[0001] The present invention relates to confectionery.
[0002] In the past, Patent Document 1, for example, discloses a structure for puzzle chocolate, in which molten chocolate is poured into a mold to solidify and form a chocolate confectionery with a peripheral shape that conforms to the mold, a surface with a three-dimensional shape and pattern that follows the bottom surface of the mold, and a required thickness, and this chocolate confectionery is then divided into several required pieces along a plane by cut lines that intersect vertically and horizontally at required intervals.
[0003] Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 63-1289
[0004] Patent Document 1 discloses a chocolate confectionery that has cut lines to make it into a puzzle. However, this confectionery only has a way of playing with it, such as cutting out a predetermined pattern along the cut lines and reassembling the puzzle into the original pattern, and there are few ways to play with it and few variations in flavor, etc., so it has a problem with its entertainment value.
[0005] An object of the present invention is to provide a confectionery with improved taste.
[0006] One embodiment of the confectionery of the present invention comprises a plate-shaped main body portion, a character portion formed on the main body portion, and a background portion formed on the main body portion, and the background portion includes a first background portion formed to the same thickness as the character portion, and a second background portion formed to a different thickness than the character portion.
[0007] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide confectioneries with improved taste.

[0009] Hereinafter, a confectionery product according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0010] Fig. 1 is a plan view of a confectionery 1. The confectionery 1 shown in Fig. 1 is made of, for example, chocolate, and includes a main body 10 in the shape of a rectangular plate having four ends 20a, 20b, 20c, and 20d in a plan view. A character part 20 modeled after, for example, an animal is formed in the approximate center of the main body 10, and a background part 30 is provided around the character part 20.
[0011] The character part 20 is configured to include a plurality of parts, such as a face part 21, arms 22, torso part 23, and legs 24. Grooves 40 are provided between each part to separate them. Grooves 40 are also provided between the character part 20 and the background part 30, so that the character part 20 stands out from the background part 30.
[0012] In this embodiment, the background portion 30 is configured to have, for example, multiple (five in this embodiment) strip-like sections adjacent to each other vertically and extending horizontally in the figure, with each strip having a different color and design to decorate the character portion 20. This strip-like background portion 30 is roughly divided into a first background portion 31 and a second background portion 32 based on its protruding height (see FIGS. 2 and 3). The top two first background portions 31 (31a, 31b) and the fourth first background portion 31 (31c) from the top all have different colors and designs. The third and bottom second background portions 32 (32a, 32b) have the same color but different designs.
[0013] Here, the second background portion 32 is formed in a first color system, such as chocolate brown. The groove portion 40 is also formed in the first color system. On the other hand, the first background portion 31 is formed in three color systems different from the first color system, such as blue, white, and pink. Each of these color systems is color-coded to reflect the flavor ingredients contained in the chocolate. In this embodiment, the chocolate is divided into four colors: brown, blue, white, and pink, and there are four flavors.
[0014] Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the confectionery 1. As shown in Fig. 2, the main body 10 has a base 50 on the bottom side of the main body 10. The character part 20 and the first background part 31 are formed by layering another material (a material with a different color and flavor) on one side (upper side) of the base 50 to a thickness approximately equal to that of the base 50.
[0015] The grooves 40 extending in the left-right direction of the main body 10 are formed to the left and right ends 20 b and 20 d as shown in the figure, and have a depth that reaches the base portion 50 .
[0016] The groove portion 40 is formed deep enough to reach the base portion 50, and is actually formed in the same color as the base portion 50 (the same first color system as the second background portion 32), but in order to make the lines easier to see in a plan view, it is shown in white in Figure 1 (the same in Figures 5, 6, and 7).
[0017] 2, the surface 20s of the character portion 20 does not form a continuous surface with the surface 31s of the first background portion 31 and the surface 32s of the second background portion 32. In other words, the surface 20s of the character portion 20 and the surfaces 31s and 32s of the background portion 30 are separated by the groove portion 40 that divides the character portion 20.
[0018] In the background portion 30, no letters are formed on the second background portion 32, which is configured to be lower when viewed from the front side (the upper side in the figure), but letters 38 are formed on a part of the first background portion 31, which is configured to be higher when viewed from the front side. In this way, the first background portion 31, on which the letters 38 are formed, can emphasize and present the letters 38 at a position that protrudes more than the second background portion 32.
[0019] Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A in Fig. 1, and Fig. 4 is a cross-sectional view taken along line B-B in Fig. 1. As shown in Fig. 3, in the main body 10, as described above, the character part 20 and the first background part 31 are layered on the base part 50. The character part 20 and the first background part 31 are configured to have the same thickness. On the other hand, the second background part 32 is thinner than the first background part 31 and is configured only by the base part 50.
[0020] The first background portion 31 is formed to be thicker than the second background portion 32, and can be formed to a thickness (t1) of, for example, 5.5 to 9.0 mm. In this case, the second background portion 32 can be formed to a thickness (t2) of 3.0 to 5.4 mm. This difference in thickness makes the second background portion 32 easier to separate than the character portion 20 and the first background portion 31.
[0021] Furthermore, because the main body 10 is configured as a bar of chocolate, it can be divided at any appropriate location. In particular, the grooves 40 are configured, for example, as shown in the figure, with a thickness (t3) thinner than the second background portion 32. Because the grooves 40 are configured thinner than the remaining portions, they are easy to divide and separate. This allows the character portion 20 to be easily identified from the main body 10. Here, as described above, the background portion 30 has four grooves 40 formed therein that penetrate horizontally to the left and right ends 20b, 20d. Therefore, these grooves 40 can be easily used when starting to divide and identify the character portion 20.
[0022] As shown in Figure 3, the base portion 50 is made of chocolate containing puffs 60. On the other hand, the character portion 20 and the first background portion 31 are made of chocolate without puffs 60. As a result, the confectionery 1 not only has different tastes depending on the portion, but the first background portion 31 is formed so that the texture is different from that of the second background portion 32.
[0023] The puffs 60 are mostly contained on the lower side (bottom side) of the base 50, and the bottom surface of the back side (lower side in the figure) of the base 50 has a slightly uneven shape. However, the front side (upper side in the figure) of the base 50 has almost no unevenness due to the puffs 60, and forms a flat surface made of chocolate that is relatively rectangular and includes four end parts 20a, 20b, 20c, and 20d, so that the character part 20 and first background part 31 can be easily layered on top of each other.
[0024] 4, the eye portion 21a of the character portion 20 is configured to be a different color that is lighter than the other portions. For example, the eye portion 21a is configured to be located in the white face portion 21, and the brown base portion 50 can be seen.
[0025] FIG. 5 is a plan view showing the main body 10 in a divided state, illustrating a third mode 3F of a failed example of failed identification of the character part 20. The identification state shown in FIG. 5 is the third mode 3F, in which the character part 20 and the background part 30 could not be properly separated. This is an example of a failure in the identification of the character part 20 at a relatively early stage. In this case, the right arm 22 of the character part 20 and the first background part 31c remain connected and are separated from the torso part 23. Because the thickness (t1) of the first background part 31c is the same as that of the arm 22 and the shoulder part (upper part) of the arm 22 is narrow, this type of failed separation is likely to occur if the position or pressing point during identification is inappropriate.
[0026] 6 is a plan view showing the state in which the main body 10 has been divided, illustrating a second mode 2F of a failure example in which the character part 20 has not been identified. The identification state shown in FIG. 6 is the second mode 2F, which is somewhat close to successful in identifying the character part 20. That is, although the character part 20 and the background part 30 have been separated, the right arm 22 and the right foot 24 have been split. In particular, the arm 22 and the foot 24 are small parts of the character part 20 and have the same thickness (t1) as the first background part 31c. Therefore, such a failure is likely to occur when a division operation is performed in such a way that a large external force is applied to the groove 40 between the torso 23.
[0027] 7 is a plan view showing the state in which the main body 10 has been divided, and is a plan view showing a first mode 1F when the character part 20 has been successfully divided and indexed. The indexed state shown in FIG. 7 is a successful example of the first mode 1F in which the character part 20 has been successfully indexed. In this case, the background part 30 has been successfully separated and indexed in the groove 40 between the character part 20 and the background part 30, i.e., in the outer periphery of the character part 20. Unlike the previously described failed example, this case is an example in which, for example, the way the main body 10 is held (where force is applied), the direction of force application, how it is bent, the strength of force, etc., were successful.
[0028] In addition, since the main body 10 of the confectionery 1 in this embodiment is made primarily of chocolate, the way the main body 10 cracks changes depending on the amount of puffs 60 mixed in and the size of the puffs 60, and the way the main body 10 cracks also changes slightly depending on the temperature of the main body 10.
[0029] As shown in the first mode 1F, second mode 2F, and third mode 3F described above, the way the main body 10 breaks is not uniform but subtly variable. As a result, the taste, aroma, and texture of the candy pieces created when breaking apart the character part 20, especially those created when the break is unsuccessful, vary from piece to piece, and can be enjoyed. In other words, while a player can feel a sense of accomplishment when they successfully separate and break apart the character part 20, unsuccessful separations can result in candy pieces of various shapes, and the player can enjoy the taste, aroma, texture, etc. that result from these failures.
[0030] 8A and 8B are perspective views showing the packaging state, where FIG. 8A is a perspective view showing the appearance of the packaging state, and FIG. 8B is a perspective view showing the inside of the packaging state.
[0031] When the confectionery 1 is offered and sold, it is provided wrapped in a packaging unit 70, for example, as shown in Fig. 8(a). When covered by this packaging unit 70, the main body 10 contained inside the packaging unit 70 is not visible. In other words, the packaging unit 70 is made of a material that does not transmit light, and the contents are completely covered. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 8(b), the main body 10 is contained within the packaging unit 70 in a state where it is contained within a container recess 81 of a tray-shaped container 80 that has a flange 82 on its outer edge.
[0032] Figure 9 is a perspective view showing the state when the main body 10 of the confectionery 1 is being removed. When removing the main body 10, as shown in Figure 9, for example, one side of the packaging part 70 is cut off and the container part 80 is pulled out. This removal operation can be performed, for example, by holding the packaging part 70 in one hand and pinching the flange part 82 of the container part 80 with the other hand. In this way, the main body 10 can be carefully removed without touching it. Furthermore, by providing the flange part 82 on the container part 80, the overall rigidity of the container part 80 is increased even though it is made of a thin material, and the main body 10 can be effectively protected.
[0033] On the outer surface of packaging section 70, one of the multiple types of characters for character section 20 is drawn. Meanwhile, the character section 20 formed on base section 50 housed inside packaging section 70 is configured such that multiple types of characters are prepared, and one of the characters is stacked on base section 50.
[0034] The character parts 20 of the main body part 10 housed in the packaging part 70 are housed in a random manner so that they do not necessarily match the character 71 drawn on the packaging part 70. Therefore, as shown in Fig. 9, when removing the candy from the packaging part 70, it is possible to enjoy checking whether the character 71 drawn on the packaging part 70 is the same as the character part 20 of the main body part 10 housed therein, or whether the character part 20 inside is a rare character.
[0035] As described above, the present type of confectionery 1 is a plate-shaped confectionery 1 provided with a character part 20, and the background part 30 is constructed to have multiple thicknesses, thereby creating a three-dimensional effect.
[0036] Furthermore, in the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the first background portion 31 of the background portion 30 is configured to be thick, which makes it possible to emphasize the first background portion 31 as a background more than the second background portion 32. Furthermore, the first background portion 31 and the second background portion 32 are adjacent to each other, which makes it possible to create a three-dimensional effect between the background portions.
[0037] Furthermore, in the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the surface 20s of the character portion 20 does not form a continuous surface with the surface 31s of the first background portion 31, which allows the first background portion 31 and the character portion 20 to be separated. Furthermore, the character portion 20 is adjacent to both background portions 31, 32 via the groove portion 40, which is the thinnest and most easily broken, and therefore can be separated at the groove portion 40. In particular, the groove portion 40 is provided around the entire periphery of the character portion 20, which allows the character portion 20 to be separated and removed from the main body portion 10.
[0038] In the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the main body 10 is configured so that the grooves 40 are easily broken, but parts other than the grooves 40 are also broken, so that parts other than the grooves 40 may break depending on the amount of force applied, making it difficult to identify the shape of the character part 20. Also, because the multiple parts of the character part 20 are separated by the grooves 40, it is difficult to identify the entire character part 20. As a result, identifying the character part 20 can be a fun and challenging task.
[0039] Furthermore, in the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the colors of the confectionery 1 can be enjoyed by changing the color system of the first background portion 31 and the second background portion 32. Furthermore, by making the color of the groove portion 40 different from that of the character portion 20, for example, the color system of the second background portion 32, the outline of the character portion 20 can be made clear. Furthermore, by configuring the character portion 20 to have different colors for each part portion, the character portion 20 can be presented in a colorful manner.
[0040] Furthermore, in the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the main body 10 is configured such that the character portion 20, the first background portion 31, and the second background portion 32 are layered on the base portion 50, making it easy to utilize the same color scheme as the base portion 50. The groove portion 40 can also be the same color as the base portion 50. The eyes and other parts can also be characterized as color schemes that utilize the base portion 50. Furthermore, when there are multiple types of characters on the base portion 50, using the same base portion 50 improves manufacturability.
[0041] Furthermore, in the present embodiment of the candy 1, the character portion 20 is formed in the center of the main body portion 10, so that during the process of cutting it out, one can enjoy the process of moving from the periphery towards the center portion to reach the character portion 20.
[0042] In the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the first background portion 31 and the second background portion 32 are configured to be different in ease of division, so that it is possible to present the difficulty of dividing the background portion 30, unlike a single background portion.
[0043] Furthermore, in the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the letters are formed on the first background portion 31 which is thicker, so that the letters can be emphasized.
[0044] Furthermore, in the present embodiment of the confectionery 1, the first background portion 31 is configured to include, for example, the top edge portion 20a and the right edge portion 20b of the four ends (sides) of the rectangular main body portion 10, so that, for example, cutting out (cutting out) can begin from the first background portions 31a, 31b.
[0045] Furthermore, in the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the groove 40 that serves as the dividing line is provided so that the character part 20 and the other parts can sometimes be easily separated and sometimes not, and the confectionery 1 is also configured so that parts other than the groove 40 can be broken as well, so that the user can enjoy neatly separating the character part 20. Furthermore, a sense of accomplishment can be felt when the character part 20 is neatly separated.
[0046] In the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the first background portion 31 and the second background portion 32 have different flavors, allowing the viewer to enjoy the process of dividing the confectionery 1 and the change in flavor at the same time. In particular, since the confectionery 1 does not always break in the same way, the color and flavor of the remaining pieces are constantly changing, allowing the viewer to enjoy this. Furthermore, since the main body portion 10 includes the base portion 50 containing the puffs 60, the viewer can enjoy the texture along with the flavor.
[0047] Furthermore, in the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the main body 10 is housed in the container 80, so that the main body 10 is protected during transportation and is easy to remove from the packaging 70. Furthermore, the main body 10 is hidden by the packaging 70, so that the variety of characters that can be seen when the packaging 70 is opened can be enjoyed.
[0048] While one embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention can be modified as appropriate within the scope of its technical concept. For example, in the above embodiment, the background portion 30 has two different thicknesses relative to the thickness of the character portion 20, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration and may have three or more different thicknesses.
[0049] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the confectionery is made mainly from chocolate, but this is not limited to this structure, and there is no particular limitation as long as the material hardens to a certain extent, such as cookies.
[0050] As described above, the present specification describes the following:
