Comparative Examples 1-3 We manufactured water-in-oil emulsion cosmetics (liquid foundations) with the compositions shown in Table 1, and evaluated their freshness on the skin during application, smoothness on the skin during application, adherence to the skin, brightness of the finish (tone-up effect), and uniformity of the finish. The results are also shown in Table 1.

[0061] (Manufacturing method) Each water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic (liquid foundation) was obtained by adding a powder phase component containing component (A) to an oil phase component containing components (B), (C), and (D) in Table 1, mixing them, then adding an aqueous phase component, and stirring with a homomixer.

[0062] (Evaluation method) Five expert panelists applied each water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic (liquid foundation) to their skin using a sponge and performed sensory evaluations based on the following criteria: skin freshness during application, skin smoothness during application, adherence to the skin, brightness of the finish (tone-up effect), and uniformity of the finish. The evaluation results are shown in Table 1 as the sum of the five panelists' scores. A higher sum indicates a better evaluation. In this specification, "high adhesion" means that the water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic (liquid foundation in the examples) blends easily with the skin and has high adhesion, which is an important performance characteristic for the finish of the makeup.
