[0001] CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
[0002] This application claims priority to Chinese patent application No. 202321914157.6, filed on July 20, 2023, entitled “Battery and Electrical Device,” the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field
[0003] The present application relates to the field of battery production technology, and in particular to batteries and electrical devices. Background Art
[0004] Battery cells are widely used in electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops, electric bicycles, electric cars, electric airplanes, electric boats, electric toy cars, electric toy boats, electric toy airplanes, and power tools. Battery cells can include nickel-cadmium battery cells, nickel-metal hydride battery cells, lithium-ion battery cells, and secondary alkaline zinc-manganese battery cells.
[0005] In the development of battery technology, in addition to improving the functional performance of batteries, reliability is also an issue that cannot be ignored. Therefore, how to improve battery reliability is a technical problem that needs to be solved urgently in battery technology.
[0006] Summary of the Invention
[0007] The present application provides a battery and an electrical device, aiming to improve the reliability of the battery.
[0008] In the first aspect, the present application proposes a battery, which includes a case, a battery cell and a protective member; the case includes a first wall and a support assembly; the battery cell is accommodated in the case, and a pressure relief mechanism is provided on the side of the battery cell facing the first wall; the protective member is accommodated in the case and separates the pressure relief mechanism from the first wall, and in the arrangement direction, at least part of the support assembly is located between the first wall and the protective member.
[0009] In the battery provided by the present application, the high-temperature and high-speed emissions released by the battery cells during thermal runaway act on the protective component. The protective component can reduce the thermal shock received by the first wall and reduce the heat transferred to the first wall, thereby reducing the risk of the first wall being melted through. At least part of the support assembly is located between the first wall and the protective component, so that an insulating air layer is formed between the first wall and the protective component, further reducing the heat transferred to the first wall. When thermal runaway occurs, the protective component impacted by the high-temperature and high-speed emissions will be supported by the support assembly, reducing direct contact between the first wall and the protective component. Although the protective component will contact the support assembly and melt, the support assembly gradually melts from the protective component toward the first wall, delaying the time for heat to be transferred to the first wall, reducing the risk of the box being melted through, and improving the reliability of the battery.
[0010] According to one embodiment of the present application, the support assembly is integrally formed with the first wall, and the support assembly protrudes from a surface of the first wall facing the protective component.
[0011] In these optional embodiments, such an arrangement enables the support assembly and the first wall to have a higher connection strength, and the two are not likely to fall off when subjected to external force.
[0012] According to one embodiment of the present application, in the arrangement direction, at least a portion of the support assembly overlaps with the pressure relief mechanism.
[0013] In these optional embodiments, when thermal runaway occurs, high-temperature, high-speed emissions are discharged through the pressure relief mechanism. Therefore, at least a portion of the support assembly overlaps with the pressure relief mechanism to reduce the direct impact of high-temperature, high-speed emissions on the first wall, thereby reducing the risk of the first wall being melted through.
[0014] According to one embodiment of the present application, the support assembly and the protective member are spaced apart from each other in the arrangement direction.
[0015] In these optional embodiments, when thermal runaway occurs, the protective components impacted by high-temperature and high-speed emissions will also be supported by the support assembly. While taking into account the thermal protection requirements, the size of the support assembly can be appropriately reduced, which is beneficial to reducing the loss of battery energy density.
[0016] According to one embodiment of the present application, the support assembly includes a plurality of first support members.
[0017] According to one embodiment of the present application, at least two first support members are arranged crosswise, and in the arrangement direction, the intersection position of the two first support members overlaps with the pressure relief mechanism.
[0018] In these optional embodiments, this arrangement can increase the density of the support assembly in the area opposite the pressure relief mechanism, thereby reducing the probability of contact between the protective member and the first wall and slowing heat transfer. Furthermore, the cross-arrangement can withstand greater thermal shock, increase the support strength of the pressure relief mechanism, reduce the risk of the protective member being punctured, and thus reduce the risk of the box body being melted through.
[0019] According to one embodiment of the present application, the support assembly further includes a second support unit, which is arranged on a peripheral side of the intersection position. In the arrangement direction, the second support unit at least partially overlaps with the pressure relief mechanism.
[0020] In these optional embodiments, such an arrangement can further increase the support strength of the protective component and reduce the risk of the protective component being penetrated.
[0021] According to one embodiment of the present application, the second support unit includes two second support members and two third support members, each second support member is connected to two adjacent third support members, and the two second support members are spaced and oppositely arranged along a first direction, and the first direction is perpendicular to the arrangement direction.
[0022] In these optional embodiments, the second support member is connected to the third support member. When the protective member is subjected to thermal shock, the protective member contacts the second and third support members. The second support member can disperse the impact force it receives to the third support member, and the third support member can disperse the impact force it receives to the second support member, thereby reducing the risk of the protective member being penetrated. In addition, heat is transferred between the second and third support members in a coordinated manner, delaying the time it takes for heat to be transferred to the first wall, thereby reducing the risk of the box being melted through.
[0023] According to one embodiment of the present application, the support assembly is connected to the protective member.
[0024] In these optional embodiments, such an arrangement improves the installation stability of the protective component and reduces the movement of the protective component within the box.
[0025] According to one embodiment of the present application, a projection area S1 of the protective member on the first wall along the arrangement direction and an area S2 of the first wall satisfy: 60% S2 ≤ S1 ≤ 95% S2.
[0026] In these optional embodiments, such an arrangement can further improve the thermal protection of the first wall by the protective component.
[0027] According to one embodiment of the present application, the protective member includes one of mica paper, mica board or glass fiber board.
[0028] In these optional embodiments, these specific optional protective components can impart good thermal protection performance to the protective component.
[0029] In a second aspect, the present application provides an electrical device, which includes the battery according to the above, and the battery is used to provide electrical energy.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0043] To make the purpose, technical solutions, and advantages of the embodiments of this application more clear, the technical solutions in the embodiments of this application will be clearly described below in conjunction with the drawings in the embodiments of this application. Obviously, the described embodiments are part of the embodiments of this application, not all of the embodiments. Based on the embodiments in this application, all other embodiments obtained by ordinary technicians in this field without making creative efforts are within the scope of protection of this application.
[0044] Unless otherwise defined, all technical and scientific terms used in this application have the same meanings as commonly understood by those skilled in the art to which this application belongs. The terms used in the specification of this application are for the purpose of describing specific embodiments only and are not intended to limit this application. The terms "including" and "having" and any variations thereof in the specification and claims of this application and the above-mentioned drawings are intended to cover non-exclusive inclusions. The terms "first" and "second" in the specification and claims of this application or the above-mentioned drawings are used to distinguish different objects, rather than to describe a specific order or a primary-secondary relationship.
[0045] References to "embodiments" in this application mean that a particular feature, structure, or characteristic described in connection with the embodiment may be included in at least one embodiment of the application. The appearance of this phrase in various places in the specification does not necessarily refer to the same embodiment, nor does it constitute an independent or alternative embodiment that is mutually exclusive of other embodiments.
[0046] In the description of this application, it should be noted that, unless otherwise expressly specified or limited, the terms "mounted," "connected," "connected," and "attached" should be understood in a broad sense. For example, they may refer to fixed connections, detachable connections, or integral connections; they may refer to direct connections, indirect connections through an intermediate medium, or internal connections between two components. Those skilled in the art will understand the specific meanings of the above terms in this application based on specific circumstances.
[0047] The term "and / or" in this application simply describes an association between related objects, indicating that three possible relationships exist. For example, A and / or B can represent: A exists alone, A and B exist simultaneously, and B exists alone. In addition, the character " / " in this application generally indicates that the related objects are in an "or" relationship.
[0048] In the embodiments of this application, the same reference numerals represent the same components, and for the sake of brevity, detailed descriptions of the same components in different embodiments are omitted. It should be understood that the thickness, length, width, and other dimensions of the various components in the embodiments of this application, as well as the overall thickness, length, width, and other dimensions of the integrated device shown in the drawings are merely illustrative and should not constitute any limitation on this application.
[0049] The term "plurality" used in this application refers to two or more (including two).
[0050] In this application, battery cells may include lithium-ion battery cells, lithium-sulfur battery cells, sodium-lithium-ion battery cells, sodium-ion battery cells, or magnesium-ion battery cells, and the embodiments of this application are not limited thereto. Battery cells may be cylindrical, flat, rectangular, or in other shapes, and the embodiments of this application are not limited thereto.
[0051] The battery referred to in the embodiments of this application refers to a single physical module that includes one or more battery cells to provide higher voltage and capacity. A battery generally includes a housing that encloses one or more battery cells. The housing prevents liquids or other foreign matter from affecting the charging or discharging of the battery cells.
[0052] The development of battery technology must take into account multiple design factors at the same time, such as energy density, cycle life, discharge capacity, charge and discharge rate and other performance parameters. In addition, battery safety must also be considered.
[0053] The pressure relief mechanism on a battery cell has a significant impact on its safety. For example, short circuits, overcharging, and other events can cause thermal runaway within the cell, leading to a sudden increase in pressure. In these situations, the pressure relief mechanism activates to release the internal pressure, preventing explosion or fire.
[0054] A pressure relief mechanism can be an element or component that activates when a battery cell reaches certain conditions. For example, it can be activated to release internal pressure and / or internal materials when the internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a predetermined threshold. This threshold design varies depending on design requirements. This threshold may depend on the materials of one or more of the positive electrode plate, negative electrode plate, electrolyte, and separator in the battery cell.
[0055] The pressure relief mechanism can take the form of an explosion-proof valve, an air valve, a pressure relief valve, or a safety valve, and can specifically employ a pressure-sensitive element or structure. That is, when the internal pressure of the battery cell reaches a predetermined threshold, the pressure relief mechanism activates or a weak area provided in the pressure relief mechanism ruptures, thereby forming a pressure relief hole for internal pressure relief. Alternatively, the pressure relief mechanism can also employ a temperature-sensitive element or structure. That is, when the internal temperature of the battery cell reaches a predetermined threshold, the pressure relief mechanism activates, thereby forming a pressure relief hole for internal pressure relief. Alternatively, the pressure relief mechanism can also be a component that can be actively actuated. For example, the pressure relief mechanism can be actuated upon receiving a control signal from the battery.
[0056] The pressure relief mechanism can also take other forms. For example, the pressure relief mechanism can be a relatively low-strength structure on the battery cell's outer shell. When the battery cell experiences thermal runaway, the relatively low-strength structure cracks or deforms, forming a pressure relief hole for internal pressure relief. For example, the pressure relief mechanism can be a weld mark on the battery cell's outer shell.
[0057] The "activation" mentioned in this application refers to the action of the pressure relief mechanism or its activation to a certain state, so that the internal pressure and / or internal substances of the battery cell can be released. The action produced by the pressure relief mechanism may include but is not limited to: at least a part of the pressure relief mechanism is broken, shattered, torn or opened, etc. When the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, the high-temperature and high-speed substances inside the battery cell will be discharged outward from the actuated part as emissions. In this way, the battery cell can be depressurized under controllable pressure, thereby avoiding potential more serious accidents.
[0058] The emissions from battery cells mentioned in this application include but are not limited to: electrolyte, dissolved or split positive and negative electrode plates, separator fragments, high-temperature and high-speed gases generated by the reaction, flames, etc.
[0059] In some embodiments, when a battery cell experiences thermal runaway, it releases emissions into the housing. These emissions are at high temperature and velocity. If these emissions impact the housing, there is a risk of melting through the housing, particularly in the area of the housing opposite the battery cell's pressure relief mechanism. This could create a risk of external battery fires and reduce battery reliability. The above statements are intended only to provide background information related to this application and do not necessarily constitute prior art.
[0060] In view of the above problems, the inventors have proposed a battery after in-depth research. When the battery cells are in thermal runaway, the high-temperature and high-speed emissions released act on the protective component. The protective component can reduce the thermal shock on the first wall and reduce the heat transferred to the first wall, reducing the risk of the first wall being melted through. At least part of the support assembly is located between the first wall and the protective component, so that an insulating air layer is formed between the first wall and the protective component, further reducing the heat transferred to the first wall. When thermal runaway occurs, the protective component impacted by the high-temperature and high-speed emissions will be supported by the support assembly, reducing the direct contact between the first wall and the protective component. Although the protective component will contact the support assembly and melt, the support assembly gradually melts from the protective component to the first wall, delaying the time for heat to be transferred to the first wall, reducing the risk of the box being melted through, and improving the reliability of the battery.
[0061] Batteries can be used in vehicles, mobile phones, portable devices, laptops, ships, spacecraft, electric toys, and power tools, among others. Vehicles can be fuel-powered, gas-powered, or new energy vehicles; new energy vehicles can be pure electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, or extended-range vehicles. Spacecraft include aircraft, rockets, space shuttles, and spacecraft. Electric toys include fixed or mobile electric toys, such as game consoles, electric car toys, electric ship toys, and electric airplane toys. Power tools include metal cutting power tools, grinding power tools, assembly power tools, and railway power tools, such as electric drills, electric grinders, electric wrenches, electric screwdrivers, electric hammers, impact drills, concrete vibrators, and electric planers. The embodiments of this application do not impose any specific limitations on the aforementioned electrical devices.
[0062] For the convenience of description, the following embodiments are described by taking a vehicle 1000 as an example of an electrical device according to an embodiment of the present application.
[0063] Please refer to Figure 1, which is a schematic structural diagram of a vehicle 1000 provided in some embodiments of the present application. The vehicle 1000 can be a fuel vehicle, a gas vehicle or a new energy vehicle. The new energy vehicle can be a pure electric vehicle, a hybrid vehicle or an extended-range vehicle, etc. A battery 100 is provided inside the vehicle 1000, and the battery 100 can be provided at the bottom, head or tail of the vehicle 1000. The battery 100 can be used to power the vehicle 1000. For example, the battery 100 can serve as an operating power source for the vehicle 1000. The vehicle 1000 may also include a controller 200 and a motor 300. The controller 200 is used to control the battery 100 to power the motor 300, for example, for starting, navigating and driving the vehicle 1000.
[0064] In some embodiments of the present application, the battery 100 can serve not only as an operating power source for the vehicle 1000, but also as a driving power source for the vehicle 1000, replacing or partially replacing fuel or natural gas to provide driving power for the vehicle 1000.
[0065] Refer to Figures 2 and 5, Figure 2 is a schematic diagram of the decomposed structure of the battery of some embodiments of the present application; Figure 3 is a schematic diagram of the structure of the battery of some embodiments of the present application; Figure 4 is a schematic diagram of the decomposed structure of the battery of other embodiments of the present application; Figure 5 is a schematic diagram of the decomposed structure of the battery cell of some embodiments of the present application.
[0066] In a first aspect, as shown in Figures 2 to 5 , the present application provides a battery comprising a housing 20, a battery cell 10, and a protective member 30. The housing 20 comprises a first wall 21 and a support assembly 22. The battery cell 10 is housed within the housing 20, and a pressure relief mechanism 105 is provided on the side of the battery cell 10 facing the first wall 21. The protective member 30 is housed within the housing 20 and separates the pressure relief mechanism 105 from the first wall 21. In the arrangement direction x of the first wall 21 and the protective member 30, at least a portion of the support assembly 22 is located between the first wall 21 and the protective member 30.
[0067] The housing 20 can, to a certain extent, prevent liquids or other foreign matter from affecting the charging or discharging of the battery cells 10. As shown in FIG2 , the housing 20 can include a first housing portion 20a and a second housing portion 20b. The first housing portion 20a and the second housing portion 20b overlap each other, and the first housing portion 20a and the second housing portion 20b together define a storage space for accommodating the battery cells 10. The first housing portion 20a can be a hollow structure with one end open, and the second housing portion 20b can be a plate-like structure. The second housing portion 20b overlaps the open side of the first housing portion 20a, so that the first housing portion 20a and the second housing portion 20b together define a storage space. The first housing portion 20a and the second housing portion 20b can also be hollow structures with one end open, with the open side of the first housing portion 20a overlapping the open side of the second housing portion 20b. Of course, the housing 20 formed by the first housing portion 20a and the second housing portion 20b can have various shapes, such as a cylinder, a rectangular parallelepiped, etc. The first housing portion 20a and the second housing portion 20b can have various shapes, such as a cylinder, a rectangular parallelepiped, etc. To improve the sealing performance after the first housing portion 20a and the second housing portion 20b are connected, a sealing member, such as a sealant or a sealing ring, can also be provided between the first housing portion 20a and the second housing portion 20b. Assuming that the first housing portion 20a covers the top of the second housing portion 20b, the first housing portion 20a can also be referred to as the upper housing cover, and the second housing portion 20b can also be referred to as the lower housing.
[0068] In a battery, there may be multiple battery cells 10, which may be connected in series, in parallel, or in a hybrid connection. A hybrid connection refers to a combination of series and parallel connections among the multiple battery cells 10. Multiple battery cells 10 may be directly connected in series, in parallel, or in a hybrid connection, and then the entire battery 10 may be housed within a housing 20. Alternatively, a battery may be constructed by first connecting multiple battery cells 10 in series, in parallel, or in a hybrid connection to form a battery module, which is then connected in series, in parallel, or in a hybrid connection to form a complete battery module, which is then housed within a housing 20. The battery may also include other structures, such as a busbar assembly for electrically connecting the multiple battery cells 10.
[0069] As shown in FIG5 , in the embodiments of the present application, a battery cell 10 refers to the smallest unit that makes up a battery. The battery cell 10 includes a pressure relief mechanism 105. The battery cell 10 may also include a housing 101, an end cap 102, an electrode assembly 103, an electrode terminal 104, and other functional components. The end cap 102 refers to a component that covers the opening of the housing 101 to isolate the internal environment of the battery cell 10 from the external environment. The end cap 102 is provided with a pressure relief mechanism 105 for releasing internal pressure when the internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell 10 reaches a threshold value.
[0070] As shown in Figures 3 and 4, in an embodiment of the present application, the housing 20 includes a first wall 21, which is arranged corresponding to and spaced from the pressure relief mechanism 105. Specifically, the first wall 21 of the housing 20 is a wall of the housing 20 that is axially opposite to the pressure relief mechanism 105. The first wall 21 can be the top wall of the housing 20 located on the upper side of the battery cell 10, the bottom wall of the housing 20 located on the lower side of the battery cell 10, or the side wall of the housing 20 located on one side of the battery cell 10; of course, the first wall 21 can also be a wall of the housing 20 located at other positions. For example, the first wall 21 can be a part of the first housing portion 20a or a part of the second housing portion 20b.
[0071] In the embodiment of the present application, there is no limitation on the shape of the first wall 21. For example, the first wall 21 may be in a flat plate shape, a curved plate shape, or other shapes.
[0072] In an embodiment of the present application, the box body 20 includes a support assembly 22. In the arrangement direction x, at least a portion of the support assembly 22 is located between the first wall 21 and the protective member 30. It can be understood that the support assembly 22 can be located as a whole between the first wall 21 and the protective member 30, or can be located only partially between the first wall 21 and the protective member 30.
[0073] In the embodiment of the present application, the support assembly 22 is used to prevent the protective member 30 from directly contacting the first wall 21. Even if the protective member 30 is impacted by high-temperature, high-speed emissions and moves, the support assembly 22 can still prevent the protective member 30 from directly contacting the first wall 21. Specifically, the support assembly 22 can be a support member such as a support rib, a support plate, or a support block.
[0074] The protective member 30 is used to separate the pressure relief mechanism 105 from the first wall 21 . When the battery cell 10 experiences thermal runaway, the protective member 30 can prevent high-temperature and high-speed substances ejected from the pressure relief mechanism 105 from directly impacting the first wall 21 .
[0075] Optionally, the protective member 30 has a thermal shock resistance that is superior to that of the first wall 21. Thermal shock resistance refers to a material's ability to withstand rapid temperature changes without breaking. When subjected to the same high-temperature, high-velocity impact, the protective member 30 is less susceptible to breakage than the first wall 21.
[0076] In the embodiment of the present application, the protective member 30 may be a plate-shaped structure, a frame structure or other structures. The protective member 30 may be an integrated structure or a structure assembled from multiple sub-components.
[0077] In the embodiment of the present application, the protective member 30 may be directly placed on the battery cell 10 , that is, the protective member 30 is connected to the battery cell 10 . In this case, the support assembly 22 may be connected to the protective member 30 , or the support assembly 22 may be spaced apart from the protective member 30 .
[0078] In some embodiments, the protective member 30 is connected to the first wall 21 through the support assembly 22 . In this case, the protective member 30 may be connected to the battery cell 10 , or the protective member 30 may be spaced apart from the battery cell 10 .
[0079] In the battery provided by the present application, the high-temperature, high-speed emissions released by the battery cell 10 during thermal runaway act on the protective member 30. The protective member 30 can reduce the thermal shock to the first wall 21 and reduce the heat transferred to the first wall 21, thereby reducing the risk of the first wall 21 being melted through. At least a portion of the support assembly 22 is located between the first wall 21 and the protective member 30, so that an insulating air layer is formed between the first wall 21 and the protective member 30, further reducing the heat transfer to the first wall 21. When thermal runaway occurs, the protective member 30 impacted by the high-temperature, high-speed emissions will be supported by the support assembly 22, reducing direct contact between the first wall 21 and the protective member 30. Although the protective member 30 will contact the support assembly 22 and melt, the support assembly 22 gradually melts from the protective member 30 toward the first wall 21, delaying the time for heat to be transferred to the first wall 21, reducing the risk of the housing 20 being melted through, and improving the reliability of the battery.
[0080] According to one embodiment of the present application, further referring to FIG5 , without limitation, the shape of the end cap 102 can be adapted to the shape of the shell 101 to match the shell 101. Optionally, the end cap 102 can be made of a material with a certain hardness and strength (such as an aluminum alloy), so that the end cap 102 is not easily deformed when squeezed or collided, so that the battery cell 10 can have a higher structural strength and improved reliability. Functional components such as electrode terminals 104 can be provided on the end cap 102. The electrode terminal 104 can be used to electrically connect to the electrode assembly 103 for outputting or inputting electrical energy of the battery cell 10.
[0081] The housing 101 is a component that cooperates with the end cap 102 to form the internal environment of the battery cell 10. This internal environment can be used to accommodate the electrode assembly 103, electrolyte, and other components. The housing 101 and end cap 102 can be separate components. An opening can be provided in the housing 101, and the end cap 102 is placed over the opening to form the internal environment of the battery cell 10. Alternatively, the end cap 102 and housing 101 can be integrated. Specifically, the end cap 102 and housing 101 can form a common connection surface before other components are inserted into the housing. When the interior of the housing 101 is to be enclosed, the end cap 102 is placed over the housing 101. The housing 101 can have a variety of shapes and sizes, such as a rectangular parallelepiped, a cylindrical shape, or a hexagonal prism. Specifically, the shape of the housing 101 can be determined based on the specific shape and size of the electrode assembly 103. The housing 101 can be made of a variety of materials, such as copper, iron, aluminum, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, plastic, etc., and this embodiment of the present application does not impose any particular limitations on this. End cap 102 can be made of a variety of materials, such as copper, iron, aluminum, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, and plastic, and this is not particularly limited in the present embodiment. In some embodiments, an insulating member can be disposed inside end cap 102 to isolate the electrical connection components within housing 101 from end cap 102 to reduce the risk of short circuits. Exemplary materials include plastic, rubber, and the like.

[0124] In a second aspect, the present application provides an electrical device, which includes the battery according to the above, and the battery is used to provide electrical energy.
[0125] According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to Figures 3 to 9 , a battery is provided, comprising a housing 20, a battery cell 10, and a protective member 30. In the arrangement direction x of the first wall 21 and the protective member 30, at least a portion of the support assembly 22 is located between the first wall 21 and the protective member 30, and at least a portion of the protective member 30 overlaps with the pressure relief mechanism 105. The protective member 30 is a mica board. The support assembly 22 is integrally formed with the first wall 21, protruding from the first wall 21 and facing the protective member 30. The projected area S1 of the protective member 30 on the first wall 21 along the arrangement direction x and the area S2 of the first wall 21 satisfy the following relationship: 90% S2 = S1. The support assembly 22 and the protective member 30 are spaced apart in the arrangement direction x. The support assembly 22 includes a plurality of first support members 221 and a plurality of second support units 222. The plurality of first support members 221 are cross-arranged to form a plurality of intersection positions 221a. In the arrangement direction x, the intersection positions 221a overlap with the pressure relief mechanism 105. The second support unit 222 is arranged along the circumference of the intersection position 221a. In the arrangement direction x, the second support unit 222 at least partially overlaps with the pressure relief mechanism 105. The second support unit 222 includes two second support members 2221 and two third support members 2222. Each second support member 2221 is connected to two adjacent third support members 2222. The two second support members 2221 are spaced apart and arranged opposite to each other along the first direction y. The first direction y is perpendicular to the arrangement direction x.
[0126] In the battery provided by the present application, the high-temperature, high-speed emissions released by the battery cell 10 during thermal runaway act on the protective member 30.
