An encoding device according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a circuit and a memory connected to the circuit. The circuit, when in operation, calculates texture coordinates indicating positions of a plurality of second vertices in two-dimensional coordinates, on the basis of the positions of the plurality of second vertices, the positions of the plurality of second vertices being generated on the basis of positions of a plurality of first vertices included in a first three-dimensional mesh frame (S501), and encodes position information indicating the positions of the plurality of first vertices, and a texture image corresponding to the texture coordinates, into a bitstream (S502).
