Abstract
Description
[0001] FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY
[0002] The invention relates to light industry, specifically to equipment for packaging bulk materials in a water-soluble coating. Specifically, the invention can be used for the production of portioned fishing baits such as "PVA sticks."
[0003] STATE OF THE ART
[0004] Devices for forming baits in a mesh shell are known. For example, patent US4555893 describes a device for forming and tying baits, which includes a mechanism for holding the mesh and means for tying it.
[0005] The main disadvantage of this solution is the need for manual or semi-automatic tying operation, which reduces productivity, requires operator intervention and does not guarantee stable tightness of the knot, which is critical for water-soluble packaging.
[0006] The patent US20040098952A1, which discloses an apparatus for forming a bait bag, is selected as the prototype for the claimed invention. This apparatus comprises a coaxially positioned filling sleeve and forming tube, between which a mesh material is placed. The relative movement of these elements forms a bag, which is then manually tied with a thread stored in the handle of the device.
[0007] A disadvantage of this prototype is the need for a final manual operation to tie the formed bag with thread. This process cannot be fully automated within the prototype design, limits production speed, depends on user skill, and does not provide a strong, monolithic seal comparable to a welded seam. The objective of the invention is to eliminate these disadvantages by creating a fully automated sealing unit that requires no manual operations or extraneous materials (such as thread), as well as a packaging machine based on it, ensuring high-performance and reliable product manufacturing.
[0008] DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION
[0009] The essence of the invention lies in the creation of a sealing unit and a filling and packaging machine that ensure fully automatic formation and hermetically sealed thermal sealing of portioned products in a water-soluble casing.
[0010] A soldering unit for a water-soluble mesh casing comprises a clamp configured to secure a molded article. The clamp is mounted on a rotor, allowing it to rotate. The unit also comprises a gripper configured to hold a section of the mesh casing, and a soldering iron with a heating element and a tip. The rotor is configured to twist the section of the mesh casing located between the clamp and the feed die into a bundle, and the soldering iron is configured to insert its tip into the gripper's holding area of the twisted bundle to cut it and fuse the ends of the casing together by melting.
[0011] A packaging machine for producing articles in a water-soluble casing comprises a load frame, a dosing unit with a hopper, and a forming unit including a tubular die and a coaxial rod with a drive capable of reciprocating movement of the rod within the die. The machine further comprises a sealing unit constructed in accordance with the first aspect of the invention. The forming unit is configured to form an article in a mesh casing at the bottom of the die, and the sealing unit is located beneath the die and is configured to grip the article, twist the free end of the casing, secure it, and thermally seal it, allowing for separation of the finished article and simultaneous formation of a bottom for the next article.

[0033] IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INVENTION
[0034] The machine operates as follows. A water-soluble mesh (PVA), closed at the lower end, is placed on the die. The rod is in the upward position. The dispenser, designed as a rotating drum with a dosing cavity, portions the material (bait) from the hopper into the die, where it collects at the bottom. A ball screw drive moves the rod downward, pushing the material and mesh out of the die, forming a cylindrical product. Upon exiting the die, the product is gripped by the clamp of the soldering unit. The rod returns upward, creating a free cylindrical section of mesh between the lower edge of the die and the clamped product. The rotor causes the clamp to rotate, twisting this section of mesh into a tight rope. Then, a double scissor-type gripper closes and secures the twisted rope. The soldering iron, the tip of which is heated to the melting temperature of the mesh material, makes a reciprocating movement and passes into the area between the halves of the grip, cutting the bundle and melting the ends of the mesh. After the soldering iron is removed and the melt has cooled, the ends of the mesh are soldered, sealing the bottom of the finished part and forming a closed top for the next part remaining on the die. The clamp opens, releasing the finished part. All drives are controlled from the control panel via electromagnetic relays and power supplies.
