Abstract
The present utility model relates to a coconut dehusking machine with an integrated fiber stripping mechanism that automates both the removal of the coconut husk and the stripping of residual fibers in a single continuous operation. The machine comprises a main frame supporting all functional components, including paired counter-rotating dehusking roller assemblies driven by independent motor assemblies for efficient husk removal. A flapping mat assembly assists in dislodging partially dehusked coconuts, which are then conveyed by a screw conveyor assembly toward the fiber stripping section. The fiber stripping mechanism includes two brush roller assemblies, one fixed and one spring-mounted, to maintain consistent contact pressure with the coconut surface and adapt to variations in size and curvature. This integrated configuration eliminates the need for separate cleaning equipment, reduces manual labor, enhances safety, and ensures cleaner coconut shells with improved processing efficiency.
