Abstract
Description
Surgical sutures for lifting
[0001] This application claims priority to Korean Patent Application No. 10-2023-0111582, filed on August 24, 2023, and all contents disclosed in the specification and drawings of the said application are incorporated herein by reference.
[0002] The present invention relates to a surgical suture for lifting, and more particularly, to a surgical suture for lifting that can prevent dimpling that occurs after a cosmetic procedure, particularly a thread lifting procedure.
[0003] Typically, the human facial skin ages over time, stretching and sagging, leading to wrinkles. Methods to prevent aging and restore facial skin to its natural state include minor injection treatments like Botox and fillers, various thread lifting procedures, and surgical facelifts.
[0004] Here, the problem is that although Botox and fillers are somewhat effective in removing wrinkles and filling in sunken areas, they have minimal lifting effect to lift and tighten aged skin.
[0005] In addition, surgical procedures such as facelifts have the problem of requiring a long recovery time due to the invasive method of entering the body's tissues, such as making incisions in the facial skin.
[0006] Therefore, the thread lifting procedure is preferred as it has relatively few external signs, is less invasive, and has a quick recovery, making it easy to return to daily life.
[0007] Thread lifting is a procedure that involves inserting a lifting suture into the subcutaneous layer of sagging or loose skin and then pulling the skin in the desired direction to lift it.
[0008] At this time, the area where the lifting suture is inserted is prevented from wrinkles and sagging skin by the tensile force of the thorns (thorn-shaped protrusions) formed on the lifting suture, and collagen that enhances skin elasticity is increased within the dermis, thereby improving skin elasticity.
[0009] However, in the case of conventional lifting sutures, there is a problem that dimpling occurs when the skin is pinched by the barbed part during the process of pulling the lifting suture.
[0010] Accordingly, the technical problem to be achieved by the present invention is to provide a surgical suture for lifting that can prevent dimpling, a phenomenon in which the skin is pinched during a lifting procedure.
[0011] In addition, it provides a surgical suture for lifting that can reduce pain while enhancing the function of lifting.
[0012] In addition, the present invention provides a surgical suture for lifting that can enhance the volume-increasing effect by promoting collagen formation along with lifting function.
[0013] However, the technical problems to be solved by the present invention are not limited to the problems described above, and other problems not mentioned can be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description of the invention described below.
[0014] According to one aspect of the present invention, a surgical suture for lifting may be provided, comprising: a thread body having a needle coupled to at least one of both ends; a plurality of protrusions formed on the thread body so as to protrude from the thread body; a plurality of stopper parts respectively coupled to the plurality of protrusions; and a plurality of controllers having a through hole formed therein, the controllers being arranged between the plurality of stopper parts in the thread body by the through hole, the stopper parts selectively passing through the through hole, and the protrusions also passing through the through hole when the stopper parts pass through the through hole.
[0015] In one embodiment, the controller may be configured to move between any first stopper portion among the plurality of stopper portions and a second stopper portion positioned adjacent to the first stopper portion.
[0016] In one embodiment, the size of the through hole of the controller may be formed to be the same or different from one end to the other end.
[0017] In one embodiment, the through hole may include a first outer hole formed on an outer side of one of the controllers; an inner hole formed on an inner side of the controller and connected to the first outer hole; and a second outer hole formed on an outer side of the controller so as to be positioned in an opposite direction to the first outer hole.
[0018] In one embodiment, the size may decrease from the first outer hole through the inner hole to the second outer hole.
[0019] In one embodiment, the size may increase from the first outer hole through the inner hole to the second outer hole.
[0020] In one embodiment, the sizes of the first outer hole, the inner hole, and the second outer hole may all be the same.
[0021] In one embodiment, the controller may have a truncated cone shape.
[0022] In one embodiment, the stopper portion may be smaller than the first outer hole, but larger than the inner hole.
[0023] In one embodiment, the stopper portion may be smaller than the first outer hole, but may be the same as the inner hole.
[0024] In one embodiment, the stopper portion may be smaller than the first outer hole and smaller than the inner hole.
[0025] In one embodiment, the stopper portion may be smaller than the second outer hole.
[0026] In one embodiment, the stopper portion may be larger than the first outer hole.
[0027] In one embodiment, the stopper portion may have the same size as the first outer hole.
[0028] In one embodiment, the stopper part is made of an elastic material, and after the stopper part is caught on the controller, it can pass through the controller while being elastically deformed by an applied force.
[0029] In one embodiment, when the stopper portion passes through the controller, the protrusion portion can also pass through the controller.
[0030] In one embodiment, the protrusions are provided in a pair, and the pair of protrusions extend from the stopper portion to have a preset angle and can be formed symmetrically with respect to the actual body.
[0031] In one embodiment, the angle may be reduced as the pair of protrusions pass through the controller.
[0032] In one embodiment, the cross-sectional shape of the stopper part may be formed into a square, circle, or oval, and the through hole of the controller may have a shape corresponding to the cross-sectional shape of the stopper part.
[0033] In one embodiment, the actual body and the controller may be made of the same material or different materials.
[0034] In one embodiment, when the actual body and the controller are made of different materials, the actual body may be PLLA (poly-L-lactic-acid) and the controller may be PCL (polycaprolactone).
[0035] In one embodiment, when the actual body and the controller are made of different materials, the actual body may be polycaprolactone (PCL) and the controller may be poly-L-lactic-acid (PLLA).
[0036] Embodiments of the present invention have the effect of preventing the dimpling phenomenon in which the skin is pinched during a lifting procedure.
[0037] Additionally, the lifting function is strengthened while pain is reduced.
[0038] Additionally, it has the effect of promoting collagen formation by using different materials, and increasing the volume of sunken areas along with lifting functions.
[0039] Additionally, in producing products, it has the effect of reducing manual labor, enabling automation, shortening the production period, and enabling mass production, thereby lowering the production cost.
[0040] However, the effects that can be obtained through the present invention are not limited to the effects described above, and other technical effects not mentioned can be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description of the invention described below.

[0057] FIG. 1 is a schematic view showing a lifting surgical suture according to a first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a view showing a state in which a needle is coupled to a thread body in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a controller in the lifting surgical suture of FIG. 1, FIG. 4 is a perspective view of a stopper part coupled to a plurality of protrusions in the lifting surgical suture of FIG. 1, and a controller, FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a stopper part coupled to a plurality of protrusions in the lifting surgical suture according to a modified embodiment of FIG. 4, and a controller, and FIG. 6 is a perspective view of a stopper part coupled to a plurality of protrusions in the lifting surgical suture according to another modified embodiment of FIG. 4, and a controller.
[0058] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 6, a surgical suture (10) for lifting according to the first embodiment of the present invention includes a main body (100), a protrusion (200), a stopper (300), and a controller (400).
[0059] The thread body (100) is a thread inserted into the skin of a human body, for example, the human face, for a lifting procedure. Here, the lifting procedure refers to a procedure in which a lifting surgical suture (10) is inserted into the subcutaneous layer of sagging or loose skin, and then the skin is pulled and lifted in a desired direction to maintain taut aged skin.
[0060] Referring to FIG. 2, the thread body (100) is connected to a needle (500) at least on one of both ends. Then, the needle (500) penetrates, for example, the skin of a human face, and lifting is performed while the thread body (100) connected to the needle (500) remains on the facial skin. A detailed description of the lifting procedure will be provided below (see FIG. 16 below).
[0061] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a body (100) is provided with protrusions (200) protruding from the body (100), for example, a plurality of protrusions (200a, 200b, 200c). In addition, stopper parts (300b, 300c) are coupled and fixed to the body (100), each of which is coupled to the protrusions (200b, 200c). In addition, a controller (400) is arranged in the body (100) so as to be movable between the stopper parts (300), for example, a first stopper part (300b) and a second stopper part (300c).
[0062] A plurality of protrusions (200) are formed on the body (100) so as to protrude from the body (100). The protrusions (200) may be manufactured integrally with the body (100), but are not necessarily limited thereto.
[0063] And, referring to FIGS. 1 and 4, the protrusion (200) is coupled to the stopper (300). Referring to FIG. 1, a plurality of protrusions (200b, 200c) are coupled to a plurality of stopper parts (300), for example, a first stopper part (300b) and a second stopper part (300c), respectively. That is, the protrusion (200b) is coupled to the first stopper part (300b), and the protrusion (200c) is coupled to the second stopper part (300c). The plurality of protrusions (200a, 200b, 200c) are coupled to the main body (100) while being spaced apart from each other. Here, referring to FIG. 1, the stopper parts (300) may not be coupled to the protrusions (200a) located at both ends of the main body (100).
[0064] The protrusions (200) may have various shapes. For example, referring to FIG. 7, the protrusions (200) are provided in pairs, and a pair of protrusions (210, 220) extend from the stopper portion (300) at a preset angle (θ1), and may be formed symmetrically with respect to the main body (100).
[0065] That is, a pair of protrusions (210, 220) can be formed in a thorn shape so as to be separated from each other by the stopper portion (300). However, the shape of the protrusions (200) described above is only one embodiment and is not limited to the above shape.
[0066] When a pair of protrusions (210, 220) are formed in the aforementioned thorn shape, a dimpling phenomenon may occur in which the skin is pinched by the pair of thorn-shaped protrusions (210, 220) during the process of pulling the actual body (100).
[0067] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, in order to prevent such dimpling phenomenon, the surgical suture (10) for lifting according to the first embodiment of the present invention is provided with a plurality of stopper parts (300) and also with a plurality of controllers (400). The stopper part (300) can selectively pass through a through hole (410, see FIGS. 3 and 4) formed in the controller (400). When the stopper part (300) passes through the through hole (410), a pair of protrusions (210, 220) coupled to the stopper part (300) also passes through the through hole (410), and at this time, the angle (θ1, see FIG. 7) formed by the pair of protrusions (210, 220) decreases (see θ2 of FIG. 10). That is, a pair of protrusions (210, 220) that are separated from each other in a thorn shape are folded while passing through the controller (400) through the through hole (410) (see θ2 in FIG. 10), thereby eliminating skin irritation caused by the pair of protrusions (210, 220), and ultimately preventing the dimpling phenomenon.
[0068] Referring to FIG. 1, a plurality of protrusions (200a, 200b, 200c) may be formed at regular intervals on the actual body (100). However, the plurality of protrusions (200a, 200b, 200c) do not necessarily have to have regular intervals, and the intervals of the plurality of protrusions (200a, 200b, 200c) may be different from each other as needed.
[0069] The material of the protrusion (200) may be the same as that of the actual body (100), but may also be made of a different material.
[0070] A plurality of stopper parts (300) are formed and are respectively coupled to a plurality of protrusion parts (200a, 200b, 200c). The stopper parts (300) can be formed in various shapes, and for example, can have an elliptical cross-section as shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, but the shape of the stopper parts (300) is not limited thereto.
[0071] For example, the cross-sectional shape of the stopper part (300) may be formed as a square, circle, or triangle, and the through hole (410) of the controller (400) may have a shape corresponding to the cross-sectional shape of the stopper part (300). However, for convenience of explanation, the first embodiment will describe a case where the cross-sectional shape of the stopper part (300) is oval, and the second embodiment described below will describe a case where the cross-sectional shape of the stopper part (300) is square.
[0072] The stopper part (300) can be made of an elastic material. When the real body (100) is pulled, the stopper part (300) coupled to the real body (100) moves toward the controller (400) and is caught by the controller (400). Here, if the force pulling the real body (100) is less than a preset size, the stopper part (300) does not pass through the controller (400).
[0073] However, if a skin pinching phenomenon occurs due to a pair of protrusions (210, 220), and the force pulling the main body (100) of the main body (100) is greater than a preset size by pulling the main body (100) more strongly, the stopper part (300) can pass through the controller (400) as it is elastically deformed by the force applied to the stopper part (300).
[0074] Here, when the stopper part (300) passes through the controller (400), the protrusion part (200) coupled to the stopper part (300) also passes through the controller (400) together with the stopper part (300).
[0075] To explain this again, as in Fig. 1, a controller (400) is placed between a plurality of stopper parts (300), for example, a first stopper part (300b) and a second stopper part (300c).
[0076] The first stopper part (300b) and the second stopper part (300c) normally prevent the controller (400) from going over the first stopper part (300b) and the second stopper part (300c). That is, unless a force greater than a preset size is applied, the controller (400) is caught by the stopper part (300) and cannot go over the stopper part (300).
[0077] However, when a force equal to or greater than the preset force is applied, the stopper part (300) passes through the through hole (410) formed in the controller (400). At this time, the protrusion (200) coupled to the stopper part (300) also passes through the through hole (410) formed in the controller (400) together with the stopper part (300).
[0078] And, as the protrusion (200) passes through the through hole (410) formed in the controller (400), a pair of protrusions (210, 220) that are spread out in a thorn shape are folded. And, by this, the dimpling shape, which is a skin pinching phenomenon caused by the pair of protrusions (210, 220), can be resolved.
[0079] The controller (400) is configured to form through holes (410) of various shapes. And, as in FIG. 1, the controller (400) can be arranged between a plurality of stopper parts (300), for example, a first stopper part (300b) and a second stopper part (300c), in the real body (100) by the through holes (410, see FIG. 3 or FIG. 4). That is, when the real body (100) passes through the through holes (410) of the controller (400), the controller (400) can move between the first stopper part (300b) and the second stopper part (300c) of the real body (100).
[0080] As described above, the through hole (410) formed in the controller (400) is provided so that the stopper part (300) can selectively pass through it. That is, the stopper part (300) can selectively pass through the through hole (410). In addition, when the stopper part (300) passes through the through hole (410) of the controller (400), the protrusion (200) coupled to the stopper part (300) also passes through the through hole (410).
[0081] Here, selective passage means that the stopper part (300) does not normally pass through the through hole (410) formed in the controller (400), but when a force equal to or greater than a preset force is applied, the stopper part (300) passes through the through hole (410) formed in the controller (400).
[0082] Referring to FIG. 1, the controller (400) is movable in the main body (100) as described above, and in particular, is arranged to move between any first stopper portion (300b) among a plurality of stopper portions (300) coupled to the main body (100) and a second stopper portion (300c) positioned adjacent to the first stopper portion (300b). And, as described above, in a typical case, the controller (400) is caught by the stopper portion (300) and cannot go beyond the stopper portion (300).
[0083] The controller (400) can play a role in keeping aged skin taut, such as with multiple protrusions (200a, 200b, 200c), when tissues are adhered after the first lifting procedure. That is, the large surface area of the controller (400) can effectively support a large amount of tissue, and since it can withstand double pulling together with the protrusions (200), slippage is prevented, thereby enhancing the lifting function and improving durability.
[0084] The size of the through hole (410) formed in the controller (400) may be the same or different from one end to the other end. For example, referring to FIG. 3, the size of the through hole (410) is different from one end to the other end of the controller (400), but is not limited thereto.
[0085] That is, as described below, even when the stopper part (300) is made of an elastic material and the size of the through hole (410) of the controller (400) is the same, if the stopper part (300) can pass through the through hole (410) of the controller (400) due to elastic deformation of the stopper part (300), the size of the through hole (410) of the controller (400) can become the same from one end to the other end.
[0086] Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the through hole (410) formed in the controller (400) may include a first outer hole (411), an inner hole (412), and a second outer hole (413). Here, the controller (400) may have a cone shape with a truncated upper portion, but is not limited thereto.
[0087] In one embodiment of FIG. 4, the size (here, diameter) is configured to decrease from the first outer hole (411) to the inner hole (412) and then to the second outer hole (413), but this is not limited thereto.
[0088] Referring to FIG. 5 as a modified embodiment of FIG. 4, the sizes of the first outer hole (411), the inner hole (412), and the second outer hole (413) may all be the same. In addition, referring to FIG. 6 as another modified embodiment of FIG. 4, the sizes may increase from the first outer hole (411) to the inner hole (412) to the second outer hole (413). If the stopper part (300) is made of an elastic material, even if the controller (400) has a shape as in FIGS. 5 and 6, the stopper part (300) can selectively penetrate the through hole (410) formed in the controller (400). FIG. 6 will be described later.
[0089] Referring to Fig. 3, the first outer hole (411) is formed on one outer side of the controller (400). In addition, the inner hole (412) is connected to the first outer hole (411) and is formed on the inner side of the controller (400). That is, the inner hole (412) is formed between the first outer hole (411) and the second outer hole (413). In addition, the second outer hole (413) is formed on the outer side of the controller (400) so as to be located in the opposite direction of the first outer hole (411).
[0090] Here, the stopper part (300) may have various sizes to correspond to the through hole (410) of the controller (400). For example, referring to FIG. 4, the stopper part (300) may be configured to be smaller than the first outer hole (411) but larger than the inner hole (412). In this case, if the real body (100) is pulled with a force smaller than the preset force, the stopper part (300) moves and enters the first outer hole (411), but is caught in the inner hole (412) and cannot pass through the through hole (410).
[0091] However, if the actual body (100) is pulled with a force greater than the preset force, the stopper part (300) made of elastic material can be elastically deformed and pass through the through hole (410).
[0092] In a modified embodiment, referring to FIG. 5, the stopper portion (300) may be smaller than the first outer hole (411), but may be the same as the inner hole (412). In another modified embodiment, referring to FIG. 6, the stopper portion (300) may be provided to be smaller than the first outer hole (411) and smaller than the inner hole (412). In yet another modified embodiment, the stopper portion (300) may be smaller than the first outer hole (411), smaller than the inner hole (412), and smaller than the second outer hole (413).
[0093] In actual use, when performing a procedure inside the human body, if the actual main body (100) is pulled, the actual main body (100) does not move exactly to the center of the through hole (410) of the controller (400), but moves up and down or left and right based on the center of the through hole (410). Therefore, even in the various modified embodiments described above, for example, in the embodiment where the stopper part (300) is smaller than the first outer hole (411), smaller than the inner hole (412), and smaller than the second outer hole (413), the stopper part (300) can function as a stopper by touching the inner surface of the controller (400) to prevent the controller (400) from passing through the stopper part (300). Therefore, the size of the stopper part (300) can vary.
[0094] Meanwhile, in another modified embodiment, referring to FIG. 6, the stopper portion (300) may be provided to be larger than the first outer hole (411).
[0095] If the stopper part (300) is larger than the first outer hole (411), the stopper part (300) is caught in the first outer hole (411) and cannot be drawn into the through hole (410). However, as described above, if the stopper part (300) is made of an elastic material, even if the stopper part (300) is larger than the first outer hole (411), if the actual body (100) is pulled with a force greater than a preset force, the stopper part (300) can be elastically deformed and pass through the through hole (410).
[0096] And, in another modified embodiment, the stopper part (300) may have the same size as the first outer hole (411). In this way, even when the stopper part (300) has the same size as the first outer hole (411), when the actual body (100) is pulled with a force greater than a preset force, the stopper part (300) can pass through the through hole (410) while being elastically deformed.
[0097] Meanwhile, the actual body (100) may be manufactured as a biodegradable material that is biodegradable in the body, or as a non-degradable or non-absorbable material that is not biodegradable. Furthermore, the controller (400) is preferably composed of a biodegradable polymer capable of maximizing collagen regeneration, but is not limited thereto.
[0098] For example, the actual body (100) can be made of an absorbent polymer or a non-absorbent polymer. For example, it can be made of PLLA (poly-L-lactic-acid), which is an L-type of polylactic acid, a biodegradable material, PLGA (polylactic-glycolic acid) synthesized by mixing glycolic acid with polylactic acid, PDO (polydioxanone), PCL (polycaprolactone), etc.
[0099] PLLA is hard and long-lasting. PLGA reduces hardness, minimizing foreign body sensation. PDO is soft to the touch and has minimal foreign body sensation. PCL (polycaprolactone) is low in hardness, has a good collagen formation response, and has a long lasting life of approximately two years.
[0100] Here, the actual body (100) and the controller (400) may be manufactured from the same material, or may be manufactured from different materials. For example, when the actual body (100) and the controller (400) are made from different materials, the actual body (100) may be PLLA (poly-L-lactic-acid), and the controller (400) may be PCL (polycaprolactone). Alternatively, when the actual body (100) and the controller (400) are made from different materials, the actual body (100) may be PCL (polycaprolactone), and the controller (400) may be PLLA (poly-L-lactic-acid). Alternatively, the actual body may be manufactured by mixing various biodegradable materials such as PLGA or PDO.
[0101] However, the material of the actual body (100) and controller (400) is not limited to this.
[0102] Figures 7 to 12 are drawings illustrating the process in which the stopper part in Figure 1 passes through the through hole of the controller.
[0103] Referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, the stopper part (300) is inserted into the controller (400) through the first outer hole (411) of the controller (400). At this time, the size of the first outer hole (411) is larger than the size of the stopper part (300). Therefore, the stopper part (300) can be easily inserted into the first outer hole (411) (see FIG. 8).
[0104] Referring to Fig. 9, the stopper part (300) is caught in the inner hole (412) of the controller (400). At this time, if the actual body (100) is pulled with a force less than the preset force, the stopper part (300) does not pass through the through hole (410) of the controller (400).
[0105] However, when the actual body (100) is pulled with a force exceeding the preset force, the stopper part (300) is elastically deformed as in FIG. 10 and is completely pulled outward from the controller (400) through the second outer hole (413) as in FIG. 11. FIG. 12 shows a state in which the stopper part (300) is pulled outward from the controller (400) so that two controllers (400) exist between the two stopper parts (300).
[0106] At this time, a pair of protrusions (210, 220) that are connected to the stopper (300) and spread out in a thorn shape are bent as they pass through the controller (400). And, as described above, the dimpling phenomenon is resolved.
[0107] To explain again, the stopper part (300) is introduced into the controller (400) through the first outer hole (411), and is withdrawn from the controller (400) through the inner hole (412) and the second outer hole (413). That is, the stopper part (300) introduced into the inner hole (412) through the first outer hole (411) is withdrawn to the outside of the controller (400) through the second outer hole (413). At this time, the protrusion part (200) coupled to the stopper part (300) is also introduced into the inner hole (412) through the first outer hole (411) and then withdrawn to the outside of the controller (400) through the second outer hole (413).
[0108] Here, as shown in FIG. 9, a pair of protrusions (210, 220) that are formed in a thorn shape pass through the first outer hole (411), the inner hole (412), and the second outer hole (413) and come into contact with the inner surface of the controller (400). As shown in FIG. 9, the diameter of the controller (400) decreases from the first outer hole (411) to the inner hole (412) and to the second outer hole (413), so as shown in FIG. 10, the pair of protrusions (210, 220) that pass through the through hole (410) are gradually folded. In addition, the dimpling phenomenon is eliminated thereby.
[0109] Meanwhile, referring to FIG. 1, before the stopper part (300) passes through the through hole (410) of the controller (400), one controller (400) is positioned between each of two stopper parts (300). For example, in FIG. 1, one controller (400) is positioned between the first stopper part (300b) and the second stopper part (300c).
[0110] However, if one of the stopper parts (300) passes through the through hole (410) of the controller (400) through the process of FIGS. 7 to 11, two controllers (400) exist between the two stopper parts (300), as in FIG. 12.
[0111] Figures 13 to 17 are drawings illustrating the process in which the stopper part of Figure 6 passes through the through hole of the controller.
[0112] Referring to Figure 6, the size increases from the first outer hole (411) to the inner hole (412) and to the second outer hole (413).
[0113] Referring to Fig. 13, the size of the first outer hole (411) is smaller than the size of the stopper part (300). However, when the stopper part (300) is made of an elastic material, referring to Figs. 14 and 15, the stopper part (300) can be elastically deformed and introduced into the inside of the controller (400) through the first outer hole (411). In addition, a pair of protrusions (210, 220) coupled to the stopper part (300) also pass through the controller (400) and come into contact with the controller (400) to be bent, thereby eliminating the dimpling phenomenon. In addition, as shown in Fig. 16, the stopper part (300) and the pair of protrusions (210, 220) are drawn out to the outside of the controller (400) through the second outer hole (413).
[0114] Meanwhile, as described in the aforementioned FIG. 12, when one stopper part (300) passes through the through hole (410) of the controller (400) through the process of FIG. 13 to FIG. 16, two controllers (400) exist between the two stopper parts (300), as in FIG. 17.
[0115] FIG. 18 is a drawing schematically illustrating a process of performing a lifting procedure on human facial skin using a lifting surgical suture according to the first embodiment of the present invention.
[0116] Referring to Fig. 18, a pair of needles (500) attached to the thread body (100) pass through the facial skin and enter the subcutaneous layer or the underlying fascia layer (SMAS). In Fig. 16, the remaining portion (150) of the needle (500) and the thread body (100) is removed using scissors or the like, leaving behind the starting point (P1) and the end point (P2) that penetrates the skin.
[0117] That is, only the surgical suture (10) for lifting between the starting point (P1) and the end point (P2) remains in the human body. Meanwhile, before the pair of needles (500) are removed, when the pair of needles (500) are pulled, a tensile force is generated by the protrusions (200), and the skin is pulled by this tensile force, thereby performing lifting.
[0118] However, in this case, a dimpling phenomenon may occur in which the skin is pinched by a pair of thorn-shaped protrusions (210, 220).
[0119] Here, the operator can adjust the stopper part (300) to pass through the through hole (410) of the controller (400) by appropriately pulling the starting point (P1) portion and a pair of needles (500).
[0120] At this time, the stopper part (300) passes through the through hole (410) of the controller (400), and the protrusion part (200) coupled to the stopper part (300) also passes through the through hole (410), so that the pair of protrusion parts (210, 220) gradually bend and the dimpling phenomenon can be resolved.
[0121] FIG. 19 is a schematic drawing showing a lifting surgical suture according to a second embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 20 is a perspective view of a controller in the lifting surgical suture of FIG. 19, and FIG. 21 is a perspective view of a stopper part coupled to a plurality of protrusions in the lifting surgical suture of FIG. 19 and a controller.
[0122] The second embodiment of the present invention differs from the first embodiment in the shape of the stopper portion (300). The common elements described in the first embodiment are replaced by the description of the first embodiment. Furthermore, elements described in the second embodiment that are applicable to the first embodiment may also be applied to the first embodiment.
[0123] Referring to FIGS. 19 and 21, the stopper portion (300) has a rectangular cross-sectional shape. In addition, referring to FIGS. 20 and 21, the through hole (410) formed in the controller (400) to correspond to the shape of the stopper portion (300) also has a rectangular cross-sectional shape.
[0124] In the second embodiment, the stopper part (300) also normally prevents the controller (400) from passing through the stopper part (300). That is, unless a preset force is applied, the controller (400) is caught by the stopper part (300) and cannot pass over the stopper part (300).
[0125] However, when a force equal to or greater than the preset force is applied, the stopper part (300) elastically deforms and passes through the through hole (410) formed in the controller (400).
[0126] In addition, the second embodiment requires not only a preset force but also a matching shape. Unlike the first embodiment, the second embodiment can apply the lock's coupling principle. That is, the cross-sectional shape of the stopper part (300) and the cross-sectional shape of the through hole (410) formed in the controller (400) must match, for example, in a square shape, to enable passage. However, the cross-sectional shape of the stopper part (300) and the cross-sectional shape of the through hole (410) formed in the controller (400) are not limited to a square and may be more diverse.
[0127] Specifically, when the operator aligns the stopper part (300) with the through hole (410) of the controller (400) by fine adjustment as described above and then pulls it with a force greater than the preset force, the stopper part (300) passes through the through hole (410) of the controller (400).
[0128] At this time, the protrusion (200) coupled to the stopper (300) also passes through the through hole (410) formed in the controller (400) together with the stopper (300), and a pair of protrusions (210, 220) that are spread out in a thorn shape are folded while passing through the through hole (410). In addition, by this, the skin pinching caused by the protrusion (20) can be resolved, and the dimpling phenomenon can be eliminated.
[0129] The lifting surgical suture (10) according to each embodiment of the present invention is recognized to have the following effects.
[0130] First, it has the effect of preventing the dimpling phenomenon that occurs when the skin is pinched during a lifting procedure.
[0131] In addition, when only a thorn-shaped protrusion (200) exists on the actual body (100), when the actual body (100) is pulled, the thorn-shaped protrusion (200) may dig into the skin tissue and cause pain. However, the lifting surgical suture (10) according to each embodiment of the present invention is capable of distributing the force of the thorn-shaped protrusion (200) and the streamlined controller (400), so that the lifting function is enhanced while pain is reduced.
[0132] Additionally, the use of different materials can promote collagen formation and increase volume, along with lifting functions. For example, if the controller (400) is made of a biodegradable material that maximizes collagen formation, unlike the actual body (100), the rejuvenation effect, which is the primary purpose of lifting, can be maximized.
[0133] In addition, in producing the product, it can be manufactured by a method such as injection molding using a mold or molding by press processing, and since the controller for each section can pass through the stopper section, there is an effect of reducing manual work, enabling automation, reducing the production period, and enabling mass production, thereby lowering the production cost. At this time, the actual body (100) can be manufactured integrally with the protrusion (200) and the stopper (300), but is not necessarily limited thereto.
[0134] In this specification, when terms indicating directions such as up, down, left, and right are used, these terms are only for convenience of explanation, and it is obvious to those skilled in the art that these terms may vary depending on the location of the target object or the location of the observer.
[0135] Although the present invention has been described above with reference to limited embodiments and drawings, the present invention is not limited thereto, and various modifications and variations are possible by those skilled in the art within the scope of the technical spirit of the present invention and the equivalent scope of the claims to be described below. Therefore, the embodiments disclosed above should be considered from an illustrative rather than a restrictive perspective. In other words, the true scope of the technical spirit of the present invention is set forth in the claims, and all differences within the scope of equivalents thereof should be construed as being included in the present invention.
[0136] The present invention relates to a surgical suture for lifting, and is particularly applicable to industries related to lifting surgery.
