Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a nozzle for an ultrasonic atomizer, and more particularly to a nozzle for an ultrasonic atomizer that can be set at a blowing angle that scatters mist a desired distance and that does not cause the nozzle to become clogged with condensed water. [Background technology]
[0002] Ultrasonic atomizers generate fine mist by applying a high-frequency voltage to an ultrasonic vibrator to generate high-frequency vibration energy, and have become increasingly popular in recent years due to their quietness and simplicity of operation (Patent Document 1, Patent Document 2, Patent Document 3).
[0003] When using an ultrasonic vibrator to atomize water, if the water temperature is low and the mist is cold, the mist does not evaporate easily and may fall to the ground and wet the surface on which it is placed, such as a table or floor. For this reason, the mist outlet angle is often set to an upward angle of 45 degrees or more.
[0004] Recently, high-nozzle ultrasonic atomizers, which spray after lifting the nozzle to a high position, have been attracting attention. With high-nozzle ultrasonic atomizers, the spray angle can be set to maximize the diffusion distance without worrying about wetting the installation surface due to the falling mist. [0005] [Patent Document 1] Utility Model Application No. 2-124420 [Patent Document 2] Special table number 2011-513697 [Patent Document 3] Patent Publication No. 2016-50686 DISCLOSURE OF THEINVENTION [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] However, when a high nozzle is installed on an ultrasonic atomizer placed on a table, the nozzle is close to the ceiling, and there is a risk that the ceiling may be wetted with conventional spray angles.
[0007] Furthermore, when an ultrasonic atomizer is set to a blow angle that will achieve the desired diffusion distance, the nozzle blow gradient becomes gentle, which can cause water droplets that have condensed at the tip of the nozzle to fly out of the nozzle and wet the installation surface, or the blowing air pressure and the weight of the condensed water droplets to balance, ultimately clogging the nozzle.
[0008] In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a nozzle for an ultrasonic atomizer that can set the blowing angle to scatter the mist a desired distance and that prevents the nozzle from being clogged with condensed water. [Means for solving the problem]
[0009] Therefore, the nozzle for an ultrasonic atomizer according to the present invention is an ultrasonic atomizer that receives water in a water supply tank, atomizes it with an ultrasonic vibrator, circulates the atomized mist in a flow passage by air blowing from a blower, and sprays it to the outside from a nozzle, and is characterized in that it is equipped with a guide passage attached to the tip of the flow passage, and a nozzle body in which a plurality of nozzle units each having an L-shape in plan are stacked up and down in multiple stages, the plurality of nozzle units are connected to the tip of the guide passage at the center of the L shape, and both ends of the L shape of the nozzle unit serve as mist outlets, while at least one of the plurality of nozzle units is rotatable so as to spray mist in different directions, the plurality of nozzle units extend obliquely upward, for example, linearly (or curved upward in side view) with respect to the guide passage at an angle that allows condensed water in the nozzle units to return under their own weight against the air pressure from the blower toward the flow passage, and a plurality of guide rib portions are formed on the inner surface of the nozzle unit to guide the return of the condensed water under its own weight toward the flow passage by attenuating the surface tension of the condensed water.
[0010] One of the features of the present invention is that the nozzle unit is oriented obliquely upward with respect to the guide passage at an angle that allows the condensation water to flow back into the flow passage under its own weight against the air pressure, and that a number of guide ribs are formed on the inner surface of the nozzle unit to reduce the surface tension of the condensation water and guide the return flow under its own weight toward the flow passage. As a result, the mist outlet of the nozzle unit will not be blocked by condensed water, and the condensed water will not be splashed outward due to the air pressure from the blower.
[0011] Another feature of the present invention is that a plurality of L-shaped nozzle units are stacked vertically in multiple stages, and the mist outlet of at least one of the nozzle units can be rotated. This allows the atomized mist to be sprayed in different directions, allowing the mist to be sprayed onto a desired area.
[0012] The number of nozzle units is not particularly limited, but it is preferable to stack two nozzle units vertically in two stages and rotate the upper nozzle unit relative to the lower nozzle unit. In this case, the nozzle unit can be configured to spray mist in two directions at 90° intervals when installed in a corner, in three directions at 90° intervals when installed on a wall, and in four directions at 90° or 45° intervals when installed in any position.
[0013] The angle of the nozzle unit may be any upward angle relative to the guide passage that allows the condensed water in the nozzle unit to flow back under its own weight toward the flow passage against the air pressure, and among the upward angles, it is preferable to select an angle that maximizes the distance the mist disperses. For example, it is preferable to select the angle of the nozzle unit within the range of 20 degrees to 35 degrees so that the mist scattering distance is maximized.
[0014] In an ultrasonic atomizer equipped with a high nozzle having the structure of the present invention, if the operation of the blower is stopped immediately after atomization by the ultrasonic vibrator is stopped, the atomized mist will remain in the circulation passage and guide passage, and may flow back into the blower and damage it.
[0015] Therefore, it is desirable that an ultrasonic atomizer in which the nozzle body of the present invention is used is equipped with a control circuit that continues operating the blower for a predetermined period of time, for example 5 seconds, after the ultrasonic vibrator has stopped and then stops the operation of the blower. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0017] The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the specific examples shown in the drawings. Figures 1 to 8 show a preferred embodiment of a nozzle for an ultrasonic atomizer according to the present invention. In the drawings, the ultrasonic atomizer has a liquid tank, an ultrasonic vibrator, a blower, a flow pipe, and a control device built into a casing 10.
[0018] In addition, reference numeral 11 denotes an air intake for the blower, 12 denotes an operation switch for the blower, 13 denotes a control switch for the ultrasonic vibrator, and 14 denotes a lighting switch. The control device receives signals from the blower operation switch 12 and the ultrasonic vibrator operation switch 13, atomizes the liquid in the liquid tank into a fine mist 30 using the high-frequency vibration energy of the ultrasonic vibrator, and sprays the mist 30 outward from the circulation pipe by the air blown by the blower.
[0019] Furthermore, a guide pipe 15 of a predetermined length is connected to the flow pipe of the ultrasonic atomizer, the guide pipe 15 stands upright in the casing 10 of the ultrasonic atomizer, and a nozzle body 16 is connected to the tip of the guide pipe 15.
[0020] The nozzle body 16 is composed of two nozzle units 19 and 20 and a base pipe 18 . The base pipe 18 is fitted into the guide pipe 15 , and the two nozzle units 19 and 20 are connected to the base pipe 18 .
[0021] The two nozzle units 19, 20 form a flat L-shape and are stacked one above the other in two tiers. The lower nozzle unit 19 is fixed to the base pipe 18 at the center of the L shape, and the upper nozzle unit 20 is rotatably attached to the lower nozzle unit 19 at the center of the L shape.
[0022] Both ends of the L-shape of the two nozzle units 19, 20 form mist outlets, and the two nozzle units 19, 20 extend straight upward or curve upward in side view at an oblique upward angle relative to the guide pipe 15 so that the condensed water in the nozzle units 19, 20 can be returned by its own weight toward the circulation pipe 15 against the air pressure from the blower, preferably at an angle within the range of 20 degrees to 35 degrees which maximizes the scattering distance of the mist.
[0023] In addition, a plurality of guide ribs 22 for guiding condensed water are formed on the inner surface of the nozzle units 19, 20, extending in the direction of flow of the mist, and by reducing the surface tension of the condensed water in the mist, the condensed water is prevented from becoming spherical, and the condensed water is returned by its own weight toward the flow pipe 15.
[0024] Furthermore, the control device is provided with a control circuit that continues operation of the blower for a predetermined time, for example, 5 seconds, after the ultrasonic vibrator is stopped, and then stops operation of the blower. As a result, the operation of the blower continues immediately after atomization by the ultrasonic vibrator is stopped, and the atomized mist remaining in the circulation pump and guide pipe 15 is discharged to the outside by the blower, and the mist does not flow back into the blower and damage it.
[0025] The configuration of the ultrasonic atomizer is similar to that of a conventionally known one, and therefore a detailed description thereof will be omitted.
[0026] When the ultrasonic atomizer of this example is placed on a table and the operating switches 12, 13, and 14 are operated, the control device receives signals from the blower operating switch 12 and the ultrasonic transducer operating switch 13, and atomizes the liquid in the liquid tank into a fine mist using the high-frequency vibration energy of the ultrasonic transducer. The mist is then pressurized by the air from the blower into the distribution pipe 15, and passed through the base pipe 18 so that it is sprayed outward from the mist outlets of the nozzle units 19 and 20.
[0027] At this time, by rotating the upper nozzle unit 20, the upper and lower nozzle units 19, 20 can be made to spray mist 30 in two directions at 90° intervals when installed in a corner, for example, in three directions at 90° intervals when installed on a wall, in four directions at 90° intervals as shown in Figure 7 when installed in an arbitrary position, or in four directions at 45° intervals as shown in Figure 8.
[0028] Furthermore, the nozzle units 19, 20 are oriented at an obliquely upward angle relative to the guide pipe 15 so that the condensed water can return under its own weight to the flow pipe 15 against the blower air pressure, and a plurality of guide ribs 22 are formed on the inner surface of the nozzle units 19, 20. This reduces the surface tension of the condensed water, making it less likely to become spherical, and the condensed water is guided by the guide ribs 22 and returns under its own weight towards the guide pipe 15. This means that the mist outlets of the nozzle units 19, 20 are not blocked by the condensed water, and the condensed water is not scattered outward due to the blower air pressure.
[0029] Furthermore, since the blower's air pressure can be controlled appropriately without being strong, even if the spray height of the mist 30 shown in Figure 4 is lower than that of the normal nozzle shown in Figure 2, the same scattering distance can be obtained, and there is also no risk of the sprayed mist 30 wetting the ceiling.
