Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] This invention relates to a label to be attached to a region with a limited area with respect to the amount of information to be displayed.
Background Art
[0002] Labels for attaching to articles to display information are used in various applications. For example, containers such as bottles filled with drugs are required to describe not only their names but also detailed ingredient ratios, cautions, etc. In such cases, if there is a large amount of information to be described, the characters may become too small to read, or it may not be possible to describe all the information. Therefore, it has been considered to describe information in an area wider than the attached surface by attaching a label.
[0003] Patent Document 1 proposes a label to be attached to the outer cylinder of a syringe barrel. In addition to a label body to be attached to the outer cylinder, a label having a deployable part that can be peeled off from the label body and deployed and is non-detachable is shown.
[0004] Patent Document 2 proposes a label to be attached to one side of a box. Another label substrate 12 is laminated on one label substrate 11. The one label substrate 11 and the other label substrate 12 are adhered by an adhesive layer 13 along the edge of one side. Also, along the edge of the side opposite to this one side, there is a portion where an adhesive layer 14 and a release agent layer 15 are laminated, and a large amount of information can be displayed in a spread-out manner by opening from this side (0028, 0029). After reading, the adhesive layer 14 and the release agent layer 15 can be temporarily adhered and returned to their original state.
[0005] Patent Document 3 proposes a double label in which, after writing on the surface of a first label material, a transparent special film made of PET and treated with a silicone compound is attached, and on top of that, a second label material that can be lifted from the transparent special film is attached.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0007] However, the label described in Patent Document 1 does not reattach after peeling (paragraph 0017 of the same document), and it is not suitable for applications where the label is returned and the container is reused after information is confirmed.
[0008] In the label described in Patent Document 2, the temporarily attached portion is limited to the adhesive layer 14 formed at the edge of one side, and there is a problem that the adhesive strength here is likely to decrease. Furthermore, in order to make it easier to roll with a fingernail, processing such as forming the adhesive layer narrower than the release agent layer, protruding the second label base material located on the upper side from the first label base material located on the lower side, or cutting off any corner has been proposed (Patent Document 2
[0035] ), but doing so will further reduce the temporarily attached area, resulting in problems with durability and an increased risk of not being able to return to the original state while remaining peeled off.
[0009] In the label described in Patent Document 3, the label becomes bulky and is considered difficult to bend, and it is not suitable for attachment and use on curved surfaces such as the sides of bottles and flasks where a large amount of information needs to be described.
[0010] In addition, for attachment and use on medicine bottles and the like used for mass-produced drugs, it was required to be compatible with an automatic labeling machine.
[0011] Therefore, the object of this invention is to provide a label that consists of multiple layers with information printed on it, can be peeled off to view the information and then reattached, has a durable adhesive force that lasts easily, and can be easily attached to curved surfaces.
Means for Solving the Problem
[0012] This invention is a surface sheet having a first display surface on the surface side, a base material sheet that is attached to the object to be pasted and has a second display surface on the surface side opposite to the object to be pasted, one or more intermediate sheets disposed between the base material sheet and the surface sheet and having a third display surface on the surface side, and a laminated label in which they are laminated, the surface sheet, the intermediate sheet, and the base material sheet are fixed in one fixed region, the surface sheet, the intermediate sheet, and the base material sheet have an adhesive layer on the surface facing the object to be pasted, for the portions other than the fixed region, the intermediate sheet and the base material sheet have a silicone varnish layer on the surface side, the portions other than the strip-shaped portion are laminated labels in which the silicone varnish layer and the adhesive layer are adhered and can be re-adhered after peeling, thus solving the above problems.
[0013] In the laminated label according to this invention, information can be printed on all of the first display surface, the second display surface, and the third display surface located on the surface side, and information can be printed using an area that is at least about three times the pasting area. The portion where the adhesive layer directly contacts the lower sheet is in a state where the sheets cannot be easily peeled off while being laminated, and this becomes the fixed region where the sheets are fixed. The adhesive layer of the portion other than the fixed region is in contact with the silicone varnish layer of the lower sheet, so although it is adhered, it cannot be easily peeled off and can be re-adhered after peeling. The silicone varnish layer can be formed of a varnish having a silicone resin, is easy to bend, and can function suitably even when attached to a curved surface.
[0014] A form can be adopted in which the surface sheet and the intermediate sheet have a varnish layer facing the silicone varnish layer at the corner in contact with the edge of the sheet. Due to this varnish layer, the adhesive strength between the sheets decreases only between the varnish layer and the silicone varnish layer facing each other at this corner. As a result, it becomes possible to easily start peeling by hooking a finger or a nail on this corner. By reducing the adhesive strength only in a limited part of the corner by the varnish layer and keeping the adhesive strength of the other parts, it becomes easier to maintain the overall adhesive strength.
Effect of the Invention
[0015] According to this device, a display surface with an area about three times or more the area of the region where the laminated label is pasted can be provided to the object to which it is pasted. To check the description on the surface other than the first display surface of the surface sheet, the surface sheet or the intermediate sheet can be turned over. Since the adhesive layer and the silicone varnish layer face each other, the adhesive strength is weak, and it is easy to peel the sheets from each other when turning them over. After turning it over, the sheet is returned, but since the sheets are adhered to each other over the entire part other than the fixed region, even if the adhesive strength is reduced by the silicone varnish layer, the adhesion of the entire sheet can be maintained even if it is peeled several times. In addition, since it can be formed as a thin and easily bendable label, it can be used by being pasted on the outer surfaces of boxes and medicine bottles of medicines that are mass-produced and compatible with an automatic labeling machine.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0017] Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to embodiments. The present invention is a laminated label with information described on the display surface. By attaching this laminated label to an object to be targeted, not only the information described on the surface of the surface sheet but also the information described on the surface of the laminated sheet can be attached to the object to be targeted. That is, it is a label that can hold a large amount of information to be attached to the object to be targeted.
[0018] The structure of the laminated label 10 according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described in accordance with the process of manufacturing by laminating using FIG. 1. The laminated label 10 is laminated with at least three sheets, namely a surface sheet 11, a base material sheet 12, and an intermediate sheet 13. Hereinafter, when referring to each sheet, these sheets are meant. The state before laminating each sheet is shown in FIG. 1(a). It is desirable that the size and shape of each sheet are the same, or that the surface sheet 11 side (lower side in the figure) is smaller than the base material sheet 12 side. It is not necessary to be exactly the same, and the sizes may be slightly different for ease of peeling, but it is desirable that the difference is such that they can be regarded as having substantially the same shape as a label. On the other hand, when the sizes are different, as the surface sheet 11 side sheet becomes smaller, a part of the base material sheet 12 side sheet can be seen without peeling a part, and a part that looks like a staircase can be used as a heading, or information spanning multiple sheets can be described.
[0019] Starting from the release paper 1 or the side closer to the object to be pasted, the base material sheet 12, the intermediate sheet 13, and the surface sheet 11 are laminated in this order. In the present invention, the upper side or the surface side refers to the side close to the surface of the surface sheet 11, and the lower side refers to the side close to the release paper 1 or the object to be pasted. A plurality of intermediate sheets 13 may be further laminated. The figure shows an embodiment in which there is one intermediate sheet 13, but the present invention is not particularly limited thereto. Each sheet may be paper or a plastic sheet. When using paper, white coated paper is particularly preferable as a material with high hiding power. As the plastic sheet, polyethylene terephthalate or the like can be used. In the figure, the sheet itself is shown as a single layer, but it may be composed of multiple layers. Since it is difficult to read the information on the display surface if it is transparent, it is desirable that it is opaque. Also, at least the upper side of each sheet should be a first display surface 51 on the upper surface of the surface sheet 11, a second display surface 52 on the upper surface of the base material sheet 12, and a third display surface 53 on the upper surface of the intermediate sheet 13, on which information such as characters, patterns, and illustrations can be printed. By multi-layeredly writing on these display surfaces, information can be displayed using an area more than about three times the pasting area of the label.
[0020] Each sheet has an adhesive layer on the lower side. That is, an adhesive layer 21 is provided on the lower side of the surface sheet 11, an adhesive layer 22 is provided on the lower side of the base material sheet 12, and an adhesive layer 23 is provided on the lower side of the intermediate sheet 13. Basically, it can be formed by applying an adhesive to each sheet, but the forming method is not particularly limited. The adhesives constituting these adhesive layers have sufficient adhesive strength for each sheet. Also, for the adhesive layer 22 on the lower side of the base material sheet 12, an adhesive having sufficient adhesive strength for the object to be pasted may be employed. The type of adhesive to be used is not particularly limited as long as it is a highly adhesive adhesive. By facing the following silicone varnish layer, it becomes easy to peel regardless of the type of adhesive.
[0021] On the upper sides of the base material sheet 12 and the intermediate sheet 13, there are silicone varnish layers 32 and 33. Basically, it can be formed by applying silicone varnish to each sheet. Silicone varnish is a coatable varnish containing a silicone resin. In addition, it may contain an additive for adjusting the adhesive force together with the silicone varnish. The silicone varnish layers 32 and 33 face the adhesive layer 21 and the adhesive layer 23 respectively and are in contact with them during lamination. Although the adhesive layers 21 and 23 have their adhesive forces reduced with respect to the silicone varnish layers 32 and 33, adhesion is possible. Also, after the silicone varnish layers 32 and 33 and the adhesive layers 21 and 23 are peeled off once, they can still maintain the adhesive force even when adhered again. Also, although having such an effect, since the silicone varnish layer is formed by coating a varnish layer, the thickness does not increase compared to a structure in which a separately silicone resin-processed film is laminated. For this reason, the laminated label according to this invention has a unique effect while laminating multiple layers, is easy to bend, and is easy to attach to a curved surface such as a small glass bottle.
[0022] Further, the silicone varnish layer is formed not on the entire surfaces of the base sheet 12 and the intermediate sheet 13 but at locations other than the fixed region E which is a part of the surface. Therefore, the adhesive layers 21 and 23 are not reduced in adhesive force in the fixed region E and are firmly fixed to the sheet on the lower side. Even if each sheet is turned over, the fixed region E cannot be easily peeled off once. For this reason, each sheet will not be completely peeled off and will remain integral in the fixed region E. It is preferable that the fixed region E is in a strip shape parallel to the edge of the sheet because the peelable portion can be maximally widened, but the shape is not necessarily limited.
[0023] Furthermore, it is desirable to form varnish layers 41 and 43 at the corners which are locations away from the fixed region E and below the adhesive layers 21 and 23. As the varnish for forming the varnish layer, a varnish agent that cannot be used without containing a silicone resin may be used. At the locations where the varnish layers 41 and 43 are present, the adhesive force of the adhesive layers 21 and 23 is further reduced compared to the locations directly facing the silicone varnish layers 32 and 33. Thereby, by hooking a fingernail or the like on the corner provided with the varnish layers 41 and 43, it can be easily peeled off.
[0024] By laminating each sheet with their positions aligned so that these layers are appropriately formed, the laminated label 10 according to this invention can be formed. A cross-sectional view of this laminated label 10 is shown in Fig. 1(b).
[0025] The laminated label 10 according to this invention is peeled off together with the upper side of the adhesive layer 22 from the release paper 1 and pasted onto an object for use. A plan view of the pasted state is shown in Fig. 2(a). A part of the left end of the rectangular label is the fixed area E. In this part of the fixed area E, the surfaces other than the first display surface 51 of the surface sheet 11 remain adhered and cannot be seen. Therefore, the size of the fixed area E is preferably as small as possible within a range sufficient to fix each sheet. Specifically, in the case of a laminated label on a rectangle, it is preferably 10% or less, and more preferably 5% or less, of the total area of the label. However, if the fixed area E is too small, the sheet may be completely peeled off due to inability to withstand the force when peeling, and there is a risk of separation. Therefore, it is preferably 1% or more, and more preferably 2% or more, of the total area of the label.
[0026] In the pasted state, the information described on the first display surface 51, which is the upper surface of the surface sheet 11, is visually recognized by an observer. When trying to check the information described on the other display surfaces 52 to 55, it is necessary to turn over the surface sheet 11 or the intermediate sheet 13 and peel off the part other than the fixed area E. When peeling, it is easy to roll by hooking a finger or a nail on the corner where the varnish layers 41 and 43 are formed. This is because the adhesive force of the adhesive layers 21 and 23 in that part is reduced by the varnish layers 41 and 43. A plan view of the rolled state starting from the corner with the varnish layer 41 is shown in Fig. 2(b).
[0027] Fig. 3(a) shows a perspective view of the state where the surface sheet 11 is peeled off by pinching the corner portion, and Fig. 3(b) shows a cross-sectional view. In the fixed region E, the surface sheet 11 and the intermediate sheet 13 remain adhered, and the surface sheet 11 is not separated. The surface sheet 11 is peeled off together with the adhesive layer 21, and the silicone grease layer 33 is exposed on the upper side of the intermediate sheet 13. The silicone grease layer 33 is transparent, and the information described on the third display surface 53 below it is visually recognized by the observer. Although not shown in the figure, information may also be described on the back surface 54, which is the lower surface of the surface sheet 11, like a display surface. In this case, the information can be visually recognized in a spread-out manner, and the amount of information with respect to the pasting area of the label can be further increased.
[0028] Fig. 4(a) shows a perspective view when the intermediate sheet 13 is further started to be wound. The intermediate sheet 13 has become a portion that is easy to wind, similar to the case of the surface sheet 11, due to the grease layer 43 formed at the corner portion of the lower surface. Fig. 4(b) shows a perspective view of the state where the intermediate sheet 13 is peeled off by pinching this corner portion, and Fig. 4(c) shows a cross-sectional view. In the fixed region E, the intermediate sheet 13 and the base sheet 12 remain adhered, and the intermediate sheet 13 is not separated together with the surface sheet 11. The intermediate sheet 13 is peeled off together with the adhesive layer 23, and the silicone grease layer 32 is exposed on the upper side of the base sheet 12. The silicone grease layer 32 is transparent, and the information described on the second display surface 52 below it is visually recognized by the observer. Although not shown in the figure, information may also be described on the back surface 55, which is the lower surface of the intermediate sheet 13, like a display surface. In this case, the information can be visually recognized in a spread-out manner, and the amount of information with respect to the pasting area of the label can be further increased.
[0029] A second embodiment of the laminated label according to this invention will be described with reference to FIG. 5. In this second embodiment, the position of the fixed region E is different from that in the first embodiment. In the first embodiment, the fixed region E was provided at one end of the rectangular label, but in the second embodiment, it is a strip-shaped region facing the short side direction at the center in the long side direction of the rectangular label. The arrangement is shown in the plan view of FIG. 5(a) and the cross-sectional view of FIG. 5(b). When rolled up, only one of the left and right sides of the third display surface 53 of the intermediate sheet 13 and the second display surface 52 of the base sheet 12 can be limitedly visually recognized. For example, when rolled up like the right side portion of FIG. 5(c), only the right side portion of the third display surface 53 will be newly visually recognized. By shifting the arrangement of the fixed region E to the center in this way, while enabling a plurality of information to be confirmed, the information that can be confirmed can be limited.
[0030] Further, perforations 61, 62 that can be cut may be provided in the surface sheet 11 and the intermediate sheet constituting the laminated label 10. By cutting along the perforations 61, 62, the surface to be displayed without being rolled can be changed from the first display surface 51 to a part or all of the third display surface 53 or the second display surface 52. Thereby, among the information about the object to which the laminated label 10 is attached, the information that can be visually recognized without rolling can be changed midway. When a part of the surface sheet 11 is separated from the perforation 61 like the left side portion of FIG. 5(c), thereafter, a part of the intermediate sheet 13 will remain displayed on the outside.
[0031] The laminated label 10 according to this invention can be suitably used when attached to an article that needs to have a large amount of information attached. For example, the form of being attached to the side of a medicine bottle is shown in Fig. 6. When it is necessary to describe the ingredients, usage, and other necessary information of the medicine in the medicine bottle in several languages, it may not be possible to write them all by simply attaching a single label to a small medicine bottle. By attaching the laminated label 10 according to this invention, information several times or more the area can be described in a limited area, and problems in medicine management can be solved. Not limited to medicine bottles, the laminated label 10 according to this invention is effective for any object with a limited area, such as boxes, files, and bags.
[0032] Embodiment examples in which the size of each sheet of the laminated label according to this invention is gradually reduced toward the surface sheet 11 side are shown in Figs. 7(a) and 7(b). In this embodiment example, the intermediate sheets are stacked in three layers of intermediate sheets 13-1, 13-2, and 13-3, and together with the surface sheet 11 and the base sheet 12, it consists of a total of five layers of sheets. Of course, the number of sheets is not limited to this, and the figure is just an example. The silicone varnish layers 33-1, 33-2, 33-3, the adhesive layers 23-2, 23-2, 23-3, and the varnish layers 43-1, 43-2, 43-3 each sheet has are basically the same as the configurations of the silicone varnish layer 33, the adhesive layer 23, and the varnish layer 43 shown in the embodiment example of Fig. 1. However, the sizes of the upper and lower sheets are different. In this example, as shown in the cross-sectional view of Fig. 7(a), the ends are stepped. That is, each sheet other than the base sheet 12 is smaller than the sheet below it, and a part of the sheet below it always protrudes from the edge of the sheet above it and is exposed. On the surface side of each sheet 12, 13-3, 13-2, 13-1 forming each step, at the part protruding from the edge of the sheet above it, a heading as shown in Fig. 7(b), for example, can be described to indicate guidance about the content described on each sheet. In this example, by describing the description of the medicine in each language on the upper surface of each sheet and writing the guidance heading indicating which language it is on this protruding part, by peeling off the upper sheet written in the language you want to read, the description in the language you want to read can be revealed.
Example
[0033] The following shows an example of actually creating a laminated label for this invention. Sheets were prepared with dimensions of 40 mm in length and 90 mm in width. A synthetic paper made of polypropylene (manufactured by Maru Adhesion Co., Ltd.: MAW) was used for the surface sheet, and white coated paper (manufactured by Maru Adhesion Co., Ltd.: thickness 25 μm) was used for the intermediate sheet and the base material sheet. In accordance with the configuration shown in FIG. 1, an adhesive (manufactured by Maru Adhesion Co., Ltd.: solvent high tack) was applied to the lower side of each sheet to form an adhesive layer. On the other hand, among the upper sides of the intermediate sheet and the base material sheet, a silicone varnish (manufactured by T&K TOKA Co., Ltd.: OP varnish) was applied to the portion other than the strip-shaped fixed region E that is 5 mm from the left end to form a silicone varnish layer. Also, a varnish (a diluted product of Kurai Ink Co., Ltd.'s Carton Medium) was applied to the corner position on the opposite side of the fixed region E to form a varnish layer.
[0034] These were laminated on the release paper in the order of the base material sheet, the intermediate sheet, and the surface sheet, and a load was applied for lamination to complete the laminated label. This laminated label was attached to the circumferential surface of a medicine bottle. This label could be easily peeled off from the corner with the varnish layer, and for the surface sheet and the intermediate sheet, even after performing the operation of peeling off and reattaching the portion other than the fixed region E 30 times, the reattached state could be maintained.
