[0002] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China on July 21, 2023, with application number 202310909379.7 and application name "A Cursor Position Determination Method and Remote Control Device", the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field

[0003] The present invention relates to the technical field of remote control devices, and in particular to a cursor position determination method and a remote control device. Background Art

[0004] When a user uses a remote control device to control a smart TV, if the remote control device is set to air mouse mode, the cursor corresponding to the remote control device can be displayed on the smart TV screen. When the user adjusts the position of the remote control device, the cursor on the smart TV screen will also move accordingly.

[0005] Currently, the positional relationship between the remote control device and the smart TV screen affects the movement distance of the cursor on the smart TV screen. How to prevent the movement of the cursor on the smart TV screen from being affected by the positional relationship between the remote control device and the smart TV screen is an urgent problem to be solved.

[0006] Summary of the Invention

[0007] The present application provides a cursor position determination method and a remote control device to solve the problem that when the distance between the remote control device and the screen device is different or the pointing direction of the remote control device is different, the cursor moves different distances on the screen device when the remote control device is deflected by the same angle.

[0008] In a first aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a method for determining a cursor position, the method comprising: when a pointing direction of a remote control device deflects, the remote control device determines a first deflection angle of the pointing direction of the remote control device relative to a first reference line, wherein the first reference line is a line connecting the position of the remote control device and the center position of a screen device; the remote control device determines a first offset distance based on the first deflection angle and a first virtual arc surface, wherein the remote control device is located within the arc of the first virtual arc surface, the screen device is located outside the arc of the first virtual arc surface, the center position of the first virtual arc surface is located on the first reference line, and the tangent at the center position of the first virtual arc surface is perpendicular to the first reference line; the remote control device determines the cursor position of a cursor corresponding to the remote control device on the screen device based on the center position of the screen device and the first offset distance. In this method, when the distance between the remote control device and the screen device is different or the pointing direction of the remote control device is different, the distance the cursor moves on the screen device remains the same when the remote control device is deflected by the same angle, so that the user can accurately control the movement accuracy of the cursor, thereby improving the user experience.

[0009] In one possible design, the first deflection angle includes a first horizontal deflection angle and a first vertical deflection angle. The remote control device determining the first deflection angle of the pointing direction of the remote control device relative to a first reference line may include: the remote control device using the angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and a first reference plane as the first horizontal deflection angle, where the first reference plane is a plane perpendicular to the horizontal plane and including the first reference line; and the remote control device further using the angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and a second reference plane as the first vertical deflection angle, where the second reference plane is a plane parallel to the horizontal plane and including the first reference line. This design provides a method for determining the first deflection angle.

[0010] In one possible design, the first offset distance includes a first horizontal offset distance and a first vertical offset distance. The remote control device may determine the first offset distance based on the first deflection angle and the first virtual arc surface by multiplying the radius of the first virtual arc surface by the first horizontal deflection angle as the first horizontal offset distance, and by multiplying the radius of the first virtual arc surface by the first vertical deflection angle as the first vertical offset distance. This design provides a method for determining the first offset distance.

[0011] In one possible design, the first offset distance includes a first horizontal offset distance and a first vertical offset distance. The remote control device determines the first offset distance based on the first deflection angle and the first virtual arc surface. This may include: the remote control device multiplies the radius of the first virtual arc surface by the first horizontal deflection angle as the second horizontal offset distance, and then multiplies the first horizontal adjustment ratio by the second horizontal offset distance as the first horizontal offset distance; the remote control device multiplies the radius of the first virtual arc surface by the first vertical deflection angle as the second vertical offset distance, and then multiplies the first vertical adjustment ratio by the second vertical offset distance as the first vertical offset distance. This design provides a method for determining the first offset distance.

[0012] In one possible design, a remote control device determines a cursor position of a cursor corresponding to the remote control device on a screen device based on the center position of the screen device and a first offset distance. This may include: the remote control device determining a first coordinate value based on the center position of the screen device and the first horizontal offset distance, and determining a second coordinate value based on the center position of the screen device and the first vertical offset distance; the remote control device combining the first coordinate value and the second coordinate value to form the coordinates of the cursor position; and determining the cursor position of the cursor corresponding to the remote control device on the screen device based on the coordinates of the cursor position. This design provides a method for determining the cursor position corresponding to a remote control device.

[0013] In one possible design, the method further includes: before determining a first deflection angle of the pointing direction of the remote control device relative to a first reference line when the pointing direction of the remote control device is deflected, the method further includes: the remote control device receiving a first operation, wherein the first operation includes an operation to deflect the pointing direction of the remote control device, and the radius length of the first virtual arc surface is a first length; or the remote control device receiving a second operation, wherein the second operation includes the first operation and a third operation on the touchpad of the remote control device, and the radius length of the first virtual arc surface is a second length; the second length is less than the first length. In the above method, while reducing the radius length of the first virtual arc surface, deflecting the remote control device by the same angle can reduce the movement speed of the cursor and improve the accuracy of the determined cursor position.

[0014] In one possible design, the method further includes: upon receiving a fourth operation, the remote control device determining a first deflection angle of the pointing direction of the remote control device relative to a first reference line, wherein the fourth operation includes an operation to deflect the pointing direction of the remote control device and a fifth operation on the touchpad of the remote control device, the first reference line being a line connecting the position of the remote control device and the center position of the screen device, the remote control device determining a third horizontal offset distance based on the first horizontal deflection angle and the second horizontal adjustment ratio, and determining a third vertical offset distance based on the first vertical deflection angle and the second vertical adjustment ratio, and the remote control device determining a cursor position of a cursor corresponding to the remote control device on the screen device based on the center position of the screen device, the third horizontal offset distance, and the third vertical offset distance. With this design, the cursor position changes with changes in the first horizontal deflection angle and the first vertical deflection angle, and is not affected by the radius of the first virtual arc surface, providing a convenient method for determining the cursor position.

[0015] In one possible design, the method further includes: when the remote control device receives a sixth operation on the touchpad, the remote control device determines the horizontal movement distance and vertical movement distance of the remote control device, wherein the sixth operation includes an operation to move the remote control device and a seventh operation on the touchpad of the remote control device; the remote control device determines a fourth horizontal offset distance based on the horizontal movement distance and the third horizontal adjustment ratio; and determines a fourth vertical offset distance based on the vertical movement distance and the third vertical adjustment ratio; the remote control device determines a cursor position of a cursor corresponding to the remote control device on the screen device based on the center position of the screen device, the fourth horizontal offset distance, and the fourth vertical offset distance. With this design, the cursor position changes with changes in the horizontal movement distance and the vertical movement distance, and is not affected by the radius of the first virtual arc surface, providing a convenient method for determining the cursor position.

[0016] In a second aspect, the present application further provides a remote control device capable of implementing the method of the first aspect and any possible implementation of the first aspect. The remote control device may be implemented in hardware or by hardware executing corresponding software implementations. The hardware or software may include one or more units or modules corresponding to the above-mentioned functions.

[0017] In a third aspect, embodiments of the present application further provide a remote control device comprising modules / units for executing the methods of the first aspect and any possible implementation of the first aspect. These modules / units may be implemented in hardware, or corresponding software implementations may be executed in hardware.

[0018] In a fourth aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a remote control device comprising a memory and a processor; wherein the processor is configured to execute a computer program or instruction stored in the memory, so that the head-mounted display device implements the method in the above-mentioned first aspect and any possible implementation manner of the first aspect.

The mobile communication module 140 may include at least one filter, a switch, a power amplifier, a low noise amplifier (LNA), etc. The mobile communication module 140 can receive electromagnetic waves from the antenna 1, and filter, amplify, and process the received electromagnetic waves, and transmit them to the modulation and demodulation processor for demodulation. The mobile communication module 140 can also amplify the signal modulated by the modulation and demodulation processor, and convert it into electromagnetic waves for radiation through the antenna 1. In some embodiments, at least some of the functional modules of the mobile communication module 140 can be set in the processor 110. In some embodiments, at least some of the functional modules of the mobile communication module 140 can be set in the same device as at least some of the modules of the processor 110.

[0140] The wireless communication module 150 can provide wireless communication solutions including wireless local area networks (WLAN) (such as wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) networks), Bluetooth (BT), global navigation satellite system (GNSS), frequency modulation (FM), near field communication (NFC), infrared (IR), etc., which are applied to the remote control device 100. The wireless communication module 150 can be one or more devices that integrate at least one communication processing module. The wireless communication module 150 receives electromagnetic waves via the antenna 2, frequency modulates and filters the electromagnetic wave signals, and sends the processed signals to the processor 110. [0142] The pressure sensor 160A is used to sense pressure signals and convert them into electrical signals. There are many types of pressure sensors 160A, such as resistive pressure sensors, inductive pressure sensors, capacitive pressure sensors, etc. A capacitive pressure sensor can be a device comprising at least two parallel plates having a conductive material. When a force acts on the pressure sensor 160A, the capacitance between the electrodes changes. The remote control device 100 determines the intensity of the pressure based on the change in capacitance. The remote control device 100 can also calculate the position of the touch based on the detection signal of the pressure sensor 160A. In some embodiments, touch operations acting on the same touch position but with different touch operation intensities may correspond to different operation instructions.

[0143] The gyro sensor 160B can be used to determine the motion of the remote control device 100. In some embodiments, the gyro sensor 160B can be used to determine the angular velocity of the remote control device 100 around three axes (i.e., the x, y, and z axes). The gyro sensor 160B can also be used for image stabilization. The gyro sensor 160B can also be used for navigation and somatosensory gaming.

[0144] The air pressure sensor 160C is used to measure air pressure. In some embodiments, the remote control device 100 calculates the altitude using the air pressure value measured by the air pressure sensor 160C to assist in positioning and navigation.

[0145] The magnetic sensor 160D includes a Hall effect sensor. The remote control device 100 can use the magnetic sensor 160D to detect the opening and closing of the flip cover. In some embodiments, when the remote control device 100 is a flip-type headset, the remote control device 100 can detect the opening and closing of the flip cover based on the magnetic sensor 160D. Based on the detected opening and closing status of the leather case or flip cover, features such as automatic unlocking of the flip cover can be configured.

[0146] Accelerometer 160E can detect the magnitude of acceleration of the remote control device 100 in all directions (generally three axes). When the remote control device 100 is stationary, it can detect the magnitude and direction of gravity. It can also be used to identify the electronic device's posture, enabling applications such as switching between landscape and portrait modes and pedometers.

[0147] The distance sensor 160F is used to measure distance. The remote control device 100 can measure distance using infrared or laser. In some embodiments, when shooting a scene, the remote control device 100 can use the distance sensor 160F to measure distance to achieve fast focusing.

[0148] The touch sensor 160K, also known as a "touch panel," is used to detect touch operations applied to or near it. The touch sensor can transmit the detected touch operations to the application processor to determine the type of touch event. In other embodiments, the touch sensor 160K can also be provided on the surface of the remote control device 100.

[0149] The buttons 170 include a power button, a volume button, and the like. The buttons 170 may be mechanical buttons or touch buttons. The remote control device 100 may receive key inputs and generate key signal inputs related to user settings and function control of the remote control device 100.

[0150] The indicator 171 may be an indicator light, which may be used to indicate the charging status, power level change, messages, missed calls, notifications, etc.

[0151] The software system of the remote control device 100 may adopt a layered architecture. In the embodiment of the present application, the Android system with a layered architecture is taken as an example to exemplify the software structure of the remote control device 100 .

[0152] FIG1D is a software structure block diagram of the remote control device 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0153] A layered architecture divides software into several layers, each with distinct roles and responsibilities. Layers communicate with each other through software interfaces. In some embodiments, the Android system is divided into four layers: the application layer, the application framework layer, the Android runtime and system libraries, and the kernel layer.

[0154] The application layer can include a series of application packages.

[0155] As shown in FIG1D , the application package may include applications such as WLAN and Bluetooth.

[0156] The application framework layer provides an application programming interface (API) and programming framework for applications in the application layer. The application framework layer includes some predefined functions.

[0157] As shown in FIG1D , the application framework layer may include a window manager, a content provider, and the like.

[0158] The window manager is used to manage window programs. The window manager can obtain the display size, determine whether there is a status bar, lock the screen, take screenshots, etc.

[0159] Content providers are used to store and retrieve data and make this data accessible to applications.

[0160] Android Runtime includes core libraries and a virtual machine. Android runtime is responsible for scheduling and management of the Android system.

[0161] The core library consists of two parts: one is the function that needs to be called by the Java language, and the other is the Android core library.

[0162] The application layer and application framework layer run in a virtual machine. The virtual machine executes Java files in the application layer and application framework layer as binary files. The virtual machine manages object lifecycles, stack management, thread management, security and exception management, and garbage collection.

[0163] The system library can include multiple functional modules, such as the surface manager.

[0164] The surface manager is used to manage the display subsystem and provide fusion of 2D and 3D layers for multiple applications.

[0165] The kernel layer is the layer between hardware and software. The kernel layer includes at least display drivers and sensor drivers.

[0166] In conjunction with the accompanying drawings, taking the screen device as a smart TV screen as an example, the positional relationship between the remote control device and the smart TV screen is further explained.

[0167] When a user uses a remote control device to control a smart TV, the user can operate the buttons on the remote control device to switch the remote control device to air mouse mode. As shown in the scenario diagram in Figure 2, after the remote control device switches to air mouse mode, the remote control device can transmit cursor position information to the smart TV. The smart TV can then display the cursor at a position corresponding to the cursor position information on the smart TV screen based on the cursor position information.

[0168] In the scene diagram shown in Figure 3A, the distance between the remote control device and the smart TV screen is L1. The user holds the remote control device so that the direction of the remote control device starts from perpendicular to the smart TV screen and deflects it horizontally at an angle a. The distance the cursor moves on the smart TV screen is L2. In the scene diagram shown in Figure 3B, the distance between the remote control device and the smart TV screen is L3, where L3 is greater than L1. The user holds the remote control device so that the direction of the remote control device starts from perpendicular to the smart TV screen and deflects it horizontally at an angle a. However, the distance the cursor moves on the smart TV screen is L4, which is greater than L2. In other words, when the distance between the remote control device and the smart TV screen is different, the distance the cursor moves on the smart TV screen when the remote control device is deflected by the same angle is different. That is, when the remote control device is deflected by the same angle, the greater the distance between the remote control device and the smart TV screen, the greater the distance the cursor moves on the smart TV screen; the smaller the distance between the remote control device and the smart TV screen, the smaller the distance the cursor moves on the smart TV screen. This will cause the cursor movement accuracy to be affected by the distance between the remote control device and the smart TV screen when the user uses the remote control device, and the user cannot accurately control the cursor movement accuracy, which reduces the user experience.

[0169] In the scene diagram shown in Figure 4A, the distance between the remote control device and the smart TV screen is L1. The user holds the remote control device so that the pointing direction of the remote control device starts from perpendicular to the smart TV screen (i.e., the angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and the horizontal plane is 0), and deflects the cursor on the horizontal plane by angle a. The distance the cursor moves on the smart TV screen is L2. In the scene diagram shown in Figure 4B, the distance between the remote control device and the smart TV screen is L1. The user holds the remote control device so that the pointing direction of the remote control device starts from an angle b with the horizontal plane, and deflects the cursor on the horizontal plane by angle a. However, the distance L5 that the cursor moves on the smart TV screen is greater than L2. In other words, when the pointing direction of the remote control device is different, the distance the cursor moves on the smart TV screen is different when the remote control device is deflected by the same angle. That is, when the remote control device is deflected by the same angle, the greater the angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and the horizontal plane, the greater the distance the cursor moves on the smart TV screen; the smaller the angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and the horizontal plane, the smaller the distance the cursor moves on the smart TV screen. This will cause the cursor movement accuracy to be affected by the pointing direction of the remote control device when the user is using the remote control device, and the user cannot accurately control the cursor movement accuracy, which reduces the user experience.

[0170] The following embodiments can all be implemented in an electronic device having the above hardware structure (eg, remote control device 100). The following embodiments will take the remote control device 100 as an example and describe in detail the cursor position determination method provided by the present application in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0171] FIG5 exemplarily shows a flow chart of a method for determining a cursor position provided by an embodiment of the present application. The method for determining a cursor position may include:

[0172] S501: When the pointing direction of the remote control device is deflected, the remote control device determines a first deflection angle of the pointing direction of the remote control device relative to a first reference line.

[0173] Before the remote control device executes S501, the remote control device receives a first operation, wherein the first operation includes a user's operation of deflecting the pointing direction of the remote control device. The deflection of the pointing direction of the remote control device includes horizontal deflection and / or vertical deflection.

[0174] To facilitate defining the remote control device's location, a geodetic reference coordinate system can be established, as shown in Figure 6A. One definition of a geodetic reference coordinate system is as follows: the positive x-axis is tangent to the ground at the remote control device's current location, pointing directly east. The positive y-axis is also tangent to the ground, pointing toward the magnetic north pole. The xOy plane formed by the x- and y-axes is the horizontal plane. The positive z-axis is perpendicular to the horizontal plane, pointing toward the sky. The geodetic reference coordinate system shown in Figure 6A is applied to a scenario involving a remote control device and a smart TV, as shown in Figure 6B. In this scenario, several possible implementations of the positional relationship between the remote control device and the smart TV screen are provided.

[0175] In the first embodiment, in the geodetic coordinate system, the first plane of the remote control device in FIG6B is parallel to the horizontal plane, wherein the first plane is the plane where the buttons on the remote control device are located, and the smart TV screen in FIG6B is parallel to the xOz plane formed by the x-axis and the z-axis.

[0176] Among them, the first plane of the remote control device is parallel to the horizontal plane, which can be understood as: the angle between the first plane of the remote control device and the horizontal plane is 0, or the angle between the first plane of the remote control device and the horizontal plane is θ, θ is greater than 0 and less than the first angle threshold. The first angle threshold can be set according to actual needs, and this article does not impose any restrictions on this.

[0177] The smart TV screen is parallel to the xOz plane, which can be understood as: the angle between the smart TV screen and the xOz plane is 0, or the angle between the smart TV screen and the xOz plane is θ, θ is greater than 0 and less than the first angle threshold. The first angle threshold can be set according to actual needs, and this article does not impose any restrictions on this.

[0178] In this first embodiment, the top view (i.e., the view seen along the negative direction of the z-axis) corresponding to the scene shown in Figure 6B in the geodetic coordinate system is shown in Figure 7A, and the left view (i.e., the view seen along the negative direction of the x-axis) corresponding to the scene shown in Figure 6B is shown in Figure 7B.

[0179] After the remote control device is turned on, when the head of the remote control device is pointed at the smart TV screen, a cursor can be displayed on the smart TV screen. The position of the cursor is the position where the remote control device can control the smart TV screen. For example, in the top view shown in Figure 7A and the left view shown in Figure 7B, the first plane of the remote control device is parallel to the horizontal plane (i.e., the xOy plane in the geodetic coordinate system) and the head of the remote control device is pointed at position 1 on the smart TV screen, and the cursor corresponding to the remote control device is displayed at position 1 on the smart TV screen. The user can hold the remote control device and adjust the pointing direction of the remote control device to change the position of the smart TV screen that needs to be controlled. Adjusting the pointing direction of the remote control device includes horizontal deflection and / or vertical deflection. Three possible implementation methods are provided below.

[0180] In a first possible implementation, the remote control device is deflected horizontally, i.e., the tail of the remote control device is fixed, and the head of the remote control device is deflected by an angle a (where a is greater than 0) on a horizontal plane along the positive direction of the x-axis. As shown in the top view of FIG7C and the left view of FIG7D , the cursor corresponding to the deflected remote control device is displayed at position 2 on the smart TV screen. Based on FIG7A , FIG7B , FIG7C , and FIG7D , it can be seen that by deflecting the head of the remote control device by an angle a on a horizontal plane along the positive direction of the x-axis, the cursor on the smart TV screen will also move a certain distance along the positive direction of the x-axis. In some embodiments, the tail of the remote control device can also be fixed, and the head of the remote control device can be deflected by an angle a on a horizontal plane along the negative direction of the x-axis. This will not be described in detail here.

[0181] In a second possible implementation, the remote control device is deflected vertically, i.e., the tail of the remote control device is fixed, and the head of the remote control device is deflected by an angle b (where b is greater than 0) along the positive direction of the z-axis on the yOz plane formed by the y-axis and the z-axis. As shown in the top view of Figure 7E and the left view of Figure 7F, the cursor corresponding to the deflected remote control device is displayed at position 3 on the smart TV screen. Based on Figures 7A, 7B, 7E, and 7F, it can be seen that when the head of the remote control device is deflected by an angle b along the positive direction of the z-axis on the yOz plane, the cursor on the smart TV screen will also move a certain distance along the positive direction of the z-axis. In some embodiments, the tail of the remote control device can also be fixed, and the head of the remote control device can be rotated by an angle b along the negative direction of the z-axis on the yOz plane. This will not be described in detail here.

[0182] In a third possible implementation, the remote control device is deflected both horizontally and vertically. Specifically, the tail of the remote control device is fixed, the head of the remote control device is deflected by angle a along the positive direction of the x-axis on a horizontal plane, and the head of the remote control device is deflected by angle b along the positive direction of the z-axis on a yOz plane formed by the y-axis and the z-axis (where a is greater than 0 and b is greater than 0). As shown in the top view of FIG7G and the left view of FIG7H , the cursor corresponding to the deflected remote control device is displayed on the smart TV screen at position 4. Based on FIG7A , FIG7B , FIG7G , and FIG7H , it can be seen that when the head of the remote control device is deflected by angle a along the positive direction of the x-axis on a horizontal plane, the cursor on the smart TV screen will also move a certain distance along the positive direction of the x-axis. When the head of the remote control device is deflected by angle b along the positive direction of the z-axis on the yOz plane, the cursor on the smart TV screen will also move a certain distance along the positive direction of the z-axis. In some embodiments, the tail of the remote control device can be fixed, and the head of the remote control device can be deflected by an angle a along the negative direction of the x-axis on the horizontal plane; at the same time, the tail of the remote control device can be fixed, and the head of the remote control device can be rotated by an angle b along the negative direction of the z-axis on the yOz plane, which will not be repeated here.

[0183] Implementation method two: in the geodetic coordinate system, the first plane of the remote control device in Figure 6B is parallel to the second plane, where the angle between the second plane and the horizontal plane is angle c, the first plane is the plane where the buttons on the remote control device are located, angle c is greater than 0 and less than 180 degrees, and the smart TV screen in Figure 6B is parallel to the xOz plane formed by the x-axis and the z-axis.

[0184] In this second embodiment, the top view (i.e., the view seen along the negative direction of the z-axis) corresponding to the scene shown in Figure 6B in the geodetic coordinate system is shown in Figure 8A, and the left view (i.e., the view seen along the negative direction of the x-axis) corresponding to the scene shown in Figure 6B is shown in Figure 8B.

[0185] After the remote control device is turned on and the head of the remote control device is pointed at the smart TV screen, a cursor can be displayed on the smart TV screen. The location of the cursor is the location where the remote control device can control the smart TV screen. For example, in the top view shown in Figure 8A and the left view shown in Figure 8B, the angle between the first plane of the remote control device and the horizontal plane is angle c and the head of the remote control device is pointed at position 5 on the smart TV screen. The corresponding cursor of the remote control device is displayed at position 5 on the smart TV screen. The user can hold the remote control device and adjust the pointing direction of the remote control device to change the location on the smart TV screen where control is desired. Adjusting the pointing direction of the remote control device includes horizontal deflection and / or vertical deflection. Three possible implementations are provided below.

[0186] In a first possible implementation, the remote control device is deflected horizontally, i.e., the tail of the remote control device is fixed, and the head of the remote control device is deflected by an angle a (where a is greater than 0) along the positive direction of the x-axis on a second plane. As shown in the top view of FIG8C and the left view of FIG8D , after the deflection, the cursor corresponding to the remote control device is displayed at position 6 on the smart TV screen. Based on FIG8A , FIG8B , FIG8C , and FIG8D , it can be seen that by deflecting the head of the remote control device by an angle a along the positive direction of the x-axis on the second plane, the cursor on the smart TV screen will also move a certain distance along the positive direction of the x-axis. In some embodiments, the tail of the remote control device can also be fixed, and the head of the remote control device can be deflected by an angle a along the negative direction of the x-axis on the second plane. This will not be described in detail here.

[0187] In a second possible implementation, the remote control device is deflected vertically, i.e., the tail of the remote control device is fixed, and the head of the remote control device is deflected by an angle b (where b is greater than 0) along the positive direction of the z-axis on the yOz plane formed by the y-axis and the z-axis. As shown in the top view of Figure 8E and the left view of Figure 8F, after the deflection, the cursor corresponding to the remote control device is displayed at position 7 on the smart TV screen. Based on Figures 8A, 8B, 8E, and 8F, it can be seen that when the head of the remote control device is deflected by an angle b along the positive direction of the z-axis on the yOz plane, the cursor on the smart TV screen will also move a certain distance along the positive direction of the z-axis. In some embodiments, the tail of the remote control device can also be fixed, and the head of the remote control device can be rotated by an angle b along the negative direction of the z-axis on the yOz plane, which will not be described in detail here.

[0188] In a third possible implementation, the remote control device is simultaneously deflected horizontally and vertically. Specifically, the tail of the remote control device is fixed, the head of the remote control device is deflected by angle a along the positive direction of the x-axis on a second plane, and the head of the remote control device is deflected by angle b along the positive direction of the z-axis on a yOz plane formed by the y-axis and the z-axis (where a is greater than 0 and b is greater than 0). As shown in the top view of FIG8G and the left view of FIG8H , the cursor corresponding to the deflected remote control device is displayed on the smart TV screen at position 8. Based on FIG8A , FIG8B , FIG8G , and FIG8H , it can be seen that when the head of the remote control device is deflected by angle a along the positive direction of the x-axis on the second plane, the cursor on the smart TV screen will also move a certain distance along the positive direction of the x-axis. When the head of the remote control device is deflected by angle b along the positive direction of the z-axis on the yOz plane, the cursor on the smart TV screen will also move a certain distance along the positive direction of the z-axis. In some embodiments, the tail of the remote control device can also be fixed, and the head of the remote control device can be deflected by an angle a along the negative direction of the x-axis on the second plane; at the same time, the tail of the remote control device can be fixed, and the head of the remote control device can be rotated by an angle b along the negative direction of the z-axis on the yOz plane, which will not be repeated here.

[0189] In the embodiment of the present application, the first reference line is determined based on the position of the remote control device and the center position of the screen device. The position of the remote control device can be the center position of the head of the remote control device (see FIG9 ), or can be determined based on the center position of the remote control device (see FIG10 ), or can be determined by other methods, which are not limited here.

[0190] In one possible implementation, the line between the position of the remote control device and the center position of the screen device is used as the first reference line. The position of the remote control device is not fixed, and the user can adjust the position of the remote control device at any time. When the screen device is fixed, the first reference line changes as the position of the remote control device changes. Taking the screen device as a smart TV screen as an example, as shown in Figure 11, the position of the remote control device is directly in front of the center position of the screen, then the first reference line is perpendicular to the plane where the smart TV screen is located, that is, the first reference line is the median perpendicular line of the smart TV screen. For example, as shown in Figure 12, the position of the remote control device is not directly in front of the center position of the screen, then there is a certain angle between the first reference line and the median perpendicular line of the smart TV screen.

[0191] As shown in Figures 13A and 13B , the pointing direction of the remote control device can be considered as a straight line starting from the position of the remote control device and parallel to the long edge line of the remote control device. The pointing direction of the remote control device is affected by the position of the remote control device.

[0192] The first reference line is not affected by the pointing direction of the remote control device. The following examples are all based on the screen device being a smart TV screen.

[0193] As shown in FIG14A , when the position of the remote control device remains unchanged but the pointing direction of the remote control device changes, the first reference line remains unchanged and is not affected by the pointing direction of the remote control device. As shown in FIG14B , when the position of the remote control device changes but the pointing direction of the remote control device remains unchanged, the first reference line changes along with the position of the remote control device. As shown in FIG14C , when the position of the remote control device changes and the pointing direction of the remote control device changes, the first reference line changes along with the position of the remote control device and is not affected by the pointing direction of the remote control device.

[0194] The first reference line and the pointing direction of the remote control device may include the following multiple possible relationships, which are all described below using the screen device as a smart TV screen as an example.

[0195] Taking the scene shown in Figure 15A, the remote control device is located directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, and the pointing direction of the remote control device is perpendicular to the smart TV screen as an example. Figure 15B is a top view corresponding to Figure 15A, and Figure 15C is a left view corresponding to Figure 15A. Combining Figure 15B and Figure 15C, it can be seen that the pointing direction of the remote control device coincides with the first reference line.

[0196] Taking the scene shown in Figure 16A, the remote control device is located directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, and the pointing direction of the remote control device is not perpendicular to the smart TV screen as an example. Figure 16B is a top view corresponding to Figure 16A, and Figure 16C is a left view corresponding to Figure 16A. Combining Figure 16B and Figure 16C, it can be seen that the pointing direction of the remote control device does not coincide with the first reference line.

[0197] Taking the scene shown in Figure 17A, the position of the remote control device is not directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, and the pointing direction of the remote control device is not perpendicular to the smart TV screen as an example, Figure 17B is a top view corresponding to Figure 17A, and Figure 17C is a left view corresponding to Figure 17A. Combining Figure 17B and Figure 17C, it can be seen that the pointing direction of the remote control device does not coincide with the first reference line.

[0198] In the embodiment of the present application, the remote control device may determine the first deflection angle of the pointing direction of the remote control device relative to the first reference line in the following two possible implementations:

[0199] In a first possible implementation manner, the remote control device determining a first deflection angle of a pointing direction of the remote control device relative to a first reference line may include the following steps:

[0200] In one possible implementation, the angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and a first reference plane is used as the first horizontal deflection angle, where the first reference plane is a plane perpendicular to the horizontal plane and includes the first reference line. The angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and a second reference plane is used as the first vertical deflection angle, where the second reference plane is a plane parallel to the horizontal plane and includes the first reference line. Finally, the obtained first horizontal deflection angle and first vertical deflection angle are used as the first deflection angle.

[0201] It should be understood that the method for calculating the angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and the first reference plane, or the angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and the second reference plane can refer to the method for calculating the angle between a straight line and a plane in geometry, which will not be repeated here.

[0202] Taking the scene shown in Figure 15A, the remote control device is located directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, and the pointing direction of the remote control device is perpendicular to the smart TV screen as an example. Figure 15B is a top view corresponding to Figure 15A, and Figure 15C is a left view corresponding to Figure 15A. Combining Figure 15B and Figure 15C, it can be seen that the pointing direction of the remote control device coincides with the first reference line. When the pointing direction of the remote control device coincides with the first reference line, it can be seen that the first horizontal deflection angle and the first vertical deflection angle are both 0.

[0203] Taking the scene shown in Figure 18A, the remote control device is located directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, and the pointing direction of the remote control device is not perpendicular to the smart TV screen as an example. Figure 18B is a top view corresponding to Figure 18A, and Figure 18C is a left view corresponding to Figure 18A. Combining Figure 18B and Figure 18C, it can be seen that the first reference plane is a plane perpendicular to the horizontal plane and including the first reference line, and the second reference plane is a plane parallel to the horizontal plane and including the first reference line. The angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and the first reference plane is angle a1, so the first horizontal deflection angle is a1, and the angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and the second reference plane is angle b1, so the first vertical deflection angle is b1.

[0204] Taking the scene shown in Figure 19A, the position of the remote control device is not directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, and the pointing direction of the remote control device is not perpendicular to the smart TV screen as an example, Figure 19B is a top view corresponding to Figure 19A, and Figure 19C is a left view corresponding to Figure 19A. Combining Figure 19B and Figure 19C, it can be seen that the first reference plane is a plane perpendicular to the horizontal plane and including the first reference line, and the second reference plane is a plane parallel to the horizontal plane and including the first reference line. The angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and the first reference plane is angle a2, so the first horizontal deflection angle is a2, and the angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and the second reference plane is angle b2, so the first vertical deflection angle is b2.

[0205] In a second possible implementation, the remote control device may determine the first deflection angle of the pointing direction of the remote control device relative to the first reference line by the following steps as shown in FIG20 :

[0206] S2001: The remote control device determines a second reference line based on the position of the remote control device and the position of the screen device.

[0207] In the embodiment of the present application, a straight line perpendicular to the screen device is determined, starting from the position of the remote control device. The intersection of the straight line and the screen device is the end point, and the line connecting the starting point and the end point serves as the second reference line. Therefore, when the screen device is fixed, the second reference line changes as the position of the remote control device changes.

[0208] The following examples are all based on the screen device being a smart TV screen.

[0209] For example, as shown in FIG21A , the remote control device is located directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, and the determined second reference line coincides with the first reference line.

[0210] For example, as shown in FIG21B , the remote control device is not located directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, and the determined second reference line does not overlap with the first reference line.

[0211] In addition, the second reference line is not affected by the pointing direction of the remote control device. The following examples are all based on the screen device being a smart TV screen. As shown in FIG22A, when the position of the remote control device remains unchanged and the pointing direction of the remote control device changes, the second reference line remains unchanged and is not affected by the pointing direction of the remote control device. As shown in FIG22B, when the position of the remote control device changes and the pointing direction of the remote control device remains unchanged, the second reference line changes with the position of the remote control device. As shown in FIG22C, when the position of the remote control device changes and the pointing direction of the remote control device changes, the second reference line changes with the position of the remote control device and is not affected by the pointing direction of the remote control device.

[0212] S2002: The remote control device determines a second deflection angle based on the first reference line and the second reference line.

[0213] In the embodiment of the present application, the second deflection angle includes a second horizontal deflection angle and / or a second vertical deflection angle.

[0214] In the embodiment of the present application, determining the second horizontal deflection angle and the second vertical deflection angle may include the following two possible implementations:

[0215] In one possible implementation, the angle between the second reference line and a third reference plane is used as the second horizontal deflection angle, where the third reference plane is a plane perpendicular to the horizontal plane and includes the first reference line. The angle between the second reference line and a fourth reference plane is used as the second vertical deflection angle, where the fourth reference plane is a plane parallel to the horizontal plane and includes the first reference line. Finally, the obtained second horizontal deflection angle and second vertical deflection angle are used as the second deflection angle.

[0216] It should be understood that the method for calculating the angle between the second reference line and the third reference plane, or the angle between the second reference line and the fourth reference plane can refer to the method for calculating the angle between a straight line and a plane in geometry, which will not be described in detail here.

[0217] In another possible implementation, the length of the second reference line is used as the first distance, wherein the first distance is the distance between the position of the remote control device and the center position of the screen device in the y-axis direction; the distance between the end point of the second reference line and the center position of the screen device in the x-axis direction is used as the second distance, wherein the second distance is the distance between the position of the remote control device and the center position of the screen device in the x-axis direction; the distance between the end point of the second reference line and the center position of the screen device in the z-axis direction is used as the third distance, wherein the third distance is the distance between the position of the remote control device and the center position of the screen device in the z-axis direction.

[0218] After determining the first distance, the second distance and the third distance, the second horizontal deflection angle and the second vertical deflection angle can be determined according to the inverse tangent function, where the second horizontal deflection angle = arctan (second distance / first distance), and the second vertical deflection angle = arctan (third distance / first distance), where / is a semicolon.

[0219] The second horizontal deflection angle is shown in formula (1):

[0220] Where Δα_horizontal represents the second horizontal deflection angle, distance_x represents the second distance, and distance_y represents the first distance. The second vertical deflection angle is shown in formula (2):

[0221] Wherein, Δα_vertical represents the second vertical deflection angle, distance_z represents the third distance, and distance_y represents the first distance.

[0222] The following examples are all based on the screen device being a smart TV screen.

[0223] For example, in the scenario shown in FIG23A , the remote control device is positioned directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, and its pointing direction is perpendicular to the smart TV screen. FIG23B is a top view corresponding to FIG23A , and FIG23C is a left view corresponding to FIG23A . Combining FIG23B and FIG23C , it can be seen that the first reference line and the second reference line coincide, so the determined first distance is d1, and the second and third distances are both 0. According to the inverse tangent function, the second horizontal deflection angle = arctan(0 / d1) = 0, and the second vertical deflection angle = arctan(0 / d1) = 0.

[0224] For example, in the scenario shown in FIG24A , the remote control device is positioned directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, and its pointing direction is not perpendicular to the smart TV screen. FIG24B is a top view corresponding to FIG24A , and FIG24C is a left view corresponding to FIG24A . Combining FIG24B and FIG24C , it can be seen that the first reference line and the second reference line coincide, so the determined first distance is d1, and the second and third distances are both 0. According to the inverse tangent function, the second horizontal deflection angle = arctan(0 / d1) = 0, and the second vertical deflection angle = arctan(0 / d1) = 0.

[0225] For example, in the scenario shown in Figure 25A, the remote control device is not directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, and its pointing direction is not perpendicular to the smart TV screen. Figure 25B is a top view corresponding to Figure 25A, and Figure 25C is a left view corresponding to Figure 25A. Combining Figures 25B and 25C shows that the first reference line and the second reference line do not coincide, so the determined first distance is d1, the second distance is d2, and the third distance is d3. According to the inverse tangent function, the second horizontal deflection angle = arctan(d2 / d1), and the second vertical deflection angle = arctan(d3 / d1).

[0226] S2003: The remote control device determines a third deflection angle based on the second reference line and the pointing direction of the remote control device.

[0227] In the embodiment of the present application, the third deflection angle includes a third horizontal deflection angle and / or a third vertical deflection angle.

[0228] In one possible implementation, the angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and a fifth reference plane is used as the third horizontal deflection angle, where the fifth reference plane is a plane perpendicular to the horizontal plane and includes the first reference line. The angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and a sixth reference plane is used as the third vertical deflection angle, where the sixth reference plane is parallel to the horizontal plane and includes the first reference line. Finally, the obtained third horizontal deflection angle and third vertical deflection angle are used as the third deflection angle.

[0229] It should be understood that the method for calculating the angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and the fifth reference plane, or the angle between the pointing direction of the remote control device and the sixth reference plane can refer to the method for calculating the angle between a straight line and a plane in geometry, which will not be repeated here.

[0230] S2004: The remote control device determines a first deflection angle based on the second deflection angle and the third deflection angle.

[0231] In an embodiment of the present application, if the pointing direction of the remote control device is not between the first reference line and the second reference line, the sum of the second horizontal deflection angle and the third horizontal deflection angle is the first horizontal deflection angle, and the sum of the second vertical deflection angle and the third vertical deflection angle is the first vertical deflection angle.

[0232] If the pointing direction of the remote control device is between the first reference line and the second reference line, the difference between the second horizontal deflection angle and the third horizontal deflection angle is the first horizontal deflection angle, and the difference between the second vertical deflection angle and the third vertical deflection angle is the first vertical deflection angle.

[0233] Finally, the obtained first horizontal deflection angle and first vertical deflection angle are used as the first deflection angle.

[0234] The following examples are all based on the screen device being a smart TV screen.

[0235] Taking the scenario shown in Figure 26A, where the remote control device is located directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen and its pointing direction is perpendicular to the smart TV screen, as an example, Figure 26B is a top view corresponding to Figure 26A, and Figure 26C is a left view corresponding to Figure 26A. Combining Figures 26B and 26C, it can be seen that the first reference line and the second reference line coincide, so the determined first distance is d1, and the second and third distances are both 0. According to the inverse tangent function, the second horizontal deflection angle = arctan(0 / d1) = 0, and the second vertical deflection angle = arctan(0 / d1) = 0. Based on the pointing direction of the remote control device and the fifth reference plane, the third horizontal deflection angle can be determined, and the third horizontal deflection angle is 0. Based on the pointing direction of the remote control device and the sixth reference plane, the third vertical deflection angle can be determined, and the third vertical deflection angle is 0. Therefore, the first horizontal deflection angle is 0, and the first vertical deflection angle is 0.

[0236] Taking the scenario shown in Figure 27A, where the remote control device is located directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen and its pointing direction is not perpendicular to the smart TV screen, as an example, Figure 27B is a top view corresponding to Figure 27A, and Figure 27C is a left view corresponding to Figure 27A. Combining Figures 27B and 27C, it can be seen that the first reference line and the second reference line coincide, so the determined first distance is d1, and the second and third distances are both 0. According to the inverse tangent function, the second horizontal deflection angle = arctan(0 / d1) = 0, and the second vertical deflection angle = arctan(0 / d1) = 0. Based on the pointing direction of the remote control device and the fifth reference plane, the third horizontal deflection angle can be determined, which is angle a2. Based on the pointing direction of the remote control device and the sixth reference plane, the third vertical deflection angle can be determined, which is angle b2. Therefore, the first horizontal deflection angle is a2, and the first vertical deflection angle is b2.

[0237] Taking the scenario shown in Figure 28A as an example, where the remote control device is located directly in front of the smart TV screen, not at the center, and the placement of the remote control device is not perpendicular to the smart TV screen, Figure 28B is a top view corresponding to Figure 28A, and Figure 28C is a left view corresponding to Figure 28A. Combining Figures 28B and 28C, it can be seen that the first reference line and the second reference line do not overlap, so the first distance determined is d1, the second distance is d2, and the third distance is d3. According to the inverse tangent function, the second horizontal deflection angle = arctan(d2 / d1), and the second vertical deflection angle = arctan(d3 / d1). Based on the pointing direction of the remote control device and the fifth reference plane, the third horizontal deflection angle can be determined, which is angle a2. Based on the pointing direction of the remote control device and the sixth reference plane, the third vertical deflection angle can be determined, which is angle b2. Since the pointing direction of the remote control device is not between the first reference line and the second reference line, the first horizontal deflection angle is (arctan(d2 / d1)+a2) and the first vertical deflection angle is (arctan(d3 / d1)+b2).

[0238] Taking the scenario shown in Figure 29A, where the remote control device is located directly in front of the smart TV screen, not at the center, and the placement of the remote control device is not perpendicular to the smart TV screen, as an example, Figure 29B is a top view corresponding to Figure 29A, and Figure 29C is a left view corresponding to Figure 29A. Combining Figures 29B and 29C, it can be seen that the first reference line and the second reference line do not overlap, so the determined first distance is d1, the second distance is d2, and the third distance is d3. Since the pointing direction of the remote control device is located between the first reference line and the second reference line, the first horizontal deflection angle is (arctan (d2 / d1)-a2) and the first vertical deflection angle is (arctan (d3 / d1)-b2).

[0239] In the embodiment of the present application, the first horizontal deflection angle and the first vertical deflection angle determined by the above implementation are both in degrees. To facilitate subsequent calculations, the first horizontal deflection angle and the first vertical deflection angle can be modified to radians using the corresponding relationship between degrees and radians. The corresponding relationship between degrees and radians is: 1 degree = π / 180 radians, where / represents a semicolon.

[0240] S502: The remote control device determines a first offset distance based on the first deflection angle and the first virtual arc surface, and determines a cursor position of a cursor corresponding to the remote control device on the screen device based on the center position of the screen device and the first offset distance.

[0241] In an embodiment of the present application, as shown in the top view of Figure 30, the first virtual curved surface is located between the remote control device and the screen device, the remote control device is located within the arc of the first virtual curved surface, and the screen device is located outside the arc of the first virtual curved surface. The radius of the first virtual curved surface is a fixed value, and the radius length of the first virtual curved surface is a first length. When the position of the remote control device or the pointing direction of the remote control device changes, the radius of the first virtual curved surface remains unchanged. The arc length of the first virtual curved surface is a fixed value. When the position of the remote control device or the pointing direction of the remote control device changes, the arc length of the first virtual curved surface remains unchanged.

[0242] The center position of the first virtual arc surface is located on the first reference line, and the tangent line at the center position of the first virtual arc surface is perpendicular to the first reference line.

[0243] When the position of the remote control device changes, the first reference line changes with the remote control device's position, and the first virtual arc surface also changes accordingly. The first virtual arc surface can be considered to be composed of multiple points. Before and after the first virtual arc surface changes, the relative distance between any point on the first virtual arc surface and the position of the remote control device remains unchanged.

[0244] In one possible implementation, the remote control device may determine the first virtual curved surface by including the following possible steps as shown in FIG31 :

[0245] S3101: The remote control device determines a first reference position on a second reference line that is a first preset distance away from the position of the remote control device.

[0246] In the embodiment of the present application, the y-axis coordinate of the first reference position is located between the y-axis coordinate of the remote control device and the y-axis coordinate of the screen.

[0247] S3102: The remote control device determines a second virtual arc surface based on the first reference position.

[0248] In the embodiment of the present application, the center position of the second virtual arc surface coincides with the first reference position, and the tangent line at the center position of the second virtual arc surface is perpendicular to the second reference line.

[0249] S3103: The remote control device determines a second reference position on the first reference line that is a first preset distance away from the position of the remote control device.

[0250] S3104: Adjust the second virtual arc surface according to the first reference position and the second reference position to obtain the first virtual arc surface.

[0251] In some embodiments, the second horizontal deflection angle and the second vertical deflection angle have been determined above, that is, the second horizontal deflection angle Second vertical deflection angle I will not go into details here.

[0252] The second virtual arc surface is rotated horizontally by a second horizontal deflection angle and vertically by a second vertical deflection angle to obtain the first virtual arc surface. The center position of the first virtual arc surface coincides with the second reference position, and the tangent line at the center position of the first virtual arc surface is perpendicular to the first reference line. The radius of the first virtual arc surface is equal to the radius of the second virtual arc surface. The arc length of the first virtual arc surface is equal to the arc length of the second virtual arc surface.

[0253] The following examples are all based on the screen device being a smart TV screen.

[0254] Taking the scenario shown in Figure 32, the remote control device is located directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, and the pointing direction of the remote control device is perpendicular to the smart TV screen as an example, in this scenario, the first reference line coincides with the second reference line, and the remote control device determines a first reference position on the second reference line that is a first preset distance away from the position of the remote control device. The remote control device determines a second virtual arc surface based on the first reference position, wherein the center position of the second virtual arc surface coincides with the first reference position, and the tangent at the center position of the second virtual arc surface is perpendicular to the second reference line.

[0255] The remote control device determines a second reference position on the first reference line that is a first preset distance from the remote control device. Because the first reference line and the second reference line coincide with each other, the determined second reference position coincides with the first reference position. The second virtual arc surface is adjusted based on the first reference position and the second reference position, so that the obtained first virtual arc surface and the second virtual arc surface coincide with each other.

[0256] When the remote control device is located directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen and the pointing direction of the remote control device is not perpendicular to the smart TV screen, the determined first virtual arc surface is shown in Figure 32 and will not be described here in detail.

[0257] Taking the scenario shown in Figures 33A to 33C, the remote control device is located directly in front of a non-center position of the smart TV screen, and the pointing direction of the remote control device is perpendicular to the smart TV screen as an example, in this scenario, the first reference line and the second reference line do not coincide with each other. As shown in Figure 33A, the remote control device determines a first reference position on the second reference line that is a first preset distance away from the position of the remote control device. The remote control device determines a second virtual arc surface based on the first reference position, wherein the center position of the second virtual arc surface coincides with the first reference position, and the tangent at the center position of the second virtual arc surface is perpendicular to the second reference line.

[0258] As shown in Figure 33B, the remote control device determines a second reference position on the first reference line that is a first preset distance away from the position of the remote control device. As shown in Figure 33C, the second virtual arc surface is adjusted according to the first reference position and the second reference position to obtain the first virtual arc surface.

[0259] In the embodiment of the present application, the first offset distance includes a first horizontal offset distance and a first vertical offset distance.

[0260] Determining the first horizontal offset distance and the first vertical offset distance based on the first horizontal deflection angle and the first vertical deflection angle may include the following three possible implementations:

[0261] In a first possible implementation, the product of the radius of the first virtual arc surface and the first horizontal deflection angle is used as the second horizontal offset distance, and the product of the first horizontal adjustment ratio and the second horizontal offset distance is used as the first horizontal offset distance; the product of the radius of the first virtual arc surface and the first vertical deflection angle is used as the second vertical offset distance, and the product of the first vertical adjustment ratio and the second vertical offset distance is used as the first vertical offset distance. It should be understood that the first horizontal adjustment ratio and the first vertical adjustment ratio are preset values, and the first horizontal adjustment ratio and the first vertical adjustment ratio can be the same or different. The first horizontal adjustment ratio and the first vertical adjustment ratio can be set to a decimal between 0 and 1, or can be set to a number greater than 1.

[0262] The first horizontal offset distance is shown in formula (3): Δd_horizontal=k1_horizontal*R*Δα_horizontal (3)

[0263] Wherein, Δd_horizontal represents the first horizontal offset distance, k1_horizontal represents the first horizontal adjustment ratio, R represents the radius length of the first virtual arc surface, and Δα_horizontal represents the first horizontal deflection angle.

[0264] The first vertical offset distance is shown in formula (4): Δd_vertical=k1_vertical*R*Δα_vertical (4)

[0265] Wherein, Δd_vertical represents the first vertical offset distance, k1_vertical represents the first vertical adjustment ratio, R represents the radius length of the first virtual arc surface, and Δα_vertical represents the first vertical deflection angle.

[0266] In the above possible implementation, the product of the radius of the first virtual arc surface and the first horizontal deflection angle is the horizontal arc length corresponding to the first horizontal deflection angle. The product of the horizontal arc length corresponding to the first horizontal deflection angle and the first horizontal adjustment ratio can be used as the first horizontal offset distance. The product of the radius of the first virtual arc surface and the first vertical deflection angle is the vertical arc length corresponding to the first vertical deflection angle. The product of the vertical arc length corresponding to the first vertical deflection angle and the first vertical adjustment ratio can be used as the first vertical offset distance.

[0267] In a second possible implementation, the product of the radius length of the first virtual arc surface and the first horizontal deflection angle is used as the first horizontal offset distance; the product of the radius length of the first virtual arc surface and the first vertical deflection angle is used as the first vertical offset distance.

[0268] The first horizontal offset distance is shown in formula (5): Δd_horizontal=R*Δα_horizontal (5)

[0269] Wherein, Δd_horizontal represents the first horizontal offset distance, R represents the radius length of the first virtual arc surface, and Δα_horizontal represents the first horizontal deflection angle.

[0270] The first vertical offset distance is shown in formula (6): Δd_vertical=R*Δα_vertical (6)

[0271] Wherein, Δd_vertical represents the first vertical offset distance, R represents the radius length of the first virtual arc surface, and Δα_vertical represents the first vertical deflection angle.

[0272] In the above possible implementation, the product of the radius of the first virtual arc surface and the first horizontal deflection angle is the horizontal arc length corresponding to the first horizontal deflection angle, and the horizontal arc length corresponding to the first horizontal deflection angle can be directly used as the first horizontal offset distance. The product of the radius of the first virtual arc surface and the first vertical deflection angle is the vertical arc length corresponding to the first vertical deflection angle, and the vertical arc length corresponding to the first vertical deflection angle can be directly used as the first vertical offset distance.

[0273] In a third possible implementation, the product of the first preset value and the first horizontal deflection angle is used as the first horizontal offset distance, and the product of the second preset value and the first vertical deflection angle is used as the first vertical offset distance. The first preset value and the second preset value may be the same or different.

[0274] The first horizontal offset distance is shown in formula (7): Δd_horizontal=K1*Δα_horizontal (7)

[0275] Wherein, Δd_horizontal represents a first horizontal offset distance, K1 represents a first preset value, and Δα_horizontal represents a first horizontal deflection angle.

[0276] The first vertical offset distance is shown in formula (8): Δd_vertical=K2*Δα_vertical (8)

[0277] Wherein, Δd_vertical represents the first vertical offset distance, K2 represents the second preset value, and Δα_vertical represents the first vertical deflection angle.

[0278] It should be understood that the first preset value and the second preset value may be the same or different. The first preset value and the second preset value may be set to decimals between 0 and 1, or may be set to numbers greater than 1.

[0279] In an embodiment of the present application, after determining the first horizontal offset distance and the first vertical offset distance, the cursor position can be determined using the following method: first, based on the center position of the screen device and the first horizontal offset distance, a first coordinate value of the cursor position in the x-axis direction is determined. Then, based on the center position of the screen device and the first vertical offset distance, a second coordinate value of the cursor position in the z-axis direction is determined. The first coordinate value and the second coordinate value constitute the coordinates of the cursor position. Based on the coordinates of the cursor position, the cursor position corresponding to the remote control device on the screen device can be determined, and the cursor can be displayed at the coordinates of the cursor position.

[0280] Generally speaking, the sum of the center position of the screen device and the first horizontal offset distance is used as the first coordinate value of the cursor position in the x-axis direction; the sum of the center position of the screen device and the first vertical offset distance is used as the second coordinate value of the cursor position in the z-axis direction.

[0281] The following examples are all based on the screen device being a smart TV screen.

[0282] For example, as shown in the top view of Figure 34A and the left view of Figure 34B, the remote control device is located directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, the pointing direction of the remote control device is perpendicular to the smart TV screen, and the cursor corresponding to the remote control device is displayed at point A on the smart TV screen, where point A is the center of the smart TV screen.

[0283] The user deflects the remote control device, wherein a first horizontal deflection angle of the remote control device is a1, a first vertical deflection angle of the remote control device is b1, and a radius length of the virtual arc surface is R.

[0284] As shown in the top view of Figure 34C, the product of the radius length R of the virtual arc surface and the first horizontal deflection angle a1 is the horizontal arc length between points BC. The product of the horizontal arc length between points BC and the first horizontal adjustment ratio is used as the first horizontal offset distance. The first coordinate value of the cursor position in the x-axis direction (i.e., the coordinate value of point D in the x-axis direction) can be determined based on the center position of the smart TV screen (i.e., the coordinate value of point A in the x-axis direction) and the first horizontal offset distance.

[0285] As shown in the left view of Figure 34D, the product of the radius length R of the virtual arc surface and the first vertical deflection angle b1 is the vertical arc length between points BC. The product of the vertical arc length between points BC and the first vertical adjustment ratio is used as the first vertical offset distance. The second coordinate value of the cursor position in the z-axis direction (i.e., the coordinate value of point D in the z-axis direction) can be determined based on the center position of the smart TV screen (the coordinate value of point A in the z-axis direction) and the first vertical offset distance.

[0286] Finally, the first coordinate value and the second coordinate value constitute the coordinates of the cursor position. According to the coordinates of the cursor position, the cursor position (i.e., point D) of the cursor corresponding to the remote control device on the smart TV screen is determined, and the cursor is displayed at the coordinates of the cursor position.

[0287] In the above embodiment, when the distance between the remote control device and the screen device is different or the pointing direction of the remote control device is different, the distance the cursor moves on the screen device remains the same when the remote control device is deflected by the same angle. The user can accurately control the movement accuracy of the cursor, thereby improving the user experience.

[0288] In the case where the pointing direction of the remote control device deflects multiple times, the cursor position can be determined by two possible implementations. The following uses the Nth deflection of the pointing direction of the remote control device as an example, where N is greater than 1, for explanation. Determining the cursor position of the cursor corresponding to the remote control device on the screen device when the pointing direction of the remote control device deflects the Nth time can include the following two possible implementations:

[0289] In a first possible implementation, the cursor position may be determined using the steps shown in FIG5 , which will not be described in detail here.

[0290] In a second possible implementation, when the pointing direction of the remote control device undergoes an N-1th deflection, the remote control device determines a cursor position corresponding to the N-1th deflection, and determines a relative offset distance between the pointing direction of the remote control device at the Nth deflection and the pointing direction of the remote control device at the N-1th deflection. The remote control device determines the cursor position corresponding to the Nth deflection based on the cursor position corresponding to the N-1th deflection and the relative offset distance of the remote control device at the Nth deflection.

[0291] In one possible implementation, the relative offset distance includes a relative horizontal offset distance and a relative vertical offset distance. The remote control device first determines a seventh coordinate value of the cursor position in the x-axis direction based on the cursor position corresponding to the N-1th deflection and the relative horizontal offset distance. Then, based on the cursor position corresponding to the N-1th deflection and the relative vertical offset distance, the remote control device determines an eighth coordinate value of the cursor position in the z-axis direction. The seventh and eighth coordinate values constitute the coordinates of the cursor position corresponding to the Nth deflection. Based on the coordinates of the cursor position corresponding to the Nth deflection, the cursor position corresponding to the Nth deflection of the remote control device on the screen device can be determined, and the cursor can be displayed at the coordinates of the cursor position.

[0292] In order to improve the accuracy of the determined cursor position, an embodiment of the present application also provides a cursor position determination method, wherein the remote control device detects a third operation on the touchpad of the remote control device, and the remote control device adjusts the radius length of the first virtual arc surface from the first length to the second length in response to the third operation, wherein the second length is smaller than the first length.

[0293] When the user performs the third operation on the touchpad of the remote control device, the radius length of the first virtual arc surface is the second length. When the user does not perform the third operation on the touchpad of the remote control device, the radius length of the first virtual arc surface returns to the first length. In the embodiment of the present application, the third operation can be understood as the touchpad of the remote control device being pressed, etc., which is not limited here. In the case where the third operation is the touchpad of the remote control device being pressed, when the user presses the touchpad of the remote control device, the radius length of the first virtual arc surface is the second length. When the user does not press the touchpad of the remote control device, the radius length of the first virtual arc surface returns to the first length.

[0294] In one possible embodiment, the remote control device receives a second operation, wherein the second operation includes the first operation and a third operation on the touchpad of the remote control device, wherein the first operation includes an operation of deflecting the pointing direction of the remote control device. When the pointing direction of the remote control device is deflected, the remote control device determines a first deflection angle of the pointing direction of the remote control device relative to a first reference line, wherein the first reference line is a line connecting the position of the remote control device and the center position of the screen device. The remote control device determines a first offset distance based on the first deflection angle and a first virtual arc surface, wherein the remote control device is located within the arc of the first virtual arc surface, the screen device is located outside the arc of the first virtual arc surface, the center position of the first virtual arc surface is located on the first reference line, the tangent at the center position of the first virtual arc surface is perpendicular to the first reference line, and the radius length of the first virtual arc surface is a second length. The remote control device determines the cursor position of the cursor corresponding to the remote control device in the screen device based on the center position of the screen device and the first offset distance.

[0295] For ease of understanding, the following description assumes that the third operation is pressing the touch panel of the remote control device.

[0296] When a user presses the touchpad of the remote control device, the radius of the first virtual arc surface is the second length, and the user can deflect the remote control device, causing the pointing direction of the remote control device to deflect. The deflection of the pointing direction of the remote control device includes horizontal deflection and / or vertical deflection. The first deflection angle of the pointing direction of the remote control device relative to the first reference line includes a first horizontal deflection angle and / or a first vertical deflection angle.

[0297] When the radius of the first virtual curved surface is a first length, the user deflects the remote control device to determine a first horizontal offset distance corresponding to the first horizontal deflection angle and a first vertical offset distance corresponding to the first vertical deflection angle. The first horizontal offset distance is determined based on the product of the radius of the first virtual curved surface (the first length) and the first horizontal deflection angle, and the first vertical offset distance is determined based on the product of the radius of the first virtual curved surface (the first length) and the first vertical deflection angle.

[0298] When the radius of the first virtual curved surface is the second length, the user deflects the remote control device by the same angle to determine a fifth horizontal offset distance corresponding to the first horizontal deflection angle and a fifth vertical offset distance corresponding to the first vertical deflection angle. The fifth horizontal offset distance is determined based on the product of the radius of the first virtual curved surface (the second length) and the first horizontal deflection angle, and the fifth vertical offset distance is determined based on the product of the radius of the first virtual curved surface (the second length) and the first vertical deflection angle.

[0299] Based on the above process, it can be seen that since the second length is smaller than the first length, the fifth horizontal offset distance is smaller than or equal to the first horizontal offset distance, and the fifth vertical offset distance is smaller than or equal to the first vertical offset distance.

[0300] The following examples are all based on the screen device being a smart TV screen.

[0301] For example, as shown in the top view of Figure 34A and the left view of Figure 34B, the remote control device is located directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, the pointing direction of the remote control device is perpendicular to the smart TV screen, and the cursor corresponding to the remote control device is displayed at point A on the smart TV screen, where point A is the center of the smart TV screen.

[0302] When the user does not press the touchpad on the remote control device and the radius of the virtual arc is R1, the user deflects the remote control device, where the first horizontal deflection angle of the remote control device is a1 and the first vertical deflection angle of the remote control device is b1. As shown in the top view of Figure 35A, the product of the radius of the first virtual arc R1 and the first horizontal deflection angle a1 is the horizontal arc length between points BC. The product of the horizontal arc length between points BC and the first horizontal adjustment ratio is used as the first horizontal offset distance. Based on the center position of the smart TV screen (i.e., the x-axis coordinate value of point A) and the first horizontal offset distance, the first x-axis coordinate value of the cursor position (i.e., the x-axis coordinate value of point D) can be determined. As shown in the left view of Figure 35B , the product of the radius R1 of the first virtual arc surface and the first vertical deflection angle b1 is the vertical arc length between points BC. The product of the vertical arc length between points BC and the first vertical adjustment ratio is used as the first vertical offset distance. Based on the center position of the smart TV screen (i.e., the z-axis coordinate value of point A) and the first vertical offset distance, the second z-axis coordinate value of the cursor position (i.e., the z-axis coordinate value of point D) can be determined. Finally, the first and second coordinate values form the coordinates of the cursor position. Based on the coordinates of the cursor position, the cursor position corresponding to the remote control device on the smart TV screen (i.e., point D) is determined, and the cursor is displayed at the coordinates of the cursor position.

[0303] When a user presses the touchpad on the remote control device and the radius of the virtual arc is R2, where R2 is less than R1, the user deflects the remote control device, where the first horizontal deflection angle of the remote control device is a1, and the first vertical deflection angle of the remote control device is b1. As shown in the top view of Figure 35A, the product of the radius of the first virtual arc R2 and the first horizontal deflection angle a1 is the horizontal arc length between points E and F. The product of the horizontal arc length between points E and F and the first horizontal adjustment ratio is used as the fifth horizontal offset distance. The first x-axis coordinate value of the cursor position (i.e., the x-axis coordinate value of point G) can be determined based on the center position of the smart TV screen (i.e., the x-axis coordinate value of point A) and the fifth horizontal offset distance. As shown in the left view of Figure 35B , the product of the radius R2 of the first virtual arc surface and the first vertical deflection angle b1 is the vertical arc length between points EF. The product of the vertical arc length between points EF and the first vertical adjustment ratio is used as the first vertical offset distance. Based on the center position of the smart TV screen (i.e., the z-axis coordinate value of point A) and the first vertical offset distance, the second z-axis coordinate value of the cursor position (i.e., the z-axis coordinate value of point G) can be determined. Finally, the first and second coordinate values form the coordinates of the cursor position. Based on the coordinates of the cursor position, the cursor position corresponding to the remote control device on the smart TV screen (i.e., point G) is determined, and the cursor is displayed at the coordinates of the cursor position.

[0304] In the above embodiment, when the radius of the first virtual arc surface is reduced, the remote control device is deflected by the same angle, which can reduce the movement speed of the cursor and improve the accuracy of the determined cursor position.

[0305] In order to improve the accuracy of the determined cursor position, an embodiment of the present application further provides a method for determining the cursor position, which may include the following steps as shown in FIG36:

[0306] S3601, when the remote control device receives the fourth operation, the remote control device determines a first deflection angle of the pointing direction of the remote control device relative to the first reference line, wherein the fourth operation includes an operation of deflecting the pointing direction of the remote control device and a fifth operation of the touchpad of the remote control device, and the first reference line is a line connecting the position of the remote control device and the center position of the screen device.

[0307] In the embodiment of the present application, the fifth operation can be understood as the touch panel of the remote control device being pressed, etc., which is not limited here. For ease of understanding, the following description is based on the fifth operation being the touch panel of the remote control device being pressed.

[0308] The method for determining the first deflection angle in the above step is similar to the method for determining the first deflection angle in S501 and is not described in detail here.

[0309] When the touchpad of the remote control device is pressed, the radius of the virtual arc surface remains unchanged, that is, the radius of the first virtual arc surface is the first length. When the touchpad of the remote control device is pressed, if the pointing direction of the remote control device deflects, the deflection of the pointing direction of the remote control device includes horizontal deflection and / or vertical deflection. The first deflection angle of the pointing direction of the remote control device relative to the first reference line includes a first horizontal deflection angle and / or a first vertical deflection angle.

[0310] S3602: The remote control device determines a third horizontal offset distance based on the first horizontal deflection angle and the second horizontal adjustment ratio; and determines a third vertical offset distance based on the first vertical deflection angle and the second vertical adjustment ratio.

[0311] In the embodiment of the present application, the product of the first horizontal deflection angle and the second horizontal adjustment ratio is used as the third horizontal offset distance, and the product of the first vertical deflection angle and the second vertical adjustment ratio is used as the third vertical offset distance.

[0312] For ease of understanding, the third horizontal offset distance can be understood as the product of the first horizontal deflection angle, the second horizontal adjustment ratio, and the radius length 1. Similarly, the third vertical offset distance can be understood as the product of the first vertical deflection angle, the second vertical adjustment ratio, and the radius length 1.

[0313] In the embodiment of the present application, the first horizontal deflection angle and the first vertical deflection angle determined by the above implementation are both in degrees.

[0314] It should be understood that the second horizontal adjustment ratio and the second vertical adjustment ratio are preset values, and the second horizontal adjustment ratio and the second vertical adjustment ratio can be the same or different. The second horizontal adjustment ratio and the second vertical adjustment ratio can be set to a decimal between 0 and 1, or a number greater than 1.

[0315] Based on the above process, it can be seen that the third horizontal offset distance and the third vertical offset distance are both independent of the radius length of the first virtual arc surface.

[0316] S3603: The remote control device determines a cursor position of a cursor corresponding to the remote control device on the screen device based on the center position of the screen device, the third horizontal offset distance, and the third vertical offset distance.

[0317] In an embodiment of the present application, after determining the third horizontal offset distance and the third vertical offset distance, the cursor position can be determined using the following method: first, based on the center position of the screen device and the third horizontal offset distance, a third coordinate value of the cursor position in the x-axis direction is determined. Then, based on the center position of the screen device and the third vertical offset distance, a fourth coordinate value of the cursor position in the z-axis direction is determined. The third and fourth coordinate values constitute the coordinates of the cursor position. Based on the coordinates of the cursor position, the cursor position corresponding to the remote control device on the screen device can be determined, and the cursor can be displayed at the coordinates of the cursor position.

[0318] The following examples are all based on the screen device being a smart TV screen.

[0319] For example, as shown in the top view of Figure 34A and the left view of Figure 34B, the remote control device is located directly in front of the center of the smart TV screen, the pointing direction of the remote control device is perpendicular to the smart TV screen, and the cursor corresponding to the remote control device is displayed at point A on the smart TV screen, where point A is the center of the smart TV screen.

[0320] When a user presses the touchpad on the remote control device, the user deflects the remote control device, where the first horizontal deflection angle of the remote control device is a1, and the first vertical deflection angle of the remote control device is b1. As shown in the top view of Figure 37A, the product of the first horizontal deflection angle a1 and the second horizontal adjustment ratio is used as the third horizontal offset distance. Based on the center position of the smart TV screen (i.e., the x-axis coordinate value of point A) and the third horizontal offset distance, the third x-axis coordinate value of the cursor position (i.e., the x-axis coordinate value of point H) is determined. As shown in the left view of Figure 37B, the product of the first vertical deflection angle b1 and the second vertical adjustment ratio is used as the third vertical offset distance. Based on the center position of the smart TV screen (i.e., the z-axis coordinate value of point A) and the third vertical offset distance, the fourth z-axis coordinate value of the cursor position (i.e., the z-axis coordinate value of point H) is determined. Finally, the third and fourth coordinate values form the coordinates of the cursor position. Based on the coordinates of the cursor position, the cursor position corresponding to the remote control device on the smart TV screen (i.e., point H) is determined, and the cursor is displayed at the coordinates of the cursor position.

[0321] In the above embodiment, the cursor position changes with the first horizontal deflection angle and the first vertical deflection angle and is not affected by the radius of the first virtual arc surface, thereby providing a convenient method for determining the cursor position.

[0322] In order to improve the accuracy of the cursor position, the embodiment of the present application further provides a method for determining the cursor position, which may include the following steps as shown in FIG38:

[0323] S3801: When the remote control device receives a sixth operation on the touchpad, the remote control device determines a horizontal movement distance and a vertical movement distance of the remote control device, wherein the sixth operation includes an operation of moving the remote control device and a seventh operation on the touchpad of the remote control device.

[0324] In the embodiment of the present application, the seventh operation can be understood as the touch panel of the remote control device being pressed, etc., which is not limited here. For ease of understanding, the following description is based on the seventh operation being the touch panel of the remote control device being pressed.

[0325] When the touch panel of the remote control device is pressed, the radius length of the virtual arc surface remains unchanged, that is, the radius length of the first virtual arc surface is the first length.

[0326] S3802: The remote control device determines a fourth horizontal offset distance based on the horizontal movement distance and the third horizontal adjustment ratio; and determines a fourth vertical offset distance based on the vertical movement distance and the third vertical adjustment ratio.

[0327] In the embodiment of the present application, the product of the horizontal movement distance and the third horizontal adjustment ratio is used as the fourth horizontal offset distance, and the product of the vertical movement distance and the third vertical adjustment ratio is used as the fourth vertical offset distance.

[0328] It should be understood that the third horizontal adjustment ratio and the third vertical adjustment ratio are preset values, and the third horizontal adjustment ratio and the third vertical adjustment ratio can be the same or different. The third horizontal adjustment ratio and the third vertical adjustment ratio can be set to a decimal between 0 and 1, or a number greater than 1.

[0329] Based on the above process, it can be seen that the fourth horizontal offset distance and the fourth vertical offset distance are both independent of the radius length of the first virtual arc surface.

[0330] S3803: The remote control device determines a cursor position of a cursor corresponding to the remote control device on the screen device based on the center position of the screen device, the fourth horizontal offset distance, and the fourth vertical offset distance.

[0331] In an embodiment of the present application, after determining the fourth horizontal offset distance and the fourth vertical offset distance, the cursor position can be determined using the following method: first, based on the center position of the screen device and the fourth horizontal offset distance, a fifth coordinate value of the cursor position in the x-axis direction is determined. Then, based on the center position of the screen device and the fourth vertical offset distance, a sixth coordinate value of the cursor position in the z-axis direction is determined. The fifth and sixth coordinate values constitute the coordinates of the cursor position. Based on the coordinates of the cursor position, the cursor position corresponding to the remote control device on the screen device can be determined, and the cursor can be displayed at the coordinates of the cursor position.

[0332] The following examples are all based on the screen device being a smart TV screen.

[0333] For example, as shown in the top view of Figure 34A and the left view of Figure 34B, the remote control device is located directly in front of the center of the screen, the pointing direction of the remote control device is perpendicular to the smart TV screen, and the cursor corresponding to the remote control device is displayed at point A on the smart TV screen, where point A is the center of the smart TV screen.

[0334] When a user presses the touchpad on the remote control device, the user moves the remote control device, where the horizontal movement distance of the remote control device is x1 and the vertical movement distance of the remote control device is z1. As shown in the top view of Figure 39A, the product of the horizontal movement distance x1 and the second horizontal adjustment ratio is used as the fourth horizontal offset distance. Based on the center position of the smart TV screen (i.e., the x-axis coordinate value of point A) and the fourth horizontal offset distance, the fifth x-axis coordinate value of the cursor position (i.e., the x-axis coordinate value of point K) is determined. As shown in the left view of Figure 39B, the product of the vertical movement distance z1 and the second vertical adjustment ratio is used as the fourth vertical offset distance. Based on the center position of the smart TV screen (i.e., the z-axis coordinate value of point A) and the fourth vertical offset distance, the sixth z-axis coordinate value of the cursor position (i.e., the z-axis coordinate value of point K) is determined. Finally, the fifth and sixth coordinate values form the coordinates of the cursor position. Based on the coordinates of the cursor position, the cursor position corresponding to the remote control device on the smart TV screen (i.e., point K) is determined, and the cursor is displayed at the coordinates of the cursor position.

[0335] In the above embodiment, the cursor position changes with the horizontal movement distance and the vertical movement distance, and is not affected by the radius of the first virtual arc surface, thereby providing a convenient method for determining the cursor position.
