DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0017] In the following, the embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail. However, it will be understood that many applicable inventive concepts provided in the embodiments may be embodied in a variety of specific contexts. The embodiments discussed and disclosed are for illustrative purposes only and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.
[0018] The terms used in this specification are for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and do not limit the scope of the claims. Unless otherwise specified, the singular terms "a" and "the" may be used to refer to the plural.
[0019] Please refer to Figures 1 and 1A. Figure 1 is a perspective structural view of an electric power machine and a one-way transmission mechanism of a power generation system according to some embodiments of the present invention, and Figure 1A is a block diagram of the power generation system according to some embodiments of the present invention. In this example, the power generation system is a hydroelectric power generation system. The power generation system 100 includes an electric power machine 200, a plurality of one-way transmission mechanisms 300, and a generator 400.
[0020] The electric power machine 200 includes a number of turbine units 220A, 220B, and 220C, and a flowpath group 240.
[0021] Please refer to Figures 2 and 3. Figure 2 is a perspective structural view of the turbine device 220A in the deployed position, and Figure 3 is a top view of the turbine device 220A in Figure 2. The turbine devices 220A, 220B, and 220C all have the same structure. The turbine device 220A includes a turbine body 221, a plurality of blades 222, a plurality of rotating units 223, a plurality of cover sheets 224, a plurality of stopper portions 225, and a plurality of elastic units 226.
[0022] The turbine body 221 includes a body 227 and a rotating shaft 228. The body 227 is a cylindrical body, but is not limited to this, and the rotating shaft 228 is connected to the center of the body 227. Each blade 222 extends in the axial direction of the body 227, and its cut surface in the radial direction is curved (i.e., the cross section of the blade 222 is curved), forming a concave arc surface. (The "first surface" of the claim) 229 and the convex arc opposite the concave arc ("Second surface" of the claim)230. In some embodiments, the curvature of the cross section of the blade 222 is similar to the curvature of the cross section of the body 227. Furthermore, each blade 222 includes a connection side 231 and a movable side 232 opposite to the connection side. Each of these rotating units 223 is provided between the connection side 231 of each of the blades 222 and the turbine body 221, so that each of the blades 222 is provided at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction of the turbine body 221 and rotates with respect to the turbine body 221. The blades 222 can be opened and closed with respect to the turbine body 221. Since the blades 222 are pivotally attached to the turbine body 221 via the rotating units 223, there is a gap between the connection side 231 of the blades 222 and the turbine body 221. The material of the cover sheet 224 is a soft impermeable material, such as a soft plastic material. These cover sheets 224 are provided in the gap between the connecting side 231 of each of the blades 222 and the turbine body 221, so that when the fluid pushes the turbine device 220A, it does not pass through the gap between the connecting side 231 of the blades 222 and the turbine body 221, and does not affect the rotation of the blades 222, so that the rotation effect of the blades 222 is improved. These stopper parts 225 are provided in the turbine body 221 corresponding to each of the blades 222, and face the arc convex surface 230 of the corresponding blade 222, which is used to limit the deployment angle of the blades 222. Each elastic unit 226 includes a fixed end and a moving end opposite to the fixed end. The fixed ends of the elastic units 226 are provided in the turbine body 221, and the moving ends are provided in each of the blades 222, in order to provide a restoring force for the blades 222 when they are stored. The elastic units 226 are, for example, rubber bands, springs, etc.
[0023] The blade 222 rotates between a deployed position and a stored position relative to the turbine body 221. When the blade 222 is in the deployed position, the movable side 232 of the blade 222 is separated from the turbine body, the distance L between the movable side 232 of the blade 222 and the center of the rotation shaft 228 is the longest, and the connection side 231 of the blade 222 abuts against the corresponding stopper portion 225 on the arc convex surface 230. In this example, the included angle θ between the connection side 231 and the tangent at the position corresponding to the turbine body 221 is about 90 degrees. When the blade 222 is in the deployed position, the blade 222 is in the longest moment arm state (i.e., the distance L is the longest), and the moment of the fluid acting on the blade 222 is the largest.
[0024] Please refer to Figures 4 and 5. Figure 4 is a perspective structural view of the turbine device 220A in the storage position, and Figure 5 is a top view of the turbine device 220A in Figure 4. When the blades 222 are in the storage position, the movable side 232 of the blades 222 approaches the turbine body 221 at the concave arc surface 229, and the included angle θ between the connecting side 231 and the tangent to the position corresponding to the turbine body 221 approaches 0 degrees, the connecting side 231 of the blades 222 does not abut the corresponding stopper portion 225 at the convex arc surface 230, and the elastic unit 226 of the corresponding blade 222 is in a deformed state (e.g., in a tensile state) and has potential energy that causes the corresponding blade 222 to return to the deployed state. When the blades 222 are in the storage position, the moment of the fluid acting on the blades 222 approaches zero. When these blades 222 are in the storage position, they are substantially concentric with the turbine body 221.
[0025] It should be noted that when the blade 222 is in the deployed position, the elastic unit 226 corresponding to the blade 222 is also in a deformed state (e.g., in a tensile state), but the degree of deformation is smaller than that when the corresponding blade 222 is in the stored position. Therefore, when the blade 222 is not affected by the external force of the separator 241, the blade 222 does not move toward the stored position and abuts against the corresponding stopper portion 225, so that the blade 222 is always maintained at the deployed position when it is not subjected to an external force.
[0026] Please refer to Fig. 1, Fig. 1A, and Fig. 6. Fig. 6 is a schematic diagram of a fluid flowing through the electric power device 200. The flow path structure group 240 includes a plurality of separators 241 and a plurality of water guiding bodies 242. These separators 241 are provided at intervals along the arrangement direction X. Any two adjacent separators 241 define an open flow path space 243, and form an inlet 244 and an outlet 245 communicating with the flow path space 243. Each of the flow path spaces 243 houses a turbine device 220A, 220B, 220C, and the housed turbine device 220A, 220B, 220C is adjacent to one of the separators 241. The cross section of each separator 241 is curved along the rotation direction of the turbine device 220A, 220B, 220C accommodated therein, so that the fluid flowing into the flow passage space 243 can push the blades 222 of the turbine devices 220A, 220B, 220C accommodated therein more by the guide of the separator 241. Each water guiding body 242 is provided between any two adjacent separators 241, and divides the inlet 244 into two partition inlets 246, 247.
[0027] Please refer to Figures 2 and 4. When the fluid flows through each water guide 242, it is divided into two fluid streams. The divided fluid stream that flows into the flow passage space 243 from the partition inlet 246 can rotate the turbine devices 220A, 220B, and 220C, and the divided fluid stream that flows into the flow passage space 243 from the partition inlet 247 flows in a direction approaching the partition inlet 246 to form a tangential fluid to the turbine devices 220A, 220B, and 220C. When the fluid flows into the flow passage space 243 from the partition inlets 246 and 247, the turbine devices 220A, 220B, and 220C rotate (clockwise in this example) by the driving force of the fluid, and when the blades 222 of the turbine devices 220A, 220B, and 220C come into contact with the adjacent separator 241, they move to a storage position so as to approach the turbine body 221 due to the action of the reaction force of the separator 241. When the retracted blade 222 approaches the corresponding water guiding body 242, it is deployed again by the action of the tangential fluid boost generated by the corresponding water guiding body 242 and the restoring force of the corresponding elastic unit 226. The blade 222 that is not fully deployed to the deployed position can be smoothly deployed by receiving the fluid flowing directly toward the arc convex surface 230 by the corresponding water guiding body 242.
[0028] In some embodiments, the water conductor 242 has an inner surface 248 facing the corresponding flow space 243 that is curved and extends into the flow space 243 in a direction from the partition inlet 247 to the partition inlet 246, so that the branch of the fluid flowing from the partition inlet 247 into the flow space 243 tends to form a tangential flow.
[0029] The turbine devices 220A, 220B, 220C reduce rotational resistance through the retractable blades 222, eliminating negative rotational power and more efficiently converting the kinetic energy of the fluid into mechanical energy.
[0030] It should be further described that each water conductor 242 may be disposed adjacent to one separator 241, which is different from the separator 241 adjacent to the disposed turbine device 220A, 220B, 220C, such that the partition inlet 247 is larger than the partition inlet 246. When the fluid split flow entering the partition inlet 247 is larger than the fluid split flow entering the partition inlet 246, the fluid split flow entering by the partition inlet 247 can form a stronger tangential fluid boost, so as to make the blades 222 of the turbine device 220A, 220B, 220C deploy faster. The position of the water conductor 242 may be adjusted according to the position of the blades 222 of the corresponding turbine device 220A, 220B, 220C to be deployed. In addition, the flow rate of the diverted fluid may be adjusted by adjusting the distance between each water conductor 242 and the corresponding separator 241. For example, when the water conductor 242 is close to one separator 241, the space formed by the water conductor 242 and the separator 241 is small, and the flow rate of the diverted flow of the inflowing fluid is small. Conversely, when the water conductor 242 is farther away from one separator 241, the space formed by the water conductor 242 and the separator 241 is large, and the flow rate of the diverted flow of the inflowing fluid is large.
[0031] In some embodiments, each turbine device 220A, 220B, 220C further includes a plurality of anti-friction units 233, which are respectively provided on the arcuate convex surfaces 230 of the blades 222. The anti-friction units 233 are, for example, rollers or smooth coatings. When the blades 222 rotate until they touch the adjacent separators 241, the corresponding anti-friction units 233 contact the contact surfaces of the separators 241, thereby reducing the friction force.
[0032] In some embodiments, the flow path structure group 240 further includes a plurality of anti-friction units (not shown). Each of these anti-friction units is provided on the contact surface of each of these separators 241. Each anti-friction unit is, for example, a row of rollers or a smooth coating. When the blades 222 of the contained turbine devices 220A, 220B, 220C rotate and touch the adjacent separators 241, the blades 222 touch the anti-friction units on the contact surface of the adjacent separators 241 to reduce the friction force.
[0033] Each one-way transmission mechanism 300 includes a one-way transmission wheel 310 and a transmission unit 320. The one-way transmission wheel 310 is provided on the rotating shaft 228 of one of the turbine devices 220A, 220B, 220C. The one-way transmission wheel 310 is configured for unidirectional rotation transmission, for example, a ratcheting freewheel mechanism, a combination of a one-way bearing and a gear, or a combination of a one-way bearing and a pulley. In the combination of a one-way bearing and a gear, a one-way bearing is provided at the center of the gear, and in the combination of a one-way bearing and a pulley, a one-way bearing is provided at the center of the pulley. The transmission unit 320 is provided between the rotating shaft 228 of another turbine device 220A, 220B, 220C and the one-way transmission wheel 310. The transmission unit 320 is configured to transmit power. The transmission unit 320 transmits the power generated by the installed turbine devices 220A, 220B, 220C to the corresponding one-way transmission wheel 310. The structure of the transmission unit 320 cooperates with the structure of the corresponding one-way transmission wheel 310, and is, for example, a combination of a gear 321 and a chain 322, a combination of a pulley and a belt, or a gear group. A gear group is a combination of a plurality of gears meshing with each other two by two. When the one-way transmission wheel 310 is a ratchet type freewheel mechanism or a combination of a one-way bearing and a gear, the transmission unit 320 is a combination of a gear 321 and a chain 322, or a gear group, and when the one-way transmission wheel 310 is a combination of a one-way bearing and a pulley, the transmission unit 320 is a combination of a pulley and a belt. The one-way transmission mechanism 300 is configured to transmit electric power to the one-way transmission wheel 310 via the transmission unit 320 only when the rotating shaft 228 on which the transmission unit 320 is provided rotates in a single rotational direction, so that the rotating shaft 228 on which the one-way transmission wheel 310 is provided also rotates in a rotational direction. In the example of Fig. 1, two one-way transmission mechanisms 300 are arranged. One one-way transmission mechanism 300 is provided in the turbine apparatuses 220A and 220B, and a one-way transmission wheel 310 is provided in the turbine apparatus 220B. Another one-way transmission mechanism 300 is provided in the turbine apparatuses 220B and 220C, and a one-way transmission wheel 310 is provided in the turbine apparatus 220B.The rotating shaft 228 of the turbine device 220B provided with the one-way transmission wheel 310 is connected to the rotating shaft 410 of the generator 400. The electric power generated by the turbine device 220B rotating in the rotation direction is directly transmitted to the generator 400. When the rotating shafts 228 of these turbine devices 220A and 220C rotate in the rotation direction, these turbine devices 220A and 220C transmit the generated electric power to the corresponding one-way transmission wheel 310 via the installed transmission unit 320, and then to the installed rotating shaft 228 via the corresponding one-way transmission wheel 310, and further to the generator 400. The electric power generated by these turbine devices 220A and 220C is integrated in parallel via these one-way transmission mechanisms 300 and transmitted to the generator 400.
[0034] Only when the rotation speed of these turbine devices 220A, 220C is equal to or higher than that of the turbine device 220B and rotates together with the turbine device 220B, the turbine devices 220A, 220C share the force of rotating the turbine device 220B, which is provided with the one-way transmission wheel 310 and connected to the generator 400, by the transmission of the one-way transmission mechanism 300, so that the turbine device 220B rotates more easily. Therefore, the configuration of the one-way transmission mechanism 300 may be appropriately adjusted by generating different component forces for the multiple turbine devices 220A, 220B, 220C installed at different fluid positions so as to achieve an optimal integration effect.
[0035] It should be noted that the one-way transmission mechanism 300 is not only provided on the rotating shaft 228 of the turbine devices 220A, 220B, 220C having the blades 222, but in some embodiments, the one-way transmission mechanism 300 is provided on the rotating shaft of the power device, and is configured to rotate the rotating shaft and generate electricity when the power device is driven. The power device may be a water wheel.
[0036] 7 is a schematic diagram of a power integration system of a power generation system for integrating power in parallel according to some embodiments of the present invention. In this example, there are four power devices 710A, 710B, 710C, 710D and three one-way transmission mechanisms 720. When driven, the power devices 710A, 710B, 710C, 710D are configured to rotate a rotating shaft 711 to generate power. The structure of the one-way transmission mechanism 720 is similar to that of the one-way transmission mechanism 300 described above, and therefore will not be described here.
[0037] In Fig. 7, one one-way transmission mechanism 720 is provided in the power devices 710A and 710B, and a one-way transmission wheel 721 is provided in the power device 710B. Another one-way transmission mechanism 720 is provided in the power devices 710B and 710C, and a one-way transmission wheel 721 is provided in the power device 710B. Another one-way transmission mechanism 720 is provided in the power devices 710B and 710D, and a one-way transmission wheel 721 is provided in the power device 710B. The rotating shaft 711 of the power device 710B provided with the one-way transmission wheel 721 is connected to the rotating shaft (not shown) of the generator. The electric power generated by the rotation of the power device 710B in the rotation direction is directly transmitted to the generator. When the rotating shafts 711 of these power devices 710A, 710C, 710D rotate in the rotation direction, these power devices 710A, 710C, 710D transmit the generated electric power to the corresponding one-way transmission wheel 721 through the installed transmission unit 722, and then to the rotating shaft 711 of the installed power device 710B through the corresponding one-way transmission wheel 721, and further to the generator. The electric power generated by these power devices 710A, 710B, 710C, 710D is integrated in parallel by these one-way transmission mechanisms 720 and transmitted to the generator.
[0038] 8 is a schematic diagram of a power integration system of a power generation system for serially integrating power according to some embodiments of the present invention. In this example, there are four power devices 810A, 810B, 810C, 810D and three one-way transmission mechanisms 820. When driven, the power devices 810A, 810B, 810C, 810D are configured to rotate a rotating shaft 811 to generate power. The structure of the one-way transmission mechanism 820 is similar to that of the one-way transmission mechanism 300 described above, and therefore will not be described here.
[0039] In FIG. 8, one one-way transmission mechanism 820 is provided in the electric power devices 810A and 810B, and a one-way transmission wheel 821 is provided in the electric power device 810A. Another one-way transmission mechanism 820 is provided in the electric power devices 810B and 810C, and a one-way transmission wheel 821 is provided in the electric power device 810B. Another one-way transmission mechanism 820 is provided in the electric power devices 810C and 810D, and a one-way transmission wheel 821 is provided in the electric power device 810C. The rotating shafts 811 of the electric power devices 810A, 810B, and 810C provided with the one-way transmission wheel 821 may be connected to a rotating shaft (not shown) of a generator. In this example, a case where the electric power device 810A is connected to the rotating shaft of the generator will be described as an example. The electric power generated by the electric power device 810A rotating in the rotation direction is directly transmitted to the generator. When the rotating shafts 811 of these electric power devices 810B, 810C, and 810D rotate in the rotation direction, the generated electric power is transmitted to the corresponding one-way transmission wheels 821 through the transmission units 822 provided respectively, and then transmitted to the provided rotating shafts 811 through the corresponding one-way transmission wheels 821, and then further integrated in series and transmitted to the generator. That is, the electric power of the electric power device 810D is transmitted to the electric power device 810C through the one-way transmission mechanism 820, and after the electric power is integrated in the electric power device 810C, it is transmitted to the electric power device 810B through the one-way transmission mechanism 820, and after the electric power is integrated in the electric power device 810B, it is transmitted to the electric power device 810A through the one-way transmission mechanism 820, and after the electric power is integrated in the electric power device 810A, it is transmitted to the generator. The power generated by these power devices 810A, 810B, 810C, and 810D is integrated in series via a single power transmission path by these one-way transmission mechanism 820 and transmitted to a generator, which is connected to the rotating shaft 811 of the power device 810A, which is located at the end point of the single power transmission path and is provided with a one-way transmission wheel 821.
[0040] By consolidating the power using the one-way transmission mechanism, the power device only needs to be installed at an appropriate position, and the power may be connected in series or parallel, making the installation of the power device easier and reducing the number of generators required. Furthermore, by simultaneously sharing the impact force of the fluid among multiple power devices, damage to the power device is reduced. In some embodiments, the power consolidation system may be integrated with other systems that use fluid to generate power, such as a wind power generation system, to consolidate and generate power from multiple wind turbines.
