Abstract
Description
Vehicle door structure
[0001] The present invention relates to a vehicle door structure.
[0002] Patent Document 1 discloses an in-vehicle speaker device in which a speaker unit is fixed to the wall surface on the inside of a vehicle door. This in-vehicle speaker device includes a low-rigidity annular sound-insulating material disposed between the speaker unit and the wall surface on the inside of the door, thereby reducing the reaction force acting on the door wall as a reaction to speaker vibrations during audio playback and suppressing wall vibration. It also discloses that this in-vehicle speaker device includes a weight attached to the yoke of the speaker unit via an elastic body such as rubber with high damping properties, thereby suppressing vibration of the speaker unit and the door wall that vibrates along with it.
[0003] Japanese Patent Publication No. 8-84389
[0004] The door trim, which is the interior lining of the vehicle, is supported by a bracket on the inner panel. Therefore, when the speaker plays, vibrations transmitted from the speaker to the inner panel are transmitted to the door trim via the bracket, which may cause unpleasant vibrations to be felt by vehicle occupants. The discomfort caused by the transmission of vibrations to the door trim is difficult to prevent simply by suppressing the vibrations of the inner panel, which is the wall surface of the door, as in the in-vehicle speaker device described in Patent Document 1.
[0005] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a vehicle door structure that can suppress transmission of vibrations to the door trim when a speaker sounds, thereby achieving a comfortable in-vehicle environment.
[0006] The present invention has the following configuration: A vehicle door structure comprising: an inner panel, a speaker attached to the inner panel, a door trim arranged on the inner side of the inner panel, a bracket arranged between the inner panel and the door trim and connecting the inner panel and the door trim, and a weight member attached to the inner panel, the weight member being arranged near the bracket.
[0007] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a vehicle door structure that can suppress transmission of vibrations to the door trim when a speaker is sounding, thereby achieving a comfortable in-vehicle environment.

[0009] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is a plan view of an inner panel 13 equipped with a vehicle door structure according to this embodiment, as viewed from the outside in the vehicle width direction. Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line II-II in Fig. 1. In Figs. 1 and 2, the symbol FR indicates the front of the vehicle, the symbol UP indicates the upper side of the vehicle, and the symbol HL indicates the vehicle width direction.
[0010] As shown in Figure 1, the vehicle door structure according to this embodiment is applied to a door 11 of a vehicle such as an automobile. The door 11 has an inner panel 13. The inner panel 13 has, at its upper portion, a window frame 15 that is opened and closed by a glass plate (not shown).
[0011] An outer panel (not shown) is provided on the outer side of the inner panel 13 in the vehicle width direction. As shown in Fig. 2, a door trim 14 is provided on the inner side in the vehicle width direction. The inner panel 13 and the outer panel are formed, for example, from a steel plate, and the door trim 14 is formed, for example, from a resin. The door 11 is composed of the inner panel 13, the outer panel, and the door trim 14.
[0012] The inner panel 13 has a flat portion 21 and a bulging portion 23 that bulges outward in the vehicle width direction from the flat portion 21. The bulging portion 23 bulges outward in the vehicle width direction in the central portion of the inner panel 13, and the edge of this bulging portion 23 forms a step portion 25.
[0013] The inner panel 13 has a mounting hole 27 and multiple holes 29A, 29B, 29C, and 29D. The mounting hole 27 is formed in the flat portion 21 of the inner panel 13. The holes 29A, 29B, and 29C are formed in the bulging portion 23 of the inner panel 13, and the hole 29D is formed in the flat portion 21 of the inner panel 13. The multiple holes 29A, 29B, 29C, and 29D are service holes used when performing various operations, such as installing a glass plate or an elevating mechanism that raises and lowers the glass plate, on the inner panel 13. These holes 29A, 29B, 29C, and 29D are closed with a resin plate or sheet after the operation.
[0014] The inner panel 13 includes a speaker 31 and a weight member 33. The speaker 31 and the weight member 33 are disposed in an internal space surrounded by the inner panel 13 and the outer panel. The weight member 33 is attached to a substantially central position of the inner panel 13. In FIG. 1, the speaker 31 is indicated by diagonal lines.
[0015] The speaker 31 constitutes an audio device, and outputs sound into the vehicle cabin when the speaker 31 emits sound. The speaker 31 is fitted into a mounting hole 27 formed in the flat portion 21 of the inner panel 13, and is attached to the inner panel 13 by screws or the like.
[0016] As shown in FIG. 2 , the door trim 14 is connected to the inner panel 13 by a bracket 35 disposed between the door trim 14 and the inner panel 13. The bracket 35 is formed, for example, from a steel plate. The bracket 35 has an L-shaped cross section and includes a fixing plate portion 37 and a support plate portion 39 extending inward in the vehicle width direction from the lower end of the fixing plate portion 37. The fixing plate portion 37 has an insertion hole 37a formed therein that penetrates the fixing plate portion 37 in the vehicle width direction, and a grommet 41 is inserted into the insertion hole 37a. The inner panel 13 also has a mounting hole 13a. The grommet 41, which is inserted into the insertion hole 37a of the fixing plate portion 37 of the bracket 35 from the vehicle interior side, is inserted into the mounting hole 13a of the inner panel 13 via a bushing 43. In this way, the bracket 35 is fixed to the vehicle interior side of the inner panel 13. The bracket 35 is fixed to the inner panel 13 at two locations spaced apart in the vehicle longitudinal direction. That is, as shown in FIG. 1, the bracket 35 is attached to the inner panel 13 at two mounting locations Pa spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
[0017] The door trim 14 is fixed to the support plate portion 39 of the bracket 35 attached to the inner panel 13 by a fixing member 45 such as a grommet. In this way, the bracket 35 is disposed between the inner panel 13 and the door trim 14, connecting the inner panel 13 and the door trim 14. In addition, an armrest 47 for a vehicle occupant to rest their arm on is attached to the door trim 14 at the connection point between the bracket 35 and the inner panel 13.
[0018] The weight member 33 is disposed near a bracket 35 fixed to the inner panel 13 on the outer side of the inner panel 13 in the vehicle width direction. The weight member 33 is attached to the inner panel 13 at approximately the center of the inner panel 13 (see FIG. 1). The weight member 33 is a weight that suppresses vibration of the inner panel 13 caused by the speaker 31 when the speaker 31 emits sound, and suppresses transmission of vibration from the inner panel 13 via the bracket 35 to the door trim 14 to which the armrest 47 is attached.
[0019] Fig. 3 is a plan view of the weight member 33 attached to the inner panel 13. Fig. 4 is a perspective view of the weight member 33 and the bracket 35. Fig. 5 is a perspective view of the weight attachment portion 51 and the plate members 61 and 65 that constitute the weight main body portion 53.
[0020] 3 to 5, the weight member 33 has a weight attachment portion 51 and a weight main body portion 53. The weight attachment portion 51 is fixed to the inner panel 13, and the weight main body portion 53 is supported by the weight attachment portion 51. In this way, the weight member 33 has the weight attachment portion 51 and the weight main body portion 53 as separate bodies.
[0021] The weight mounting portion 51 is formed in a plate shape that is long in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle. The weight mounting portion 51 has multiple (three in this example) flange portions 55A, 55B, and 55C that are fixed to the inner panel 13, and a connection portion 57 that connects the flange portions 55A, 55B, and 55C together and is disposed with a space S between it and the inner panel 13. The connection portion 57 has two openings 58. Two positioning holes 51a are formed in the connection portion 57, and one positioning hole 51a is formed in the flange portion 55C.
[0022] Each of the flange portions 55A, 55B, and 55C bulges out toward the inner panel 13 (inward in the vehicle width direction) relative to the connecting portion 57. The flange portion 55A is provided at one end of the weight mounting portion 51, and the other flange portions 55B and 55C are provided at the other end of the weight mounting portion 51. Each of the flange portions 55A, 55B, and 55C has a fastening portion 59 made up of a nut.
[0023] The weight main body 53 is made up of a plurality of (two in this example) long plate materials 61, 65, which are stacked on top of each other. In other words, the weight main body 53 is a laminate of these plate materials 61, 65. The weight main body 53 made up of the plate materials 61, 65 is shorter in length than the weight attachment part 51 and is overlapped with the weight attachment part 51 in a range excluding the flange part 55A. The weight main body 53 made up of the laminate of these plate materials 61, 65 has a greater weight than the weight attachment part 51.
[0024] The plate material 61 has two openings 62. The plate material 61 also has an escape hole 63a and an escape recess 63b. The plate material 61 also has a plurality of positioning holes 61a. Similarly, the plate material 65 has two openings 66. The plate material 65 also has an escape hole 67a and an escape recess 67b. The plate material 65 also has a plurality of positioning holes 65a. The opening 62 of the plate material 61 has a substantially rectangular shape that is smaller than the substantially rectangular shape of the opening 58 formed in the connecting portion 57 of the weight mounting part 51. The opening 66 of the plate material 65 also has a substantially rectangular shape that is substantially the same size as the opening 58 formed in the connecting portion 57 of the weight mounting part 51.
[0025] In plan view, the openings 62, 66 of the plate materials 61, 65 are formed at the same positions as the opening 58 formed in the connection portion 57 of the weight mounting portion 51. Furthermore, the plate materials 61, 65 are provided with relief holes 63a, 67a and relief recesses 63b, 67b so that when they are placed on the weight mounting portion 51, they do not interfere with the fastening portions 59 of the flange portions 55B, 55C of the weight mounting portion 51.
[0026] The plate materials 61 and 65 that make up the weight main body 53 are joined together in a stacked state by arc welding their outer edges and at least a portion of the corners between the inner edge of the opening 66 of the plate material 65 and the plate material 61.
[0027] Furthermore, the weight main body 53 is joined by arc welding at least a part of the corners between the outer edge of the plate material 61 and the weight mounting portion 51 and the corners between the inner edge of the opening 58 of the connection portion 57 and the plate material 61, while the weight main body 53 is placed on top of the weight mounting portion 51. When joining the plate materials 61 and 65 together and when joining the weight main body 53 made up of these plate materials 61 and 65 to the weight mounting portion 51, positioning is performed by inserting positioning pins (not shown) into the respective positioning holes 51 a, 61 a, 65 a.
[0028] 2 and 3, the weight member 33 is disposed in a position facing all of the attachment locations Pa of the bracket 35 to the inner panel 13 in the vehicle width direction, with the inner panel 13 in between. In other words, in a plan view seen from the vehicle width direction, the weight member 33 overlaps the entire range of the attachment locations Pa.
[0029] In addition, the weight member 33 has a larger vertical width than the attachment point Pa between the bracket 35 and the inner panel 13, and also has a larger width in the vehicle fore-and-aft direction than the attachment point Pa between the bracket 35 and the inner panel 13.
[0030] The weight member 33 is fixed by bolting the flange portions 55A, 55B, and 55C of the weight mounting portion 51 to the inner panel 13. Specifically, bolts (not shown) are inserted from the vehicle interior into bolt insertion holes (not shown) formed in the inner panel 13 and then screwed into the fastening portions 59 of the flange portions 55A, 55B, and 55C to fasten the weight member 33 to the inner panel 13 at three locations, the flange portions 55A, 55B, and 55C.
[0031] In this fixed state, the weight member 33 is disposed in a position where the openings 62, 66 of the plate members 61, 65, which are formed at the same position, and the opening 58 of the connection portion 57 of the weight mounting portion 51, coincide with the attachment point Pa of the bracket 35 to the inner panel 13 in the vehicle width direction. This prevents the grommet 41 and the bushing 43 from interfering with the weight member 33. Furthermore, the weight member 33 is disposed such that the connection portion 57 of the weight mounting portion 51 is spaced apart from the inner panel 13 in the vehicle width direction by a space S (see FIG. 2).
[0032] Here, the influence of the presence or absence of the weight member 33 on the vibration transmission rate from the speaker 31 to the bracket 35 of the inner panel 13 and the vibration level in the door trim 14 was evaluated for a specific frequency band (40 Hz to 100 Hz) F that is likely to cause discomfort to vehicle occupants.
[0033] Fig. 6 is a graph showing the vibration transmissibility from the speaker 31 to the bracket 35 of the inner panel 13 when a unit input is applied to the speaker 31. Fig. 7 is a graph showing the vibration level in the door trim 14 when the speaker 31 is sounded. In Figs. 6 and 7, the graphs when the weight member 33 is present are shown by dashed lines, and the graphs when the weight member is not present are shown by solid lines.
[0034] If the weight member 33 is not provided on the inner panel 13, when the speaker 31 is activated, for example, the vibration transmission rate from the speaker 31 to the bracket 35 of the inner panel 13 increases in a specific frequency band F that is likely to be unpleasant for vehicle occupants (see the solid line in FIG. 6). Furthermore, if the weight member 33 is not provided on the inner panel 13, the vibration level at the mounting position of the armrest 47 on the door trim 14 also increases in the specific frequency band F (see the solid line in FIG. 7). In other words, the vibration of the speaker 31 is transmitted from the inner panel 13 through the bracket 35 to the door trim 14, increasing the vibration level of the door trim 14, which may cause vehicle occupants to feel uncomfortable with the vibration.
[0035] In contrast, when the weight member 33 is provided on the inner panel 13, as in the door 11 according to this embodiment, the vibration transmission rate from the speaker 31 to the bracket 35 of the inner panel 13 can be suppressed to a target value Vt or less in the specific frequency band F that is likely to cause discomfort to vehicle occupants (see the dashed line in FIG. 6 ). Furthermore, when the weight member 33 is provided on the inner panel 13, the vibration level at the mounting position of the armrest 47 on the door trim 14 in the specific frequency band F is also reduced (see the dashed line in FIG. 7 ). In other words, the transmission of the vibration of the speaker 31 from the inner panel 13 through the bracket 35 to the door trim 14 can be suppressed, thereby reducing the vibration level of the door trim 14. This suppresses vibrations in the door trim 14 that cause discomfort to vehicle occupants, thereby achieving a comfortable interior environment.
[0036] As described above, according to the vehicle door structure of this embodiment, by arranging the weight member 33 in the inner panel 13 near the bracket 35 that connects the inner panel 13 and the door trim 14, it is possible to suppress vibration of the inner panel 13 near the bracket 35. This effectively suppresses transmission of vibration of the speaker 31 to the door trim 14, thereby achieving a comfortable in-vehicle environment.
[0037] The weight members 33 are disposed at positions facing all of the mounting locations Pa of the bracket 35 with the inner panel 13 in the vehicle width direction, sandwiching the inner panel 13. Therefore, vibrations of the speaker 31 transmitted from the bracket 35 to the door trim 14 can be more effectively suppressed.
[0038] The weight member 33 may be disposed in a position facing at least a part of the attachment location Pa of the bracket 35 to the inner panel 13 in the vehicle width direction, across the inner panel 13. Even in this case, the vibration of the speaker 31 transmitted from the bracket 35 to the door trim 14 can be more effectively suppressed.
[0039] Moreover, the weight member 33 has a larger width in the vertical direction and a larger width in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle than the attachment point Pa between the bracket 35 and the inner panel 13. This increases the effect of the weight member 33 in suppressing vibrations in the vicinity of the bracket 35 of the inner panel 13, and more effectively suppresses transmission of vibrations from the speaker 31 to the door trim 14.
[0040] In addition, the weight member 33 has a weight mounting portion 51 fixed to the inner panel 13 and a weight main body portion 53 supported by the weight mounting portion 51. Therefore, by fixing the weight mounting portion 51 to the inner panel 13, the weight member 33 having the weight main body portion 53 can be easily attached to the inner panel 13, thereby reducing the vibration of the inner panel 13.
[0041] Furthermore, since the weight member 33 has a weight mounting portion 51 and a weight main body portion 53 that are separate bodies, the weight mounting portion 51 can support weight main bodies 53 of different weights, making it easy to adjust the overall weight of the weight member 33.
[0042] Furthermore, since the weight body 53 is heavier than the weight attachment portion 51, the weight member 33 can be adjusted to an appropriate weight by the weight body 53 which is heavier than the weight attachment portion 51.
[0043] Furthermore, since the weight main body 53 is a laminate of multiple plate materials 61, 65, the weight of the weight main body 53 can be easily adjusted by selecting the number and weight of the plate materials 61, 65 and stacking them to form the weight main body 53.
[0044] Furthermore, the weight mounting portion 51 has a plurality of flange portions 55A, 55B, 55C fixed to the inner panel 13, and a connection portion 57 that connects the plurality of flange portions 55A, 55B, 55C together and is disposed with a space S between it and the inner panel 13. Therefore, the weight mounting portion 51 has a substantially hat shape, which increases the rigidity of the attachment location of the weight member 33 on the inner panel 13 and improves the vibration suppression effect. In addition, because the space S is formed between the weight mounting portion 51 and the inner panel 13, paint can be smoothly applied to the attachment location of the weight member 33 when the inner panel 13 is painted.
[0045] Furthermore, since the speaker 31 and the weight member 33 are disposed between the inner panel 13 and the outer panel, the size of the door 11 can be kept small while still achieving the effect of suppressing vibration of the inner panel 13 .
[0046] As in the above embodiment, the weight member 33 is preferably disposed on the vibration transmission path from the speaker 31, which is the vibration source, to the door trim 14, i.e., between the speaker 31 and the door trim 14. This provides the effect of suppressing the transmission of vibration to the door trim 14.
[0047] In the above embodiment, the weight main body 53 of the weight member 33 is formed by stacking two plate materials 61, 65, but the number of plate materials to be stacked is not limited to two, and may be one plate or three or more plates.
[0048] As such, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and the present invention also contemplates the mutual combination of the various components of the embodiments, as well as modifications and applications by those skilled in the art based on the description in the specification and well-known techniques, and these modifications and applications are included in the scope of protection sought.
[0049] As described above, this specification discloses the following: (1) A vehicle door structure comprising: an inner panel; a speaker attached to the inner panel; a door trim disposed on the interior side of the inner panel; a bracket disposed between the inner panel and the door trim and connecting the inner panel to the door trim; and a weight member attached to the inner panel, the weight member being disposed near the bracket. According to this vehicle door structure, by disposing the weight member near the bracket connecting the inner panel to the door trim in the inner panel, vibration of the inner panel near the bracket can be suppressed. [0054] (6) The vehicle door structure according to any one of (1) to (5), wherein the weight member has: a weight mounting portion fixed to the inner panel; and a weight main body portion supported by the weight mounting portion. According to this vehicle door structure, by fixing the weight mounting portion to the inner panel, the weight member having the weight main body portion can be easily attached to the inner panel, thereby reducing vibration of the inner panel.
[0055] (7) The vehicle door structure according to (6), wherein the weight member is formed by the weight mounting portion and the weight main body portion, which are separate bodies. According to this vehicle door structure, since the weight mounting portion and the weight main body portion are separate bodies, weight main body portions of different weights can be supported by the weight mounting portion, and the overall weight of the weight member can be easily adjusted.
[0056] (8) The vehicle door structure according to (6) or (7), wherein the weight main body is heavier than the weight attachment portion.
