Abstract
Description
Laminated glass, display system and vehicle
[0001] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the China Patent Office on July 26, 2023, with application number 202310925638.5 and application name “Laminated glass, display system and vehicle”. The contents of the above-mentioned prior application are incorporated into this application by reference. Technical Field
[0002] The present application relates to the field of vehicle technology, and in particular to a laminated glass, a display system and a vehicle. Background Art
[0003] In recent years, head-up display (HUD) systems have been widely used in vehicles to reduce the need for drivers to look down at instrument panel information, thereby improving driving safety. A vehicle's HUD consists of a front windshield and a projection assembly. When the projection assembly projects light onto the front windshield, the driver can see the projected information. In related art, laminated glass comprises four layers of equal thickness: an outer glass sheet, an inner glass sheet, an adhesive layer, and an infrared reflective film. The adhesive layer and infrared reflective film are both positioned between the outer and inner glass sheets. The adhesive layer serves to bond the two sheets together, while the infrared reflective film can be used to provide functions such as heating. However, when the projection assembly projects light onto the laminated glass, the driver sees not only a primary image containing the projected information, but also two virtual images, a first ghost image and a second ghost image. These two images are blurred and do not overlap with the primary image, affecting the driver's field of view and driving experience.
[0004] Summary of the Invention
[0005] The present application provides a laminated glass, a display system, and a vehicle that can reduce the impact on the driver's field of view and improve the driving experience.
[0006] In a first aspect, the present application provides a laminated glass capable of forming a main image according to projection light emitted by a projection assembly, the laminated glass comprising:
[0007] an outer glass plate, the outer glass plate having a first surface and a second surface that are opposite to each other;
[0008] an inner glass plate, the inner glass plate having a third surface and a fourth surface that are separated from each other, the third surface being arranged opposite to the second surface;
[0009] an adhesive layer disposed between the outer glass plate and the inner glass plate to bond the outer glass plate and the inner glass plate together, the adhesive layer comprising a fifth surface and a sixth surface disposed opposite to each other, wherein the fifth surface is disposed opposite to the second surface, the sixth surface is disposed opposite to the third surface, and the fifth surface and the sixth surface are inclined relative to each other so that the adhesive layer has a wedge shape; and
[0010] an infrared reflective film, the infrared reflective film being disposed between the second surface and the fifth surface;
[0011] The thickness of the outer glass plate is smaller than the thickness of the inner glass plate;
[0012] The preset wedge angle αS formed by the fifth surface and the sixth surface of the adhesive layer satisfies the following conditions:
[0013] α1≤αS≤α2;
[0014] When the projection light emitted by the projection assembly illuminates the fourth surface, the projection light is reflected by the fourth surface to produce a primary image. The projection light passes through the inner glass plate and the adhesive layer, then reaches the infrared reflective film and is reflected by the infrared reflective film to produce a first secondary image. The projection light passes through the infrared reflective film, then reaches the first surface of the outer glass plate and is reflected by the first surface to produce a second secondary image.
[0015] Wherein, α1 is a first theoretical wedge angle, which is the wedge angle required to be formed by the fifth surface and the sixth surface when the first secondary image and the primary image completely overlap; α2 is a second theoretical wedge angle, which is the wedge angle required to be formed by the fifth surface and the sixth surface when the second secondary image and the primary image completely overlap.
[0016] The preset wedge angle αS formed by the fifth surface and the sixth surface of the adhesive layer satisfies the following conditions:
[0017] When A1≥A2, α2-αS≥αS-α1;
[0018] When A1<A2, α2-αS<αS-α1;
[0019] Wherein, A1 is the brightness ratio of the first secondary image, A1=S1 / S, A2 is the brightness ratio of the second secondary image, A2=S2 / S, S1 is the brightness of the first secondary image, S2 is the brightness of the second secondary image, and S is the brightness of the primary image.
[0020] Wherein, the laminated glass meets the following conditions:
[0021] α2-αS≤0.10mrad, αS-α1≤0.14mrad.
[0022] Wherein, the laminated glass meets the following conditions:
[0023] A1≤20% and / or A2≤20%;
[0024] Wherein, A1 is the brightness ratio of the first secondary image, A1=S1 / S, A2 is the brightness ratio of the second secondary image, A2=S2 / S, S1 is the brightness of the first secondary image, S2 is the brightness of the second secondary image, and S is the brightness of the primary image.
[0025] The preset wedge angle αS formed by the fifth surface and the sixth surface is in a range of 0.1 mrad to 1.0 mrad.
[0026] Wherein, the thickness H1 of the outer glass plate is 0.5 mm to 1.8 mm.
[0027] Wherein, when the outer glass plate is physically strengthened glass, the thickness of the outer glass plate is 1.2 mm to 1.8 mm;
[0028] When the outer glass plate is chemically strengthened glass, the thickness of the outer glass plate is 0.5 mm to 1.2 mm.
[0029] Wherein, the thickness of the adhesive layer is 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm.
[0030] The material of the adhesive layer is at least one of polycarbonate (PC), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyvinyl butyral (PVB), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), polyacrylate (PA), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polyurethane (PUR), and ionotropic polymer film (SGP).
[0031] The infrared reflective film includes at least one metal layer, wherein the metal layer is at least one of gold (Au), silver (Ag), copper (Cu), aluminum (Al), molybdenum (Mo) or a metal alloy, and the metal alloy is composed of silver and at least one of Cu, Au, Pd, Sn, Zn, Pb, and Ni.
[0032] The adhesive layer is made of modified EVA, the vinyl acetate content of which is 5% to 40%. The laminated glass formed by two 3mm thick glass plates and a 0.8mm thick modified EVA has a sound transmission loss of at least 42dB in the sound frequency range of 1600Hz to 3250Hz.
[0033] In a second aspect, the present application further provides a display system, which includes a projection assembly and laminated glass, wherein the projection assembly is configured to emit projection light toward the laminated glass.
[0034] In a third aspect, the present application further provides a vehicle, comprising a vehicle frame and a display system, wherein the display system is carried by the vehicle frame.
[0035] In the laminated glass provided herein, the fifth and sixth surfaces of the adhesive layer are arranged to be relatively inclined, resulting in a wedge-shaped structure. It is understood that changing the relative inclination angle of the fifth and sixth surfaces will also change the path of light traveling through the adhesive layer. The primary image is produced by the first light directly reflecting off the fourth surface, so its position is not affected by the wedge-shaped structure. The first secondary image is produced by the second light reflecting off the infrared reflective film, which is positioned between the outer glass pane and the adhesive layer. Therefore, the second light will pass through the adhesive layer as it enters the fourth surface and then exits the fourth surface, affecting its path. The second secondary image is produced by the third light reflecting off the first surface. The third light will pass through the adhesive layer as it enters the fourth surface and then exits the fourth surface, affecting its path. In summary, changing the relative inclination angle of the fifth and sixth surfaces will alter the propagation paths of the second and third light rays, thereby changing the positions of the first and second secondary images. Therefore, during the design phase, the relative inclination angle of the fifth and sixth surfaces can be set based on the position of the primary image, placing the first and second secondary images as close to the primary image as possible. Therefore, compared to the related art approach of providing a uniform adhesive layer thickness throughout, the present application's wedge-shaped adhesive layer deflects the second and third light rays, bringing the first and second secondary images closer to the primary image. It can be understood that the closer the first and second secondary images are to the primary image, the greater their overlap with the primary image, thereby reducing the impact of the first and second secondary images on the driver's field of view and improving the driving experience. Furthermore, the thickness of the outer glass panel is smaller than that of the inner glass panel. This arrangement reduces the distance between the primary and second secondary images, making the primary image appear clearer. In addition, since the laminated glass satisfies: α1≤αS≤α2, the first secondary image and the second secondary image can be as close to the main image as possible, so that the main image seen by the human eye is clearer. [0051] The following will be combined with the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of this application to clearly and completely describe the technical solutions in the embodiments of this application. Obviously, the embodiments described are only part of the embodiments of this application, not all of the embodiments. Based on the embodiments in this application, all other embodiments obtained by ordinary technicians in this field without creative work are within the scope of protection of this application.
[0052] References herein to "embodiments" or "implementations" mean that a particular feature, structure, or characteristic described in connection with the embodiments or implementations may be included in at least one embodiment of the present application. The appearance of such phrases in various places in the specification does not necessarily refer to the same embodiment, nor do they constitute independent or alternative embodiments that are mutually exclusive of other embodiments. It is understood, both explicitly and implicitly, by those skilled in the art that the embodiments described herein may be combined with other embodiments.
[0053] Referring to FIG1 , the present application provides a vehicle 1 , which may be, but is not limited to, a sedan, a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), a sport / suburban utility vehicle (SUV), an off-road vehicle (ORV), a pickup truck, a van, a bus, a truck, etc.
[0054] The vehicle 1 includes a frame 20 and a display system 10, with the display system 10 being directly or indirectly supported by the frame 20. The frame 20 is a framework used to support and connect the various assemblies of the vehicle 1, maintaining their relative position and bearing various loads inside and outside the vehicle 1. The display system 10 may also be referred to as a head-up display (HUD).
[0055] Referring to FIG. 2 , the present application also provides a display system 10 comprising a projection assembly 120 and laminated glass 110 . The laminated glass 110 is a light-transmissive windshield. The projection assembly 120 is configured to emit projection light G toward the laminated glass 110 , where it reflects off the laminated glass 110 to form a projected image visible to the naked eye of the vehicle occupants. Specifically, the projection assembly 120 is configured to generate projection light G. Optionally, the projection light G comprises 20% to 90% S-polarized light. The laminated glass 110 is configured to reflect the projection light G into the eye box (EB) so that the driver can see projected information such as vehicle speed and navigation. It should be noted that because the laminated glass 110 is transparent, the projection light G emitted by the projection assembly 120 forms a virtual image containing the projected information. The virtual image is not formed on the laminated glass 110 but rather approximately in front of the vehicle 1's bumper, above the front end of the hood.
[0056] Referring to Figure 3 , in related art, laminated glass 110' includes an outer glass panel 111', an inner glass panel 115', an adhesive layer 114', and an infrared reflective film 113'. Both the adhesive layer 114' and the infrared reflective film 113' are disposed between the outer and inner glass panels 111', 115'. The adhesive layer 114' is used to bond the outer and inner glass panels 111', 115'. The cross-section of the adhesive layer 114' is rectangular, meaning that the wedge angle of the adhesive layer 114' is substantially zero. The infrared reflective film 113' can be used to provide heating, heat insulation, and other functions. However, when the projection assembly 120 emits projection light G toward the laminated glass 110', the driver sees, in addition to a main image X' containing projection information, two virtual images, a first secondary image Y1' and a second secondary image Y2'. The first secondary image Y1' and the second secondary image Y2' are blurred and do not overlap with the main image X', thereby affecting the driver's field of vision and driving experience.
[0057] Based on this, the present application hopes to provide a solution that can solve but is not limited to the above-mentioned technical problems, the details of which will be explained in the subsequent embodiments.
[0058] 4 and 5 , the present application further provides a laminated glass 110, which is used to form a main image X according to the projection light G emitted by the projection assembly 120. The laminated glass 110 includes: an outer glass plate 111, an inner glass plate 115, an adhesive layer 114, and an infrared reflective film 113.
[0059] The outer glass plate 111 has a first surface M1 and a second surface M2 that are opposite to each other.
[0060] The inner glass plate 115 has a third surface M3 and a fourth surface M4 that are opposite to each other. The third surface M3 is disposed opposite to the second surface M2.
[0061] The adhesive layer 114 is disposed between the outer glass plate 111 and the inner glass plate 115 to bond the outer glass plate 111 and the inner glass plate 115 together. The adhesive layer 114 includes a fifth surface M5 and a sixth surface M6 disposed opposite each other. The fifth surface M5 is disposed opposite the second surface M2, and the sixth surface M6 is disposed opposite the third surface M3. The fifth surface M5 and the sixth surface M6 are inclined relative to each other, resulting in the adhesive layer 114 having a wedge shape. The so-called relative inclination means that the fifth surface M5 and the sixth surface M6 are not parallel to each other, thereby forming the adhesive layer 114 in a wedge shape.
[0062] The infrared reflective film 113 is disposed between the second surface M2 and the fifth surface M5 , that is, the infrared reflective film 113 is located between the outer glass plate 111 and the adhesive layer 114 .
[0063] The projection light G emitted by the projection assembly 120 will be reflected on the fourth surface M4, the surface of the infrared reflective film 113, and the first surface M1, respectively, thereby forming a main image and two secondary images. If the brightness of any secondary image is higher than that of the main image, it will be easily observed by the human eye, making the main image blurry and unclear, and may even cause dizziness to the observer due to long-term observation.
[0064] When the projection light G emitted by the projection assembly 120 is incident on the fourth surface M4, the projection light G is reflected by the fourth surface M4 to produce a primary image X. The projection light G entering the laminated glass 110 passes through the inner glass plate 115 and the adhesive layer 114, then reaches the infrared reflective film 113 and is reflected by the infrared reflective film 113 to produce a first secondary image Y1. Another portion of the projection light G passes through the infrared reflective film 113 and reaches the first surface M1 of the outer glass plate 111, where it is reflected by the first surface M1 to produce a second secondary image Y2.
[0065] Specifically, laminated glass 110 comprises a laminated structure comprising an outer glass panel 111, an infrared reflective film 113, an adhesive layer 114, and an inner glass panel 115 stacked in sequence. The outer glass panel 111 and the inner glass panel 115 can be made of materials such as soda-lime-silica glass, aluminosilicate glass, lithium-silica, or borosilicate glass. The adhesive layer 114 acts as a bond between the outer glass panel 111 and the inner glass panel 115, forming a solid, integrated laminated glass 110. The infrared reflective film 113 has specific functions, such as thermal insulation and heating, determined by the film system. Optionally, the infrared reflective film 113 includes a metal layer, which imparts these functions to the infrared reflective film 113.
[0066] The laminated glass 110 has a first side C1 and a second side C2 that are opposite to each other. The first side C1 is the side having a first surface M1, and the second side C2 is the side having a fourth surface M4. The first surface M1 faces the vehicle exterior, while the fourth surface M4 faces the vehicle interior. Therefore, from the perspective of the vehicle 1, the first side C1 can be understood as the exterior of the laminated glass 110, while the second side C2 is the interior of the laminated glass 110.
[0067] The projection assembly 120 is mounted inside the vehicle 1 and is configured to project a projection light G toward the interior of the laminated glass 110, specifically, toward the fourth surface M4. After the projection light G is emitted, three virtual images are generated, visible to the human eye region EB: a primary image X, a first secondary image Y1, and a second secondary image Y2. The primary image X, the first secondary image Y1, and the second secondary image Y2 are formed by reflections of the projection light G from different surfaces of the laminated glass 110. The first secondary image Y1 can also be referred to as a first double image, and the second secondary image Y2 can also be referred to as a second double image.
[0068] For the main image X: after the first light ray G1 in the projection light ray G reaches the fourth surface M4, it is reflected by the fourth surface M4 and changes its propagation direction and propagates toward the human eye area EB. The first light ray G1 after being reflected by the fourth surface M4 is further defined as the first eye-entering light ray R1. The first eye-entering light ray R1 finally enters the human eye area EB, and the main image X is located on the reverse extension line of the propagation direction of the first eye-entering light ray R1.
[0069] Regarding the first secondary image Y1, the second light ray G2 in the projection light beam G enters the laminated glass 110 and passes through the inner glass panel 115 and the adhesive layer 114 before reaching the infrared reflective film 113. The infrared reflective film 113 reflects a portion of the light. The second light ray G2 is reflected by the infrared reflective film 113, changing its direction of propagation and then propagating toward the location of the fourth surface M4. It is ultimately refracted and exits from the fourth surface M4. The second light ray G2 exiting the fourth surface M4 is further defined as the second incident light ray R2. The second incident light ray R2 ultimately enters the human eye region EB, and the first secondary image Y1 is located on the line extending in the opposite direction of the propagation direction of the second incident light ray R2.
[0070] Regarding the second secondary image Y2: the third light ray G3 in the projection light ray G enters the laminated glass 110 and sequentially passes through the inner glass plate 115, the adhesive layer 114, and the infrared reflective film 113 before reaching the inner side of the outer glass plate 111. The third light ray G3 is then reflected by the first surface M1, changing its propagation direction and propagating toward the location of the fourth surface M4. The third light ray G3 that has passed through the fourth surface M4 is further defined as a third incident light ray R3. The third incident light ray R3 finally enters the human eye region EB. The second secondary image Y2 is located on the line extending in the opposite direction of the propagation direction of the third incident light ray R3.
[0071] It should be noted that in FIG5 , the first secondary image Y1 is drawn below the primary image X, and the second secondary image Y2 is drawn above the primary image X. This is merely for ease of illustration and to better distinguish the lines corresponding to the various light rays. In actual practice, the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2 may be simultaneously located above or below the primary image X.
[0072] In the laminated glass 110 provided herein, the fifth and sixth surfaces M5, M6 of the adhesive layer 114 are arranged to be relatively inclined, resulting in the adhesive layer 114 exhibiting a wedge-shaped structure. It is understood that changing the relative inclination angle of the fifth and sixth surfaces M5, M6 will also alter the propagation path of light passing through the adhesive layer 114. The primary image X is produced by the first light ray G1 being directly reflected by the fourth surface M4, so the position of the primary image X is not affected by the wedge-shaped structure. The first secondary image Y1 is produced by the second light ray G2 being reflected by the infrared reflective film 113, which is positioned between the outer glass panel 111 and the adhesive layer 114. Therefore, the second light ray G2 will pass through the adhesive layer 114 as it enters and exits the adhesive layer 114, thus affecting the propagation path of the second light ray G2. As for the second secondary image Y2, it is produced by the third light ray G3 being reflected by the first surface M1. After the third light ray G3 enters the fourth surface M4 and then exits the fourth surface M4, it will pass through the adhesive layer 114. Therefore, the propagation path of the third light ray G3 will be affected by the wedge structure. In summary, if the relative inclination angle between the fifth surface M5 and the sixth surface M6 is changed, the propagation paths of the second light ray G2 and the third light ray G3 will also change, thereby changing the positions of the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2. Therefore, during the design stage, the relative inclination angle between the fifth surface M5 and the sixth surface M6 can be set according to the position of the primary image X, so that the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2 are as close to the primary image X as possible. Therefore, compared to the related art in which the adhesive layer 114 is provided in a rectangular shape, the present application provides the adhesive layer 114 in a wedge-shaped structure, which can deflect the second light G2 and the third light G3, thereby bringing the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2 closer to the primary image X. It can be understood that the closer the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2 are to the primary image X, the higher the degree of overlap between the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2 and the primary image X, thereby reducing the visual interference of the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2 on the driver's observation of the primary image, thereby improving the driving experience. It can even be made that the first secondary image Y1 or the second secondary image Y2 overlaps with the primary image X, thereby further increasing the brightness of the primary image X.
[0073] Optionally, the thickness of the outer glass plate 111 is smaller than the thickness of the inner glass plate 115. In this configuration, the distance between the primary image X and the secondary image Y2 is smaller, and the primary image X appears clearer.
[0074] When the outer glass plate 111 is physically strengthened glass, the thickness of the outer glass plate 111 is 1.2 mm to 1.8 mm, for example, 1.26 mm, 1.4 mm, 1.5 mm, 1.7 mm, etc. The physically strengthened glass may be subjected to a high-temperature bending process at a temperature of at least 500°C.
[0075] When the outer glass plate 111 is chemically tempered glass, the thickness of the outer glass plate 111 is 0.5 mm to 1.2 mm, for example, 0.6 mm, 0.88 mm, 0.95 mm, 1.0 mm, etc., preferably 0.7 to 1.1 mm. Furthermore, the glass plate 111 is preferably chemically tempered glass.
[0076] The thickness of the adhesive layer 114 is generally 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm, for example, 0.38 mm, 0.51 mm, 0.76 mm, etc., preferably 0.38 mm, 0.76 mm, and more preferably 0.76 mm.
[0077] The adhesive layer 114 is made of at least one of polycarbonate (PC), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyvinyl butyral (PVB), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), polyacrylate (PA), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polyurethane (PUR), and ionotropic polymer film (SGP), with polyvinyl butyral (PVB) being preferred.
[0078] The infrared reflective film 113 includes at least one metal layer, wherein the metal layer is at least one of gold (Au), silver (Ag), copper (Cu), aluminum (Al), molybdenum (Mo), or a metal alloy, wherein the metal alloy is composed of silver and at least one of Cu, Au, Pd, Sn, Zn, Pb, and Ni. Specifically, the infrared reflective film 113 may include one to four silver layers or silver alloy layers.
[0079] Referring to Figure 4 , ceramic ink or ultraviolet ink may be provided on the second surface M2 and / or the fourth surface M4 to form a shielding layer 112. The shielding layer 112 may be provided on the second surface M2, the fourth surface M4, or both. The shielding layer 112 may be provided along the periphery of the laminated glass 110. The shielding layer 112 is used to enhance the appearance, protect components within the vehicle, and improve local adhesion. The visible light transmittance of the shielding layer 112 is less than or equal to 1.5%, and the ultraviolet transmittance is less than or equal to 0.05%.
[0080] 4 , further, the preset wedge angle αS formed by the fifth surface M5 and the sixth surface M6 of the adhesive layer 114 (i.e., the preset wedge angle αS is the actual wedge angle of the adhesive layer 114 selected based on actual design and manufacturing difficulty) satisfies the following conditions:
[0081] α1≤αS≤α2;
[0082] Wherein, α1 is a first theoretical wedge angle, which is the wedge angle required to be formed by the fifth surface M5 and the sixth surface M6 when the first secondary image Y1 completely overlaps the primary image X. In other words, when αS equals α1, the first secondary image Y1 completely overlaps the primary image X, which is equivalent to eliminating the first secondary image Y1.
[0083] Wherein, α2 is a second theoretical wedge angle, which is the wedge angle required to be formed by the fifth surface M5 and the sixth surface M6 when the second secondary image Y2 completely overlaps the primary image X. In other words, when αS equals α2, the second secondary image Y2 completely overlaps the primary image X, which is equivalent to eliminating the second secondary image Y2.
[0084] It should be noted that the complete overlap between the first secondary image Y1 and the primary image X refers to the human eye region EB. Specifically, in one scenario, the first secondary image Y1 and the primary image X are located at the same position, and the human eye region EB appears to completely overlap. In another scenario, the first secondary image Y1 and the primary image X may be located at different positions, but the human eye region EB still appears to overlap, which also refers to the complete overlap between the first secondary image Y1 and the primary image X, as shown in Figure 6. Correspondingly, the complete overlap between the second secondary image Y2 and the primary image X is similar to the above, also referring to the human eye region EB, and will not be further described here.
[0085] It is understandable that when the first incident light ray R1 and the second incident light ray R2 are collinear, the first secondary image Y1 seen by the eye area EB completely overlaps with the primary image X. When the first incident light ray R1 and the third incident light ray R3 are collinear, the second secondary image Y2 seen by the eye area EB completely overlaps with the primary image X.
[0086] In this embodiment, to balance the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2, the preset wedge angle αS is set between the first theoretical wedge angle α1 and the second theoretical wedge angle α2, that is, α1≤αS≤α2. This allows both the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2 to be as close as possible to the primary image X. For example, the first theoretical wedge angle α1 corresponding to the first secondary image Y1 is 0.43 mrad, and the second theoretical wedge angle α2 corresponding to the second secondary image Y2 is 0.58 mrad. To balance the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2, the preset wedge angle αS can ultimately be selected to be 0.49 mrad.
[0087] Furthermore, the preset wedge angle αS formed by the fifth surface M5 and the sixth surface M6 of the adhesive layer 114 satisfies the following conditions:
[0088] When A1≥A2, α2-αS≥αS-α1;
[0089] Wherein, A1 is the brightness ratio of the first secondary image Y1, A1=S1 / S, A2 is the brightness ratio of the second secondary image Y2, A2=S2 / S, S1 is the brightness of the first secondary image Y1, S2 is the brightness of the second secondary image Y2, and S is the brightness of the primary image X.
[0090] In one embodiment, when A1>A2, α2-αS>αS-α1. In another embodiment, when A1=A2, α2-αS=αS-α1.
[0091] Applicants have discovered that the brightness of the first image Y1 and the second image Y2 may differ, and therefore, there may be a difference in the brightness of A1 and A2. It is understandable that if the brightness of the first image Y1 is greater than that of the second image Y2, then the first image Y1 will be more disturbing to the driver. Conversely, if the brightness of the second image Y2 is greater than that of the first image Y1, then the second image Y2 will be more disturbing to the driver.
[0092] In this embodiment, A1 ≥ A2 means that the brightness of the first secondary image Y1 is greater than that of the second secondary image Y2, while α2 - αS ≥ αS - α1 means that the preset wedge angle αS is closer to the first theoretical wedge angle α1 than the second theoretical wedge angle α2. It can be understood that when the brightness of the first secondary image Y1 is greater than that of the second secondary image Y2, the closer the preset wedge angle αS is to the first theoretical wedge angle α1, the closer the position of the first secondary image Y1 is to the primary image X, thereby reducing the interference of the first secondary image Y1 on the driver's field of view, thereby improving the driving experience.
[0093] Furthermore, the preset wedge angle αS formed by the fifth surface M5 and the sixth surface M6 of the adhesive layer 114 satisfies the following conditions:
[0094] When A1<A2, α2-αS<αS-α1;
[0095] Wherein, A1 is the brightness ratio of the first secondary image Y1, A1=S1 / S, A2 is the brightness ratio of the second secondary image Y2, A2=S2 / S, S1 is the brightness of the first secondary image Y1, S2 is the brightness of the second secondary image Y2, and S is the brightness of the primary image X.
[0096] In this embodiment, A1<A2 means that the brightness of the first secondary image Y1 is lower than that of the second secondary image Y2, while α2-αS<αS-α1 means that the preset wedge angle αS is closer to the second theoretical wedge angle α2 than the first theoretical wedge angle α1. It can be understood that when the brightness of the second secondary image Y2 is higher than that of the first secondary image Y1, the closer the preset wedge angle αS is to the second theoretical wedge angle α2, the closer the position of the second secondary image Y2 is to the primary image X. This reduces the interference of the second secondary image Y2 on the driver's field of view, thereby improving the driving experience.
[0097] Furthermore, the laminated glass satisfies the following conditions: α2-αS≤0.10 mrad, αS-α1≤0.14 mrad.
[0098] Optionally, α2-αS≤0.11 mrad, αS-α1≤0.16 mrad.
[0099] Preferably, α2-αS≤0.10 mrad, αS-α1≤0.14 mrad.
[0100] The smaller the difference between the preset wedge angle (αS) and the theoretical wedge angles (α1 and α2), the closer the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2 are to the primary image X, making the secondary images invisible to the naked eye, thereby achieving an effect equivalent to eliminating the secondary images.
[0101] Furthermore, the laminated glass 110 meets the following conditions:
[0102] A1≤20% and / or A2≤20%;
[0103] Wherein, A1 is the brightness ratio of the first secondary image, that is, the ratio of the brightness of the first secondary image Y1 to the brightness of the primary image X, A1=S1 / S, A2 is the brightness ratio of the second secondary image, that is, the ratio of the brightness of the second secondary image Y2 to the brightness of the primary image X, A2=S2 / S, S1 is the brightness of the first secondary image Y1, S2 is the brightness of the second secondary image Y2, and S is the brightness of the primary image X.
[0104] In this embodiment, A1 ≤ 20% means that the brightness of the first secondary image Y1 is less than or equal to 20% of the brightness of the primary image X. Preferably, A1 ≤ 15%, and more preferably, A1 ≤ 10%. Specific examples include A1 = 10%, 9%, 8%, 7%, 6%, 5%, 4%, 3%, 2%, or 1%. Similarly, A2 ≤ 20% means that the brightness of the second secondary image Y2 is less than or equal to 20% of the brightness of the primary image X. Preferably, A2 ≤ 15%, and more preferably, A2 ≤ 10%. Specific examples include A2 = 10%, 9%, 8%, 7%, 6%, 5%, 4%, 3%, 2%, or 1%. The laminated glass 110 may satisfy A1 ≤ 20%, A2 ≤ 20%, or both A1 ≤ 20% and A2 ≤ 20%. A1 ≤ 20% means that the first secondary image Y1 is less distinct from the primary image X, making it more difficult for the human eye area EB to discern the first secondary image Y1, thereby improving the recognition of the primary image X. Similarly, A2 ≤ 20% means that the second secondary image Y2 is less distinct from the primary image X, making it more difficult for the human eye area EB to discern the second secondary image Y2, thereby improving the recognition of the primary image X.
[0105] Optionally, the preset wedge angle αS formed by the fifth surface M5 and the sixth surface M6 is 0.1 mrad to 1.0 mrad, and can be further preferably 0.2 mrad to 0.7 mrad, or 0.25 mrad to 0.55 mrad, or 0.3 mrad to 0.6 mrad.
[0106] In this embodiment, the preset wedge angle αS can specifically be 0.1 mrad, 0.15 mrad, 0.18 mrad, 0.2 mrad, 0.22 mrad, 0.25 mrad, 0.28 mrad, 0.3 mrad, 0.31 mrad, 0.33 mrad, 0.35 mrad, 0.37 mrad, 0.38 mrad, 0.4 mrad, 0.42 mrad, 0.45 mrad, 0.49 mrad, 0.5 mrad, 0.52 mrad, 0.55 mrad, 0.58 mrad, 0.6 mrad, 0.65 mrad, 0.68 mrad, 0.7 mrad, 0.75 mrad, 0.8 mrad, 0.82 mrad, 0.88 mrad, 0.9 mrad, 0.91 mrad, 0.96 mrad, 1.0 mrad, etc.
[0107] Optionally, the thickness H1 of the outer glass plate 111 is 0.5 mm to 1.8 mm. In this embodiment, the thickness H1 of the outer glass plate 111 can be 0.5 mm, 0.55 mm, 0.59 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.62 mm, 0.65 mm, 0.68 mm, 0.73 mm, 0.75 mm, 0.8 mm, 0.83 mm, 0.88 mm, 0.9 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.1 mm, 1.15 mm, 1.16 mm, 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, 1.6 mm, 1.62 mm, 1.67 mm, 1.72 mm, 1.75 mm, 1.79 mm, 1.8 mm, etc.
[0108] In this embodiment, the thickness H1 of the outer glass plate 111 is set within a relatively small thickness range of 0.5 mm to 1.8 mm, so that the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2 can be infinitely close. When the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2 are infinitely close, the first theoretical wedge angle α1 and the second theoretical wedge angle α2 are also infinitely close, which is more conducive to the design selection of the preset wedge angle αS and the production and processing of the adhesive layer 114.
[0109] Specifically, when designing the wedge angle of the adhesive layer 114, it is necessary to balance the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2. For example, under the same brightness ratio, the first theoretical wedge angle α1 corresponding to the first secondary image Y1 is 0.46 mrad, and the second theoretical wedge angle α2 corresponding to the second secondary image Y2 is 0.54 mrad. To balance these two images, a preset wedge angle αS of 0.5 mrad may be selected. However, the preset wedge angle αS of 0.5 mrad deviates significantly from both the first theoretical wedge angle α1 of 0.46 mrad and the second theoretical wedge angle α2 of 0.54 mrad, thus not effectively balancing the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2.
[0110] The applicant has discovered that when the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2 are infinitely close, their corresponding first theoretical wedge angles α1 and second theoretical wedge angles α2 are also infinitely close, and vice versa. For example, when the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2 are infinitely close, the first theoretical wedge angle α1 corresponding to the first secondary image Y1 is 0.50 mrad, and the second theoretical wedge angle α2 corresponding to the second secondary image Y2 is 0.52 mrad. In this case, a preset wedge angle αS of 0.51 mrad can be selected. This preset wedge angle αS achieves a good effect in balancing the first secondary image Y1 and the second secondary image Y2.
[0111] Applicants have discovered that the thinner the thickness H1 of the outer glass plate 111, the smaller the distance between the primary image X and the secondary image Y2, and the clearer the primary image X appears. For example, when the outer glass plate 111 is 1.8 mm thick, the distance between the primary image X and the secondary image Y2 is greater than when the outer glass plate 111 is 1.6 mm thick, and the primary image X appears blurrier, as shown in Figures 7a, 7b, 8a, 8b, and 8c.
[0112] It should be noted that the dots and white lines shown in Figures 7a, 7b, 8a, 8b, and 8c are virtual images. The brighter one is the primary image X, and the smaller one is the secondary image Y2. The outer glass plate 111 is made of glass. In the first image illustrated in Figures 7a and 7b, Figure 7a shows the ghosting of the first image when the thickness of the outer glass plate 111 is 1.8 mm. Figure 7b shows the ghosting of the first image when the thickness of the outer glass plate 111 is 1.6 mm. In the second image illustrated in Figures 8a, 8b, and 8c, Figure 8a shows the ghosting of the second image when the thickness of the outer glass plate 111 is 2.1 mm. Figure 8b shows the ghosting of the second image when the thickness of the outer glass plate 111 is 1.8 mm. Figure 8c shows the ghosting of the second image when the thickness of the outer glass plate 111 is 1.6 mm.
[0113] Applicants have discovered that the thickness H1 of the outer glass plate 111 and the second theoretical wedge angle α2 of the second secondary image Y2 are positively correlated: that is, the smaller H1 is, the smaller α2 is. For example, when the thickness H1 of the outer glass plate 111 is 2.1 mm, the corresponding second theoretical wedge angle α2 of the second secondary image Y2 is 0.82 mrad; when the thickness H1 of the outer glass plate 111 is 1.8 mm, the corresponding second theoretical wedge angle α2 of the second secondary image Y2 is 0.7 mrad. When the thickness H1 of the outer glass plate 111 is 1.6 mm, the corresponding second theoretical wedge angle α2 of the second secondary image Y2 is 0.62 mrad; and when the thickness H1 of the outer glass plate 111 is 1.3 mm, the corresponding second theoretical wedge angle α2 of the second secondary image Y2 is 0.5 mrad. According to the human eye's ability to detect ghosting, most people's ability to detect ghosting is less than 0.5 mrad. That is, when the second theoretical wedge angle α2 is less than 0.5 mrad, the human eye has difficulty distinguishing the primary image X from the secondary image Y2. In other words, when observed from the eye area EB, the primary image X and the secondary image Y2 essentially overlap. Therefore, the optimal thickness of the outer glass plate 111 for a second theoretical wedge angle α2 less than 0.5 mrad is less than 1.3 mm, as shown in Figure 9 below. Furthermore, considering the strength of the outer glass plate 111, it is recommended that outer glass plates 111 with a thickness less than 1.3 mm be reinforced glass that has undergone special chemical treatment, such as chemically tempered glass. Note that in Figure 9, the abscissa represents the thickness H1 (mm) of the outer glass plate 111, and the ordinate represents the second theoretical wedge angle α2 (mrad).
[0114] Please refer further to Table 1, which shows the results obtained by the applicant's experiments. As can be seen from the results in Table 1, when the thickness of the outer glass plate 111 remains unchanged while the thickness of the inner glass plate 115 is changed, the first theoretical wedge angle α1 and the second theoretical wedge angle α2 simultaneously increase or decrease. However, when the thickness of the inner glass plate 115 remains unchanged while the thickness of the outer glass plate 111 is reduced, the first theoretical wedge angle α1 remains unchanged while the second theoretical wedge angle α2 decreases. In other words, the second theoretical wedge angle α2 approaches the first theoretical wedge angle α1, which helps balance the first and second secondary images Y1, Y2, and adjust them as close to the primary image X as possible. Furthermore, when the thickness of the inner glass plate 115 remains unchanged while the thickness of the outer glass plate 111 is reduced, the brightness ratio A2 of the second secondary image Y2 also decreases, which helps reduce the interference of the second secondary image Y2 on the primary image X.

This chemically strengthened glass contains various metal oxides such as silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, sodium oxide, and magnesium oxide. Outer glass pane 111 can be transparent glass with a visible light transmittance of 85% to 93%.
[0118] Inner glass pane 115: The inner glass pane 115 has a third surface M3 facing the exterior of the vehicle 1 and a fourth surface M4 facing the interior of the vehicle 1. The inner glass pane 115 may be subjected to a high-temperature bending process at a temperature of at least 500°C. The thickness of the inner glass pane 115 may range from 1.6 mm to 5.0 mm. When the outer glass pane 111 is physically strengthened glass, the inner glass pane 115 is preferably 1.6 mm to 2.6 mm, such as 1.6 mm, 1.8 mm, 2.1 mm, or 2.6 mm, with 1.8 mm and 2.1 mm being preferred, and 1.8 mm being more preferred. When the outer glass pane 111 is chemically strengthened glass, the inner glass pane 115 is preferably 3.0 mm to 5.0 mm, such as 3.2 mm, 3.5 mm, 4.0 mm, or 5.0 mm, with 3.5 mm, 4.0 mm, or 5.0 mm being preferred. The inner glass plate 115 may be a transparent glass with a visible light transmittance of 85% to 93%, or may be an ordinary green glass with a visible light transmittance of 80% to 88%.
[0119] Adhesive layer 114: Adhesive layer 114 is sandwiched between outer glass panel 111 and inner glass panel 115 and is used to bond second surface M2 to third surface M3. The thickness of adhesive layer 114 can range from 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm. Adhesive layer 114 is used to bond and secure outer glass panel 111 and inner glass panel 115 together. For example, polycarbonate (PC), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyvinyl butyral (PVB), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), polyacrylate (PA), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polyurethane (PUR), or ionotropic polymer film (SGP) can be used, with polyvinyl butyral (PVB) being preferred. Adhesive layer 114 can also have other functions, such as being colored to block sunlight or providing sound insulation.
[0120] The adhesive layer 114 is a material with uneven thickness. For example, referring to FIG. 4 , the laminated glass 110 has a first end D1 (the end of the laminated glass 110 closer to the wheel when installed in the vehicle 1 ) and a second end D2 (the end of the laminated glass 110 farther from the wheel when installed in the vehicle 1 ) that are spaced apart from each other. The adhesive layer 114 is a wedge-shaped film with a thickness gradually varying from 0.76 mm to 1.3 mm along the direction from the first end D1 to the second end D2 .
[0121] In some embodiments, the adhesive layer 114 can also be a modified EVA with high strength and high sound insulation performance. The vinyl acetate (VA) content in the modified EVA is between 5% and 40%. The linear structure of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is cross-linked by a cross-linking agent to form a network structure, thereby obtaining the modified EVA with significantly improved strength, high temperature creep resistance, water resistance, and sound insulation. As shown in Figure 10, the adhesion of the modified EVA film is 3 to 4 times higher than that of the standard PVB film. As shown in Figure 11, the modified EVA film has better sound insulation performance than the standard PVB film, especially in the sound frequency range of 1600Hz to 3250Hz, which is the most sensitive sound frequency of the human ear. The laminated glass formed by two 3mm thick glass plates and a 0.8mm thick modified EVA has a sound transmission loss of at least 42db.
[0122] In Figure 11, FL3 / EVA0.8 / FL3 represents a glass sheet, modified EVA, and a glass sheet stacked in this order, where FL3 represents a 3mm thick glass sheet and EVA0.8 represents a 0.8mm thick modified EVA. FL3 / PVB0.8 / FL3 represents a glass sheet, standard PVB, and a glass sheet stacked in this order, where FL3 represents a 3mm thick glass sheet and PVB0.8 represents a 0.8mm thick standard PVB. FL6 represents a 6mm thick glass sheet.
[0123] Infrared reflective film 113: The infrared reflective film 113 can be directly deposited onto the second surface M2 by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) or physical vapor deposition (PVD), for example, by magnetron sputtering deposition; and, preferably, the infrared reflective film 113 can withstand high-temperature heat treatment, such as heat treatment processes of bending processes such as bending or tempering. Specifically, the infrared reflective film 113 may include a metal layer, a metal alloy layer, or a metal oxide layer. The metal layer may be gold (Au), silver (Ag), copper (Cu), aluminum (Al), or molybdenum (Mo). The metal alloy layer may be a silver alloy. The metal oxide layer may be indium tin oxide, fluorine-doped tin dioxide, aluminum-doped tin dioxide, gallium-doped tin dioxide, boron-doped tin dioxide, tin-zinc oxide, or antimony-doped tin oxide. For example, when the infrared reflective film 113 includes a silver layer or a silver alloy layer, the silver layer or silver alloy layer is located between at least two dielectric layers, each dielectric layer containing at least one of zinc oxide, tin oxide, indium oxide, titanium oxide, silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, silicon nitride, silicon carbide, aluminum nitride, or titanium metal layers. In some embodiments, the infrared reflective film 113 may also be referred to as a transparent conductive film.
[0124] Although the embodiments of the present application have been shown and described above, it can be understood that the above embodiments are exemplary and cannot be understood as limitations on the present application. Ordinary technicians in this field can change, modify, replace and modify the above embodiments within the scope of the present application, and these improvements and modifications are also considered to be within the scope of protection of the present application.
