Description

Lumber using V-cutting

[0001] The present invention relates to a timber using V-cutting.

[0002] Typically, lumber is made of materials such as wood or plywood, and plays a central role in making furniture such as desks and chairs.

[0003] Here, plywood is made by cutting the wood grain thinly, overlapping it perpendicular to the grain direction, applying adhesive, and pressing it, and MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard) is made by grinding wood into fine particles, mixing it with adhesive, and then bonding them together.

[0004] Since this type of material is made by bonding and pressing wood tissue with an adhesive mixed with volatile organic solvents, it may emit harmful gases such as formaldehyde, which can be harmful to the user's body.

[0005] In addition, there are problems such as the complex manufacturing process leading to processing, which results in high costs, the product being heavy for users to carry, and the product being difficult to recycle, which means it must be disposed of as waste.

[0006] In addition, for example, in wooden products such as desks, the use of boards together with lumber creates a lot of weight, which causes many problems in transportation, and in particular, plywood has a problem with the joints coming off due to loosening and peeling of the adhesive.

[0007] To solve these problems, as shown in Fig. 1, conventionally, multiple pieces of corrugated cardboard having a wave-shaped structure in the middle section are laminated using an adhesive and used as a lumber (1).

[0008] Here, the corrugated core formed in a wave-like structure on the middle surface of the cardboard can be divided into types according to the height or .

[0009] For example, A-groove is a groove having a height of 4.6 mm to 4.8 mm, B-groove is a groove having a height of 2.5 mm to 2.8 mm, and E-groove is a groove having a height of 1.2 mm to 1.3 mm.

[0010] At this time, A flute shows superior performance in vertical compressive strength and cushioning properties compared to other flute types, but has the characteristic of being weak in long-term storage due to low flute density, B flute has lower compressive strength and cushioning properties compared to A flute, but has the characteristic of having high material strength, and E flute has lower cushioning properties, but has the characteristic of having excellent storage properties.

[0011] The lumber (1) that uses such cardboard by laminating it with adhesive uses a large amount of adhesive when laminating a large number of cardboards, so there was a problem that a large amount of harmful gases were generated during the drying process of the adhesive.

[0012] In addition, there was a problem that the outer part of the laminated lumber was exposed to the cross-section of the cardboard, causing contamination or deformation over time.

[0013] (Patent Document 1) Republic of Korea Publication No. 10-1999-0044814 (Published on June 25, 1999)

[0014] The present invention is intended to solve the above-mentioned problems, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide a lumber using V-cutting, which includes a cutting section that is vertically V-cut on the upper surface of a main body portion composed of a backing paper, a core paper, and a surface paper, and the main body portion can be folded along the cutting section.

[0015] The problems to be solved by the present invention are not limited to the problems mentioned above, and other problems not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below.

[0016] A lumber using V-cutting according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a backing paper; a corrugated sheet having one end bonded to the front side of the backing paper and formed into a wave-shaped structure; the backing paper and the corrugated sheet are sequentially laminated at least once; a surface paper having a shape corresponding to the backing paper is bonded to the other end of the corrugated sheet after the lamination is completed; and a cutting portion that is longitudinally V-cut on the upper surface of the surface paper, the cutting portion includes a first cutting portion that cuts a portion of the body portion along a first interval that is preset inwardly from both ends of the body portion, and the body portion can be folded along the cutting portion.

[0017] The above cutting portion can be cut to penetrate the surface paper and the core paper.

[0018] The above first gap may be set so that one end of the main body is in contact with the other end of the main body when the main body is folded.

[0019] The above cutting portion may include a second cutting portion that cuts a portion of the main body portion longitudinally along a second interval preset inward from the first cutting portion, and a third cutting portion that cuts a portion of the main body portion longitudinally along a third interval preset inward from the second cutting portion.

[0020] The second interval may be at least twice the thickness of the surface paper, and the third interval may be equal to the first interval.

[0021] The spacing between each of the third cutting portions may be at least twice the thickness of the main body portion.

[0022] The above cutting section may include a fourth cutting section that cuts a portion of the main body in a longitudinal direction along a fourth interval preset inward from the third cutting section, and a fifth cutting section that cuts a portion of the main body in a longitudinal direction along a fifth interval preset inward from the fourth cutting section.

[0023] The fourth interval may be greater than or equal to the thickness of the main body, and the fifth interval may be equal to the first interval.

[0024] The spacing between each of the fifth cutting portions may be at least twice the thickness of the main body portion.

[0025] The lumber using V-cutting according to an embodiment of the present invention is composed of a backing paper, a corrugated paper, and a surface paper, and thus is lightweight, has excellent processability, and thus improves work efficiency. The lumber includes a cutting section that is vertically V-cut on the upper surface of the main body, and since the main body is configured to be foldable along the cutting section, the manufacturing process is very simple, and thus the manufacturing cost can be reduced. The weight of the lumber is very light, so that transportation costs can be reduced. Contamination and deformation of the outer part of the lumber can be minimized.

[0026] The effects of the present invention are not limited to the effects mentioned above, and other effects not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below.

[0041] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a lumber using conventional cardboard, FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a lumber (10) using v-cutting according to the first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 3 is a drawing showing a state in which a lumber (10) using v-cutting according to the first embodiment of the present invention is folded along a cutting portion (200), and FIG. 4 is a drawing showing a cross-section of a lumber (10) using v-cutting according to the first embodiment of the present invention.

[0042] Referring to FIGS. 2 to 4, a lumber (10) using V-cutting according to the first embodiment of the present invention includes a main body (100) and a cutting portion (200), and the main body (100) can be folded along the cutting portion (200).

[0043] The main body (100) can be formed of paper material, and accordingly, no organic solvent is used, so it is harmless to the user's human body, is lighter than a conventional lumber made of wood or plywood, and can be recycled.

[0044] The main body (100) can be manufactured by a digital knife cutting method.

[0045] Corrugated cardboard manufactured using the conventional Thompson press method is manufactured by applying pressure to a mold, and thus, damage and deformation may occur due to the cut portions being pressed inward by the pressure, and a large amount of dust may be generated during the manufacturing process. In addition, when manufacturing according to the customer's requirements, the existing mold cannot be used, so a new mold must be manufactured to proceed with the work, and if the number of layers of the backing paper (110) and the corrugated paper (120) is increased, work efficiency decreases.

[0046] On the other hand, the digital knife cutting method cuts the main body (100) by vibrating the blade at high speed, so that damage to the cut portion of the main body (100) does not occur and less scrap is generated. For example, the main body (100) can be manufactured using a cutting machine using CNC technology. In addition, when manufacturing according to the customer's requirements, the mold manufacturing process can be omitted, and manufacturing can be facilitated even when the number of layers of the backing paper (110) and the corrugated paper (120) increases.

[0047] The main body (100) may include a backing paper (110), a core paper (120), and a surface paper (130).

[0048] Here, the double-sided paper (110) can be positioned to face the outside when the main body (100) is folded along the cutting portion (200), as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4.

[0049] As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the core (120) is attached to the front surface of the backing (110) and formed into a wave-shaped structure, thereby generating a buffer effect that can protect against external impact.

[0050] The bone core (120) may be composed of at least one of bone A or bone B.

[0051] Depending on the purpose for which the lumber (10) is used, the core (120) may be composed of an A core having a core height of 4.6 mm to 4.8 mm or a B core having a core height of 2.5 mm to 2.8 mm.

[0052] As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the surface paper (130) can be formed in a shape corresponding to the back paper (110) and adhered to the other end of the laminated core paper (120).

[0053] Meanwhile, the backing paper (110) and the core paper (120) can be sequentially stacked at least once.

[0054] At this time, the backing paper (110) and the core paper (120) can be laminated at different numbers depending on the load applied to the lumber (10) to prevent deformation from occurring due to the load applied to the lumber (10).

[0055] Meanwhile, the cutting section (200) can be vertically V-cut on the upper surface of the surface paper (130).

[0056] The cutting section (200) can be cut so that the left and right cross sections are symmetrical and the cutting angle is 90 degrees.

[0057] The cutting section (200) can be cut to penetrate the surface (130) and the core (120), as shown in FIG. 4.

[0058] As the cutting section (200) is V-cut to penetrate the surface (130) and the core (120), the main body (100) can be folded so that the left and right cross sections of the cutting section (200) are connected.

[0059] At this time, since V-cutting cannot be produced using the conventional Thomson press method as described above, it is preferable to produce it using a digital knife cutting method.

[0060] Meanwhile, the gap between the two ends of the cutting section (200) may be twice the thickness of the surface paper (130) and the core paper (120) so that the main body (100) can form a right angle when folded.

[0061] The cutting section (200) may include a first cutting section (210) that cuts a portion of the main body (100) along a first interval (211) set inward from both ends of the main body (100).

[0062] The first cutting portion (210) cuts a portion of the main body (100) along a first gap (211) set inward from both ends of the main body (100), so that when the main body (100) is folded along the first cutting portion (210), it is configured as a rectangular hexahedron, which can support a product or a plate.

[0063] Here, the first gap (211) may be the distance from the end of the main body (100) to one end of the first cutting portion (210).

[0064] The first gap (211) can be set so that one end of the main body (100) comes into contact with the other end of the main body (100) when the main body (100) is folded.

[0065] For another example, the central axis of the first cutting portion (210) is positioned at a distance from the central axis of the main body (100) by twice the thickness of the surface (130) and the thickness of the core (120) on both sides, so that when the main body (100) is folded along the first cutting portion (210), it can be configured in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped.

[0066] In this way, the lumber (10) using V-cutting according to the first embodiment of the present invention can support a product or plate having a greater load than the lumber (10) whose width is configured to be twice the thickness of the main body (100) by folding the main body (100) along the cutting portion (200) as shown in FIG. 3.

[0067] At this time, a maximum compressive load test of the folded lumber (10) along the first cutting section (210) was conducted, and as a result of applying force until deformation occurred in the lumber (10) according to the first embodiment of the present invention, the results were 343.5 kgf, 356.0 kgf, 366.0 kgf, 352 kgf, and 357.5 kgf, which means that it can withstand an average force of 355 kgf, and thus can support a product or board weighing 355 kg or less.

[0068] FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a lumber (10) using v-cutting according to the second embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 6 is a drawing showing a state in which the lumber (10) using v-cutting according to the second embodiment of the present invention is folded along a cutting portion (200), and FIG. 7 is a drawing showing a cross-section of the lumber (10) using v-cutting according to the second embodiment of the present invention.

[0069] Referring to FIGS. 5 to 7, in the lumber (10) using V-cutting according to the second embodiment of the present invention, the cutting section (200) may further include a second cutting section (220) and a third cutting section (230).

[0070] The second cutting section (220) can cut a portion of the main body (100) longitudinally along a second interval (221) preset inward from the first cutting section (210).

[0071] Here, the second gap (221) may be the distance from the other end of the first cutting portion (210) to one end of the second cutting portion (220).

[0072] The second gap (221) may be twice the thickness of the surface paper (130).

[0073] The second gap (221) may be twice the thickness of the surface paper (130) so that the surface paper (130) between the first cutting portion (210) and the surface paper (130) between the second cutting portion (220) and the third cutting portion (230) can be connected to each other when the main body portion (100) is folded along the first cutting portion (210) and the second cutting portion (220), but is not limited thereto. For example, since shrinkage or deformation may occur due to an external force, the gap may be between the thickness of the surface paper (130) and twice the thickness of the surface paper (130).

[0074] Meanwhile, the third cutting section (230) can cut a portion of the main body (100) longitudinally along a third gap (231) set inward from the second cutting section (220).

[0075] Here, the third gap (231) may be the distance from the other end of the second cutting portion (220) to one end of the third cutting portion (230).

[0076] The third interval (231) may be equal to the distance of the first interval (211).

[0077] For example, when the main body (100) is folded along the first cutting portion (210) and the second cutting portion (220), the surface (130) between the first cutting portion (210) at one end of the main body (100) can be connected to the surface (130) between the second cutting portion (220) and the third cutting portion (230), and both sides of the main body (100) can be in contact with the surface (130) between the respective third cutting portions (230).

[0078] Meanwhile, in the lumber (10) using V-cutting according to the second embodiment of the present invention, the spacing between each third cutting portion (230) may be twice the thickness of the main body portion (100).

[0079] For example, when the main body (100) is folded along the first cutting portion (210), the second cutting portion (220), and the third cutting portion (230), both sides of the main body (100) can be positioned on the central axis of the main body (100) by connecting the surface paper (130) between each of the third cutting portions (230), and each of the back papers (110) between the first cutting portions (210) at both ends of the main body (100) can be connected to each other to form a rectangular parallelepiped shape.

[0080] In this way, the lumber (10) using V-cutting according to the second embodiment of the present invention can support a product or plate having a greater load than the lumber (10) whose width is configured to be four times the thickness of the main body (100) by folding the main body (100) along the cutting portion (200) as shown in FIG. 6.

[0081] At this time, a maximum compressive load test of the folded lumber (10) along the first cutting section (210), the second cutting section (220), and the third cutting section (230) was conducted, and as a result of applying force until deformation occurred in the lumber (10) according to the second embodiment of the present invention, the results were 698.5 kgf, 730.0 kgf, 696.0 kgf, 704 kgf, and 702.5 kgf, so that the average force of 706.2 kgf can be withstood, and thus products or boards weighing 706.2 kg or less can be supported.

[0082] FIG. 8 is a perspective view of a lumber (10) using v-cutting according to a third embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 9 is a view showing a state in which the lumber (10) using v-cutting according to a third embodiment of the present invention is folded along a cutting portion (200), FIG. 10 is a view showing a cross-section of the lumber (10) using v-cutting according to a third embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 11 is a perspective view of the lumber using v-cutting according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 12 is a view showing a state in which the lumber using v-cutting according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention is folded along a cutting portion.

[0083] Referring to FIGS. 7 to 10, in the lumber (10) using V-cutting according to the third embodiment of the present invention, the cutting section (200) may further include a fourth cutting section (240) and a fifth cutting section (250).

[0084] The fourth cutting section (240) can cut a portion of the main body (100) longitudinally along the fourth interval (241) set inward from the third cutting section (230).

[0085] Here, the fourth gap (241) may be the distance from the other end of the third cutting portion (230) to one end of the fourth cutting portion (240).

[0086] The fourth gap (241) may be the thickness of the main body (100).

[0087] The fourth gap (241) is such that when the main body (100) is folded along the first cutting portion (210), the second cutting portion (220), the third cutting portion (230), and the fourth cutting portion (240), both sides of the main body (100) can be connected to the surface (130) between the third cutting portion (230) and the fourth cutting portion (240).

[0088] Meanwhile, the fifth cutting section (250) can cut a portion of the main body (100) longitudinally along the fifth gap (251) set inward from the fourth cutting section (240).

[0089] The fifth gap (251) may be the same as the gap of the double-sided paper (110) from one end of the main body (100) to the first cutting portion (210) when the main body (100) is folded through the first gap (211).

[0090] For example, when the main body (100) is folded along the first cutting portion (210), the second cutting portion (220), the third cutting portion (230), the fourth cutting portion (240), and the fifth cutting portion (250), the backing (110) from one end of the main body (100) to the first cutting portion (210) and the surface paper (130) between the fourth cutting portion (240) and the fifth cutting portion (250) can be connected correspondingly, and the backing (110) between the first cutting portion (210) and the second cutting portion (220) can be connected with the surface paper (130) between each of the fifth cutting portions (250).

[0091] Meanwhile, in the lumber (10) using V-cutting according to the third embodiment of the present invention, the spacing between each fifth cutting portion (250) may be twice the thickness of the main body portion (100).

[0092] For example, when the main body (100) is folded along the first cutting portion (210), the second cutting portion (220), the third cutting portion (230), the fourth cutting portion (240), and the fifth cutting portion (250), the backing paper (110) between the first cutting portion (210) and the second cutting portion (220) can be positioned on the central axis of the main body (100) by being connected to the surface paper (130) between each of the fifth cutting portions (250), and the backing papers (110) between the second cutting portion (220) and the third cutting portion (230) can be connected to each other to form a rectangular parallelepiped shape.

[0093] In this way, the lumber (10) using V-cutting according to the third embodiment of the present invention can support a product or plate having a greater load than the lumber (10) whose width is configured to be six times the thickness of the main body (100) by folding the main body (100) along the cutting portion (200) as shown in FIG. 9.

[0094] At this time, a maximum compressive load test was conducted on the folded lumber (10) along the first cutting portion (210), the second cutting portion (220), the third cutting portion (230), the fourth cutting portion (240), and the fifth cutting portion (250), and as a result of applying force until deformation occurred in the lumber (10) according to the third embodiment of the present invention, the results were 993.0 kgf, 1047.0 kgf, 1001.0 kgf, 1018.5 kgf, and 1033.0 kgf, so that the lumber can withstand an average force of 1018.5 kgf, and thus can support a product or board weighing 1018.5 kg or less.

[0095] However, it is not limited to this, and the lumber (10) using V-cutting may be formed by folding the main body (100) along the cutting portion (200) as shown in FIGS. 11 and 12, so that the width of the lumber (10) may be 8 times the thickness of the main body (100), or may be 10 times or more the thickness of the main body depending on the intended use.

[0096] At this time, the main body (100) is folded along the cutting section (200) and the maximum compressive load test of the lumber (10) having a width 8 times the thickness of the main body (100) is performed, and the force applied until deformation occurs in the lumber (10) is 1288.0 kgf, 1190.0 kgf, 1266.0 kgf, 1275.0 kgf, and 1248.0 kgf, so that the average force of 1253.4 kgf can be withstood, and therefore products or boards weighing 1253.4 kg or less can be supported.

[0097] As described above, the lumber (10) using v-cutting according to the embodiment of the present invention is composed of a backing paper (110), a corrugated paper (120), and a surface paper (130), and thus is lightweight and has excellent processability, thereby improving work efficiency. In addition, the main body (100) includes a cutting section (200) that is vertically v-cut on the upper surface thereof, and since the main body (100) is configured to be foldable along the cutting section (200), the manufacturing process is very simple, thereby reducing manufacturing costs. In addition, the weight of the lumber (10) and the board is very light, thereby reducing transportation costs. In addition, contamination and deformation of the outer surface of the lumber (10) can be minimized.

[0098] In addition, since the main body (100) is manufactured by a digital knife cutting method, damage to the cut portion of the main body (100) does not occur, less waste may occur, the mold manufacturing process can be omitted when manufacturing according to the customer's requirements, and manufacturing can be easy even when the number of layers of the backing paper (110) and the core paper (120) increases.

[0099] In addition, since the backing (110) and the core (120) are sequentially laminated at least once, the number of laminates is varied depending on the load applied to the lumber (10), thereby preventing deformation from occurring due to the load applied to the lumber (10).

[0100] The description of the present invention described above is for illustrative purposes only, and those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that modifications can be made to other specific forms without altering the technical spirit or essential characteristics of the present invention. Therefore, the embodiments described above should be understood as illustrative in all respects and not restrictive. For example, each component described as a single entity may be implemented in a distributed manner, and similarly, components described as distributed may be implemented in a combined manner.

[0101] In addition, the scope of the present invention is indicated by the claims described below rather than the detailed description above, and all changes or modifications derived from the meaning and scope of the claims and their equivalent concepts should be interpreted as being included in the scope of the present invention.
