Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] This invention relates to a bobbin remover device that removes a product from a bobbin around which the product is wound, making the bobbin reusable. The product referred to here includes threads, tapes, sheets, etc. of natural fibers, synthetic fibers, carbon fibers, metal fibers, etc., as well as paper, synthetic resin films, etc. Also, the bobbin is a cylindrical winding core for winding a product, and is made of any material. [Background technology]
[0002] As an example of a bobbin remover device, a residual thread removing device that removes residual thread on a paper tube is known (for example, Patent Document 1).
[0003] A conventional residual thread removal device includes a holder for holding a cardboard tube with residual thread, a block body having an opening that fits the outer diameter of the cardboard tube on the holder, and a cutter that moves relatively in the axial direction of the cardboard tube along the surface of the cardboard tube on the holder, and when the cardboard tube on the holder is advanced into the opening of the block body while cutting the residual thread on the cardboard tube via the cutter, the residual thread on the cardboard tube can be removed by peeling it off. Note that the holder is a cylindrical body that fits the inner diameter of the cardboard tube that is inserted into the cardboard tube, and the cutter is disposed so as to be movable in the axial direction of the cardboard tube in a position immediately adjacent to the surface of the cardboard tube. [0004] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 4106674 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] In such conventional technology, the holder, block body, and cutter are all designed to be used only with paper tubes of a specific size, and have poor adaptability to fluctuations and variations in paper tube size, making them not necessarily easy to use.
[0006] Therefore, in consideration of the problems of the conventional technology, the object of the present invention is to provide a bobbin remover device that can enhance adaptability to fluctuations and variations in bobbin size and improve usability by introducing a new holder, cutter, scraper unit, and pull-out unit. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] To achieve this objective, the present invention is configured to include a holder that is inserted into a bobbin around which a product is wound, increasing the outer diameter and holding the bobbin, a cutter that moves up and down in the radial direction of the bobbin on the holder and moves back and forth in the axial direction, a scraper unit that is arranged coaxially with the holder and simultaneously opens and closes a number of movable claws that are arranged radially, and a pull-out unit that moves the holder axially to insert the bobbin on the holder into and through the scraper unit, with separate servo motors being provided for increasing and decreasing the outer diameter of the holder, raising and lowering the cutter, moving the cutter back and forth, opening and closing the movable claws in the scraper unit, and moving the holder in the pull-out unit.
[0008] When the pulling unit performs the operation of pulling out the product remaining on the bobbin, the movable claws and the cutter can each be controlled to follow the surface of the bobbin in accordance with the axial change in the outer diameter of the bobbin.
[0009] In addition, the holder may be mounted on a movable frame driven by the extraction unit, the cutter may be mounted on a fixed vertical frame via a guide frame that is long from front to back and moves up and down, the scraper unit may be mounted on the vertical frame, and the extraction unit may be mounted on a fixed horizontal frame. Effect of the Invention
[0010] In this configuration, the holder holds the bobbin by increasing its outer diameter, so it can easily accommodate fluctuations and variations in the bobbin's inner diameter, and the cutter that moves up and down in the radial direction of the bobbin can accommodate fluctuations and variations in the bobbin's outer diameter. Also, the scraper unit can accommodate fluctuations and variations in the bobbin's outer diameter by simultaneously opening and closing multiple radially arranged movable claws, and the pulling unit can accommodate fluctuations and variations in the bobbin's length, so that overall, it is possible to increase adaptability to fluctuations and variations in bobbin size and improve usability.
[0011] The servo motors provided separately for driving and controlling the holder, cutter, scraper unit, and pull-out unit can continuously control each driven object independently of each other, making it easy to achieve optimal operating performance even if there is variation or scatter in the bobbin size or a reduction in the bobbin outer diameter due to the winding tension of the product on the bobbin, known as winding tightening.
[0012] By mounting the holder on the movable frame, mounting the cutter on the vertical frame via a guide frame, mounting the scraper unit directly on the vertical frame, and mounting the pull-out unit on the horizontal frame, the entire unit can be assembled into an integrated, compact unit. [0014] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0015] The bobbin remover device includes a holder 10 that holds a bobbin B around which a product P is wound, a cutter 21, a scraper unit 30, and a pull-out unit 40 (FIG. 1). In the following description, the right and left sides of FIG. 1 are referred to as the front and rear, respectively.
[0016] The holder 10 is composed of a ring-shaped pad 11 made of an elastic material such as urethane rubber, a taper block 12, and a number of movable pieces 13, 13... (Figs. 1 and 2(A)). The taper block 12 is a truncated cone-shaped member whose outer diameter gradually increases from the rear to the front, and is connected to the front end of the drive rod 14 via an extension rod 12a.
[0017] The movable pieces 13, 13... are arranged evenly in a circle along the outer periphery of the taper block 12, for example, eight or more pieces. The inner surface of the movable pieces 13, 13... is tapered so that they can slide back and forth along the outer surface of the taper block 12, and the outer surface is straight in the axial direction. The pads 11 are elastically fitted into the outer surface of the movable pieces 13, 13.... The movable pieces 13, 13... are attached to the front end of a stepped cylindrical adapter 13a via a guide member 13b so as to be movable in the radial direction. The adapter 13a is connected to the front end of a support cylinder 14a for the drive rod 14, and the extension rod 12a for the taper block 12 passes through the adapter 13a and the guide member 13b so as to be slidable back and forth.
[0018] The driving rod 14 is housed in the support cylinder 14a and the support base 14b so as to be slidable back and forth. The driving rod 14 is extended rearward by connecting a screw shaft 14c of a predetermined length to the rear of the support base 14b. The screw shaft 14c is screwed into a screw member 14d, and the screw member 14d is connected to a servo motor 15 via a timing belt 15a. However, the screw member 14d is rotatably assembled to a support frame 15b for the servo motor 15 that stands on the moving frame 41, and the support base 14b for the support cylinder 14a is also loaded on the moving frame 41.
[0019] When the taper block 12 of the holder 10 is advanced (in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 2(A)) via the driving rod 14 and the extension rod 12a, the movable pieces 13, 13... move inward toward the axis of the adapter 13a in unison, thereby reducing the outer diameter of the pad 11, and when the taper block 12 is retreated (in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 2(B)), the movable pieces 13, 13... move outward in unison, thereby increasing the outer diameter of the pad 11. In addition, the driving rod 14 and the extension rod 12a can be driven forward and backward via the screw member 14d and the screw shaft 14c by driving the servo motor 15 forward and backward. Thus, the holder 10 can reduce the outer diameter of the pad 11, i.e., the outer diameter of the holder 10, via the servo motor 15, and insert it relatively into the bobbin B around which the product P is wound (in the direction of the white arrow in FIG. 2(A)), and can increase the outer diameter via the servo motor 15 to detachably clamp and hold the bobbin B (FIG. 2(B), FIG. 1). The bobbin B on the holder 10 is securely held by, for example, inserting the holder 10 deeply until it abuts against the maximum diameter portion of the base of the adapter 13a.
[0020] However, the holder 10, together with the adapter 13a and the extension rod 12a, can be replaced with those of an appropriate size according to the inner diameter and length of the bobbin B. Also, in FIG. 1, the adapter 13a and the extension rod 12a that fit the bobbin B are omitted from the illustration.
[0021] The cutter 21 forms a cutting edge on the entire circumference of a disk (FIG. 1), and is rotatably attached to the lower end of a downward bracket 21a mounted on a guide frame 22 that is long in the front-rear direction. A screw shaft 23a connected to a servo motor 23 is incorporated in the guide frame 22, and the bracket 21a can be moved back and forth along the guide frame 22 via the screw shaft 23a. The guide frame 22 can be raised and lowered along a fixed vertical frame 25 via a screw shaft 24a connected to a servo motor 24. The servo motors 23 and 24 are mounted on the rear end of the guide frame 22 and the upper end of the vertical frame 25, respectively. The cutter 21 can be raised and lowered in the radial direction of the bobbin B on the holder 10 via the servo motor 24 and the screw shaft 24a, and can be moved back and forth in the axial direction of the bobbin B via the servo motor 23 and the screw shaft 23a.
[0022] The scraper unit 30 is disposed coaxially with the holder 10, penetrating the lower part of the vertical frame 25 from front to rear, and the drive rod 14 and support cylinder 14a for the holder 10 penetrate the scraper unit 30 from front to rear. The scraper unit 30 is constructed by integrally assembling a plurality of radially arranged movable claws 31, 31..., a taper member 32 combining a tapered large diameter section and a straight small diameter section from front to rear, and a ring-shaped base block 33 (Figs. 1 and 3).
[0023] Each movable claw 31 has a claw tip 31a formed on the inner periphery of the front surface, and is assembled to the front surface of the base block 33 via a guide block 31b so as to be movable in the radial direction. In addition, fan-shaped covers 33b, 33b... are attached between the movable claws 31, 31 on the front surface of the base block 33. However, Fig. 3(A) to (C) are respectively an overall perspective view of the scraper unit 30, a perspective view of the main parts showing the movable claws 31, 31..., the guide blocks 31b, 31b..., and the tapered member 32, and a perspective view of the main parts showing the tapered member 32 and the guide block 31b. Note that Fig. 3(B) and (C) also show a fixed bush 32b that fits into the outer periphery of the small diameter part of the tapered member 32 and guides the tapered member 32 so as to be slidable back and forth.
[0024] Guide grooves 33a, 33a... with a T-shaped cross section are formed radially on the front side of the base block 33. Also, guide grooves 32a, 32a... with a T-shaped cross section are formed in an evenly arranged manner on the tapered surface of the large diameter part of the tapered member 32. The guide block 31b has engaging parts 31b1, 31b2 which respectively engage with the guide groove 33a on the base block 33 side and the guide groove 32a on the tapered member 32 side, and is formed so as to be able to simultaneously engage with both the guide grooves 33a, 32a. Also, the movable claw 31 is detachably positioned on the front side of the guide block 31b and screwed.
[0025] The scraper unit 30 is fixed to the front side of the vertical frame 25 via a base block 33 (FIG. 1). A plate-shaped bracket 32c is attached to the rear end of the taper member 32 that protrudes to the rear side of the vertical frame 25, and the bracket 32c can be driven back and forth via a screw shaft 34a connected to a servo motor 34, thereby moving the taper member 32 back and forth.
[0026] Therefore, when the scraper unit 30 retreats the tapered member 32 via the servo motor 34 (in the direction of the arrows in Figs. 1 and 3(C)), it drives each guide block 31b inward via the guide grooves 32a, 32a... of the tapered member 32, and moves the guide blocks 31b, 31b... and the movable claws 31, 31... inward all at once along the guide grooves 33a, 33a... of the base block 33, so that the opening S formed by the tips 31a, 31a... of the movable claws 31, 31... can be closed to a minimum (Figs. 1 and 3(A)). Conversely, when the scraper unit 30 advances the tapered member 32 via the servo motor 34 (in the direction opposite to the arrow in Fig. 1, in the direction of the arrow in Fig. 4(C)), it moves each guide block 31b and the movable claws 31 outward all at once, so that the opening S can be opened (Fig. 4(A)). That is, the scraper unit 30 can simultaneously open and close the movable claws 31, 31... via the servo motor 34. However, Figures 4(A) to (C) are equivalent to Figures 3(A) to (C), respectively, which show the opening S in an open state.
[0027] 5 is a schematic diagram showing the relative positional relationship between the cutter 21, the movable claws 31, 31... of the scraper unit 30, and the bobbin B on the holder 10. However, in FIG. 5, the cutting edge of the cutter 21 is lowered to a position immediately adjacent to the surface of the bobbin B, and the same is true for the claw tips 31a of each movable claw 31.
[0028] The extraction unit 40 is configured to include a screw shaft 42a connected to a servo motor 42, a screw member 42b screwed onto the screw shaft 42a, and a moving frame 41 connected to the screw member 42b via a connecting member 42c (FIG. 1).
[0029] Sliders 41a, 41a are attached to the lower surface of the moving frame 41, and the sliders 41a, 41a can slide back and forth along a guide rail 43a on a fixed horizontal frame 43. The servo motor 42, the screw shaft 42a, and the screw member 42b are attached to the lower surface side of the horizontal frame 43. The pull-out unit 40 drives the servo motor 42 forward and backward to move the moving frame 41 forward and backward via the screw shaft 42a, the screw member 42b, and the connecting member 42c, and can move a series of members on the moving frame 41 from the servo motor 15 to the holder 10 forward and backward at once. That is, the pull-out unit 40 moves the holder 10 in the axial direction via the servo motor 42, and can cause the bobbin B on the holder 10 to enter and penetrate the scraper unit 30. The vertical frame 25 and the horizontal frame 43 are integrally assembled on a common base frame (not shown).
[0030] The operation of such a bobbin remover device is, for example, as follows.
[0031] First, the holder 10 and the cutter 21 are set at a predetermined starting position, and the bobbin B around which the product P is wound is brought in and held on the holder 10 (FIG. 6(A)). That is, the drive rod 14 and the taper block 12 are moved backward via the servo motor 15 (in the directions of the arrows K1 and K2 in the figure), and the outer diameter of the pad 11, i.e., the outer diameter of the holder 10, is increased (in the directions of the arrows K3 and K3 in the figure), and the bobbin B is clamped and held on the holder 10.
[0032] Next, the product P on the bobbin B is cut by the cutter 21 (FIG. 6(B)). That is, the cutter 21 is reciprocated back and forth via the servo motor 23 (in the direction of the arrow K1 in the figure), and the cutter 21 is lowered stepwise via the servo motor 24 (in the direction of the arrow K2 in the figure) for each forward and backward stroke of the cutter 21. The cutter 21 advances in a zigzag manner in the axial and radial directions of the bobbin B (in the direction of the arrow K3 in the figure), and can cut almost the entire layer of the product P on the bobbin B and remove it from the bobbin B. The removed product P falls downward as chips and is carried out to the outside. The forward and backward strokes of the cutter 21 are set so that the entire winding length Lp of the product P on the bobbin B can be cut, and finally the cutting edge is lowered to a position just near the surface of the bobbin B (indicated by the two-dot chain line in the figure). Therefore, after this process is completed, only a small amount of product P remains on the bobbin B that was not cut by the cutter 21, and in the following description, illustration of the product P remaining on the bobbin B may be omitted.
[0033] Next, the movable claws 31, 31... of the scraper unit 30 are closed (FIG. 7(A)). That is, the tapered member 32 of the scraper unit 30 is retreated (in the direction of the arrow K1 in the figure) via the servo motor 34, and the movable claws 31, 31... are simultaneously driven inward (in the directions of the arrows K2, K2 in the figure), and the claw tip 31a of each movable claw 31 is closed at a position immediately adjacent to the surface of the bobbin B on the holder 10. Also, the cutter 21 is set immediately in front of the scraper unit 30, that is, to a position equivalent to the starting position of the winding length Lp (FIG. 6(B)) of the product P on the bobbin B, while keeping the cutting edge at a position immediately adjacent to the surface of the bobbin B.
[0034] Thereafter, the cutter 21 is continuously moved back and forth with a small stroke via the servo motor 23 (in the direction of the arrow K1 in FIG. 7(B)), and the servo motor 42 of the pulling unit 40 is driven to move the moving frame 41 backward (in the direction of the arrow K2 in the same figure), and the bobbin B on the holder 10 is advanced into the scraper unit 30 (in the direction of the arrow K2 in FIG. 8(A)), and the pulling operation of the product P remaining on the bobbin B is started. Thereafter, while continuing the small stroke back and forth movement of the cutter 21 (in the direction of the arrow K1 in FIGS. 8(A)-(C)), the pulling operation is continued (in the direction of the arrow K2 in FIGS. 8(B) and (C)), and the bobbin B is passed through the opening S of the scraper unit 30, and at the same time, all of the product P remaining on the bobbin B can be removed (FIG. 8(C)).
[0035] During the pulling operation, the product P on the bobbin B accumulates on the front side of the movable claws 31, 31... of the scraper unit 30 to form a raised portion Pa (FIG. 8(B)), and the winding tension of the product P may increase locally immediately in front of the movable claws 31, 31.... However, the cutter 21 quickly shifts the range of its small stroke back and forth movement to the front side of the scraper unit 30 as the pulling operation begins, reliably cutting the product P including the raised portion Pa (FIGS. 8(A) and (B)), thereby preventing an increase in the winding tension and smoothly removing the product P. Even if the product P including the raised portion Pa adheres to the front sides of the movable claws 31, 31... after being pulled out of the bobbin B (FIG. 8(C)), it can be mechanically scraped off as appropriate and carried out to the outside (FIG. 9(A)).
[0036] Next, the forward and backward movement of the cutter 21 is stopped, and the cutter 21 is returned to the start position as shown in FIG. Return it to the start position (in the direction of arrow K1 in Fig. 9(B)), and open the movable claws 31, 31... of the scraper unit 30 to the start position (in the directions of arrows K2, K3, K3 in the same figure). Also, return the holder 10 to the start position via the extraction unit 40 (in the direction of arrow K4 in the same figure), and advance the drive rod 14 and the taper block 12 for the holder 10 to reduce the outer diameter of the holder 10 (in the directions of arrows K5, K6, K7, K7 in the same figure), remove the bobbin B on the holder 10, carry a new bobbin B around which the product P is wound onto the holder 10 (Fig. 6(A)), and then repeat the same procedure hereinafter.
[0037] Note that the bobbin B around which the product P is wound may cause winding tightness due to the winding tension of the product P (Fig. 10(D)). That is, the original outer diameter d = do of the bobbin B is reduced to an outer diameter d = d1 < do over almost the entire length of the winding length Lp of the product P. Therefore, the outer diameter d of the bobbin B remains d = do at both ends, but changes to d = d1 < do in the middle part.
[0038] Therefore, when performing the extraction operation in Figs. 7(B) and 8 for the purpose of removing the product P remaining on such a bobbin B, the movable claws 31, 31... of the scraper unit 30 and the cutter 21 that continuously moves back and forth with a small stroke can perform follow-up control in accordance with the axial change of the outer diameter d (Figs. 10(A) to (C)). That is, when starting the extraction operation (Fig. 10(A)), the movable claws 31, 31... and the cutter 21 are adjusted to the position closest to the surface of the outer diameter d = do of the bobbin B. When the reduced diameter part in the middle of the bobbin B is inserted into the positions of the movable claws 31, 31... of the scraper unit 30 (Fig. 10(B)), the movable claws 31, 31... are moved inward and the cutter 21 is lowered so that both are made to correspond to the surface of the outer diameter d = d1 < do of the bobbin B. When the reduced diameter part of the bobbin B passes through the positions of the movable claws 31, 31... (Fig. 10(C)), the movable claws 31, 31... and the cutter 21 are returned to their original positions and made to correspond to the surface of the outer diameter d = do of the bobbin B.
[0039] However, the manner in which the bobbin B is wound may not only be uniformly reduced in diameter within the range of the winding length Lp of the product P as shown in FIG. 10(D), but may also be reduced in diameter in a smooth curve within the range of the winding length Lp. Even in this case, the movable claws 31, 31... and the cutter 21 can be controlled in the same way to follow the axial change in the outer diameter d of the bobbin B.
[0040] In the above description, the servo motors 15, 23, 24, 34, 42 and the screw shafts 14c, 23a, 24a, 34a, 42a combined therewith can be replaced with any linear drive source including a linear actuator as long as the various control forms described above can be realized. [Industrial Applicability]
[0041] The present invention can quickly and safely remove products from bobbins, can be easily adapted to a variety of bobbin sizes, and can be widely and suitably applied to any application requiring bobbin reuse. [Explanation of symbols]
