Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] However, in the technique described in Patent Document 1, the lower surface of the front grille composed of the outer grille and the inner grille and the surface of the member adjacent to the lower part of the front grille are arranged facing each other with a gap in the vertical direction (see the lower left part of FIG. 6 in Patent Document 1). For this reason, the aesthetics of the vehicle may be deteriorated by the gap. Further, the member adjacent to the front grille and the front grille are arranged with a gap also in the front-rear direction and do not contact each other (see the lower left part of FIG. 6 in Patent Document 1). For this reason, the relative positions of the member adjacent to the front grille and the front grille are not fixed to each other. If the relative positions of the member adjacent to the front grille and the front grille are displaced, the aesthetics of the vehicle will be deteriorated.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0005] The present disclosure can be realized in the following forms. An attachment structure of an outer grille that is exposed to the outside when attached to a vehicle, an inner grille that is arranged behind the outer grille and constitutes a front grille together with the outer grille, and an adjacent component that is exposed to the outside at a position adjacent to the front grille of the vehicle, wherein the outer grille includes an outer front surface portion that is exposed to the outside, an outer wall portion that extends rearward at an end of the outer front surface portion, which is adjacent to a portion of the adjacent component that is exposed to the outside, and an outer convex portion that protrudes toward the adjacent component along the extension direction of the outer front surface portion at the base of the outer wall portion, the adjacent component includes a first adjacent portion and a second adjacent portion that are arranged with the outer wall portion therebetween, the first adjacent portion being arranged rearward of the outer front surface portion, and the second adjacent portion having a part that is exposed to the outside at a position adjacent to the outer front surface portion, the inner grille includes a first inner portion and a second inner portion that are arranged with a part of the outer wall portion, a part of the first adjacent portion, and a part of the second adjacent portion therebetween, the first inner portion having a part arranged rearward of the first adjacent portion, and the second inner portion having a part arranged rearward of the second adjacent portion, at least one of the first inner portion and the second inner portion includes an inner wall portion facing forward, the first adjacent portion has a first adjacent wall portion that extends rearward, the second adjacent portion has a second adjacent wall portion that extends rearward at an end of the second adjacent portion that is adjacent to the outer front surface portion, and a part of the second adjacent wall portion is located behind the outer convex portion, an attachment structure in which one or both of the rear ends of the first adjacent wall portion and the rear end of the second adjacent wall portion are in contact with the inner wall portion.
[0006] (1) According to one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided an attachment structure of an outer grille that is exposed to the outside when attached to a vehicle, an inner grille that is arranged rearward of the outer grille and constitutes a front grille together with the outer grille, and an adjacent component that is exposed to the outside at a position adjacent to the front grille in the vehicle. The outer grill includes an outer front surface portion that is exposed to the outside, an outer wall portion that extends rearward at an end of the outer front surface portion, which is adjacent to a portion of the adjacent component that is exposed to the outside, and an outer convex portion that protrudes toward the adjacent component along the extension direction of the outer front surface portion at the base of the outer wall portion. The adjacent components are a first adjacent portion and a second adjacent portion that are arranged with the outer wall portion therebetween, the first adjacent portion having at least a part thereof arranged rearward with respect to the outer front surface portion, and the second adjacent portion having a part thereof exposed to the outside at a position adjacent to the outer front surface portion. The inner grill includes a first inner portion and a second inner portion that are arranged with at least a part of the outer wall portion, a part of the first adjacent portion, and a part of the second adjacent portion therebetween, the first inner portion having at least a part thereof arranged rearward with respect to the first adjacent portion, and the second inner portion having at least a part thereof arranged rearward with respect to the second adjacent portion. At least one of the first inner portion and the second inner portion includes an inner wall portion facing forward. The first adjacent portion has a first adjacent wall portion that extends rearward. The second adjacent portion is a second adjacent wall portion that extends rearward at an end of the second adjacent portion that is adjacent to the outer front surface portion among the ends of the second adjacent portion, and at least a part of the second adjacent wall portion is located behind the outer convex portion. One or both of the rear end of the first adjacent wall portion and the rear end of the second adjacent wall portion are in contact with the inner wall portion. In such a configuration, at a portion where the outer grill and the adjacent component, which are adjacent to each other and exposed to the outside, are close to each other, at least a part of the second adjacent wall portion of the adjacent component is located behind the outer convex portion that protrudes toward the adjacent component in the outer grill. Therefore, at the portion where the outer grill and the adjacent component are close to each other, the gap between the outer grill and the adjacent component is less likely to be visually recognized from the outside. Thus, the gap between the outer grill and the adjacent component is less likely to degrade the appearance of the vehicle. Further, one or both of the rear end of the first adjacent wall portion and the rear end of the second adjacent wall portion of the adjacent component are in contact with the inner wall portion of the inner grill. Therefore, the adjacent component and the inner grill are fixed to each other and are less likely to be displaced relative to each other. Thus, the relative displacement between the adjacent component and the inner grill is less likely to degrade the appearance of the vehicle. (2) In the mounting structure of the above form, the outer wall portion has a through hole, and at least one of the first inner portion and the second inner portion is provided with a claw portion that can be received in the through hole. In such a mode, the relative movement of the outer grill and the inner grill is restricted by the through hole of the outer wall portion of the outer grill and the claw portion of the inner grill received in the through hole. Further, at least a part of the inner grill is arranged behind the adjacent component, and a part of the adjacent component is arranged behind the outer grill. That is, the adjacent component is restricted in movement by the inner grill and the outer grill. Therefore, in the above mode, the relative positions of the adjacent component, the inner grill, and the outer grill can be determined with a simple structure. (3) In the mounting structure of the above form, the inner grill further includes a third inner portion and a fourth inner portion arranged sandwiching at least a part of the outer wall portion, and the third inner portion and the fourth inner portion face each other in a direction different from the direction in which the first inner portion and the second inner portion face each other. If such a mode is adopted, the positions of the outer wall portion of the outer grill can be restricted from two mutually different directions by the first inner portion and the second inner portion, and the third inner portion and the fourth inner portion. Therefore, the outer grill is less likely to be displaced relative to the inner grill. Thus, the possibility that the mutual displacement of the outer grill, the inner grill, and the adjacent component reduces the appearance of the vehicle is low. The present disclosure can also be realized in various forms other than the mounting structure. For example, it can be realized in forms such as a component mounting method or a vehicle manufacturing method.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0008] A. First Embodiment: FIG. 1 is a front view showing the front part of the automobile CR. The automobile CR includes an outer grill 100, an inner grill 200, and a bumper 500 at the front part of the automobile CR. The outer grill 100, the inner grill 200, and the bumper 500, together with a pair of headlights (not shown), constitute the design of the front part of the automobile CR.
[0009] The outer grill 100 is a plate-like member arranged at the center of the front part of the automobile CR (see the central part of FIG. 1). The outer grill 100 has a substantially rectangular outer shape with the vertical dimension smaller than the horizontal dimension.
[0010] In this specification, the "left direction" is the left direction assumed in the vehicle CR. The "right direction" is the right direction assumed in the vehicle CR. The "left direction" and the "right direction" are collectively referred to as the "left - right direction". The "upward direction" is the upward direction assumed in the vehicle CR. The "downward direction" is the downward direction assumed in the vehicle CR. The upward direction assumed in the vehicle CR coincides with the vertically upward direction. The downward direction assumed in the vehicle CR coincides with the vertically downward direction. The "upward direction" and the "downward direction" are collectively referred to as the "up - down direction". The "front direction" is the front direction assumed in the vehicle CR. The "rear direction" is the rear direction assumed in the vehicle CR. The "front direction" and the "rear direction" are collectively referred to as the "front - rear direction".
[0011] In FIG. 1, an X - axis, a Y - axis, and a Z - axis that are perpendicular to each other are shown. The Z - axis direction is vertically upward. The X - axis direction is the front direction of the vehicle. The Y - axis direction is the left direction of the vehicle. The X - axis, Y - axis, and Z - axis shown in the figures after FIG. 2 coincide with the X - axis, Y - axis, and Z - axis shown in FIG. 1.
[0012] The outer grill 100 is a member that is exposed to the outside when attached to the vehicle CR. Above the outer grill 100, the outer panel of the vehicle CR, so - called the bonnet, is in contact. Below the outer grill 100, a part of the inner grill 200 that is exposed to the outside is in contact. The outer grill 100 is fixed to the inner grill 200 at a plurality of locations. The mounting structure FS of the present embodiment is the mounting structure of the outer grill 100 and the bumper 500 that are fixed to the inner grill 200.
[0013] The outer grill 100 has a frame portion 100f and a mesh portion 100m (refer to the central portion of FIG. 1). The frame portion 100f is the portion that constitutes the outer edge of the outer grill 100. The mesh portion 100m is the portion surrounded by the frame portion 100f in the outer grill 100. The mesh portion 100m has a mesh structure. For ease of understanding the technology, in FIG. 1, the portion occupied by the mesh portion 100m is indicated by cross-hatching. That is, FIG. 1 does not accurately represent the shape and dimensions of the mesh portion 100m. The outer grill 100 is made of a transparent material. More specifically, the outer grill 100 is made of acrylic. The rear surface of the outer grill 100 is colored. As a result, when the outer grill 100 is viewed from the front, the color of the rear surface that is colored can be seen through the acrylic portion as the color of the outer grill 100.
[0014] The inner grill 200 is arranged behind the outer grill 100 and constitutes a front grill together with the outer grill 100. The inner grill 200 functions to hold the outer grill 100. The inner grill 200 functions to provide rigidity to the sub-assembly in which the outer grill 100, the inner grill 200, and the bumper 500 are combined. The inner grill 200 is made of ABS (Acrylonitrile, Butadiene, Styrene) resin. For this reason, the inner arm portion 210a of the inner grill 200 described later is more easily elastically deformed than the outer wall portion 120 of the outer grill 100 made of acrylic.
[0015] The bumper 500 is exposed to the outside at a position adjacent to the front grill in the automotive CR. The bumper 500 functions to absorb the impact applied to the automotive CR from the front. The bumper 500 is made of polypropylene.
[0016] FIG. 2 is an explanatory diagram showing the mounting structure FS of the outer grille 100, the inner grille 200, and the bumper 500. FIG. 2 is a partial cross-sectional view taken along line II-II in FIG. 1. FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram showing the mounting structure FS of the outer grille 100, the inner grille 200, and the bumper 500. FIG. 3 is a partial cross-sectional view taken along line III-III in FIG. 1.
[0017] The outer grille 100 includes an outer front portion 105, an outer wall portion 120, and an outer convex portion 110 (see the lower right portion, the upper central portion, and the central portion of FIG. 2). The outer front portion 105 is a portion that is exposed to the outside when the outer grille 100 is attached to the automobile CR.
[0018] The outer wall portion 120 is an end portion 105e of the outer front portion 105, and is a portion that extends rearward at the end portion 105e adjacent to the portion 505 exposed to the outside of the bumper 500 (see the upper central portion of FIG. 2). The outer wall portion 120 is a plane substantially parallel to the ZX plane. In this specification, "substantially parallel" means that the maximum value of the relative angle between the two planes is 20 degrees or less. The outer wall portion 120 has a substantially rectangular outer shape (see the central portion of FIG. 3). The outer wall portion 120 has a through hole 120h at the central portion. The through hole 120h receives the claw portion 210c of the inner grille 200. The through hole 120h has a substantially rectangular shape.
[0019] The outer convex portion 110 is a portion that protrudes toward the bumper 500 along the extension direction De of the outer front portion 105 at the base portion 120b of the outer wall portion 120 (see the central portion of FIG. 2). The outer convex portion 110 is provided along the outer edge of the portion extending in the vertical direction of the frame portion 100f of the outer grille 100 (see FIG. 1).
[0020] The bumper 500 includes a first adjacent portion 510 and a second adjacent portion 520 disposed sandwiching the outer wall portion 120 of the outer grill 100 (see the lower right and lower left portions of FIG. 2). The first adjacent portion 510 is disposed on the central portion side of the vehicle CR with respect to the outer wall portion 120. The first adjacent portion 510 is disposed rearward with respect to the outer front surface portion 105 of the outer grill 100 (see the lower right portion of FIG. 2). For ease of understanding of the technology, in FIG. 2, the first adjacent portion 510 and the outer grill 100 are shown separated. However, actually, the first adjacent portion 510 is in contact with the portion constituting the outer front surface portion 105 of the outer grill 100 from the rear.
[0021] The first adjacent portion 510 has a first adjacent wall portion 510w extending rearward (see the central portion of FIG. 2). The first adjacent wall portion 510w is a portion that extends rearward at the end of the first adjacent portion 510, which is the end adjacent to the second adjacent portion 520. The first adjacent wall portion 510w extends rearward along the outer wall portion 120 of the outer grill 100.
[0022] The second adjacent portion 520 is disposed on the side opposite to the first adjacent portion 510 in the left - right direction with respect to the outer wall portion 120 of the outer grill 100 (see the middle left portion of FIG. 2). A part 505 of the second adjacent portion 520 is exposed to the outside at a position adjacent to the outer front surface portion 105 of the outer grill 100 (see the lower left portion of FIG. 2).
[0023] The second adjacent portion 520 has a second adjacent wall portion 520w extending rearward at the end 520e adjacent to the outer front surface portion 105 among the left - right direction ends of the second adjacent portion 520 (see the central portion of FIG. 2). The adjacent wall portion 520w extends rearward along the outer wall portion 120 of the outer grill 100.
[0024] The second adjacent wall portion 520w bends in a direction approaching the first adjacent wall portion 510w and the outer wall portion 120 at a substantially central portion in the front-rear direction, and further bends rearward and extends rearward (see the central portion of FIG. 2). As a result, a part 520wp of the second adjacent wall portion 520w from the bent portion is located behind the outer convex portion 110 of the outer grill 100. A part 520wp of the second adjacent wall portion 520w from the bent portion extends rearward along the outer wall portion 120 of the outer grill 100. For ease of understanding of the technology, in FIG. 2, a part 520wp of the second adjacent wall portion 520w and the outer wall portion 120 of the outer grill 100 are explicitly shown separated from each other in the left-right direction. However, in reality, a part 520wp of the second adjacent wall portion 520w from the bent portion and the outer wall portion 120 of the outer grill 100 are in contact with each other or are arranged with a slight gap therebetween.
[0025] With such a configuration, at a site where the outer grill 100 and the bumper 500 that are adjacent to each other and exposed to the outside are close to each other, a part 520wp of the second adjacent wall portion 520w of the bumper 500 is located behind the outer convex portion 110 that protrudes toward the bumper 500 in the outer grill 100 (see the central portion of FIG. 2). Therefore, at a site where the outer grill 100 and the bumper 500 are close to each other, the gap between the outer grill 100 and the bumper 500 is difficult to be visually recognized from the outside. Thus, the gap between the outer grill 100 and the bumper 500 is less likely to deteriorate the aesthetics of the automobile CR.
[0026] With the above configuration, at a site where the outer grill 100 and the bumper 500 that are adjacent to each other and exposed to the outside are close to each other, the portion of the inner grill 200 that straddles the boundary between the two in the left-right direction will be located rearward away from the outer front surface portion 105 (see the upper central portion of FIG. 2). Therefore, a member that straddles the boundary between the outer grill 100 and the bumper 500 in the left-right direction is difficult to be visually recognized from the outside. Thus, the gap between the outer grill 100 and the bumper 500 is less likely to deteriorate the aesthetics of the automobile CR.
[0027] The inner grill 200 includes a first inner part 210 and a second inner part 220 (see the middle part of FIG. 2). The first inner part 210 and the second inner part 220 are arranged on both sides of a part of the outer wall part 120 of the outer grill 100, a part of the first adjacent part 510 of the bumper 500, and a part of the second adjacent part 520 of the bumper 500, sandwiching them.
[0028] A part of the second inner part 220 is arranged behind the second adjacent part 520 of the bumper 500 (see the upper left part of FIG. 2). The second inner part 220 includes an inner wall part 220w. The inner wall part 220w is a wall part facing forward. In this specification, when a wall part is "facing forward", it means that the direction perpendicular to the wall part includes the forward direction of the vehicle as a direction component. In this embodiment, the inner wall part 220w is perpendicular to the X-axis.
[0029] A part of the first inner part 210 is arranged behind the first adjacent part 510 of the bumper 500 (see the right part of FIG. 2). For ease of understanding of the technology, in FIG. 2, the first inner part 210 and the first adjacent part 510 of the bumper 500 are shown separated. However, actually, the part of the first inner part 210 located behind the first adjacent part 510 of the bumper 500 is in contact with the first adjacent part 510 of the bumper 500 from behind.
[0030] Another part of the first inner part 210, which is not located behind the first adjacent part 510 of the bumper 500 and is located behind the outer front surface part 105 of the outer grill 100, can be visually recognized from the front. The part of the first inner part 210 that can be visually recognized from the front constitutes the design of the front grill together with the outer grill 100 (see FIG. 1).
[0031] The first inner part 210 includes an inner wall part 210w, an inner arm part 210a, and a claw part 210c (see the central upper part of FIG. 2). The inner wall part 210w is a wall part facing forward. In the present embodiment, the inner wall part 210w is perpendicular to the X-axis. The inner wall part 210w of the first inner part 210 and the inner wall part 220w of the second inner part 220 face each other along the Y direction with a gap 200g therebetween in the Y-axis direction (see the central upper part of FIG. 2). The outer wall part 120 of the outer grill 100 reaches behind the inner wall part 210w and the inner wall part 220w from in front of the inner wall part 210w and the inner wall part 220w through the gap 200g between the inner wall part 210w and the inner wall part 220w.
[0032] The inner arm part 210a is a part that extends rearward at the end of the inner wall part 210w, at the end facing the second inner part 220 (see the central upper part of FIG. 2). The inner arm part 210a has a substantially quadrangular outer shape.
[0033] The claw part 210c is provided on the inner arm part 210a (see the central upper part of FIG. 2). The claw part 210c protrudes in the direction from the inner arm part 210a toward the second inner part 220. The claw part 210c is received in a through hole 120h provided in the outer wall part 120 of the outer grill 100. The claw part 210c penetrates the through hole 120h (see the central upper part of FIG. 2 and the central part of FIG. 3).
[0034] By adopting such a configuration, the through-hole 120h in the outer wall portion 120 of the outer grill 100 and the claw portion 210c of the inner grill 200 received in the through-hole 120h restrict the relative movement between the outer grill 100 and the inner grill 200 (see the upper central portion of FIG. 2 and the central portion of FIG. 3). Also, a part of the inner grill 200 is disposed behind the bumper 500, and a part of the bumper 500 is disposed behind the outer grill 100 (see the lower right portion of FIG. 2). That is, the bumper 500 is sandwiched between the inner grill 200 and the outer grill 100 and its movement is restricted. Therefore, according to the present embodiment, the relative positions of the bumper 500, the inner grill 200, and the outer grill 100 can be determined with a simple structure.
[0035] Further, in the present embodiment, in a state where the bumper 500, the inner grill 200, and the outer grill 100 are combined, the claw portion 210c of the inner grill 200 is pressed against the inner wall of the through-hole 120h of the outer grill 100 by the inner arm portion 210a that is slightly elastically deformed. More specifically, the claw portion 210c is pressed against the inner wall of the rear surface of the through-hole 120h by the elastically deformed inner arm portion 210a (see the upper central portion of FIG. 2 and FIG. 3). For this reason, the inner grill 200 and the outer grill 100 are pressed against each other by the elastic force and their relative positions are fixed. As a result, the relative positions of the bumper 500, the inner grill 200, and the outer grill 100 are fixed.
[0036] The rear end 510we of the first adjacent wall portion 510w of the bumper 500 and the rear end 520we of the second adjacent wall portion 520w are in contact with the inner wall portions 210w, 220w of the inner grill 200 (see the upper central portion of FIG. 2).
[0037] In such a configuration, the bumper 500 and the inner grille 200 are fixed to each other and are less likely to shift relative to each other. As a result, the relative displacement between the bumper 500 and the inner grille 200 is less likely to degrade the aesthetic appearance of the automotive CR (see Fig. 1). And as described above, the bumper 500 is sandwiched between the inner grille 200 and the outer grille 100 whose relative positions are fixed by elastic forces and pressed against each other (see Fig. 2). For this reason, the relative positions of the bumper 500, the inner grille 200, and the outer grille 100 are firmly determined.
[0038] The automotive CR in this embodiment is also referred to as a "vehicle". The bumper 500 is also referred to as an "adjacent component".
[0039] B. Second Embodiment: The mounting structure FS2 of the second embodiment is a mounting structure of the outer grille 100, the inner grille 200, and the bumper 500, and is a structure for fixing the three components to each other at a location different from that of the first embodiment (see the II-II cross-section of Fig. 1). In the mounting structure FS2 of the second embodiment, the inner wall portions 210w and 220w of the inner grille 200 do not face each other along the Y direction (see the central upper portion of Fig. 2). The rear end 520we of the second adjacent wall portion 520w of the bumper 500 does not contact the inner wall portion 220w of the inner grille 200 (see the central upper portion of Fig. 2). And the inner grille 200 includes a third inner portion 230 and a fourth inner portion 240. Other aspects of the mounting structure FS2 of the second embodiment are the same as those of the mounting structure FS of the first embodiment. For the components of the second embodiment corresponding to the components of the first embodiment, the same reference numerals as those attached to the components of the first embodiment are used.
[0040] Fig. 4 is an explanatory diagram showing the inner grille 200 among the mounting structure FS2 of the outer grille 100, the inner grille 200, and the bumper 500 of the second embodiment. In Fig. 4, a state in which the inner grille 200 is viewed from the front along the negative X-axis direction is shown.
[0041] In the second embodiment, the inner grill 200 includes a third inner part 230 and a fourth inner part 240 (see the central part of FIG. 4). The third inner part 230 and the fourth inner part 240 are arranged with the outer wall part 120 of the outer grill 100 disposed therebetween through the gap 200g between the first inner part 210 and the second inner part 220. For ease of understanding the technology, the outer wall part 120 of the outer grill 100 is not shown in FIG. 4.
[0042] The third inner part 230 and the fourth inner part 240 are arranged facing each other in a direction different from the direction in which the first inner part 210 and the second inner part 220 face each other. More specifically, the third inner part 230 and the fourth inner part 240 are arranged facing each other in the vertical direction. In contrast, the first inner part 210 and the second inner part 220 are arranged facing each other in the left - right direction (see the central part of FIG. 4).
[0043] The surfaces of the third inner part 230 and the fourth inner part 240 facing the positive X - axis direction, together with the inner wall part 220w of the second inner part 220, form a single plane. The plane formed by the inner wall part 220w, the third inner part 230, and the fourth inner part 240 has a through - hole 200h. This through - hole 200h is the gap 200g between the inner wall part 210w of the first inner part 210 and the inner wall part 220w of the second inner part 220 that face each other. The outer wall part 120 of the outer grill 100 reaches behind the inner wall part 210w, the inner wall part 220w, the third inner part 230, and the fourth inner part 240 through this through - hole 200h.
[0044] With such a configuration, the first inner part 210 and the second inner part 220, as well as the third inner part 230 and the fourth inner part 240, can limit the position of the outer wall part 120 of the outer grill 100 from different left - right and up - down directions. Therefore, the outer grill 100 is less likely to be displaced relative to the inner grill 200 in two directions, namely the left - right direction and the up - down direction. Thus, the possibility that the mutual displacement between the outer grill 100, the inner grill 200, and the bumper 500 reduces the aesthetics of the automotive CR is low.
[0045] Also, when assembling the outer grill 100, the inner grill 200, and the bumper 500, when inserting the outer wall portion 120 of the outer grill 100 into the through hole 200h of the inner grill 200, the outer wall portion 120 is guided. Therefore, the assembly of the outer grill 100, the inner grill 200, and the bumper 500 is easy.
[0046] FIG. 5 is an explanatory view showing the mounting structure FS2 of the outer grill 100, the inner grill 200, and the bumper 500 in the second embodiment. FIG. 5 corresponds to the V-V cross-sectional view in FIG. 4. FIG. 6 is an explanatory view showing the mounting structure FS of the outer grill 100, the inner grill 200, and the bumper 500 in the second embodiment. FIG. 6 corresponds to the VI-VI cross-sectional view in FIG. 4.
[0047] In the second embodiment, the inner wall portion 210w of the inner grill 200 is a step provided on the surface of the first inner portion 210 facing the second inner portion 220 (see the central portion of FIG. 5). In the second embodiment, the inner wall portion 210w is slightly oriented toward the center of the vehicle with respect to the front. Also in the second embodiment, the inner wall portion 210w is a wall portion facing the front. However, in the mounting structure FS2 of the second embodiment, the inner wall portion 210w of the inner grill 200 and the inner wall portion 220w do not face each other along the Y direction.
[0048] Also in the second embodiment, the rear end 510we of the first adjacent wall portion 510w of the bumper 500 is in contact with the inner wall portion 210w of the inner grill 200 (see the central portion of FIG. 5). On the other hand, in the second embodiment, the rear end 520we of the second adjacent wall portion 520w of the bumper 500 is not in contact with the inner wall portion 220w of the inner grill 200.
[0049] Even in such a configuration, the bumper 500 and the inner grill 200 are fixed to each other and are unlikely to shift relative to each other. As a result, the likelihood that the relative displacement between the bumper 500 and the inner grill 200 will degrade the aesthetics of the automotive CR is low (see FIG. 1).
[0050] Also in the second embodiment, the claw portion 210c of the inner grill 200 is received in a through hole 120h provided in the outer wall portion 120 of the outer grill 100 and penetrates the through hole 120h (see the upper central portion of FIG. 5 and the central portion of FIG. 6). And in a state where the bumper 500, the inner grill 200, and the outer grill 100 are combined, the claw portion 210c of the inner grill 200 is pressed against the inner wall of the through hole 120h of the outer grill 100 by the inner arm portion 210a that is slightly elastically deformed. For this reason, also according to the second embodiment, with a simple structure, the relative positions of the bumper 500, the inner grill 200, and the outer grill 100 can be determined.
[0051] C. Reference Example: FIG. 7 is an explanatory diagram showing an attachment structure FSC of an outer grill 100C, an inner grill 200C, and a bumper 500C in a reference example. FIG. 7 corresponds to FIG. 2 of the first embodiment and FIG. 5 of the second embodiment. For each configuration of the reference example corresponding to each configuration of the first embodiment, a C is added after the numerical part of the reference numeral assigned to each configuration of the first embodiment. Except for the differences described below, the attachment structure FSC of the reference example is the same as the attachment structure FS of the first embodiment.
[0052] Also in the reference example, the bumper 500C includes a second adjacent portion 520C that is located on the side opposite to the central side of the automotive CR with respect to the outer wall portion 120C of the outer grill 100C (see the left portion of FIG. 2). The second adjacent portion 520C has a second adjacent wall portion 520Cw that extends rearward at an end 520Ce adjacent to the outer front surface portion 105C among the left and right direction ends of the second adjacent portion 520C.
[0053] However, the second adjacent wall portion 520Cw faces the outer convex portion 110C of the outer grill 100C with a gap G in the left-right direction (see the central portion of FIG. 7). The second adjacent wall portion 520Cw is not located behind the outer convex portion 110C (see 520wp in FIG. 2). Instead, the second inner portion 220C of the inner grill 200 is located behind the outer convex portion 110C. Therefore, at the portion where the outer grill 100C and the bumper 500C are close to each other, the gap G between the outer grill 100C and the bumper 500C is easily visible from the outside. Thus, the gap G between the outer grill 100C and the bumper 500C degrades the appearance of the automobile CR.
[0054] On the other hand, in the mounting structure FS of the first embodiment and the mounting structure FS2 of the second embodiment, a part 520wp of the second adjacent wall portion 520w of the bumper 500 is located behind the outer convex portion 110 that protrudes toward the bumper 500 in the outer grill 100 (see the central portions of FIGS. 2 and 5). Therefore, the gap between the outer grill 100 and the bumper 500 is difficult to be visually recognized from the outside, and the gap between the outer grill 100 and the bumper 500 is less likely to degrade the appearance of the automobile CR.
[0055] Also in the reference example, the claw portion 210Cc of the first inner portion 210C is received in the through hole 120Ch provided in the outer wall portion 120C of the outer grill 100C. However, in the reference example, the bumper 500C is not arranged between the outer grill 100C and the inner grill 200. And the end portion of the bumper 500C does not contact the inner grill 200 (see the left portion of FIG. 7). Therefore, the bumper 500C and the inner grill 200C are not fixed to each other, and as a result, they are likely to be displaced relative to each other. Thus, the relative displacement between the bumper 500C and the inner grill 200C degrades the appearance of the automobile CR.
[0056] In contrast, in the first and second embodiments, the rear end 510we of the first adjacent wall portion 510w of the bumper 500 is in contact with the inner wall portion 210w of the inner grill 200 (see the central upper part of FIG. 2 and the central upper part of FIG. 5). Therefore, it is difficult for the bumper 500 and the inner grill 200 to be displaced relative to each other.
[0057] As described above, in the reference example, the relative positions of the bumper 500, the inner grill 200, and the outer grill 100 cannot be firmly determined. Therefore, in the reference example, in order to fix the bumper 500, the inner grill 200, and the outer grill 100 to each other with the same strength and accuracy as in the first and second embodiments, they need to be fixed to each other at more locations than in the first and second embodiments.
[0058] D. Other Embodiments: D1. Other Embodiment 1: (1) In the first embodiment described above, the outer grill 100 has a frame portion 100f and a mesh portion 100m (see FIG. 1). The mesh portion 100m has a mesh structure. However, the outer grill may have a plate-like structure without a mesh structure.
[0059] (2) In the first embodiment described above, the member that is exposed to the outside at a position adjacent to the front grill of the automobile CR in the left-right direction is the bumper 500 (see FIG. 1). However, the member that is exposed to the outside at a position adjacent to the front grill of the vehicle may be a member other than the bumper, such as a body panel.
[0060] (3) In the first embodiment described above, the first adjacent portion 510 of the bumper 500 is arranged behind the outer front surface portion 105 of the outer grill 100 (see the right part of FIG. 2). However, a part of the first adjacent portion 510 does not have to be arranged behind the outer front surface portion 105 of the outer grill 100.
[0061] (4) In the above-described first embodiment, a part 520wp of the second adjacent wall portion 520w beyond the bent portion is located behind the outer convex portion 110 of the outer grill 100 (see the upper left part of FIG. 2). However, the entire second adjacent wall portion may be located behind the outer convex portion of the outer grill.
[0062] (5) In the above-described first embodiment, a part of the first inner portion 210 of the inner grill 200 is arranged behind the first adjacent portion 510 of the bumper 500 as an adjacent member (see the right part of FIG. 2). However, the entire first inner portion of the inner grill may be arranged behind the first adjacent portion of the adjacent member.
[0063] (6) In the above-described first embodiment, a part of the second inner portion 220 of the inner grill 200 is arranged behind the second adjacent portion 520 of the bumper 500 as an adjacent member (see the left part of FIG. 2). However, a part of the second inner portion of the inner grill may be arranged behind the second adjacent portion of the adjacent member.
[0064] (7) In the above-described first embodiment, the first inner portion 210 and the second inner portion 220 are arranged sandwiching a part of the outer wall portion 120 of the outer grill 100 (see the upper left part of FIG. 2). However, the first inner portion and the second inner portion may be arranged sandwiching the entire outer wall portion of the outer grill. For example, the outer wall portion 120 may not reach behind the inner wall portion 210w of the first inner portion 210 and the inner wall portion 220w of the second inner portion 220.
[0065] (8) In the first embodiment described above, the first inner portion 210 of the inner grill 200 includes an inner wall portion 210w (see the central portion in the upper row of FIG. 2). The second inner portion 220 of the inner grill 200 includes an inner wall portion 220w (see the left portion in the upper row of FIG. 2). However, one of the first inner portion and the second inner portion of the inner grill may not include an inner wall portion facing forward. In such an aspect, the rear end 510we of the first adjacent wall portion 510w of the bumper 500 and the rear end 520we of the second adjacent wall portion 520w may not be in contact with the inner wall portion facing forward that the inner grill 200 has (see the central portion in the upper row of FIG. 2).
[0066] (9) In the first embodiment described above, the claw portion 210c of the inner grill 200 is pressed against the inner wall of the rear surface of the through hole 120h of the outer grill 100 by the elastically deformed inner arm portion 210a (see the central portion in the upper row of FIG. 2 and FIG. 3). However, the claw portion may be pressed against other inner walls such as the front surface, the upper surface, and the lower surface of the through hole of the outer grill by the inner arm portion. Further, the claw portion may not be pressed against the inner wall of the through hole of the outer grill.
[0067] (10) In the second embodiment described above, the third inner portion 230 and the fourth inner portion 240 are configured in a wall-like shape facing forward and are arranged sandwiching a part of the outer wall portion 120 (see the central portion in the upper row and the central portion in the lower row of FIG. 4). However, the third inner portion and the fourth inner portion may be arranged sandwiching the entire outer wall portion. For example, the third inner portion and the fourth inner portion may be configured as a pair of wall portions extending in the X-axis direction along the outer wall portion 120 while sandwiching the outer wall portion 120.
[0068] (11) In the above first embodiment, for the sake of facilitating the understanding of the technology, regarding the configuration located on the positive Z-axis side and the negative Z-axis side with respect to the gap 200g in the Y-axis direction between the inner wall portion 210w of the first inner portion 210 and the inner wall portion 220w of the second inner portion 220, no description has been made (refer to the central upper part of FIG. 2). However, also in the above first embodiment, a third inner portion 230 may be provided in the positive Z-axis direction and a fourth inner portion 240 may be provided in the negative Z-axis direction with respect to the gap 200g (refer to FIG. 4).
[0069] D2. Other Embodiment 2: In the above first embodiment, the first inner portion 210 of the outer grill 100 includes a claw portion 210c (refer to the upper left part of FIG. 2). The claw portion 210c is received in a through hole 120h provided in the outer wall portion 120 of the outer grill 100 (refer to FIG. 3). However, the first inner portion of the outer grill may also be configured not to include a claw portion. For example, the mounting structure may be such that the outer wall portion 120 of the outer grill 100 is held with both sides sandwiched by the first adjacent portion 510 and the second adjacent portion 520 of the bumper 500.
[0070] D3. Other Embodiment 3: In the second embodiment, the inner grill 200 includes a third inner portion 230 and a fourth inner portion 240 (refer to the central upper part and the central lower part of FIG. 4). The third inner portion 230 and the fourth inner portion 240 are arranged facing each other in the vertical direction. However, the inner grill may also be configured not to include a third inner portion and a fourth inner portion. For example, the gap between the inner wall portion 210w of the first inner portion 210 and the inner wall portion 220w of the second inner portion 220 may be open in the vertical direction.
[0071] The present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and can be implemented in various configurations without departing from the gist thereof. For example, the technical features of the embodiments corresponding to the technical features in each form described in the summary of the invention can be appropriately replaced or combined in order to solve some or all of the above-described problems, or to achieve some or all of the above-described effects. Further, if the technical feature is not described as essential in this specification, it can be appropriately deleted.
