[0012] Referring to Figure 1, in a preferred embodiment of the invention, a seat 1 comprises a backrest 2, a base 3 for a user to sit on, and a tilt adjustment device 4. This is shown in Figure 5, where the rail arc is based on a larger radius curvature 25 that leads to a smaller radius curvature 26. The embodiment of Figure 5 is a wheelchair, and in principle, each section functions in the same or substantially the same way as described above. However, due to the change in curvature, the arrangement of the rollers 16 has been modified. As shown, the rollers are divided into two sets of four on each side of the seat. 1.
