Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTION
[0002] A BRANCH GRINDING APPARATUS THAT CAN BE USED WITH CONSTRUCTION MACHINES
[0003] Field of the Invention
[0004] The present invention relates to a branch grinding apparatus.
[0005] In particular, the invention relates to a PTO-fed branch grinding apparatus which is used at the front and rear of a construction machine, which adjusts the shaft angle between the PTO (Power take off) output and the shaft of the branch grinding apparatus, and which enables installation on different machines.
[0006] State of the Art
[0007] Today, there are machines for wood and branch grinding. Such machines are generally used by being integrated into a construction machine, tractor or similar vehicles.
[0008] The branch grinding machines used in the state of the art are PTO (Power take off) fed. Above-mentioned PTO transfers the power received from the engine to the branch grinding apparatus. PTO output differs characteristically according to the configuration of the machine such as construction machine, tractor, etc. The branch grinding apparatus to be used is provided to the user with the appropriate shaft length and angle according to the machine to be installed. This makes it difficult to use the branch grinding apparatus in different machines. Therefore, there are disadvantages associated with the use of the PTO-fed branch grinding apparatus in the state of the art, in particular due to the inability to adjust the shaft angle between the PTO (Power take off) output and the shaft of the branch grinding apparatus. As a result, a branch grinding device with adjustable shaft angle, which can be used in the field without the need for additional tools, is required.
[0009] As a result of the researches made on the subject, document No CN217395213U is encountered. The document relates to the field of wood chipping machines, in particular to a wood chipper with adjustable uniform feed. In the state of the art, an attachment and a machine for feeding and chipping wood of different thicknesses are mentioned; however, there is no structure in which the shaft angle is adjusted and the cutting section moves up and down. As a result of the research made on the subject, another document No US10507469B2 is encountered. The relevant document relates to wood chippers. Although the state of the art includes a wood chipper attachment that can be lifted to different heights to be aligned to a tractor, there is no skid system to adjust the shaft angle and provide up and down movement.
[0010] As a result due to the abovementioned disadvantages and the insufficiency of the current solutions regarding the subject matter, a development is required to be made in the relevant technical field.
[0011] Object of the Invention
[0012] The present invention aims to solve the abovementioned disadvantages by being inspired from the current conditions.
[0013] The main object of the present invention is to provide a branch grinding apparatus with PTO (Power take off) feed, used in the front and rear of the construction machine, adjusting the shaft angle between the PTO output and the branch grinding apparatus shaft, so that it can be used in different machines.
[0014] Another object of the present invention is to enable up and down movement of the cutting part in the branch grinding system by means of a jack and slide system. This eliminates the need to use additional tools in the field.
[0015] Another object of the present invention is to provide a branch grinding apparatus which can be used in front of or behind a construction machine.
[0016] In order to fulfil the abovementioned aims, the invention is a branch grinding apparatus of the present invention comprising,
[0017] • A branch grinding carcass that carries the mechanism and allows it to be connected to the construction machine,
[0018] • A branch grinding mechanism with the necessary feeding and cutting mechanisms for branch grinding,

[0054] Detailed Description of the Invention
[0055] In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the inventive branch grinding apparatus (1) is described by means of examples only for clarifying the subject matter.
[0056] The branch grinding apparatus basically consists of a branch grinding mechanism and branch feeding mechanism. The branch grinding apparatus (1) mentioned in the invention shown in Figures 1 to 5 can be used with construction machines. Here, the branch grinding apparatus (1) comprises a branch grinding carcass (6) which carries the mechanism and enables the same to be connected to the construction machine (2), a branch grinding mechanism (19) which contains the feeding and cutting mechanisms required for branch grinding, a branch feeding mechanism (5) which takes the branch according to the thickness of the branch and advances it to the branch grinding mechanism (19), and a shaft (15) which enables the branch grinding apparatus (1) to be connected to the front or rear of the construction machine (2) and to transfer power between them. The most important and distinctive feature of the subject of the invention is the lifting mechanism (7) and movement slides (8). The lifting mechanism (7) provides up and down movement of the branch grinding mechanism (19) and adjusts the angle of the shaft (15). Said lifting mechanism is a jack consisting of a threaded shaft and mechanism. Movement slides support the lifting mechanism and facilitate the movement of the branch grinding mechanism (19), which moves with the lifting mechanism (7). In one embodiment of the invention, there is a sliding element (11) placed on the movement slides (8) and facilitating sliding on the metal. Said sliding element is chestamite material.
[0057] The branch grinding apparatus (1) subject to the invention also contains height adjustment holes (10) that enable the branch grinding apparatus (1) to be fixed, whose shaft (15) angle is adjusted by moving it up or down. In addition, the branch feeding mechanism (5) includes the feeding mechanism spring (13) which provides the pressure on the branch during feeding and the spring tension adjustment plate (12) which provides the balancing of the tension value of the feeding mechanism spring (13) according to the current position of the mechanism adjusted according to the shaft (15) by means of the holes thereon. In addition, there is a feed height adjustment channel (14) that allows the branch feeding mechanism (5) to move up or down according to the branch size during feeding. There is a fork opening (18) at the bottom of the branch grinding apparatus of the invention to enable it to be easily transported from one place to another by means of a forklift.
[0058] As can be seen in the side detail views of the invention, the inventive branch grinding apparatus (1) comprises a feed adjustment bolt (20) for adjusting the branch feeding mechanism (5) for the first entry distance and a abutment plate (21) on which said feed adjustment bolt (20) rests. It further comprises a hydromotor (22) for rotation of the branch feeding mechanism and a feeding drum (23) which, by rotation, draws the branches from the branch feeding mechanism (5) to the cutting part of the branch grinding mechanism (19). The fixing of the branch grinding apparatus (1), which is connected to the front or rear of the construction machine (2) and whose shaft angle is adjusted, is provided by three suspension connections (9).
[0059] Operating principle;
[0060] In the branch grinding apparatus (1) which is the subject of the invention, the shifting process is done manually with the help of the lever on the lifting mechanism (7). After positioning, bolts are attached to the height adjustment holes (10). After this process is completed, the feed mechanism spring (13) in the spring branch feed mechanism (5) is attached to the spring tension adjustment plate (12) according to the new height. With this setting, the tension of the feed mechanism spring (13) is brought to the appropriate value. Holes have been drilled in the tension adjustment plate (2) so that the tension of the feed mechanism spring (13) is equal to the level of the height adjustment hole (10).
[0061] The feeding gap is adjusted according to the branch size with the feed adjustment bolt (20) located on the branch feeding mechanism (5) in the branch grinding apparatus (1) of the invention. Said feed adjustment bolt (20) presses the abutment plate (21) located on the branch grinding mechanism (19). When the branch is first received, the branch feeding mechanism (5) moves along the height adjustment channel (14) and is pulled down by the feeding mechanism spring (13). This ensures that the branch feeding mechanism (5) puts pressure on the branch, and the feeding drum (23) rotated by the hydromotor (22) is transmitted to the branch cutting mechanism.
