Cleaning apparatus and cleaning method

Abstract

There is a need for technology that can eliminate the influence of air bubbles from measurement results and accurately determine the level of cleanliness. [Solution] A cleaning device for cleaning containers, comprising: a storage section for accommodating containers; a nozzle for discharging cleaning liquid to containers accommodating the storage section; a drainage channel for draining the cleaning liquid discharged to the containers; a cleaning liquid measuring section for measuring the absorbance of the cleaning liquid drained from the drainage channel; and a control device, wherein the control device performs a first determination step of determining whether or not the cleaning liquid contains air bubbles based on the absorbance; and a second determination step of determining whether or not the cleaning liquid is clean based on the absorbance of the cleaning liquid that was determined not to contain air bubbles in the first determination step.
