Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to compositions for external use. [Background technology]
[0002] The dosage forms of topical agents include, for example, ointments, creams, lotions, etc. Ointments and creams are semi-solid and therefore difficult to spread over a wide area. Lotions are liquid and therefore suitable for spreading over a wide area, but are difficult to use because the liquid may drip during use.
[0003] Meanwhile, in recent years, foam agents that are simple and can be used in a wide range of applications have been attracting attention. When foam agents are discharged, they are in a foam state, so dripping is suppressed, and since they are liquid, they are also suitable for spreading over a wide range. As foam agents, foam agents using a non-gas type foam discharge device such as a pump type foam discharge device that uses a non-ionic surfactant for the purpose of suppressing irritation to the skin are preferable. Patent Document 1 proposes that foam can be maintained for a long time by combining a non-ionic surfactant with a certain amount or more of alcohol. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2016-121146 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0006] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a composition for external use for a foam-ejecting device that has good foaming and foam persistence while also having good foam-breaking properties. [Means for solving the problem]

The solubilized state can be confirmed by the transparent appearance. The solubilized state can also be confirmed by measuring the particle size by a conventional method. The solubilized composition can be obtained by dissolving each component under heating as necessary, and then cooling.
[0052] The composition for external use of the present invention is a composition for a foam discharge device. Here, the foam discharge device means one equipped with a foaming mechanism. That is, the composition for external use of the present invention is intended to be foamed by a foam discharge device for use. An example of a non-gas type foam discharge device is a screen type foam discharge device. The screen type foam discharge device means a device that pressurizes a liquid, passes it through a net-like screen, and mixes it with air to foam it. Examples of the screen type foam discharge device include a pump type foam discharge device, a tube type foam discharge device, and a squeeze type foam discharge device. Among these, a pump type foam discharge device is preferable.
[0053] The foam discharge device may be a known device, a commercially available device, etc. For example, in the case of a pump-type foam discharge device, the devices described in JP-A-2012-45525, JP-A-2008-307478, etc. may be used.
[0054] The topical composition of the present invention can be used by filling it in a container equipped with a foam ejection device. From this viewpoint, in one aspect, the present invention also relates to an external preparation comprising the topical composition of the present invention filled in a container equipped with a foam ejection device. The "topical preparation" is the same as the topical composition of the present invention described above. EXAMPLES
[0055] The present invention will be described in detail below based on examples, but the present invention is not limited to these examples.
[0056] Test Example 1. Foam Evaluation Test 1 Compositions 1 to 16 were prepared for filling into a container equipped with a foam discharge device according to the formulations shown in Tables 1 and 2 (numbers in parts by mass). Specifically, each component was weighed, heated and dissolved at 80°C, and solubilized under stirring, and then cooled to room temperature while stirring to obtain compositions 1 to 16. These compositions were filled into a pump-type foam discharge device container and subjected to testing.
[0057] Details of the materials used are as follows: 70% D-sorbitol solution (prepared by dissolving D-sorbitol (manufactured by Fujifilm Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd., product name: D-sorbitol (Wako First Grade)) in purified water) Mannitol (manufactured by Fujifilm Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd., product name: D-Mannitol (Wako Special Grade)) Erythritol (Tokyo Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., product name: meso-erythritol) Glycerin (manufactured by Fujifilm Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd., product name: Glycerin (special grade reagent)) Polyglycerin (manufactured by Sakamoto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., product name: Polyglycerin 750, glycerin polymerization number: 10) Polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene glycol (NOF Corporation, product name: Pronon 188P) Polyethylene glycol monostearate (manufactured by Nikko Chemicals, product name: MYS-40MV) Polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil (manufactured by Nikko Chemicals, product name: HCO-60 (pharmaceutical product)).
[0058] A fixed amount of each of compositions 1 to 16 was discharged onto a slide glass from a pump-type foam discharge device container. The foaming immediately after discharge was observed visually and rated on a four-point scale according to the following evaluation criteria. The foam persistence was also evaluated visually on the change in the state of the foam after leaving it to stand for 5 minutes after discharge and rated on a four-point scale according to the following evaluation criteria. With regard to the foaming immediately after discharge, an evaluation of ○ or higher was judged to be good foaming, and with regard to the foam persistence, an evaluation of △ or higher was judged to be good persistence.
[0059] <Evaluation criteria for foaming immediately after dispensing> ◎: Good quality foam (fine, foamy). ○: Foams. △: Weak foaming. ×: No foam is formed.
[0060] <Evaluation criteria for foam durability> ◎: No change in foam is observed. ○: The foam height is decreased. △: The area occupied by the bubbles on the slide glass becomes smaller. ×: No bubbles.
[0061] On the other hand, a certain amount of each of compositions 1 to 16 was discharged from a pump-type foam discharge device container onto one arm of the subject, and the subject spread the composition toward the fingertips. However, the subject was only allowed to spread the composition once. The foam-breakdown was evaluated on a three-point scale according to the following evaluation criteria. A rating of △ or higher was determined to be good.
[0062] <Evaluation criteria for foam loss> ○: After spreading once, foam was found to remain on the arm, but the foam disappeared within 1 minute. △: After spreading once, foam was found to remain on the arm, and the foam was still there after 1 minute. However, by spreading repeatedly, the foam disappeared, and no whitening was observed. ×: After spreading once, bubbles were found to remain on the arm. Even after spreading several times, bubbles remained and whitening was found on the arm.
[0063] The results are shown in Tables 1 and 2.
[0064] [Table 1]
[0065] [Table 2]
[0066] As shown in Tables 1 and 2, the foams obtained from compositions 1 to 16 had good foaming and foam persistence, and also had good foam-breaking properties.
[0067] Test Example 2. Foam Evaluation Test 2 According to the formulations shown in Table 3 (numbers in parts by mass), compositions 17 to 18 for filling into a container equipped with a foam ejection device were prepared in the same manner as in Test Example 1. The foaming immediately after ejection, foam persistence, and foam disappearance were evaluated in the same manner as in Test Example 1.
[0068] The results are shown in Table 3.
[0069] [Table 3]
[0070] As shown in Table 3, the foams obtained from Compositions 17 to 18 had good foaming and foam persistence, and also had good foam-rinsing properties.
