Abstract

The method of manufacturing composite prestressing and load-bearing ropes, carried out in a continuous process, in which such operations as rope braiding, drying, tensioning, heating and compaction by crushing are used, according to the invention is characterized in that the process takes place in the following sequential steps: strands of basalt, glass, aramid or carbon fibers are braided in their entire volume with strands of polyester fibers, wherein the share of polyester fibers is from 15% to 35% of the entire strand, depending on the requirements for the final product; the finished strand is immersed in a solvent that softens polyester fibers; then the strand is dried at a temperature of 70°C - 80°C and subjected to a tension of the order of 5kN, between a brake in the form of tensioning wheels and pulling wheels placed in the end part of the line; then the strand is heated to the temperature of polyester melting, i.e. 180°C - 230°C,then the strand is crushed in two directions on a device with four pairs of driven rollers with adjustable pressure, with each pair of rollers being shifted and rotated relative to the next pair of rollers by an angle of 90°, as a result of which the air between the fibers is removed and the fibers are glued; then the strand thus prepared is wrapped with basalt, glass, aramid or carbon fibers, depending on the fibers used in the rope production process, with the braid having a diameter ten times smaller than the rope diameter; after which the strand is heated again at a temperature of 180°C - 230°C and crushed in another crushing unit and simultaneously cooled to ambient temperature, after which the finished rope is wound on a spool. The line for the production of tensioning and load-bearing ropes is characterized in that it consists of a splicing device (1), rollers (2) guiding the splice, a bath (3) with a solvent, a drying chamber (4),a brake (5) in the form of tension wheels, a tunnel kiln (6), a crimping unit (7) comprising four pairs of driven rollers with adjustable pressure force, each pair of rollers being shifted and rotated relative to the next pair by an angle of 90°, a braiding machine (8), a tunnel kiln (9), a crimping unit (10) comprising two pairs of rollers without drive, the pairs of rollers being shifted and rotated relative to each other by an angle of 90°, a pulling unit (11) in the form of two driven wheels and a spool (12) for winding the finished rope, the strand being tensioned between the brake (5) in the form of tension wheels and the pulling unit (11) in the form of two driven wheels.,
