Description

Cutting device and multi-wire cutting machine including the same Technical Field

[0001] The present invention also relates to a cutting device and a multi-wire saw comprising the cutting device, which are used for cutting ingot materials of semiconductors, solar cells or light-emitting diodes to obtain material slices. Background Art

[0002] EP 2826582 A1 discloses a wire saw device comprising a cutting head having a frame body and at least four openings configured to receive a set of wire guide cylinders, at least four bearing housing sleeves, and a temperature control shield arrangement having one or more temperature control shields, wherein the frame body is manufactured from a mineral casting and is combined with the at least four bearing housing sleeves and the one or more temperature control shields, the at least four bearing housing sleeves being adhesively bonded and / or press-fitted into each of the at least four openings. The bearing housing sleeves are annular and can be provided for high-precision mounting of the bearing housing, together with the mineral cast frame body, so as to achieve high precision in concentricity, parallelism, and / or perpendicularity of the wire guide cylinders.

[0003] The center distance between the two wire guide cylinders is fixed, and the size of the workpiece to be cut must also be within a certain range. If the workpiece to be cut is too small, the length of the wire that does not contact the workpiece to be cut will become longer, causing tension to drop and / or vibration to increase, which will damage the cutting quality; and if the workpiece to be cut is too large and cannot be processed due to the center distance between the two wire guide cylinders, a wire saw device with a larger center distance will need to be configured, and the required investment will need to increase exponentially. As the market demand for diversified ingot materials increases, such situations are becoming more and more common. Among them, the workpiece to be cut generally refers to ingot materials, and the ingot materials include materials such as gallium arsenide, germanium, polycrystalline silicon or single crystal silicon, indium phosphide, quartz, sapphire or other ceramic materials.

[0004] CN 112719444 A discloses a multi-wire saw. The cutting device of the multi-wire saw includes a frame body and a spindle system. The frame body has four bearing seat holes for mounting a spindle system. The spindle system includes a spindle motor, a motor mounting seat, a driving shaft assembly, a driven shaft assembly, a locking screw, and a shaft roller. The shaft roller (or roller) of the spindle system has similar or identical functions to the aforementioned wire guide cylinder. As the market demand for diversified ingot materials increases, the multi-wire saw faces the same technical problems as the wire saw device disclosed in EP 2826582 A1, namely, poor adaptability to workpieces of different sizes. Therefore, there is a need in the art for a multi-wire saw that can adapt to a variety of workpieces of different sizes. Summary of the Invention

[0005] In view of the above, an object of the present invention is to provide a cutting device and a multi-wire saw including the cutting device, which can adapt to workpieces to be cut of various sizes.

Each of the four eccentric bushings can be axially slidably installed in four of the six axial holes, and the four eccentric bushings are used to install two of the three rollers. The two non-eccentric bushings are arranged in the other two of the six axial holes for installing another one of the three rollers. The four eccentric bushings are provided in the other two of the six axial holes for installing another one of the three rollers. The cutting head has a frame body and six axial holes. The spindle system includes three rollers and three bearing box assemblies for supporting the three rollers, and three locking screw assemblies for locking the axial position of the rollers. Each of the four eccentric sleeves can be axially slidably installed in four of the six axial holes, and the four eccentric sleeves are used to install two of the three rollers. The two non-eccentric sleeves are arranged in the other two of the six axial holes for installing the other one of the three rollers. There is a bearing box in each of the three bearing box assemblies, and the two eccentric sleeves at the same end of the four eccentric sleeves are each provided with a support arm, and the two eccentric sleeves at the other end are fastened to the shaft hole. Two groups of limiting mechanisms are provided on the frame body, and each group of limiting mechanisms is combined with a shaft hole of an eccentric sleeve equipped with a support arm. Each group of limiting mechanisms includes at least two limiting sockets and fasteners. After the eccentric sleeve is inserted into the corresponding shaft hole, the support arm and the limiting socket can form a limiting fit. The fastener is used to fasten the support arm to the limiting socket. [0009] Preferably, each of the at least two position-limiting brackets has a guide mounting hole for mounting a guide rod, and the guide rod can be removed from one of the at least two position-limiting brackets and then mounted on the other position-limiting bracket. In addition, the guide mounting hole can also be directly provided on the frame body.

[0010] Preferably, each set of limiting mechanisms includes at least three limiting clamps and fasteners, and the at least three limiting clamps are located on the same plane.

[0011] Preferably, each of the at least three limiting brackets is equidistant from the center line of the corresponding shaft hole, and the distance between any two adjacent limiting brackets among the at least three limiting brackets is the same as the distance between the other two adjacent limiting brackets.

[0012] Preferably, the support arm is arranged on the eccentric sleeve by fastening, welding or fixing.

[0013] Preferably, each of the at least four axial holes is provided with at least two slide grooves, and each of the at least four eccentric sleeves is fastened or fixedly connected to a sliding key, the sliding key being capable of engaging with each of the at least two slide grooves. When the sliding key is engaged with each of the at least two slide grooves, the radial angle of the eccentric sleeve is restricted to different positions, and the eccentric sleeve does not rotate during axial movement.

[0014] Preferably, each of the at least four axial holes is provided with at least two slide grooves, and each of the at least four eccentric sleeves has a sliding tooth integrally formed therewith, the sliding tooth being capable of mating with each of the at least two slide grooves. When the sliding tooth is assembled with each of the at least two slide grooves, the radial angle of the eccentric sleeve is restricted to different positions, and the eccentric sleeve does not rotate during axial movement.

[0015] In another embodiment, a multi-wire saw includes a frame, a cutting device mounted on the frame, a feed system, a conductor system, a tension system, a wire routing system, a pay-off and retract system, and a mortar bucket located below the frame. The cutting device is mounted at the front end of the frame, the feed system is mounted above the cutting device, the pay-off and retract system comprises two pay-off and retract components symmetrically positioned below the left and right sides of the cutting device, the conductor system comprises two conductor components symmetrically positioned below the left and right sides of the cutting device, the tension system comprises two tension components symmetrically positioned below the left and right sides of the cutting device, and the wire routing system comprises two pay-off and retract components symmetrically positioned below the left and right sides of the cutting device.

[0016] Compared to the above-mentioned background technology, the present invention has the following beneficial effects. A cutting device and a multi-wire sawing machine incorporating the same are provided. By adjusting the locking position of an eccentric sleeve, the spacing between rollers can be adjusted, enabling the device to accommodate workpieces of varying sizes. Furthermore, the position of the eccentric sleeve can be easily adjusted by loosening the nut of the locking screw assembly and releasing the restraint on the support arm by the limiting mechanism. The roller position can then be adjusted by re-tightening the nut of the locking screw assembly and securing the support arm to the new position. This simple adjustment method allows for easy operation. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0024] Figure 1 shows a schematic perspective view of an alternative embodiment of a multi-wire saw. The multi-wire saw includes a frame 4, a cutting device mounted on the frame 4, a feed system 3, a wire system, a tension system, a wire routing system, a wire retracting and payout system, and a mortar bucket 5 located below the frame 4.

[0025] The cutting device is installed at the front end of the frame 4, the feeding system 3 is installed above the cutting device, the wire-retracting system consists of two wire-retracting components 8 symmetrically arranged below the left and right sides of the cutting device, the wire system consists of two wire components 6 symmetrically arranged below the left and right sides of the cutting device, the tension system consists of two tension components 7 symmetrically arranged below the left and right sides of the cutting device, and the wire-arranging system consists of two wire-arranging components 9 symmetrically arranged below the left and right sides of the cutting device.

[0026] Figure 2 shows a schematic three-dimensional structure of an optional embodiment of the frame body of the cutting device in Figure 1; Figure 3 shows a schematic decomposition of an optional embodiment of the main shaft system of the cutting device in Figure 1; Figure 4 shows a schematic cross-sectional view of an optional embodiment of the main shaft system of the cutting device in Figure 1; Figure 5 is a partial enlarged view of Figure 1, showing a part of the cutting device, including a part of the main shaft system, an eccentric sleeve, a limiting mechanism, and a support arm.

[0027] In this example, the cutting device includes a cutting head 1 and a spindle system 2, four eccentric bushings (10a, 10b, 10d, 10e) and two non-eccentric bushings (10c, 10f), the cutting head 1 has a frame body 11 and six shaft holes 111 (111a, 111b, 111c, 111d, 111e, 111f), the spindle system 2 includes three rollers 22 (22a, 22b, 22c) and three bearing box assemblies 21 and 24 (21a and 24a, 21b and 24b, 21b and 24c) for supporting the three rollers 22 1c and 24c), three locking screw assemblies 23 (23a, 23b, 23c) for locking the axial position of the roller 22, the eccentric sleeves 10a and 10b, 10d, 10e are respectively installed in the shaft holes 111a, 111b, 111d, 111e, the sleeves 10c and 10f are respectively installed in the shaft holes 111c and 111f, the eccentric sleeves 10a and 10b, 10d, 10e are respectively installed with bearing boxes 24a and 24b, 21a, 21b, and the sleeves 10c and 10f are respectively installed with bearing boxes 24c and 21c.

[0028] A support arm 101a and 101b are provided on each of the eccentric sleeves 10a and 10b, and a set of limiting mechanisms 102 are provided near each of the shaft holes 111a and 111b. Each set of limiting mechanisms 102 includes three limiting clamps (103a, 103b, 103c) and a fastener 104. After the eccentric sleeve 10a (10b) is inserted into the shaft hole 111a (111b), the support arm 101a (101b) and the limiting clamp 103a can form a limiting fit. The fastener 104 fastens the support arm 101a to the limiting clamp 103a, and the axial and radial positions of the eccentric sleeve 10a (10b) are locked. Among them, the limiting mechanism that cooperates with 101b is shown in Figures 1 and 5 but is not marked. Rollers 22a and 22b are located on the same horizontal plane, and roller 22c is located below rollers 22a and 22b. In this layout, the feed system 3 is generally arranged above the spindle system 2, and the workpiece is fed from top to bottom. In an example not shown, roller 22c can also be located above rollers 22a and 22b, in which case the feed system 3 is generally arranged below the spindle system 2. In addition, the arrangement of rollers 22a, 22b, and 22c can also be rotated as a whole based on the above, such as by 30 degrees or 60 degrees.

[0029] During operation, the limit clamp 103a (for example, the support arm 101a is limited on the limit clamp 103a in the initial state) is released, and the locking nut 232 of the corresponding locking screw assembly 23 (such as 23a) is loosened, and the eccentric sleeve 10a can be axially pulled out from the shaft hole 111a, and the eccentric sleeve 10a is rotated at an angle so that the support arm 101a on it is aligned with the limit clamp 103b or 103c, and then the eccentric sleeve 10a is axially pushed into the shaft hole 111a (locked when in place). (The nut 232 is reinstalled in place.) The support arm 101a cooperates with the limiting clamp 103b or 103c and is locked by the fastener 104. The angle of the eccentric sleeve 10a is adjusted, thereby adjusting the rotation center position of the bearing box 24a in the eccentric sleeve 10a. During this process, the eccentric sleeve 10d is pulled out of the shaft hole 111d to make corresponding adjustments, thereby simultaneously adjusting the rotation center of the bearing box 21d in the eccentric sleeve 10d, thereby adjusting the rotation center position of the roller 22a. The support arm 101a cooperates with different limiting clamps (103a, 103b, 103c) to limit the eccentric sleeve 10a to different angles.

[0030] Using the same operating method as described above, the rotation center position of roller 22b can be adjusted, and the spacing between two adjacent rollers (22a and 22b) can be increased or decreased, enabling the cutting device to adapt to a variety of workpiece sizes to be cut. Furthermore, the operation process is simple and time-saving. Furthermore, the relative position between the eccentric sleeve 10 and the shaft hole 111 is adjusted and locked by cooperating with the external support arm 101 and the external limiting mechanism 102. This is more reliable than the direct positioning method using a pin or pin, which is commonly used in the mechanical field. Because the pin hole corresponding to the pin or pin generally changes after repeated disassembly and assembly, resulting in reduced accuracy, the use of the external support arm 101 and the external limiting mechanism 102 effectively avoids this problem.

[0031] As shown in Figures 1 and 3 to 5, bearing housings 24c and 21c are mounted in two non-eccentric sleeves 10c and 10f, respectively. The rotational center position of roller 22c is unadjustable. The radial position of sleeve 10c is controlled by a locking mechanism 27, and sleeve 10f is secured in axial hole 111f. Locking mechanism 27 includes a limiting rod 272 provided on frame body 11 and a clamping block 271 provided on sleeve 10c. Clamping block 271 has a slot for engaging limiting rod 272. Both clamping block 271 and limiting rod 272 are provided in pairs and are symmetrically arranged relative to the center of sleeve 10c or 10f. The three rollers 22a, 22b, and 22c are arranged in a triangle. The width of the wire mesh can be adjusted by adjusting the spacing between rollers 22a and 22b, thereby better accommodating workpieces of varying widths.

[0032] In addition, the sleeves 10c and 10f can also be set as eccentric sleeves that are the same as the eccentric sleeves 10a or 10b (10d, 10e), and the locking mechanism 27 can be changed to a combination of a support arm and a limiting mechanism so that the rotation center position of the roller 22c can also be adjusted. In this way, the rotation center positions of the three rollers (22a, 22b, 22c) can all be adjusted, which can not only better adapt to workpieces of different widths, but also better adapt to workpieces of different heights.

[0033] As shown in Figures 1 and 3, the three rollers 22 (22a, 22b, 22c) are driven by three drivers 25 (25a, 25b, 25c). Alternatively, the three rollers 22 (22a, 22b, 22c) can be driven by two drivers 25a and 25b, respectively, with rollers 22a and 22b, and roller 22c acting as a driven element.

[0034] As shown in Figures 3 and 4, the locking screw assembly 23 includes a screw 231, a locking nut 232, and a retaining ring 233. The screw 231 axially locks the shaft ends of the roller 22, and the retaining ring 233 is installed between one shaft end of the roller 22 and the locking nut 232. The bearing housing 24 is fastened to the eccentric sleeve 10 (or the eccentric sleeve 10 can also serve as part of the housing of the bearing housing 24). The outward end of the bearing housing 24 has a capped end cap 26, which facilitates the removal and insertion of the eccentric sleeve 10.

[0035] As shown in Figures 1 to 5, the eccentric bushings 10d, 10e, and 10f are fastened to the shaft holes 111d, 111e, and 111f via fastening elements. Furthermore, in another example, the eccentric bushings 10d, 10e, and 10f can also be installed in the shaft holes 111d, 111e, and 111f in the same manner as the eccentric bushings 10a, 10b, and 10c, namely, by providing support arms 101 on the eccentric bushings 10d, 10e, and 10f and correspondingly providing a stopper mechanism 102 on the frame body 11. On this basis, in another operation method for adjusting the rotation center position of a roller 22a, the support arms 101a on the eccentric sleeve 10a at both ends of the roller 22a and the corresponding support arms on the eccentric sleeve 10d are unlocked, and the roller 22 together with the bearing boxes 21a and 24a at both ends and the eccentric sleeves 10a and 10d are axially moved by pulling out the capped end cover 26 at one end of the eccentric sleeve 10a, wherein the eccentric sleeves 10a and 10d are pulled out of the shaft holes 111a and 111d, and the eccentric sleeves 10a and 10b are rotated to the desired angle, such as aligning the support arm 101a with the limit seat 103b or 103c, and then pushing the capped end cover 26 to make the eccentric Sleeves 10a and 10d are reinserted into shaft holes 111a and 111d, respectively. The support arm 101a on eccentric sleeve 10a engages with the stopper 103b or 103c and is locked by fastener 104, while the support arm on eccentric sleeve 10d engages with the corresponding stopper and is locked by fastener. This adjusts the angles of eccentric sleeves 10a and 10d, thereby adjusting the rotational center position of roller 22a (adjusting the rotational center position of roller 22a also adjusts the web width). The rotational center positions of rollers 22b and 22c can be adjusted in the same manner. The adjustment process is essentially the same as that for roller 22a and will not be further described here. This method is simple, convenient, and time-saving to operate, significantly improving the efficiency of adjusting the rotational center position of roller 22.

[0036] With reference to Figures 1 to 5, the cutting device can also be configured to have only four eccentric bushings 10, four axial holes 111 (111b and 111c, 111e, 111f), a group of two rollers 22 (22b, 22c), two corresponding bearing box assemblies (21, 24), and two locking screw assemblies 23. That is, in this example, the cutting device includes a cutting head 1 and a spindle system 2, four eccentric bushings 10, the cutting head 1 having a frame body 11 and four axial holes 111, the spindle system 2 including a group of rollers 22 and a group of bearing box assemblies (21, 24) for supporting the group of rollers 22, and a locking screw assembly 23 for locking the axial position of the rollers 22, each of the four eccentric bushings 10 can be axially slidably installed in a respective one of the four axial holes 111, and one bearing box (21 or 24) of a group of bearing box assemblies is respectively provided in each of the four eccentric bushings 10; a support screw assembly 23 is provided on each of the four eccentric bushings 10. The support arm 101 and the frame body 11 are provided with four groups of limiting mechanisms 102, each group of limiting mechanisms 102 is combined with one of the four axial holes 11, and each group of limiting mechanisms 102 includes at least two limiting sockets 103 and fasteners 104. After the eccentric sleeve 10 is inserted into the corresponding axial hole 111, the support arm 101 and the limiting socket 103 can form a limiting fit. The fastener 104 is used to fasten the support arm 101 to the limiting socket 103. The support arm 101 cooperates with different limiting sockets (103a, 103b, 103c) in at least two limiting sockets 103 so that the eccentric sleeve 10 can be limited to different angles.

[0037] Referring to Figures 1 to 3 and 5 , each set of limiting mechanisms 102 also includes a guide rod 105. Each limiting clamp 103 (103a, 103b, 103c) has a guide mounting hole, into which the guide rod 105 is mounted. The support arm 101 has a guide hole 106 that mates with the guide rod 105. The guide rod 105 is parallel or substantially parallel to the centerline of the shaft hole 111, ensuring that the eccentric sleeve 10, which is integral with the support arm 101, does not rotate during axial movement. The guide rod 105 can be removed from one of the three limiting clamps 103 (e.g., 103a, 103b, 103c) and then installed on another limiting clamp (103b, 103c, 103a, 103c, 103a, 103b). Alternatively, the guide mounting hole can be provided directly on the frame body 11, meaning that the guide rod 105 is provided directly on the frame body 11.

[0038] Referring to Figures 1, 2, and 5, the three position-limiting brackets (103a, 103b, and 103c) are located on the same plane. Each of the three position-limiting brackets (103a, 103b, and 103c) is equidistant from the centerline of the corresponding shaft hole 111. The distance between position-limiting brackets 103a and 103b is different from the distance between position-limiting brackets 103b and 103c, but may also be the same.

[0039] Referring to Figures 1 to 5 , in one example, the position-limiting bracket 103 ( 103a , 103b , and 103c ) has a trapezoidal groove, and the support arm 101a has a trapezoidal boss that mates with the groove. This mating structure allows the position-limiting mechanism 102 to more reliably define the position of the support arm 101 and the eccentric sleeve 10. As shown in Figure 5 , the support arm 101b also has side panels on either side that clamp onto the mating position-limiting bracket, further enhancing the reliability of the position-limiting mechanism's positioning of the support arm and the eccentric sleeve.

[0040] In addition, the number of limit brackets 103 can also be 2, 4, or 5, and the number of fasteners 104 can be the same as the number of limit brackets 103 or less than the number of limit brackets 103. The number of fasteners 104 can also be 1. When adjusting, it can be removed from the limit bracket 103a and combined with the limit bracket 103b together with the support arm 101.

[0041] In one example, as shown in Figures 1 and 5, the support arm 101 is mounted on the eccentric sleeve 10 by a fastening connection. In addition, it can also be welded to the eccentric sleeve 10, or it can be fixedly connected or form an integral structure with the eccentric sleeve 10. In addition, as shown in Figures 1 and 5, a plurality of stop rods 107 are also provided on the frame body 11, one of the functions of which includes acting as a stopper, but it does not mean that it only has a stopper function, and it can also have a meaning such as a reference system; in addition, the stop rod 107 can also play the same role as the limit rod 272, and the two can also be interchangeable. As shown in Figure 2, a stop rod mounting hole 113 and a limit card mounting hole 114 are provided on the frame body 11.

[0042] FIG6 is a partial cross-sectional view of another alternative embodiment of the cutting device shown in FIG1 or FIG5 , illustrating a schematic cross-sectional view of the axial hole of the frame body and the eccentric sleeve, and embodying two different mating structures. As shown in FIG6 , an eccentric sleeve 10 is mounted in each of the two axial holes 111 of the frame body 11 , and a bearing housing (21 or 24) of the spindle system 2 is mounted in each of the two eccentric sleeves 10. Each axial hole 111 is provided with three slots 112 (112a, 112b, 112c). The eccentric sleeve 10 on the left side of FIG6 is provided with a key 108 , which engages with the slot 112a. When the eccentric sleeve 10 is axially removed from the axial hole 111 and rotated a certain angle, the key 108 engages with the slot 112b or 112c. The eccentric sleeve 10 on the right side of Figure 6 is provided with a sliding tooth 109. This sliding tooth 109 engages with the sliding groove 11a. When the eccentric sleeve 10 is axially removed from the shaft hole 111 and rotated a certain angle, the sliding tooth 109 engages with the sliding groove 112b or 112c. When the sliding key 108 is combined with the sliding grooves 112a, 112b, or 112c, the radial angle of the eccentric sleeve 10 is limited to three different positions, and the eccentric sleeve 10 does not rotate during axial movement. When the sliding tooth 109 is combined with the sliding grooves 112a, 112b, or 112c, the radial angle of the eccentric sleeve 10 is limited to three different positions, and the eccentric sleeve 10 does not rotate during axial movement. Furthermore, the number of sliding grooves 112 on each shaft hole 111 can be two, four, or more. In addition, referring to FIG. 6 , the two eccentric bushings 10 in the figure that cooperate with the sliding groove 112 can be set to both be sliding keys 108 or both be sliding teeth 109 .

[0043] 6 in combination with FIG3 and FIG4 , in one example, a group of rollers in the spindle system 2 is composed of two rollers 22 , four bearing boxes ( 21 , 24 ), and two locking screw assemblies 23 .

[0044] Referring to Figure 2 , the cutting device further includes a wire breakage protection component 12 and a filter component 13. The wire breakage protection component 12 comprises four wire breakage protection assemblies mounted within the cutting head 1 and arranged in front of and behind a set of rollers 22. The filter component 13 is mounted on the bottom of the frame body 11. Figure 2 illustrates one of the wire breakage protection components 12; the other three components are not shown because they are obscured by other parts of the frame body 11. However, they are arranged symmetrically around the left and right sides of a set of rollers 22 and also symmetrically with respect to the mid-plane of the rollers 22.

[0045] The foregoing detailed description is intended to be illustrative rather than limiting. The scope of the invention should, therefore, be determined with reference to the appended claims, along with the full scope of equivalents to which such claims are entitled.
