Abstract

The invention relates to a transformer house (10) comprising: - a house (5) having walls (7) which define a plurality of compartments (6, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18), - a transformer (20) positioned within the house, - a middle voltage cable entry compartment (6) via which middle voltage cables (26) enter the transformer house, - a middle voltage switchgear cabinet (28) configured for controlling and switching the middle voltage current entering the transformer house via the middle-voltage cables, - a middle voltage switchgear cabinet compartment (8) which accommodates the middle voltage switchgear cabinet, wherein the middle voltage cable entry compartment (6) is separated from the middle voltage switchgear cabinet compartment (8) by at least a first wall (4.1 ).
