[0002] BUSHING AND VEHICLE SEAT
[0003] The invention relates to a bushing, in particular a bearing bushing and / or guide bushing, an adjusting mechanism for a vehicle seat with at least one adjusting element and such a bushing, and a vehicle seat.
[0004] State of the art
[0005] Various bushings are known from the prior art, for example, for an adjustment mechanism of a vehicle seat. Furthermore, vehicle seats are known in the prior art that have a number of bushings for guiding a component of an adjustment mechanism.
[0006] Task
[0007] The invention is based on the object of improving a bushing, in particular a bearing bush and / or guide bushing for a seat structure and / or an adjustment mechanism of a vehicle seat, of the type mentioned at the outset, in order to facilitate and simplify the construction of adjustment mechanisms and seat structures in an assembly, as well as to provide a corresponding adjustment mechanism and a corresponding vehicle seat.
[0008] Solution
[0009] This object with regard to the bushing is achieved according to the invention by the specified features of claim 1. The object with regard to the adjustment mechanism is achieved according to the invention by the specified features of claim 14. The object with regard to the vehicle seat is achieved according to the invention by the specified features of claim 15.
[0010] Preferred embodiments of the invention emerge from the dependent claims.
[0011] The object is achieved according to the invention by a bushing, in particular a bearing bushing and / or guide bushing, comprising two bushing rings that are movable relative to one another and are connected to one another by at least one flexibly designed joint. For example, the bushing rings are connected to one another on one side by the joint.
[0012] A joint is understood to be, for example, a film hinge that flexibly connects the two bushing rings.
[0013] The advantages achieved with the bushing according to the invention are, in particular, that the bushing easily enables tolerance compensation at least in one direction transverse to the bushing axis and / or axially in the direction of the bushing axis. This allows a component to be guided in the bushing very smoothly and / or with very little noise. Furthermore, the bushing is easy to manufacture and install, making it particularly cost-effective.
[0014] Because the bushing according to the invention comprises two relatively movable bushing rings, which are connected to one another on one side by at least one flexible joint, lateral bearing play can be easily compensated. This can reduce the risk of lateral play during assembly or installation. In particular, this can support the comfort of the seat structures and the operation of the adjustment mechanisms.
[0015] The bushing rings are held securely together during transport by the joint. In addition, the bushing can be easily inserted into a recess from two sides. In particular, the bushing rings can be easily pressed into the recess from two sides. The joint can be bent once or multiple times, for example, to rest against a corresponding edge or outer edge of a vehicle seat component in the area of the recess or to surround it in sections.
[0016] The bushing can also be used for other, non-vehicle-related adjustment elements and / or components.
[0017] The bushing can be designed as an injection-molded part, particularly a plastic injection-molded part. The bushing, i.e., the bushing rings and the joint, can be formed as one piece or in one piece. The bushing can be formed as two pieces. For example, the bushing rings can each be formed separately and then connected to each other via the joint. One of the bushing rings can also already be provided with the joint and then connected to a separate bushing ring.
[0018] For example, the bushing can consist of two identical or unequal bushing rings. The bushing rings can be bushing halves or bushing sleeves. The bushing rings can be manufactured in an injection mold with a joint, for example in the form of a hinge, in particular a film hinge, or in the form of a flexible strip or band.
[0019] The joint, for example a film hinge, in particular a band hinge, enables the bushing, in particular its bushing rings, to be mounted from both sides of a bearing point, for example a housing wall or a bore or recess for the bushing.
[0020] Each bushing ring, i.e., each bushing half or bushing side of the bushing, can be equipped with a collar and / or flange. A collar surface can be designed, for example, as a flat, concave, convex, or curved shape to compensate for axial tolerances when bolting adjacent parts together. Avoiding lateral play in a bolted connection, for example, of an adjustment mechanism and / or a seat structure, minimizes the risk of unwanted rattling noises and increases comfort in the seat structures and their components.
[0021] In a use state, the bushing rings can be arranged parallel to each other. The bushing axes running through the bushing rings can be axially aligned with each other.
[0022] The bushing rings can be movable by means of the joint between a non-use position folded away from one another and a use position folded towards one another.
[0023] In the use position, the bushing rings can be arranged relative to one another such that they have first end faces facing one another and second end faces facing away from one another. In the use position, the first end faces of the bushing rings can contact one another. In the use position, the first end faces can form inner sides arranged in the recess. The second end faces can form outer sides lying on the outside in the use position. The second end faces can be formed, for example, by the respective bushing collar. The second end faces can each form a contact surface and / or bearing surface.
[0024] In the use position, the bushing rings can form a common through-hole. The through-hole can be provided, for example, for the passage of a bearing element and / or for the attachment of a connecting element, depending, for example, on the type and use of the adjusting element provided with the bushing.
[0025] The bushing rings can each have a sleeve body. At least one of the bushing rings can have a bushing collar, also called a collar pull, flange or collar, that projects beyond the sleeve body. At least one of the bushing rings can have a collar shape that is curved outwards in the axial direction. At least one of the bushing rings can have a bushing collar with a collar shape that is convex-concave in the axial direction. At least one of the bushing rings can have a bushing collar with a circumferentially wavy or differently curved collar shape. An odd or uneven collar surface, for example a flange surface, collar surface or collar pull surface, can compensate for axial tolerances in a connection, e.g. a screw connection, of adjacent parts.
[0026] The joint can have at least one notch that defines a bending area around which the bushing rings are movable relative to one another. The joint can, for example, have two spaced-apart notches, each defining a bending area. The joint can be U-shaped. The U-shape can adapt to a plurality of edge sides or outer edges of different adjustment elements, whereby the fixing of the bushing, in particular the bushing rings, in the region of the recess can be additionally supported. In addition, the bendable, hinged or foldable joint enables easy assembly of the bushing from two sides of a housing wall and / or a bore for the bushing.
[0027] The joint can be connected at each end to a bushing collar of the respective bushing ring.
[0028] The object is further achieved according to the invention by an adjustment mechanism for a vehicle seat having at least one adjustment element and a bushing, for example a bearing bush and / or guide bushing, attached to a recess in the adjustment element. The bushing comprises two bushing rings that are movable relative to one another and are connected to one another by at least one flexibly designed articulation point. The bushing rings can be inserted into the recess from two opposite sides of the recess, with the articulation point resting against an outer edge, for example the edge side, of the adjustment element in the region of the recess.
[0029] The recess can be a bore, for example. The adjusting element can be, for example, a spindle, in particular a drive spindle, for driving a vehicle seat component and / or another vehicle component, such as a tailgate. The adjusting element can be, for example, a rocker arm of a height adjuster for vehicle seats. The adjusting mechanism can be, for example, a length adjuster, a height adjuster, a door opening mechanism, a door closing mechanism, or another mechanism.
[0030] The adjustment element can have a connecting area provided with the recess. In the case of an adjustment element designed as a threaded rod or spindle, the connecting area can be a fastening head, for example, a spindle head. In the assembled state or in the operating position of the bushing, a first bushing ring can be inserted, for example, pressed into the recess from a first side of the connecting area, and a second bushing ring can be inserted, for example, pressed into the recess from a second side of the connecting area opposite the first side. The bushing rings can also be secured in the recess using adhesive.
[0031] The joint holding the bushing rings together can, for example, be bent once or multiple times in such a way that the joint largely encloses the outer edge, for example, the side edge, of the connecting area in a form-fitting manner. The joint can extend around the outer edge up to the recess. The joint can be connected at each end to a bushing collar of the respective bushing ring. The respective bushing collar can rest on the respective first and second sides of the connecting area and project radially beyond the recess.
[0032] By equipping the adjusting element with such a bushing, axial and / or lateral bearing play can be compensated. Furthermore, the use of such a bushing can facilitate assembly.
[0033] The object is further achieved according to the invention by a vehicle seat having a number of bushings according to the invention. In such a vehicle seat, guidance of an element, which is, for example, a component of an adjustment mechanism and / or a seat structure, is made possible in a simple manner, very smoothly and / or very quietly. Furthermore, tolerance compensation is easily achieved. The adjustment mechanism of the vehicle seat can be used, for example, for height adjustment or tilt adjustment.
[0034] In summary and in other words, the invention provides a bushing, in particular a bearing bush and / or guide bushing, which can be designed in two parts with a collar and at least one flexible articulation point, wherein a bushing geometry, in particular bearing bush geometry and / or guide bushing geometry, is designed such that the construction of seat structures and / or adjustment mechanisms is facilitated and made simpler and more cost-effective during assembly and, in addition, the risk of lateral bearing play can be compensated.

[0046] Corresponding parts are provided with the same reference numerals in all figures.
[0047] A vehicle seat 100, shown schematically in Figure 1 according to the prior art, having a seat structure 130, for example a seat frame structure, is described below using three spatial directions running perpendicular to one another. In a vehicle seat 100 installed in the vehicle, a longitudinal direction x runs largely horizontally and preferably parallel to a vehicle longitudinal direction that corresponds to the normal direction of travel of the vehicle. A transverse direction y, which runs perpendicular to the longitudinal direction x, is also oriented horizontally in the vehicle and runs parallel to a vehicle transverse direction. A vertical direction z runs perpendicular to the longitudinal direction x and perpendicular to the transverse direction y. In a vehicle seat 100 installed in the vehicle, the vertical direction z preferably runs parallel to a vehicle vertical axis.
[0048] The position and direction information used, such as front, rear, top, and bottom, refer to a viewing direction of an occupant sitting in the vehicle seat 100 in a normal sitting position, with the vehicle seat 100 installed in the vehicle, in a position of use suitable for passenger transport with the backrest 104 upright and oriented in the direction of travel as usual. However, the vehicle seat 100 can also be installed or moved in a different orientation, for example, transversely to the direction of travel. Unless otherwise described, the vehicle seat 100 is constructed mirror-symmetrically to a plane running perpendicular to the transverse direction y.
[0049] The backrest 104 can be pivotably mounted on a seat part 102 of the vehicle seat 100. For this purpose, the vehicle seat 100 can optionally include a fitting 106 as an adjustment mechanism 118, for example, an adjustment fitting, rotary fitting, locking fitting, or wobble fitting. An adjustable headrest (not shown in detail) can be arranged on the backrest 104 and can be adjusted, for example, by an adjustment mechanism (not shown in detail), for example, a spindle drive.
[0050] The position and direction specifications used, such as radial, axial, and circumferential, refer to a rotational axis 108 of the fitting 106. Radial means perpendicular to the rotational axis 108. Axial means in the direction of or parallel to the rotational axis 108.
[0051] The vehicle seat 100 can optionally include a longitudinal adjustment device 110 as an adjustment mechanism 120, for example, a longitudinal adjustment mechanism. The longitudinal adjustment device 110 includes, for example, a rail arrangement 112 with a first rail element 114 and a second rail element 116. The first rail element 114 is adjustable relative to the second rail element 116 in the longitudinal direction x. The first rail element 114 is attached to the seat part 102. The second rail element 116 is attached to a structural element of a vehicle, for example, a vehicle floor. The rail elements 116, 114 can be adjusted longitudinally relative to one another, for example, by a spindle drive.
[0052] For clarity, the first rail element 114 is referred to as the upper rail 114 in the following description. This upper rail 114 (also called a guide rail or carriage) is assigned to the vehicle seat 100 and is configured to support this vehicle seat 100. The second rail element 116 is referred to below as the lower rail 116. The lower rail 116 is fixed and is connected, for example, to the floor of a vehicle.
[0053] Various bushings 200 are known from the prior art, for example, for an adjustment mechanism 118, 120 of the vehicle seat 100. Furthermore, vehicle seats 100 are known in the prior art that have a number of bushings 200 for guiding a component, for example, an adjustment element 122 shown in Figures 7 to 10, of an adjustment mechanism 118, 120. For example, a joint of a seat height adjustment mechanism of the vehicle seat 100 can comprise a bushing 200 with a pivot pin mounted therein.
[0054] Figure 2 shows a perspective view of a socket 200 according to the invention in a delivery state, for example, an unfolded initial state or manufacturing state, in particular a non-use state, according to a first exemplary embodiment. Figure 3 shows the socket 200 according to the invention, for example, in a use state, for example, an assembled state.
[0055] The bushing 200, for example a bearing bush and / or guide bushing, comprises two bushing rings 210, 220 which are movable relative to one another and are connected to one another on one side by at least one flexible joint point 230.
[0056] The advantages achieved with the bushing 200 according to the invention consist in particular in the fact that the bushing 200 easily enables tolerance compensation at least in a direction transverse to the bushing axis 202, in particular radially to the bushing axis 202, in an assembled state and / or compensation of axial tolerances when connecting adjacent components axially in the direction of the bushing axis 202. This enables a component to be guided in the bushing 200 in a simple manner, very smoothly and / or very quietly. The bushing 200 is also easy to manufacture and easy to assemble, and is therefore particularly cost-effective.
[0057] The bushing rings 210, 220 each have a sleeve body 212, 222, for example a base body.
[0058] In a folded assembly state, for example, a fully assembled state, hereinafter also referred to as the use position, the bushing rings 210, 220, in particular their sleeve bodies 212, 222, are arranged coaxially with one another. In the folded use position, the bushing axes 202 extending through the bushing rings 210, 220 are axially aligned with one another.
[0059] The bushing rings 210, 220 are movable by means of the joint 230 between a non-use position folded away from one another and a use position folded towards one another.
[0060] The bushing rings 210, 220 each have a first end 214, 224, for example an inner or inwardly directed first end 214, 224 in the assembled final state, and a second end 216, 226, for example an outer or outwardly directed second end 216, 226 in the assembled final state.
[0061] The first ends 214, 224 of the bushing rings 210, 220 are, in particular, first end faces 214a, 224a. The second ends 216, 226 of the bushing rings 210, 220 are, in particular, second end faces 214a, 224a opposite the respective first end faces 214a, 224a. In the use position, the bushing rings 210, 220 are arranged relative to one another such that they have first end faces 214a, 224a facing one another and second end faces 216a, 226a facing away from one another. As a result, the bushing 200 can be particularly easily inserted into a recess 124, for example shown in Figures 7 to 10, of a component, for example an adjusting element 122, an adjusting mechanism 118, 120 and / or a supporting structure and / or a seat structure of the vehicle seat 100.
[0062] In the final assembled state, as shown in Figure 3, the first ends 214, 224, in particular the first end faces 214a, 224a, can contact each other and optionally connect to each other, for example by riveting or clipping.
[0063] The bushing rings 210, 220 each have a bushing collar 218, 228, also called a collar, at their second ends 216, 226, in particular at their second end faces 216a, 226a. This secures the bushing 200 in its final assembled state against falling out in one direction, with the shape and size of the recess 124 corresponding to the outer shape and size of the bushing 200, in particular its sleeve bodies 212, 222. The sleeve bodies 212, 222 can be designed in such a way in shape and size that they can be clamped in the recess 124 when inserted.
[0064] To simplify insertion, for example, insertion and / or pressing in, of the respective bushing ring 210, 220, the respective bushing ring 210, 220 can be chamfered on the respective first end face 214a, 224a. For example, the first end faces 214a, 224a can each have a chamfer 290.
[0065] The respective bushing ring 210, 220 is, for example, cylindrical and has a sleeve-shaped inner contour 240 and a sleeve-shaped outer contour 250. In the assembled, in particular mounted, state, the inner contours 240 form a common through-opening 260, as shown in Figure 3, for example, for receiving a bolt.
[0066] The bushing 200 can be formed as a single-piece or one-piece injection-molded part. The bushing 200 can be formed in two parts. For example, the bushing 200 can consist of two identical, in particular identical, or dissimilar bushing rings 210, 220. The bushing rings 210, 220 can be manufactured in an injection mold with the joint 230, for example in the form of a hinge, in particular a film hinge 232, or in the form of a flexible strip or band.
[0067] The two bushing rings 210, 220 of the bushing 200 are connected to each other by a thin joint 230 that acts like a hinge. The bushing rings 210, 220 can thus be held together by springs and moved toward each other, for example.
[0068] The articulation point 230 can have at least two notches 234. Each notch 234 can form a bending region 236 or a rotation axis about which the bushing rings 210, 220 can be moved relative to one another, in particular can be folded. The bushing rings 210, 220 are folded relative to one another at the bending regions 236 during assembly.
[0069] Figure 3 shows a perspective view of the socket 200 according to the first embodiment in a further delivery state and / or an assembly state, for example final assembly state.
[0070] The bushing rings 210, 220 are movable by means of the joint 230 between a non-use position folded away from one another and a use position folded towards one another.
[0071] In the position of use, the bushing rings 210, 220 are arranged relative to one another in such a way that they have first end faces 214a, 224a facing one another and second end faces 216a, 226a facing away from one another.
[0072] In the position of use, the bushing rings 210, 220 form a common through opening 260.
[0073] The bushing rings 210, 220 are identical in the illustrated embodiment, but can also be unequal and differ, for example, in the design of their bushing collars 218, 228. The bushing rings 210, 220 and the joint 230 can be formed as one piece or in multiple pieces.
[0074] In the illustrated embodiment, the joint 230 comprises two notches 234, each defining a bending region 236, wherein the joint 230 can be brought into an LI shape.
[0075] The joint 230 is connected at each end to a bushing collar 218, 228 of the respective bushing ring 210, 220.
[0076] Figure 4 shows a perspective view of a bushing 200 according to the invention in a delivery state and / or an assembly state, for example, a final assembled state, according to a second exemplary embodiment. In the illustrated exemplary embodiment, at least one of the bushing collars 218, 228 is convex-concave for tolerance compensation in the axial direction, i.e., along the bushing axis 202. In particular, both bushing collars 218, 228 have convex-concave collar shapes 270.
[0077] At least one of the bushing rings 210, 220 can have a collar shape 270 that is curved outwards in the axial direction or a convex-concave collar shape 270.
[0078] Figure 5 shows a section along line I-I in Figure 4 of the bushing 200 according to the second embodiment. For example, one of the bushing rings 210, 220 is shown, with the associated bushing collar 218, 228 having a convex-concave collar shape 270.
[0079] The chamfer 290 can be formed opposite the bushing collar 218. The chamfer 290 can be formed, for example, on the outer contour 250 of the first end face 214 of the bushing ring 210 shown. The respective bushing ring 210, 220 can also have a chamfer 290 formed on the inner contour 240 of the respective first end face 214, 224. Figure 6 shows a perspective view of a bushing 200 according to the invention in a delivery state and / or assembled state according to a third exemplary embodiment. In the illustrated exemplary embodiment, at least one of the bushing collars 218, 228 is curved, in particular alternately curved, for tolerance compensation in the axial direction, i.e., along the bushing axis 202. In particular, both bushing collars 218, 228 have curved, for example, wave-shaped, collar shapes 280.
[0080] At least one of the bushing rings 210, 220 may have a bushing collar 218, 228 with a circumferentially extending, wave-shaped collar shape 280.
[0081] The bushing rings 210, 220 can each have a sleeve body 212, 222. At least one of the bushing rings 210, 220 can have a bushing collar 218, 228, also called a collar, flange, or collar, that projects beyond the sleeve body 212, 222. In the illustrated embodiment, both bushing rings 210, 220 are of identical design and each have the same bushing collar 218, 228. An uneven or uneven collar surface, for example a flange surface, collar surface, or collar surface, can compensate for axial tolerances in a connection, for example a screw connection, of adjacent parts.
[0082] Figure 7 shows a perspective view of a bushing 200 according to the invention in a pre-assembly state on an adjusting element 122 of an adjusting mechanism 118, 120. Figure 8 shows a perspective view of the bushing 200 according to the invention according to Figure 7 in an intermediate assembly state on the adjusting element 122 of the adjusting mechanism 118, 120. Figure 9 shows a perspective view of the bushing 200 according to the invention according to Figure 7 in a final assembly state on the adjusting element 122 of the adjusting mechanism 118, 120. Figures 7 to 9 accordingly show an assembly process of the bushing 200 on the adjusting element 122. The adjusting element 122 is, for example, a spindle 122a with a fastening head 126, which has a recess 124 for connection to a further component of the adjusting mechanism 118, 120.For example, one of the bushing rings 210, 220 is pre-assembled, for example, inserted and / or clipped, into the recess 124 from a first side of the fastening head 126. The respective first end face 214, 224 is pushed into the recess 124. Subsequently, the other bushing ring 210, 220 is moved around the joint 230, in particular folded, for example, around the bending areas 236. The joint 230 can be bent, in particular bent over, until it largely corresponds to the shape of an outer edge 128 of the fastening head 126.To complete the assembly process, the other bushing ring 210, 220 is inserted and / or clipped into the recess 124 from a second side of the fastening head 126 opposite the first side until the inner contours 240 of the bushing rings 210, 220 are coaxially aligned with one another and form the common through opening 260 and until the bushing collars 218, 228 rest against the sides of the fastening head 126.
[0083] The bushing rings 210, 220 can be inserted into the recess 124 from two opposite sides 126.1, 126.2 of the fastening head 126 of the spindle 122a, wherein the articulation point 230 rests on an outer edge 128, for example the edge side, of the spindle 122a in the region of the recess 124.
[0084] The recess 124 can, for example, be a suitable bore. The spindle 122a can be a drive spindle for driving a vehicle seat component and / or another vehicle component, such as a tailgate.
[0085] In the assembled state or in the use position of the bushing 200, one of the bushing rings 210, 220 can be inserted, for example pressed, into the recess 124 from a first side 126.1 of the fastening head 126, and another of the bushing rings 210, 220 can be inserted, for example pressed, into the recess 124 from a second side 126.2 of the fastening head 126 opposite the first side 126.1. The joint 230 holding the bushing rings 210, 220 together can, for example, be bent once or multiple times such that the joint 230 largely encloses the outer edge 128, for example the side edge, of the fastening head 126 in the region of the recess 124 in a form-fitting manner. The joint 230 can extend around the outer edge 128 up to the recess 124. The joint point 230 can be connected at each end to a bushing collar 218, 228 of the respective bushing ring 210, 220. The respective bushing collar 218, 228 can be connected to the respective first and second sides 126.1, 126.2 of the fastening head 126 and project radially beyond the recess 124.
[0086] By providing the spindle 122a with such a bushing 200, axial and / or lateral bearing play can be easily compensated. Furthermore, the use of such a bushing 200 can facilitate assembly.
[0087] Figure 10 shows a section along line II-II in Figure 9. In the final assembly state shown, the sleeve bodies 212, 222 of the bushing rings 210, 220 are fully inserted into the recess 124, and the bushing collars 218, 228 rest against the sides of the fastening head 126 of the adjusting element 122. The dimensions of the joint 230 can correspond to the dimensions of the fastening head 126.
