To provide a mechanism of properly fixing photographic horizontal and vertical directions in photographing a subject that requires distinguishing horizontal and vertical directions.SOLUTION: An information processor comprises: photographing means for photographing with switching of photographic horizontal and vertical directions depending on the state of the information processor; mode determination means for determining a photographing mode including the photographic horizontal and vertical directions; fixation determination means for determining whether to fix the photographic horizontal and vertical directions corresponding to the determined photographing mode; and switching control means for, when the photographing means photographs, controlling the switching of the photographic horizontal and vertical directions depending on the state of the information processor according to the result determined by the fixation determination means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
