Abstract
Description
[0001] The base of a segmented mattress.
[0002] The design of a segmented mattress is known from patents No. 2793224 and No. 2793225 by Nesmeeva E.A. The designs according to these patents include an element called a base for installing boxes (hereinafter referred to as the base). The box is an element of the design of a segmented mattress (hereinafter referred to as the mattress) (the part of the mattress in which the springs are located - the mattress) which is a square or rectangular piece of foam rubber (hereinafter: foam rubber, not shown in the figures) packed in a fabric cover (box cover) to which a Velcro fastener (hereinafter referred to as the Velcro) is sewn on the bottom. Upon detailed examination of the mattress design, it is clear that the base is fastened to the mattress with a zipper that runs along the edge of the mattress where the Velcro intended for installing the boxes cannot be sewn on. Thus, if there is no Velcro along the edge of the base, then the edges of the boxes located along the perimeter of the mattress will not be secured. This circumstance can create problems when using the mattress. That is,, the boxes may not be securely fastened to the base, which may lead to their displacement. Thus, the claimed invention is aimed at achieving a technical result consisting in increasing the reliability of fixing the boxes on the base of a segmented mattress.
[0003] The presented design of the base for installing boxes solves this problem, namely: to create a complete mattress design, the base for installing boxes known from the cited patents must be supplemented with an outlet 2 sewn to it in the form of a fabric strip with a zipper sewn to it.
[0004] This solution looks like this: Fig-1.
[0005] 1 - mattress, 2 - release, 3 - zipper (on the drawings any zipper will be designated by the number 3), 4 - the top layer of the base with Velcro 8 (all Velcro will be designated by the number 8), 5 - box, 6 - the upper part of the cover without a fold, 7 - the bottom layer of the base, 13 - marking lines for installing boxes.
[0006] Fig - 2.
[0007] Shown is a base consisting of two layers of fabric sewn together. Where 7 is the lower base layer, 4 is the upper base layer, 5 is the box, 3 is the zipper. Figure 2 is shown from below and for better understanding the lower base layer 7 is shown slightly bent from the upper base layer 4. The bend line corresponds to the seam line connecting the parts of the base together.
[0008] Fig, - 3.
[0009] Where 1 is a mattress, 2 is a release, 3 is a zipper, 4 is the top layer of the base, 5 is a box, 7 is the bottom layer of the base, 9 is the middle layer of the base, 10 is the seam line connecting the parts of the base together, 11 is the top part of the cover with a hem, the top part of the mattress with a hem 12. The parts of the mattress in the footnote BB, for a better understanding of the concept, are shown with gaps between them.
[0010] Thus, Fig. 1 shows a disassembled segmented mattress, where the release 2, which is part of the mattress 1, is fastened with a zipper 3 to the lower base layer 7, which is sewn to the upper base layer 4, on which the Velcro fasteners 8 are installed. Then, boxes 5 are installed on the upper base layer with Velcro fasteners and in accordance with the marking lines 13 (Fig. 1, footnote BA), and as can be seen from the image in Fig. 2, the edge of the upper base layer 4 protrudes above the lower base layer 7. Thus, the upper base layer 4 and the lower base layer 7 are sewn together, boxes 5 installed on the upper base layer 4 are securely fastened with the help of Velcro fasteners 8.
[0011] It is also possible to design a base having, in addition to the upper and lower layers, also a middle base layer 9, Fig. 3, sewn between the upper and lower base layers. Such a design of the base for installing the boxes allows creating a segmented mattress with a detachable upper part. For this, the upper part of the cover with hem 11 is used. As shown in Fig. 3 (footnotes BB and BG), the middle base layer also has a zipper 3 sewn along its edge, and also that the upper part of the cover with hem 11 also has a zipper. Thus, the upper part of the cover with hem 11 is fastened with the help of zipper 3 to the middle base layer 9. Such a design makes it possible to fold and secure the edge of the sheet between the mattress 1 and the upper part of the mattress with hem 12.
[0012] In addition, the base layers, completely or partially, can be made of stretch fabric with the ability to some stretching for possible compensation of base stretching under the weight of the human body and for better fastening of the upper, removable part of the mattress with its lower part, on the lower side of the lower base layer 7 and the upper side of the mattress, in addition to the zipper, Velcro can be sewn or attached in another way (not shown in the figures). For a double-sided mattress, Velcro should also be sewn to the lower side of the mattress (not shown in the figures), since when turning the mattress over, the lower side will become its upper side.
[0013] Stretch fabric - the term means the presence of elastic fibers in textiles, due to which it acquires stretchable properties.
[0014] In addition, a network of piezo sensors (not shown in the figures) connected via electric wires to an electronic programmable unit can be placed between the layers of the base for installing the boxes. Moreover, the covers of the boxes together with the pieces of foam rubber placed inside them can be tightly sewn up with thread, sealed with glue on all sides, or their ribs can be connected in another way with the possibility of removing the foam rubber or without such a possibility. Also, the boxes with the pieces of foam rubber inside them can be sewn or glued to the base, without using Velcro to attach them to the base. In addition, the base can be attached to the mattress only with Velcro, i.e. without using a zipper. Also, the boxes installed on the base can be sewn to it with threads, glued or attached to it in another way. They can be fastened together using Velcro fastened to their sides (the side of the box is the side perpendicular to the plane of the base) or fastened together using cords (ropes), including stretchable ones, pulled through the holes in the covers of the boxes. A network of piezo sensors or load sensors (pressure, deformation) is designed to study the owner's sleep and determine the wear of individual boxes of a segmented mattress. In addition to piezo sensors, film load sensors (pressure, deformation) of the TZT brand can be used, similar to those installed in electronic scales. The system works as follows: when a person lies down on the mattress, the piezo sensors determine what load is placed on each box. If the box is worn out, it no longer distributes the load well over its entire area. Thus, the fact that the box has become too soft is registered by the piezo sensors. Moreover, the piezo sensor generates electrical energy when a load is applied to it, then the network of sensors can work without a power source, but there is a chance that a power source will still be required. Thus, generating energy with each movement of the owner, the sensors transmit data to a programmable electronic unit, which accumulates and transmits them to a smartphone or another device every morning in the form of a report. Also, a network of piezo sensors can collect data on the owner's weight and the weight of individual parts of his body to develop recommendations regarding diet and physical activity.
[0015] In addition, the network of piezo or other sensors can be supplemented by a network of ultrasonic receiving and emitting sensors and sensors for determining the chemical composition of sweat, inhaled and exhaled air, heart parameters, body temperature and its individual parts, also installed between the layers of the base intended for ultrasound and other diagnostics of the owner of the mattress. That is, the owner of the mattress sleeps, tosses and turns, and the programmable computing device, using sensors and appropriate software, collects and processes data, forming a report on his health.
