Abstract

A sports game organizer. With this device, those persons interested in a sport can attend a field of play and organize their entry to include level / style of play, gender-base of the team, preference, and order of play all on the same device.

[0004] Thus, what is described and claimed herein is a sports game organizer. The organizer comprises a container separated into a plurality of discrete holding sections wherein each section is configured to hold four pickleball paddles.

[0005] Each section has a front surface. The front surface of each section contains a first indicator located on the front surface. This first indicator can be selected from the group consisting of level of expertise; gender-based play selected from the group consisting of male, female, and mixed male and female, and preference of play.

[0006] There is a second indicator for tracking order of play. The second indicator, in one embodiment, is selected from a slidable object on a horizontal support wherein the horizontal support is selected from the group consisting of a wire; a rope; a fiberglass rod; a wooden dowel; a metal rod, and a leather strap.

[0007] In another embodiment, there is a sports game organizer as set forth just Supra, wherein, in addition, a second indicator is selected from the group consisting of: snaps and buttons; magnets; colored magnets; colored tapes; hang tags on hooks; loop and hook fasteners, and a wooden slider in a track.

[0008] Further, this invention contemplates more than two or more first indicators for each sports game organizer. [0021] Turning now to FIG. 1, there is shown a full front view of a device 1 of this invention which is shown as a rectangular box configuration (“container”).

[0022] The container is separated into a plurality of discrete holding sections, and in the case of that shown, it is four box-like containers 2 (see FIG. 2). FIG. 9 shows an alternate configuration for achieving the same thing, in that, there is shown a series of four openings 12 for the insertion of paddle handles and colored tape segments red –13, blue - 14, white - 15, and black - 16, although any desired arrangement of colors can be used, the colors indicating four independent groups. (described infra).

[0023] The device has a full front surface 3 extending from one edge 4 to a second edge 5. The front surface 3 contains a first indicator means 6. The first indicator means can be, for example, level of expertise, FIG. 1; gender-based play, FIG. 7, and so on. Such means are described in detail infra.

[0025] The device 1 can be manufactured from wood, metal, such as aluminum, plastic, cardboard, rubber, or a combination of these types of materials.

[0027] cables, zip ties, rope, wire, screws, bolts, and the device 1 can also be supported from the bottom by using a table 10 as shown in FIG. 1, the ground, a metal stand, a wooden stand, or a plastic stand.

[0028] Shown in FIG. 1 is a second indicator 7 for tracking order of play, the second indicator 7 can be selected from a slidable object 8 on a horizontal support 9, the horizontal support 9 can be selected from the group consisting of wire, rope, fiberglass rod, wooden dowel, metal rod, and a leather strap, among others.

[0029] The second indicator 7, used to indicate order of play, can also be selected from non-slidable materials such as snaps / button 18, FIG. 3; magnets 19, FIG. 4; colored magnets, colored tapes 13-16, hang tags on hooks, loop and hook fasteners, and a button slider in a track 20, FIG. 5, to name a few.

[0030] Turning back to FIG. 1, there is shown a device 1 of this invention wherein the first indicator means 6 shown can be preference of play such as: fun, beginner, intermediate, advanced, and so forth. FIG. 7 shows gender-based play options designated as 21, and FIG. 8 shows the means can also be the standard levels of expertise of 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5 known in the profession designated as 22.

Claims

1. A sports game organizer, said organizer comprising:A) a container separated into a plurality of discrete holding sections, each said section configured to hold four pickleball paddles;B) each said section having a front surface, said front surface of each said section containing a first indicator means located on said front surface selected from the group consisting of:i) level of expertise;ii) gender based play selected from the group consisting of:a) male,b) female, c) mixed male and female,d) any;iii) reference of play consisting of: a) fun,b) beginner,c) intermediate, and d) advanced; C) a second indicator for tracking order of play, said second indicator selected from a slidable object on a horizontal support, said horizontal support selected from the group consisting of:i) a wire;ii) a rope;iii) a fiberglass rod;iv) a wooden dowel;v) a metal rod, andvi) a leather strap.

2. A sports game organizer as claimed in claim 1 wherein, in addition, the second indicator is selected from the group consisting of: i) snaps and buttons;ii) magnets;iii) colored magnets;iv) colored tapes;v) hang tags on hooks;vi) loop and hook fasteners, andvii) a wooden slider in a track.

3. The sports game organizer as claimed in claim 1 wherein there is more than one indicator for said sports game organizer.

4. The sports game organizer as claimed in claim 1 wherein said sports game organizer has support means attached thereto.

5. The sports game organizer as claimed in claim 4 wherein the support means is selected from the group consisting of: i) a set of hooks;ii) U-bolts;iii) a cable;iv) zip ties;v) rope;vi) wire;vii) screws;viii) bolts.

6. The sports game organizer as claimed in claim 4 wherein the attachment means is a bottom support.

7. The sports game organizer as claimed in claim 6 wherein the attachment means is selected from the group consisting of: i) a table,ii) the ground;iii) a metal stand;iv) a wooden standv) a plastic stand.

8. The sports game organizer as claimed in claim 1 wherein the organizer is manufactured from a material selected from the group consisting of: i) wood, ii) metal, iii) plastic, iv) cardboard, and a combination of i) – iv).

9. The sports game organizer as claimed in claim 8 wherein the sports game organizer is manufactured from wood.

10. The sports game organizer as claimed in claim 8 wherein the sports game organizer is manufactured from metal.

11. The sports game organizer as claimed in claim 10 wherein the metal is aluminum.

12. The sports game organizer as claimed in claim 8 wherein the sports game organizer is manufactured from cardboard.

13. The sports game organizer as claimed in claim 8 wherein the sports game organizer is manufactured from rubber.

14. The sports game organizer as claimed in claim 8 wherein the sports game organizer is manufactured from plastic 15. The sports game organizer as claimed in claim 14 wherein the sports game organizer is manufactured from polycarbonate.
