[Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] US Patent Application Publication No. 2013 / 0280178 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] The invention described in Patent Document 1 uses a hydrofluoroolefin with a boiling point of -19°C and low flammability, taking into consideration safety against fire. However, since the propellant in the invention described in Patent Document 1 has a boiling point of -19°C, when sprayed, most of the propellant evaporates before it adheres to the hair, and although the sprayed particles become fine, they do not adhere well to the hair, and they dry slowly, so the effect of the styling resin cannot be fully obtained.
[0005] The present invention has been made in consideration of such conventional problems, and has an object to provide a hair styling spray composition and hair styling spray product that have excellent drying properties and setting power. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] The present invention, which solves the above problems, mainly includes the following configurations.

[0008] According to this configuration, the hair styling spray composition is likely to form particles of a size that easily adheres to hair, and hydrofluoroolefin is likely to remain in the deposits that adhere to the hair. As a result, the deposits dry in a very short time, and a film of the styling resin is easily formed on the hair, making it easy for the styling resin to exert its effect and easy to obtain excellent setting power. In addition, since the solvent has excellent solubility for the styling resin, the styling resin is unlikely to clog the passages of the valve or spray member.
[0009] (2) The hair styling spray composition according to (1), wherein the content of the hydrofluoroolefin in the hair styling spray composition is 50 to 95 mass %.
[0010] According to this configuration, the hair styling spray composition is likely to provide better drying properties and setting power.
[0011] (3) The hair styling spray composition according to (1) or (2), wherein the mass ratio of the hydrofluoroolefin to the alcohol is 50:50 to 97:3.
[0012] According to this configuration, the hair styling spray composition has particularly excellent drying properties and is likely to provide better setting power.
[0013] (4) A hair styling spray product, comprising the hair styling spray composition according to any one of (1) to (3) and a compressed gas filled in a pressure-resistant container.
[0014] According to this configuration, the hair styling spray product can continuously spray the hair styling spray composition with the pressure of compressed gas. The sprayed particles are easily sprayed in a size that allows them to easily adhere to hair, and are difficult for consumers to inhale. The sprayed hair styling spray composition contains a styling resin and a solvent containing a hydrofluoroolefin and an alcohol having a boiling point of 5 to 40°C. The hair styling spray composition easily adheres to hair. In addition, the deposited matter has excellent drying properties, and the styling resin easily forms a film on the hair, providing excellent setting power.
[0015] (5) A hair styling spray product, comprising the hair styling spray composition according to any one of (1) to (3) filled in a pressurized spray container.
[0016] According to this configuration, the hair styling spray product can spray the hair styling spray composition under pressure. [0018] [Figure 1] FIG. 1 is a photograph of the appearance of a hair bundle after an adhesion test was conducted using the hair styling spray product of Example 1. [Diagram 2] FIG. 2 is a photograph showing the appearance of a hair bundle after an adhesion test was carried out using the hair styling spray product of Comparative Example 1. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0019] <Hair styling spray composition> The hair styling spray composition according to one embodiment of the present invention contains a styling resin and a solvent. The solvent contains a hydrofluoroolefin and an alcohol having a boiling point of 5 to 40° C. Each of them will be described below.
[0020] (styling resin) Styling resins are formulated to set the hair.
[0021] The styling resin is not particularly limited. For example, the styling resin may be an anionic resin such as an acrylic resin alkanolamine liquid, such as (acrylates / diacetoneacrylamide) copolymer AMP, (acrylates / diacetoneacrylamide) copolymer TEA, (acrylates / alkyl acrylate / alkylacrylamide) copolymer AMP, or (acrylates / alkyl acrylate / alkylacrylamide) copolymer TEA; an amphoteric resin, such as a dialkylaminoethyl (meth)acrylate-(meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester copolymer, an acrylic acid octylamide-hydroxypropyl acrylate-butylaminoethyl methacrylate copolymer; a cationic resin, such as vinylpyrrolidone-N,N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylic acid copolymer sulfate, or hydroxyethyl cellulose-dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride; an emulsion type resin, such as an alkyl acrylate copolymer emulsion, or an alkyl acrylate-styrene copolymer emulsion; or a nonionic resin, such as a vinylpyrrolidone-vinyl acetate copolymer, or a hydroxyethyl acrylate-butyl acrylate-methoxyethyl acrylate copolymer. Styling resins may be used in combination.
[0022] The content (solid content) of the styling resin is not particularly limited. For example, the content (solid content) of the styling resin in the hair styling spray composition is preferably 0.1% by mass or more, more preferably 0.3% by mass or more. The content (solid content) of the styling resin in the hair styling spray composition is preferably 20% by mass or less, more preferably 15% by mass or less. When the content (solid content) of the styling resin is within the above range, the hair styling spray composition tends to exhibit excellent setting power.
[0023] (solvent) The solvent is blended to dissolve the styling resin in the hair styling spray composition to form a homogeneous phase, form particles of a size that easily adheres to hair, and spray uniformly, and to adjust the drying property by adhering to hair. The solvent is also blended to adjust the adhesion state of the film formed by the sprayed hair styling spray composition.
[0024] The solvent contains a hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40°C and an alcohol.
[0025] Hydrofluoroolefins with boiling points between 5 and 40°C Hydrofluoroolefins with boiling points of 5 to 40°C are blended to dissolve styling resins to form stable hair styling spray compositions, to prevent clogging in the passages of spray containers, and to adjust the particle size and drying properties of the spray.
[0026] The hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40° C. is not particularly limited. For example, the hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40° C. is trans-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (HFO-1233zd(E), boiling point 19° C.), cis-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (HFO-1233zd(Z), boiling point 39° C.), etc. The hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40° C. may be used in combination.
[0027] The content of the hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40°C is not particularly limited. For example, the content of the hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40°C is preferably 50% by mass or more, more preferably 55% by mass or more, in the hair styling spray composition. The content of the hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40°C is preferably 95% by mass or less, more preferably 93% by mass or less, in the hair styling spray composition. When the content of the hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40°C is within the above range, the hair styling spray composition increases the drying property of the deposit when applied to hair, and the styling resin easily forms a film, making it easy to obtain excellent setting power. In addition, the hair styling spray composition has excellent solubility of the styling resin, so that the passage of the valve or spray member is less likely to be clogged. Here, according to common general knowledge, in order to improve the drying property of the sprayed composition, it is considered to blend a liquefied gas with a low boiling point (for example, normal butane, isobutane, propane, and mixtures thereof such as liquefied petroleum gas, dimethyl ether, and hydrofluoroolefins with a boiling point of less than 5°C). However, in this embodiment, contrary to common general knowledge, it has been discovered that the drying property of the composition sprayed on hair is improved by blending a hydrofluoroolefin with a higher boiling point of 5 to 40°C instead of the propellant with a boiling point of less than 5°C that has been conventionally used. It has also been discovered that this provides excellent setting power.
[0028] ·alcohol The alcohol is blended as a solvent for stably dissolving the above-mentioned styling resin and hydrofluoroolefin to form a uniform hair styling spray composition, and is blended to adjust the drying property, stretchability, etc. of the film formed by the sprayed hair styling spray composition.
[0029] The alcohol is not particularly limited, and examples of the alcohol include monohydric alcohols having 2 to 3 carbon atoms, such as ethanol and isopropanol.
[0030] The content of alcohol is not particularly limited. For example, the content of alcohol in the hair styling spray composition is preferably 3% by mass or more, more preferably 5% by mass or more. The content of alcohol in the hair styling spray composition is preferably 45% by mass or less, more preferably 40% by mass or less. By having the alcohol content within the above range, the hair styling spray composition is easily sprayed to have a particle size that easily adheres to hair, and is less likely to be inhaled by consumers. In addition, the sprayed particles are likely to have excellent drying properties and setting power.
[0031] ·Optional ingredients The hair styling spray composition of this embodiment may contain an active ingredient as an optional ingredient in addition to the styling resin and solvent described above. The active ingredient is not particularly limited. For example, the active ingredient may be an ultraviolet absorbing agent such as diethylaminohydroxybenzoylhexyl benzoate, 2-ethylhexyl paramethoxycinnamate, ethylhexyl triazone, oxybenzone, hydroxybenzophenone sulfonic acid, dihydroxybenzophenone sodium sulfonate, or dihydroxybenzophenone; an ultraviolet scattering agent such as zinc oxide, titanium oxide, or octyltrimethoxysilane-coated titanium oxide; vitamins such as retinol, retinol acetate, retinol palmitate, calcium pantothenate, ascorbic acid, sodium ascorbate, dl-α-tocopherol, tocopherol acetate, tocopherol, tocopherol nicotinate, dibenzoylthiamine, riboflavin, or a mixture thereof; various extracts such as Swertia japonica extract or rosemary extract; These include moisturizers such as lycerin, 1,3-butylene glycol, propylene glycol, hexylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, diglycerin, and hyaluronic acid; fragrances such as floral, green, citrus green, green floral, citrus, rose, rosewood, herbal wood, lemon, and peppermint; pigments such as aluminum powder, silica, and iron oxide; dyes such as Yellow No. 4, Yellow No. 5, Yellow No. 202, Yellow No. 203, Red No. 2, Red No. 3, Blue No. 1, and Blue No. 2; surfactants such as polysorbates, polyglycerol fatty acid esters, and polyoxyethylene alkyl ethers; chelating agents such as edetate disodium; preservatives such as parabens and phenoxyethanol; and various oil components such as fats and oils, ester oils, higher fatty acids, higher alcohols, hydrocarbons, and silicones.
[0032] When an active ingredient is blended, the content of the active ingredient is not particularly limited. For example, the content of the active ingredient in the hair styling spray composition is preferably 0.1% by mass or more, more preferably 0.3% by mass or more. The content of the active ingredient in the hair styling spray composition is preferably 20% by mass or less, more preferably 15% by mass or less. By having the content of the active ingredient within the above range, the resulting hair styling spray composition is likely to achieve the desired effect by blending the active ingredient.
[0033] Returning to the explanation of the hair styling spray composition as a whole, the mass ratio of the hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40° C. to the alcohol is preferably 50:50 to 97:3, and more preferably 55:45 to 95:5. When the mass ratio of the hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40° C. to the alcohol is within the above range, the hair styling spray composition has particularly excellent drying properties and is likely to provide better setting power.
[0034] The method for preparing the hair styling spray composition is not particularly limited. The hair styling spray composition can be prepared by a conventionally known method. For example, the hair styling spray composition can be prepared by mixing the above-mentioned styling resin, optional components such as alcohol and active ingredients, and adding hydrofluoroolefin thereto.
[0035] As described above, the hair styling spray composition of the present embodiment is likely to form particles of a size that easily adheres to hair, and hydrofluoroolefin is likely to remain in the deposit adhered to the hair. As a result, the deposit dries in a very short time. In addition, the deposit dries, and thus a film of the styling resin is likely to be formed on the hair, and excellent setting power is likely to be obtained.
[0036] <Hair styling spray products> The above-mentioned hair styling spray composition can be filled into an appropriate container or the like and used as a hair styling spray product.
[0037] (First embodiment) A hair styling spray product according to one embodiment of the present invention is a hair styling spray product in which the above-mentioned hair styling spray composition and compressed gas are filled in a pressure-resistant container.
[0038] Compressed gas The compressed gas is formulated as a propellant for pressurizing the hair styling spray composition and spraying it to the outside.
[0039] The compressed gas is not particularly limited. Examples of compressed gases include nitrogen, air, oxygen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and nitrous oxide. In particular, when carbon dioxide or nitrous oxide, which dissolves in a large amount in hydrofluoroolefins having a boiling point of 5 to 40°C, is used, a vapor tap hole can be provided in the housing described below. As a result, the hair styling spray product is likely to form particles of a size that easily adheres to hair, and the flame length can be eliminated in a flame length test.
[0040] The compressed gas is preferably filled so that the pressure inside the container is 0.3 MPa, and more preferably 0.4 MPa or more, at 25° C. The compressed gas is preferably filled so that the pressure inside the container is 1.0 MPa or less, and more preferably 0.8 MPa or less, at 25° C. By filling the compressed gas so that the pressure is within the above range, the hair styling spray composition is likely to form particles of a size that easily adheres to hair, and an appropriate amount is likely to be sprayed.
[0041] The hair styling spray composition may contain a liquefied gas in combination with the hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40°C within a range that does not impair the drying effect of the deposited matter.
[0042] The liquefied gas is not particularly limited. For example, the liquefied gas is liquefied petroleum gas having a boiling point of less than 5°C, such as normal butane, isobutane, propane, and a mixture thereof, dimethyl ether, and hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of less than 5°C (HFO-1234ze(E), boiling point -19°C, and HFO-1234yf, boiling point -30°C). The liquefied gas may be used in combination. The mass ratio of the hair styling spray composition to the liquefied gas (hair styling spray composition / liquefied gas) is preferably 95:5 to 80:20. If the mass ratio of the liquefied gas is large, the vaporization of the hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40°C is promoted in the hair styling spray composition, and the drying property of the deposit attached to the hair is likely to decrease.
[0043] The method for producing the hair styling spray product of the present embodiment is not particularly limited. For example, the hair styling spray product can be prepared by filling a hair styling spray composition into a pressure-resistant container, attaching a valve to the opening of the pressure-resistant container, and filling compressed gas through the valve. Also, the hair styling spray product can be produced by attaching an injection member to the stem of the valve.
[0044] The pressure container is a container filled with the hair styling spray composition, and has a cylindrical shape with a bottom. A valve is attached to the opening of the pressure container.
[0045] The material of the pressure vessel is not particularly limited, and examples of the material include metals such as aluminum and tinplate, various synthetic resins, and pressure-resistant glass.
[0046] The valve is a member for closing and sealing the opening of the pressure vessel. The valve mainly comprises a housing held by a mounting cup attached to the opening of the pressure vessel, a stem having a stem hole communicating between the inside and outside of the pressure vessel, and a stem rubber attached around the stem hole for closing the stem hole. The housing contains the stem, the stem rubber, and a spring for biasing the stem upward. An injection member for injecting the hair styling spray composition is attached to the upper end of the stem.
[0047] The spray member is a member for spraying the hair styling spray composition by opening and closing the valve, and is attached to the upper end of the stem. The spray member mainly comprises a nozzle portion having a spray hole formed therein, and an operating portion operated by the user with a finger or the like. The hair styling spray composition is sprayed from the spray hole. The number and shape of the spray holes are not particularly limited. There may be multiple spray holes. The shape of the spray hole may be approximately circular, approximately angular, or the like.
[0048] In the hair styling spray product of this embodiment, when the spray member is pressed down, the stem of the valve is pressed down. This causes the stem rubber to bend downward and the stem hole to open. As a result, the inside of the pressure-resistant container communicates with the outside. When the inside of the pressure-resistant container communicates with the outside, the hair styling spray composition is taken into the housing by the pressure difference between the pressure inside the pressure-resistant container and the outside, then passes through the stem hole and the stem internal passage, is sent to the spray member, and is then sprayed from the spray hole.
[0049] In this way, the hair styling spray product can spray the hair styling spray composition with the pressure of compressed gas.
[0050] Second embodiment A hair styling spray product according to one embodiment of the present invention is a hair styling spray product in which the above-mentioned hair styling spray composition is filled in a container body (an example of a pressurized spray container).
[0051] The method for producing the hair styling spray product of the present embodiment is not particularly limited. For example, the hair styling spray product can be prepared by filling the hair styling spray composition into a container body and attaching a pressurized valve to the opening of the container body. In addition, the hair styling spray product can be produced by attaching an injection member to the stem of the pressurized valve.
[0052] The container body can be the same as the pressure-resistant container described above. In addition, since it is not necessary to adopt a highly pressure-resistant container that can withstand a higher internal pressure, the container can be made lighter and the amount of material used can be reduced. A screw can be provided at the opening of the container body, and a pressurizing valve can be attached by screwing.
[0053] The pressurized valve is a member for closing the opening of the container body, taking in the hair styling spray composition in the container body, pressurizing it, and sending it to the spray member for spraying. The pressurized valve includes a housing for storing the hair styling spray composition to be sprayed, a pressurizing member for pressurizing the hair styling spray composition in the housing, and a cap for accommodating the pressurizing member in the housing and attached to the container body. In order to prevent the volatilization of the hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40°C, the housing is preferably configured so that no air inlet hole is formed or a packing is provided around the outer periphery of the air inlet hole to block the flow from inside the container body to inside the housing. The pressurizing member includes a stem, a piston member, a spring for biasing the stem upward, and a ball valve. The spray member is attached to the stem.
[0054] When the spray member is pressed down, the stem and piston member descend. Because the inlet hole at the bottom of the housing is closed by a ball valve, the hair styling spray composition in the housing is pressurized by the stem and piston member. When the piston member stops descending due to the pressurized hair styling spray composition, a gap is created between the stem and piston member. The hair styling spray composition passes through this gap and is sent to the spray member, and is then sprayed from the spray hole.
[0055] In this way, the hair styling spray product can spray the hair styling spray composition by pressurizing it. The sprayed hair styling spray composition contains a styling resin and a solvent containing a hydrofluoroolefin and an alcohol having a boiling point of 5 to 40°C. The hair styling spray composition is easily attached to hair. In addition, the attached matter dries quickly, and the styling resin easily forms a film on the hair, providing excellent setting power.
[0056] The hair styling spray composition of the present embodiment is preferably sprayed in the form of a mist with a particle size that allows easy adhesion to hair. The average particle size is preferably 5 to 50 μm, more preferably 6 to 45 μm. If the average particle size is less than 5 μm, it is easily inhaled, and if it is more than 50 μm, it tends to dry poorly. EXAMPLES

The hair bundle was held up until it dried, and then released. The angle of the hair bundle was checked and evaluated according to the following evaluation criteria. The angle of the hair bundle refers to the angle between the hair bundle and the horizontal plane, with the vertical direction being 90°. (Evaluation Criteria) ◎: The angle of the hair bundle was 90 to 60°. ○: The angle of the hair bundle was 59 to 30°. ×: The angle of the hair bundle was 29 to 0°.
[0077] <Clogging> The hair styling spray product was stored at 25°C and sprayed twice for 1 second per day for one month. The nozzle was checked for clogging and evaluated according to the following criteria. (Evaluation Criteria) ◯: The nozzle was not clogged, and the hair styling spray composition was able to be sprayed stably. ×: The nozzle was clogged, and the hair styling spray composition could not be sprayed.
[0078] [Table 2]
[0079] As shown in Table 2, the hair styling spray compositions of Examples 1, 2, and 4 to 8 did not precipitate resin even when dried, had excellent adhesion, and exhibited good drying properties and penetrability into hair bundles, and showed excellent setting power. The hair styling spray composition of Example 3 did not precipitate resin even when dried, had drying properties equivalent to those of a conventional hair spray (Comparative Example 2), had excellent adhesion, and showed excellent setting power with a particle size that was difficult to inhale. On the other hand, the hair styling spray composition of Comparative Example 1, which used a hydrofluoroolefin (HFO-1234ze(E)) with a boiling point of -19°C instead of a hydrofluoroolefin with a boiling point of 5 to 40°C, had poor adhesion, penetrability into hair bundles, and setting power. The hair styling spray composition of Comparative Example 2, which is a general hair spray, did not have as good adhesion as the Examples, and also had poor penetrability into hair bundles. The hair styling spray compositions of Comparative Examples 3 and 4, which do not contain a hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40°C, had the same setting power as Comparative Example 2, but had poor drying properties and penetration into the hair bundle, which caused clogging and made it impossible to spray the hair styling spray composition to the end. The hair styling spray compositions of Comparative Examples 5 and 6, which used isopentane instead of a hydrofluoroolefin having a boiling point of 5 to 40°C, had poor adhesion and penetration into the hair bundle, which caused clogging and made it impossible to spray the hair styling spray composition to the end. In addition, according to the appearance photograph of the hair bundle after the adhesion test, as shown in Figure 1, it was seen that the hair styling spray composition was uniformly adhered to the entire hair bundle and a film was formed as a result of the adhesion test when the hair styling spray composition of Example 1 was used. On the other hand, as shown in Figure 2, it was seen that the hair styling spray composition was not uniformly adhered to the entire hair bundle and a film was not sufficiently formed as a result of the adhesion test when the hair styling spray composition of Comparative Example 1 was used.
