Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a door hole seal. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, door hole seals have been used to close door holes, which are openings for work or the like, formed in the door inner panel of a vehicle door. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a door hole seal in which a sheet main body is attached to the inside of the door inner panel via a synthetic resin film. Patent Document 2 discloses an automobile door hole seal material including a resin sheet and a sheet-shaped foamed elastic material, and the resin sheet has a through hole formed in a portion corresponding to the tip side in the protruding direction of the impact absorbing member. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2018-2094 A [Patent Document 2] JP 2018-58402 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] Neither the synthetic resin film of Patent Document 1 nor the resin sheet of Patent Document 2 comes into contact with a member that comes into contact with the door hole seal from the inside of the vehicle. In addition, in Patent Document 2, a through hole is provided so that the impact absorbing member does not come into contact with the resin sheet.
[0005] However, when the impact absorbing member comes into contact with the sheet-shaped foamed elastic material, the sheet-shaped foamed elastic material stretches from the contact point. Depending on the amount of stretch, a load may be applied to the welded portion between the door hole seal and the door inner panel, and the welded portion may become misaligned. Patent Document 2 reduces this problem by loosening a portion of the sheet-shaped foamed elastic material, but this requires an additional manufacturing step for loosening the portion, which increases manufacturing costs.
[0006] One aspect of the present invention aims to minimize elongation of the door hole seal caused by a member abutting against the door hole seal. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a door hole seal according to one embodiment of the present invention is a door hole seal that is attached to a door hole formed in a door inner panel of a vehicle door, and comprises a first sheet that blocks the door hole from the inside of the vehicle, and a second sheet that is adhered to the inside of the first sheet, and the inside surface of the second sheet has a smaller coefficient of friction with a specified member that is part of the door and abuts the second sheet from the inside of the vehicle than the inside surface of the first sheet.
[0008] According to the above configuration, the second sheet is bonded to the inside of the first sheet. The second sheet has a smaller coefficient of friction with respect to the predetermined member that contacts the second sheet from the inside of the vehicle than the first sheet. This makes it easier for the predetermined member to slide and move when it contacts the second sheet. Therefore, the contact position between the predetermined member and the door hole seal can be set to a position where the amount of elongation of the first sheet of the door hole seal is minimized. This makes it possible to minimize the elongation of the first sheet of the door hole seal caused by the predetermined member contacting the door hole seal.
[0009] In one embodiment of the door hole seal of the present invention, a movable area is formed in a portion of the second sheet, including a portion that abuts the specified member, and the relative position of the second sheet can be moved relative to the first sheet.
[0010] According to the above configuration, the second sheet has a movement area formed in a portion that contacts the predetermined member. The movement area is capable of moving its relative position with respect to the first sheet when the predetermined member contacts the movement area. Therefore, when the predetermined member contacts the door hole seal, the surface of the second sheet on the vehicle interior side slides, moving the contact position of the predetermined member, and further, the movement area of the second sheet also moves. Therefore, the contact position of the predetermined member with the door hole seal can more easily move to a position where the amount of stretch of the first sheet is minimized.
[0011] In a door hole seal according to one embodiment of the present invention, the moving area may have a connection portion formed on a part of its periphery that connects to a fixed area of the second sheet that is adhered to the first sheet.
[0012] According to the above-mentioned configuration, a part of the periphery of the moving area is connected to the fixed area. In this case, the moving area can be turned up from the periphery of the moving area at the connection part as a base point. This makes it possible to form a moving area in the second sheet whose position relative to the first sheet is movable.
[0013] In the door hole seal according to one aspect of the present invention, the movable region may be releasably connected to the fixed region at at least a portion of the periphery other than the connection portion.
[0014] According to the above configuration, before the specified member is attached to the door, the periphery of the moving area is connected to the fixed area at the connecting portion as well as at other portions. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the moving area from moving unintentionally due to gravity or the like. Then, when the specified member abuts against the moving area, the portion of the periphery of the moving area that is connected to the fixed area becomes detached, and the moving area can be moved in position relative to the first seat.
[0015] In the door hole seal according to one aspect of the present invention, the first sheet may be made of an elastic foam, and the second sheet may be made of a synthetic resin. Effect of the Invention
[0016] According to one aspect of the present invention, it is possible to minimize the elongation of the door hole seal caused by a member abutting against the door hole seal. [Brief description of the drawings]

[Figure 4] FIG. 13 is a diagram showing a portion of a door hole seal according to a modified example of an embodiment. [Diagram 5] FIG. 4 is a diagram showing the position at which the amount of movement of the first seat is evaluated when the door inner panel is viewed from the vehicle interior side in one embodiment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0018] <Outline of door hole seal and installation example> With reference to Fig. 1, an overview and an example of installation of a door hole seal 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the example of Fig. 1, the upper side corresponds to the vertical upper side, the lower side corresponds to the vertical lower side, the right side corresponds to the front side (front side of the vehicle), the left side corresponds to the rear side (rear side of the vehicle), the near side corresponds to the inside side of the vehicle (inside of the vehicle), and the far side corresponds to the outside side of the vehicle (outside of the vehicle). Fig. 1 is a view of a front door D as seen from the inside side of the vehicle. However, this does not limit the direction in which the door hole seal 1 is installed on the vehicle, and the door hole seal 1 may be installed in any direction relative to the vehicle.
[0019] The front door D is an example of a vehicle door, and is attached to a front door opening (not shown) of the vehicle so as to be openable and closable. The front door D includes a door outer panel (not shown) and a door inner panel D1, and a door hole D2 is formed in the door inner panel D1. The door hole D2 is an opening through which a worker can insert his / her hand or tools to assemble various parts arranged inside the front door D, for example. Note that the formation mode of the front door D shown in FIG. 1 is merely one example.
[0020] A door hole seal 1 is attached to the interior surface of the door inner panel D1. The door hole seal 1 blocks the door hole D2 from the inside of the vehicle, thereby preventing rainwater or the like that has entered the inside of the front door D from entering the vehicle interior through the door hole D2.
[0021] 1, the door hole seal 1 includes a first sheet 10 and a second sheet 20. The second sheet 20 is adhered to the vehicle interior surface of the first sheet 10 at an adhesive portion 22 (fixed area). The door hole seal 1 is attached so as to close the door hole D2 by adhering to the vehicle interior surface of the door inner panel D1.
[0022] The door inner panel D1 has a butyl line B which is an adhesive portion between the door hole seal 1 and the door inner panel D1. The second sheet 20 is adhered to the inside of the vehicle of the first sheet 10 so as to include the outer shape of the first sheet 10. The door hole seal 1 is adhered to the butyl line B by a peripheral portion of the second sheet 20 on the outside of the portion overlapping with the first sheet 10. In this specification, "adhesion" includes concepts such as "adhesion", "pressure bonding", and "welding".
[0023] The above-mentioned installation of the door hole seal 1 is merely an example. For example, the vehicle door to which the door hole seal 1 is installed is not limited to the front door D shown in the example of FIG. 1, and may be any type of vehicle door. Therefore, the door hole seal 1 may be installed, for example, in a rear door or a sliding door. In addition, the vehicle to which the door hole seal 1 is installed may be any type of vehicle, including hardtop cars and convertible cars.
[0024] <Door hole seal material> The door hole seal 1 is preferably waterproof and soundproof. The waterproof and soundproof properties of the door hole seal 1 can be adjusted mainly by the materials of the first sheet 10 and the second sheet 20.
[0025] Examples of materials for the first sheet 10 include elastomers and composites containing elastomers. Examples of elastomers include rubbers such as ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) and thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs), and examples of TPEs include olefin-based thermoplastic elastomers (TPOs).
[0026] Moreover, the first sheet 10 is preferably a foamed elastic body obtained by foaming the above-mentioned elastomer or a composite containing an elastomer. With such a configuration, the first sheet 10 can have high soundproofing and waterproofing properties.
[0027] The first sheet 10 made of such a material has a surface that is relatively non-slip. If a specific member that is part of the front door D comes into contact with and is pressed against the surface of the first sheet 10 on the vehicle interior side, there is a risk that the first sheet 10 will be deformed and excessively stretched. Hereinafter, a door trim D3 that is attached to the front door D from the vehicle interior side will be described as an example of the specific member (see FIG. 3).
[0028] The first sheet 10 may stretch with the contact portion where it comes into contact with the door trim D3 as the stretch base point. Because the surface of the first sheet 10 on the inside of the vehicle is made non-slip, the first sheet 10 stretches with the contact portion as the stretch base point. If the stretch base point is close to the position of the butyl line B, the first sheet 10 at the portion where the door trim D3 is pressed stretches while pulling in the butyl line B. This results in a large amount of movement in the adhesion position between the door hole seal 1 and the butyl line B.
[0029] The greater the amount of stretch of the first sheet 10, the stronger the force with which the portion of the door hole seal 1 that is bonded to the butyl line B is pulled toward the stretching base point. This pulling force causes the position of the bonded portion of the door hole seal 1 to the butyl line B to shift. If the bonded portion of the door hole seal 1 to the butyl line B shifts, there is a risk that the soundproofing and / or waterproofing properties of the door hole seal 1 will decrease.
[0030] Here, if the portion of the door hole seal 1 that abuts against the door trim D3 is formed to be more slippery than the surface of the first sheet 10, the extension base point is likely to move to a position where the extension of the first sheet 10 is minimized. This is because as the door trim D3 is pressed against the first sheet 10, the position where the door trim D3 presses against the first sheet 10 can slide and move. This makes it possible to minimize the extension of the first sheet 10 caused by the door trim D3 abutting against the door hole seal 1. The door hole seal 1 according to this embodiment includes a second sheet 20 bonded to the inside surface of the first sheet 10.
[0031] The second seat 20 has an inner surface formed to be more slippery than the inner surface of the first seat 10. In other words, the inner surface of the second seat 20 is a part of the front door D, and has a smaller coefficient of friction with a predetermined member (door trim D3) that contacts the second seat 20 from the inner side of the vehicle than the inner surface of the first seat 10.
[0032] An example of the material of the second sheet 20 is a synthetic resin, and the synthetic resin is preferably a thermoplastic resin. Examples of the thermoplastic resin include PE (polyethylene), PP (polypropylene), PVA (polyvinyl alcohol), and ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene). If the second sheet 20 is made of such a material, the surface of the second sheet 20 on the vehicle interior side can be easily made to be slippery. The material of the second sheet 20 is not particularly limited as long as it is made to have a lower coefficient of friction than the surface of the first sheet 10 on the vehicle interior side.
[0033] According to such a second sheet 20, when the door trim D3 abuts against and is pressed against the second sheet 20, the position where the door trim D3 presses against the first sheet 10 is likely to slide and move. Therefore, the position of the base point of extension of the first sheet 10, which is extended by the door trim D3, can be set to a position where the amount of extension of the first sheet 10 is minimized. Therefore, the adhesive portion of the door hole seal 1 with the butyl line B is less likely to shift. Also, a process of loosening a part of the first sheet 10 in advance in order to reduce the shift of the adhesive portion is not required.
[0034] Such an effect of preventing the adhesive portion from shifting is particularly noticeable when the door trim D3 abuts against the first sheet 10 at a position close to the butyl line B.
[0035] In the door hole seal 1, the size of the second sheet 20 and the position where it is attached to the first sheet 10 are set so as to cover substantially the entire interior surface of the first sheet 10. However, it is sufficient that the second sheet 20 covers at least one of the contact positions of the door trim D3 on the first sheet 10.
[0036] In addition, the predetermined member that abuts against the second seat 20 from the vehicle interior side is not limited to the door trim D3. Depending on the structure of the front door D, any member that is a part of the front door D and abuts against the second seat 20 from the vehicle interior side is intended as the predetermined member.
[0037] The door hole seal 1 can be produced by adhering the second sheet 20 to the vehicle interior surface of the first sheet 10. The first sheet 10 and the second sheet 20 may each be produced by a known method. In addition, the first sheet 10 and / or the second sheet 20 may have an opening such as a slit for inserting a wire or the like therethrough.
[0038] <Skirt section> The second sheet 20 is formed with a skirt portion 21 (movement area). In this manner, in the door hole seal according to one embodiment of the present invention, it is preferable that the second sheet is formed with a skirt portion. The skirt portion 21 will be described in detail with reference to Figs. 2 and 3.
[0039] Fig. 2 is an enlarged view showing the periphery of the skirt portion 21 on the right side of the paper in Fig. 1, showing a state in which the skirt portion 21 is turned up. Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA in Fig. 1, where reference numeral 301 indicates a state immediately before the door trim D3 is attached, and reference numeral 302 indicates a state in which the door trim D3 has been attached. In the example of Fig. 3, the upper side of the paper corresponds to the vertical upper side, the lower side corresponds to the vertical lower side, the right side corresponds to the inside of the vehicle, the left side corresponds to the outside of the vehicle, the near side corresponds to the rear side, and the far side corresponds to the front side.
[0040] As shown in Fig. 3, in the front door D, a door trim D3 constituting a part of the front door D is attached to the inside of the door inner panel D1. The door trim D3 has an uneven surface formed on the outside of the vehicle. At least a part of the portion of the outside of the door trim D3 that protrudes to the outside of the vehicle abuts against the inside of the door hole seal 1.
[0041] In the second sheet 20, the region where the skirt portion 21 is formed preferably includes a portion where the door trim D3 abuts from the inside of the vehicle. The second sheet 20 may be formed with a moving region where the skirt portion 21 is formed and an adhesive portion 22 which is an area that is adhered to the first sheet 10. The adhesive portion 22 can be said to be a fixed region whose relative position with respect to the first sheet 10 is fixed. Note that the region of the second sheet 20 surrounded by the adhesive portion 22 is formed by cutting out the area excluding the portion that will become the skirt portion 21.
[0042] As shown in FIG. 2, the skirt portion 21 is formed by cutting out the area other than the skirt portion 21 so that a part of the second sheet 20 has a skirt shape. In this embodiment, the skirt portion 21 has a rectangular outer shape. The periphery of the skirt portion 21 includes a free portion 21a and a connection portion 21b. The free portion 21a is three sides of the periphery of the skirt portion 21 that are not connected to the adhesive portion 22, other than the vertical upper side. The free portion 21a corresponds to the cut portion of the second sheet 20 that has been cut out.
[0043] The connection portion 21b is one vertically upper side of the periphery of the skirt portion 21 that connects to the adhesive portion 22. In other words, the connection portion 21b can be said to be a part of the periphery of the skirt portion 21, and is one side that is not cut out. The skirt portion 21 can be turned up from the second sheet 20, with the connection portion 21b as the boundary. In other words, the connection portion 21b that connects to the adhesive portion 22 is formed on part of the periphery of the skirt portion 21, and the connection portion 21b is a straight portion of the periphery.
[0044] As shown in Fig. 3, when the door trim D3 abuts against the skirt portion 21 from the inside of the vehicle, the skirt portion 21 is sandwiched between the first sheet 10 and the door trim D3. When the abutting portion of the door trim D3 against the skirt portion 21 is further pushed into the inside of the vehicle, the skirt portion 21 is pressed against the abutting portion and turned up. The abutment position X indicated by reference numeral 301 in Fig. 3 indicates the position where the door trim D3 first abuts against the door hole seal 1 when the door trim D3 is attached to the front door D. At this time, if the door hole seal 1 does not include the second sheet 20, the first sheet 10 will stretch from the abutment position X as the stretch base point and deform into a shape that fits the surface of the door trim D3 on the inside of the vehicle.
[0045] However, the door hole seal 1 includes the second sheet 20. Therefore, when the door trim D3 is further pushed toward the outside of the vehicle, the contact position of the door trim D3 with respect to the door hole seal 1 moves from contact position X to contact position Y. This is because the skirt portion 21 turns up while sliding against the first sheet 10. As a result, the contact position of the door trim D3 with respect to the door hole seal 1 can move to a position where the stretch of the first sheet 10 is minimized.
[0046] In this manner, if the skirt portion 21 is formed on the second sheet 20, the contact position of the door trim D3 with respect to the door hole seal 1 becomes easier to move. This is because not only does the door trim D3 slide on the surface of the second sheet 20 on the inside of the vehicle, but the skirt portion 21 of the second sheet 20 against which the door trim D3 is pressed can also slide and move relative to the first sheet 10.
[0047] Moreover, the skirt portion 21 can be easily formed without significantly increasing the number of manufacturing steps by leaving a part of the inside of the adhesive portion 22 when cutting out a part of the second sheet 20. In this way, the skirt portion 21 can be easily formed at low cost, while effectively reducing the stretch of the first sheet 10 caused by the door trim D3 being pressed against it.
[0048] In this embodiment, the skirt portion 21 is formed by cutting out a part of the second sheet 20. However, the method of forming the skirt portion 21 is not limited to this. For example, the second sheet 20 may be individually attached to each position of the first sheet 10 that is pressed against the door trim D3. In this case, if only one side of the second sheet 20 located on the vertically upper side is attached to the first sheet 10, the second sheet 20 can function in the same way as the skirt portion 21. In this case, it can be said that the part of the second sheet 20 that is attached to the first sheet 10 is the fixed area of the second sheet 20, and the other parts are the moving area.
[0049] <Modification> Various variations are possible for the door hole seal 1 according to this embodiment. A modified example of the door hole seal 1 will be described with reference to Figs.
[0050] (Perforation) In the door hole seal 1 shown in Fig. 1, a skirt portion 21 is also formed on the left side as viewed from the page. This skirt portion 21 has a perforation 22c formed on one side on the side of the adhesive portion 22 formed on the periphery of the second sheet 20. In addition, one side of the skirt portion 21 opposite to the side on which the perforation 22c is formed is adhered to the first sheet 10 by an adhesive portion 22 formed independently of the adhesive portion 22 formed on the periphery of the second sheet 20. In this case, the connection portion 21b of the skirt portion 21 is a part of the periphery of the skirt portion, and can be said to be an area surrounding the independently formed adhesive portion 22.
[0051] The perforations 22c are formed so that the skirt portion 21 can be easily detached from the adhesive portion 22 on the periphery of the second sheet 20. Here, "easily detachable" refers to a state in which, when the door trim D3 abuts against and is pressed against the skirt portion 21, the perforations 21c are torn by the pressing force, so that the skirt portion 21 can be easily detached from the adhesive portion 22. In this manner, at least a part of the skirt portion 21, other than the connection portion 21b, may be connected to the adhesive portion 22 in a detachable manner on the periphery.
[0052] According to this configuration, before the door trim D3 is attached to the front door D, the peripheral edge of the skirt portion 21 is connected to the adhesive portion 22 not only at the connection portion 21b but also at the portion where the perforation 21c is formed. This makes it possible to prevent the skirt portion 21 from being unintentionally turned up due to gravity or the like. When the door trim D3 is abutted against and pressed against the skirt portion 21, the perforation 21c connected to the adhesive portion 22 at the peripheral edge of the skirt portion 21 becomes detached. This allows the skirt portion 21 to be turned up and to move in position relative to the first sheet 10.
[0053] (Perforation variations) Furthermore, another modified example of the skirt portion 21 will be shown with reference to Fig. 4. As shown in Fig. 4, the door hole seal 1-2 according to this modified example has a skirt portion 21-2 having a different configuration from the skirt portion 21. In the example of Fig. 4, the upper side as viewed from the plane of the paper corresponds to the vertically upper side, the lower side corresponds to the vertically lower side, the right side corresponds to the front side, the left side corresponds to the rear side, the near side corresponds to the inside of the vehicle, and the far side corresponds to the outside of the vehicle.
[0054] In the door hole seal 1-2, the second sheet 20-2 is adhered to the surface of the first sheet 10 on the vehicle interior side by an adhesive portion 22-2. In the second sheet 20-2, the skirt portion 21-2 is formed by cutting out the areas vertically above and below the area to be the skirt portion 21-2. The cut-out portion in the second sheet 20-2 corresponds to the free portion 21-2a of the skirt portion 21-2. One side on the rear side of the skirt portion 21-2 is connected to the adhesive portion 22-2 as a connection portion 21-2b.
[0055] In addition, a perforation 21-2c is formed on one side of the front side of the skirt portion 21-2. As shown in Fig. 4, it is preferable that the side on which the perforation 21-2c is formed is shorter than the side constituting the connecting portion 21-2b on the periphery of the skirt portion 21-2. This makes the perforation 21-2c more likely to break due to the force from the door trim D3.
[0056] The peripheral edge of the skirt portion 21-2 may not have the free portion 21-2a. That is, the peripheral edge of the skirt portion 21-2 may be entirely formed of the perforations 21-2c except for the connection portion 21-2b. In this case, the skirt portion 21-2 can be reliably prevented from being unintentionally turned up unless the door trim D3 comes into contact with the skirt portion 21-2 and applies a pressing force. Also, the perforations 21-2c can be prevented from being unintentionally torn by the free portion 21-2a being caught by the worker's hand during the manufacturing of the front door D or other work.
[0057] In addition, the "easily detachable" portion formed on the periphery of the skirt portion 21-2 is not limited to the perforations 21-2c. For example, a portion of the periphery of the skirt portion 21-2 other than the connection portion 21-2b may be temporarily fixed with a tape that peels off easily.
[0058] Although the skirt portion 21-2 is formed in a polygonal shape, the outer shape of the skirt portion is not limited to this. The free portion at the periphery of the skirt portion may be formed in a curved shape, or may be formed in a shape that combines straight lines and curved lines. With this configuration, the skirt portion can be formed in an optimal shape according to the position and shape of the part of the door trim D3 that protrudes toward the outside of the vehicle. EXAMPLES
[0059] A comparative experiment was conducted to compare the movement of the adhesion position where the second sheet 20 is adhered to the butyl line B before and after the door trim D3 is attached to the door hole seal according to an embodiment of the present invention and a comparative example.
[0060] The door hole seal according to the embodiment is the door hole seal 1 shown in FIG. 1, and includes a polyethylene sheet as the second sheet 20. The door hole seal according to the comparative example is different from the door hole seal 1 in that it does not include the second sheet 20 on the inner side of the vehicle, but includes a polyethylene sheet similar to the second sheet 20 on the outer side of the vehicle. In both the door hole seals according to the embodiment and the comparative example, the first sheet 10 is a foamed elastic sheet formed by foaming EPDM. In both the door hole seals according to the embodiment and the comparative example, the part of the polyethylene sheet located on the outer side of the first sheet is bonded to the butyl line B formed on the door inner panel D1.
[0061] In this comparative experiment, each door hole seal was adhered to the door inner panel D1 so as to cover the door hole D2, and then the door trim D3 was attached. After the door trim D3 was attached, the front door D was left at room temperature for 48 hours. Thereafter, the door trim D3 was removed from the front door D, and the movement (millimeters) of the position where each door hole seal was adhered to the butyl line B in the polyethylene sheet was evaluated.
[0062] Fig. 5 is a view of a part of the door inner panel D1 seen from the vehicle interior side. In Fig. 5, the position where the door trim D3 abuts against each door hole seal is shown as abutment position X. The amount of movement was evaluated at each of the evaluation positions P1 to P9. The arrows shown at the evaluation positions P1 to P9 indicate the direction in which the adhesive position of the polyethylene sheet against the butyl line B moves or can move. In the door hole seal 1 according to this embodiment, skirt portions 21 are formed at positions corresponding to the abutment positions X.
[0063] The amount of movement of the adhesion position at each of the evaluation positions P1 to P9 is shown in Table 1. In Table 1, the areas where the amount of movement was 5 mm or more are shown in white.
[0064] [Table 1]
[0065] As shown in Table 1, in the door hole seal according to the comparative example, the movement amount exceeded 5 mm at the evaluation positions P2, P5, and P6, and a large deviation of the adhesion position was confirmed near the abutment position X. On the other hand, in the door hole seal 1 according to the embodiment, the movement amount of the adhesion position was reduced to 2 mm or less at all evaluation positions.
[0066] The above results show that if the door hole seal 1 has the second sheet 20 on the inside surface of the first sheet 10, the amount of stretch of the first sheet 10 caused by the door trim D3 is minimized, and the deviation in the adhesive position between the second sheet 20 and the butyl line B can be reduced.
[0067] [Additional Notes] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments or examples, and various modifications are possible within the scope of the claims.
