In this embodiment, the through-hole 10 is formed by irradiating the sheet member 110 with laser light and partially removing the backing layer 5, adhesive layer 4, reinforcing layer 2, and veneer 1. In this embodiment, a CO2 laser with a wavelength of 10.6 μm is used for laser irradiation. Note that the type of laser and laser wavelength are not limited to the conditions described above, and various types of lasers can be used at any wavelength.
