Abstract
Description
vacuum cleaner
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a vacuum cleaner, and more particularly, to a vacuum cleaner having an improved structure to prevent hair or foreign matter from getting caught in a roller.
[0002] A vacuum cleaner is generally a device used to remove rubbish from an indoor space, thus cleaning it. Vacuum cleaners are widely used in homes. Vacuum cleaners utilize the suction power of a fan motor unit to suck in air, then separate the debris from the air using a filter or other device to clean the interior.
[0003] These vacuum cleaners are of the canister type and upright type, and recently, robot vacuum cleaners that move around the cleaning area on their own without user intervention and perform cleaning work by sucking up dust and other debris from the surface to be cleaned have become popular.
[0004] A canister vacuum cleaner includes a main body in which a blower and a dust collector are built in, a suction nozzle that is installed separately from the main body to suck up dust from the floor, and a connecting pipe that connects the main body and the suction nozzle.
[0005] Therefore, the user cleans by holding the handle installed on the connecting pipe and moving the suction nozzle in the direction of cleaning.
[0006] An upright vacuum cleaner comprises a vertical body and a suction nozzle integrated into the lower portion of the body. The user holds the handle located on the upper side of the body and moves the entire upright vacuum body to clean.
[0007] Upright vacuum cleaners incorporate drum brushes within the suction nozzle to enhance cleaning efficiency. These drum brushes rotate at high speed and, by contacting the surface being cleaned, detach foreign matter attached to the upper surface. These detached foreign matter is then sucked into the suction nozzle and collected by the dust collector built into the main unit.
[0008] The suction nozzle of such vacuum cleaners may be equipped with rollers to facilitate smooth movement.
[0009] One aspect of the present disclosure provides a vacuum cleaner capable of preventing hair or foreign matter from accumulating by improving a roller structure mounted on a suction nozzle.

[0086] The rotation shaft (120) and the roller (110) can be coupled to the roller installation bracket (151) at a second angle (θ2). The roller (110) is installed at a second angle (θ2) to the base (11) so that the inclined surface (112) at the first angle (θ1) comes into contact with the surface to be cleaned (B) and rotates. The inclined surface (112) of the roller (110) comes into contact with the surface to be cleaned (B) and rotates so that the suction nozzle (10) can move stably.
[0087] In addition, foreign substances such as hair on the cleaning surface (B) move toward the center of the base (11), i.e., toward the suction path (50), through the inclined surface (112) of the roller (110), so that foreign substances can be prevented from accumulating in the roller device (100).
[0088] Fig. 8 is a drawing showing a roller installation portion of a suction nozzle and a bypass hole formed in the roller installation portion according to one embodiment, and Fig. 9 is a drawing showing air flow through a bypass hole formed in the roller installation portion of a suction nozzle according to one embodiment. Hereinafter, descriptions of parts overlapping with the above description are omitted.
