Abstract
To provide a tuned mass damper, etc., which is easily tuned to a target eigen frequency while using a viscoelastic member.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a tuned mass damper for suppressing vertical vibration of a damping target by vertically vibrating a mass body disposed above or below the damping target while being tuned to the vertical vibration of the damping target. The tuned mass damper comprises: a viscoelastic member which is directly or indirectly provided in the damping target and supports the mass body; at least three elastic members which are provided in parallel with the viscoelastic member and disposed at positions farther from a centroid of the mass body than the viscoelastic member and support the mass body; and a spring for adjustment capable of adjusting an eigen frequency of the tuned mass damper.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
