AI Technical Summary
Existing fluoropropene compositions used in cleaning solvents are insufficient in cleaning power for removing oil and fat components such as flux, processed oil, and wax during the manufacturing process of electronic and precision parts.
A cleaning composition containing fluoroiodoalkanes, preferably fluoroiodoethane or fluoroiodopropane, is used, which can be combined with other solvents like hydrofluorocarbons, alcohols, or ketones to enhance cleaning power.
The fluoroiodoalkane-based composition exhibits significantly higher cleaning power, effectively removing oil and fat components, and is nonflammable, making it safer for industrial use.

Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a solvent composition that can be used in a wide range of applications, such as a cleaning solvent and a dilution coating solvent. [Background technology]
[0002] Electronic components, precision machinery components, optical components, etc. become contaminated with flux, processing oil, wax, mold release agents, dust, etc. during the manufacturing process, so they are cleaned with cleaning solvents during the manufacturing process, assembly process, final finishing process, etc.
[0003] As a solvent for such applications, for example, compositions containing 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoro-1-propene or 1-chloro-2,3,3-trifluoro-1-propene have been disclosed (Patent Document 1, Patent Document 2). The compositions containing 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoro-1-propene have been found to be non-flammable, have low toxicity, have excellent stability, do not attack substrates such as metals, plastics, and elastomers, and have excellent chemical and thermal stability.
