Description

hemostasis device

[0001] The present invention relates to a hemostatic device.

[0002] One known catheterization procedure involves puncturing a blood vessel in a patient's limb, such as an arm or a hand, to form a puncture site, and introducing various types of elongated medical objects into the blood vessel to perform diagnosis or treatment of a lesion. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a hemostatic device that stops bleeding at a puncture site formed to enable access to a blood vessel running through the hand (including the distal radial artery).

[0003] The hemostatic device of Patent Document 1 includes a pressing member that applies a compressive force to a puncture site (hereinafter simply referred to as "puncture site") formed on a patient's hand, a cover member on which the pressing member is disposed, and a plurality of bands extending from the cover member for fixing the pressing member to the patient's hand. The plurality of bands include a band (referred to as a "first band") that is positioned so as to be hooked onto interdigital spaces between fingers, and bands (referred to as a "second band" and a "third band") that are positioned along the circumferential direction of the hand.

[0004] JP 2022-175655 A

[0005] When a surgeon such as a doctor (hereinafter referred to as "the surgeon") performs hemostasis at a puncture site formed in a patient's limb, the surgeon secures the hemostatic device to the patient's hand using each band member with the cover member positioned to cover the puncture site. With the pressing member positioned at the puncture site, the pressing member applies a compressive force to the puncture site, thereby achieving hemostasis at the puncture site.

[0006] When the surgeon secures the hemostatic device to the hand using each band, for example, the surgeon wraps the second and third bands around the circumference of the hand. With the second and third bands secured to the hand, the surgeon passes the first band between the fingers and secures the first band to the other bands. By securing the hemostatic device to the patient's hand using three bands in this manner, the surgeon can prevent the hemostatic device and pressing member from shifting position while the hemostatic device applies pressure to the puncture site.

[0007] As described above, when using a hemostatic device including multiple band portions to stop bleeding at a puncture site on a hand, the surgeon must take great care to avoid mistakes in the placement of each band portion and the method of fastening each band portion. For example, in the hemostatic device described in Patent Document 1, each band portion is marked with a symbol (number) indicating the order in which the band portions should be fastened to the hand. When attaching the hemostatic device to a patient's hand, the surgeon visually checks the symbol on each band portion and places and fastens each band portion to the patient's hand in the order indicated by the symbol, thereby enabling the surgeon to easily and smoothly attach the hemostatic device to the patient's hand.

[0008] For example, some hemostatic devices for use in puncturing a hand are designed to be placed on both the patient's right and left hands. When used to puncture a puncture site on both the right and left hands, the pressure member and band members of such a hemostatic device are treated as being compatible. However, when the hemostatic device is used on both the right and left hands, the pressure member and band members are positioned differently on each hand. Therefore, the surgeon must determine whether the hemostatic device is properly positioned when staunching a puncture site on the right hand and when staunching a puncture site on the left hand. However, conventional hemostatic devices lack indicators or other features for confirming the proper placement of the hemostatic device for each hand when used on either the right or left hand. Therefore, when placing the hemostatic device on a patient's right or left hand, the surgeon cannot confirm whether the hemostatic device is properly positioned for use on each hand, which can result in significant effort being expended on the procedure.

[0009] The present invention has been made in light of the above-mentioned problems, and aims to provide a hemostatic device that makes it easy to determine whether the pressing member and each band portion are properly positioned when used to stop bleeding at puncture sites formed on a patient's right and left hands.

[0010] The present invention can be achieved by any one of the following means (1) to (8).

[0011] (1) A hemostatic device that can be placed on both the right and left hands of a patient depending on the location of a puncture site of the patient, the hemostatic device comprising: a cover member configured to cover the puncture site; and a pressing member connected to the cover member and configured to apply pressure to the puncture site. The cover member is configured to be placed between the patient's fingers and includes a main body portion in which the pressing member is located, a first band portion extending from the main body portion in a first direction, and a second band portion extending from the main body portion in a second direction different from the first direction, and a second band portion facing the second band portion across the pressing member. and a third band portion extending from the main body portion in a third direction different from the first and second directions, and a layout display portion showing an example of how the hemostatic device may be positioned in the patient's right and left hands, wherein the pressing member and the layout display portion are located on the center line of the first band portion, and the layout display portion has a first graphic portion showing an example of how the hemostatic device may be positioned in the patient's right hand and a second graphic portion showing an example of how the hemostatic device may be positioned in the patient's left hand, and the first graphic portion and the second graphic portion are arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion.

[0012] (2) The hemostatic device described in (1) above, characterized in that the first band portion has a first end connected to the main body portion, a second end located opposite the first end, and an intermediate portion extending between the first end and the second end, and the layout display portion is located on the first end side of the intermediate portion of the first band portion.

[0013] (3) A hemostatic device as described in (1) or (2) above, characterized in that the first band portion is more opaque than the main body portion, and at least a portion of the layout display portion is made of a color different from the color of the first band portion.

[0014] (4) The hemostatic device described in (3) above, characterized in that the first band portion has an inner surface on the side where the pressing member is located and an outer surface located opposite the inner surface, and the layout display portion is arranged only on the outer surface.

[0015] (5) A hemostatic device according to any one of (1) to (4) above, characterized in that the pressing member is configured in an elliptical shape having a major axis in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion, the first graphic portion includes the positions of the pressing member and the layout display portion when the hemostatic device is placed in the right hand, and the second graphic portion includes the positions of the pressing member and the layout display portion when the hemostatic device is placed in the left hand.

[0016] (6) The hemostatic device described in (2) above, characterized in that the pressing member has an expansion member that can be expanded by injecting a fluid, the expansion member is connected to an injection member for injecting a fluid into the expansion member via a tube member, the first band portion has a slit portion extending in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion, the tube member is inserted from the inner surface side of the first band portion toward the outer surface side of the first band portion via the slit portion, and the layout display portion is located closer to the second end side of the first band portion than the end of the slit portion located closer to the first end side of the first band portion.

[0017] (7) A hemostatic device according to any one of (1) to (6) above, characterized in that it includes a support member arranged on the cover member so as to cover the pressing member, the main body portion has a two-layer structure including a holding portion that holds the support member, the holding portion having an upper surface region located on the upper surface side of the support member, a lower surface region located on the lower surface side of the support member and facing the upper surface region across the support member, and a curved region that connects the upper surface region and the lower surface region on the base end side of the support member, and the first band portion is connected to the main body portion at a position facing the curved region across the support member.

[0018] (8) The hemostatic device described in (7) above, characterized in that the curved region is formed by folding back a portion of the main body portion toward the first band portion, the lower surface region has a constricted portion formed on the curved region side, and the constricted portion is configured so that the width of the lower surface region becomes smaller from the first band portion side toward the curved region side.

[0019] Because the hemostatic device is configured to be placed on both the patient's right and left hands, a surgeon, such as a doctor, can freely choose whether to wear it on the patient's right or left hand depending on the puncture site on the patient's hand. This allows the surgeon to treat both the patient's right and left hands with a single hemostatic device, improving convenience during use. Furthermore, the first band portion of the cover member of the hemostatic device is provided with a layout display portion showing an example of how the hemostatic device may be placed on the patient's right and left hands. The layout display portion includes a first graphic portion showing an example of how the hemostatic device may be placed on the patient's right hand and a second graphic portion showing an example of how the hemostatic device may be placed on the patient's left hand. When attaching the hemostatic device to the patient's hand, the surgeon can easily determine whether the pressing member and each band portion of the hemostatic device are properly positioned on the hand by visually checking the first and second graphic portions of the first band portion. Furthermore, because the first and second graphical portions are located on the centerline of the first band and aligned along the longitudinal direction of the first band, each graphical portion can be provided prominently over a relatively wide range in the width direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the first band. Furthermore, because the first and second graphical portions are located on the centerline of the first band and aligned along the longitudinal direction of the first band as described above, even if the first band is twisted when the surgeon attaches the hemostatic device to the patient's hand, the first and second graphical portions are prevented from being entirely hidden from the surgeon's field of vision. Therefore, even if the first band is twisted as described above, the surgeon can easily and appropriately attach the hemostatic device to the patient's hand by following the content displayed on the layout display unit.

[0021] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The following description does not limit the technical scope or meaning of terms described in the claims. Furthermore, the dimensional proportions in the drawings are exaggerated for the convenience of explanation and may differ from the actual proportions.

[0022] Figures 1 to 8 are diagrams illustrating the configuration of a hemostatic device 10 according to an embodiment. Figures 9 to 16 are diagrams illustrating a first usage example in which the hemostatic device 10 is used on the right hand H1. Figures 17 to 19 are diagrams illustrating a second usage example in which the hemostatic device 10 is used on the left hand H2.

[0023] As shown in, for example, Figures 9, 13, 14, 15, and 19, the hemostatic device 10 can be used to stop bleeding at a puncture site p1 when removing a sheath tube 710 of an introducer 700 that has been placed at a puncture site p formed on a hand H located distal to (towards the fingertips of) a patient's forearm Ar.

[0024] The specific locations of the puncture sites that are the targets of hemostasis by the hemostatic device 10 are not particularly limited, but in this specification, a first puncture site p1, a second puncture site p2, and a third puncture site p3 are given as examples.

[0025] As shown in Figures 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, and 15, the first puncture site p1 is a puncture site formed in the distal radial artery (hereinafter also referred to as "blood vessel V1") located distal to the snuffbox Sb of the palmar artery running on the back side of the patient's right hand H1 (hereinafter also referred to simply as "right hand H1") located distal to the patient's forearm Ar. The first puncture site p1 is located between the metacarpal B1 of the index finger and the metacarpal B2 of the thumb, at a predetermined position that avoids the metacarpal B1 of the index finger and the metacarpal B2 of the thumb. The snuffbox Sb is a cavity in the hand that is located near the radius when the patient spreads the thumb of the hand H.

[0026] As shown in Figure 9, the second puncture site p2 is a puncture site formed in the artery V2 located at the snuffbox Sb of the palmar artery running along the back of the right hand H1. The second puncture site p2 is located closer to the patient's forearm Ar (proximal) than the first puncture site p1, and is located between the extensor pollicis longus tendon T1 and the extensor pollicis brevis tendon T2 located on the back of the patient's right hand H1. The second puncture site p2 is also located at a predetermined position that avoids the positions of the metacarpal bone B1 of the index finger and the metacarpal bone B2 of the thumb.

[0027] 17 and 19, hemostatic device 10 can be used to stop bleeding at a third puncture site p3 formed in a patient's left hand H2 (hereinafter also simply referred to as "left hand H2") at a position corresponding to the first puncture site p1 exemplified in the patient's right hand H1. Although not described in this specification, hemostatic device 10 can also be used to stop bleeding at a puncture site formed in the patient's left hand H2 at a position corresponding to the second puncture site p2 exemplified in the patient's right hand H1.

[0028] The hemostatic device 10 will now be described in detail.

[0029] <Hemostatic Device 10> As shown in FIGS. 13 and 19, the hemostatic device 10 is configured so that it can be placed on both the right hand H1 and the left hand H2 of the patient depending on the position of the puncture site p of the patient.

[0030] In the following description, this embodiment will be described using an example in which the hemostatic device 10 is used to stop bleeding at the first puncture site p1 of the right hand H1.

[0031] In general, the hemostatic device 10, as shown in Figures 1, 2, 9, 13, 14, and 15, has a cover member 100 configured to cover the first puncture site p1, and a pressing member 200 connected to the cover member 100 and configured to compress the first puncture site p1.

[0032] In this specification, when the hemostatic device 10 is attached to the patient's right hand H1 (or left hand H2), the side of the hemostatic device 10 located on the fingertips of the fingers is defined as the "tip side," and the side of the hemostatic device 10 located on the forearm Ar side is defined as the "base side."

[0033] <Pressing member 200> The pressing member 200 can be configured with an expansion member 210 that can be expanded by injecting a fluid, for example, as shown in Figures 5 and 6. In the following description of this embodiment, an example in which the pressing member 200 is configured with the expansion member 210 will be described.

[0034] The expansion member 210 has an inner cavity 210a into which a fluid can be injected. The expansion member 210 is configured to expand as fluid is injected into the inner cavity 210a and to contract as the fluid injected into the inner cavity 210a is discharged. The fluid used to expand the expansion member 210 is, for example, a gas such as air. Figures 5 and 6 show cross-sectional views of the expansion member 210 in an expanded state.

[0035] A tube member 283 (see FIGS. 1 and 2), which will be described later, is connected to the inner cavity 210a of the expansion member 210.

[0036] As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the expansion member 210 can be made up of, for example, a film-like member (sheet material) connected to the sheet material 120 that constitutes the main body portion 110 of the cover member 100.

[0037] The expansion member 210 can be positioned to form a lumen 210 a between the expansion member 210 and the lower surface region 132 of the retention portion 130 formed by the sheet material 120 .

[0038] The outer periphery of the membrane-like member that constitutes the expansion member 210 constitutes the edge of the expansion member 210. The edge of the expansion member 210 can be connected to the sheet material 120 by, for example, fusion bonding or adhesive.

[0039] 5 , a portion 211 of the edge of the extension member 210 that is located on the upper end 301 side of the support member 300 can be fixed to the sheet material 120 at a position that overlaps the lower surface 300a of the support member 300 in the planar direction. In addition, a portion 212 of the edge of the extension member 210 that is located on the lower end 302 side of the support member 300 can be fixed to a curved region 133 that is formed near the base end 122 of the cover member 100.

[0040] The film-like member that constitutes the expansion member 210 can be made of, for example, a resin material having a predetermined thickness.

[0041] The material of the membrane-like member that constitutes the expansion member 210 is not particularly limited, but examples include polyvinyl chloride, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), polyvinylidene chloride, silicone, polyamide (nylon), polyurethane, polyolefins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and polybutadiene, polyesters such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), various thermoplastic elastomers such as polyamide elastomer (nylon elastomer), polyurethane elastomer, and polyester elastomer, or any combination of these (blend resin, polymer alloy, laminate, etc.).

[0042] As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the expansion member 210 is disposed on the inner surface 110 a side of the main body 110 of the cover member 100 .

[0043] In this embodiment, the inner surface 110a of the main body 110 is configured as the surface that is placed on the body surface side of the right hand H1 in the lower surface region 132 of the holding part 130 (see FIGS. 14 and 15). The outer surface 110b of the main body 110 is configured as the surface that is placed facing the outside in the upper surface region 131 of the holding part 130.

[0044] As shown in FIGS. 10, 11, and 13, the expansion member 210 has a marker portion 260 for aligning the expansion member 210 with the first puncture site p1.

[0045] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the marker portion 260 can be configured with a transparent central portion and a colored circular frame portion surrounding the central portion.

[0046] 5 and 6, the marker portion 260 is disposed on the outer surface of the expansion member 210. For example, the marker portion 260 may be disposed on the inner surface of the expansion member 210 facing the lumen 210a.

[0047] There are no particular limitations on the specific shape, color, forming method, etc. of the marker portion 260. The marker portion 260 may be configured as, for example, a circular marker that is entirely colored, a marker that is configured with a transparent center and a rectangular frame, or a rectangular marker that is entirely colored.

[0048] 3 and 4, the expansion member 210 can be configured to have an elliptical shape with its major axis aligned in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410. However, there are no particular limitations on the planar shape of the expansion member 210 in planar view. The expansion member 210 may be configured to have a planar shape such as a circle, a rectangle, or an ellipse with its major axis aligned in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410.

[0049] There are no particular limitations on the specific configuration of the expansion member 210 included in the hemostatic device 10. The expansion member 210 may be formed, for example, by joining an edge of one sheet-like member to two sheet-like members with a lumen 210a formed between the other sheet-like member. When the expansion member 210 is configured in this manner, the surface of one sheet-like member can be connected to the sheet material 120 that constitutes the main body 110 of the cover member 100. The expansion member 210 can also be configured, for example, by a single bag-like member shaped to have an internal lumen 210a. When the expansion member 210 is configured in this manner, the expansion member 210 can be configured by connecting a portion of the surface of the bag-like member to the sheet material 120 that constitutes the main body 110 of the cover member 100.

[0050] <Cover member 100> As shown in Figures 3, 4, 10, 11, and 13, the cover member 100 comprises a main body portion 110 in which the expansion member 210 is located, a first band portion 410 configured to be placed between the patient's fingers and extending from the main body portion 110 in a first direction, a second band portion 420 extending from the main body portion 110 in a second direction different from the first direction, a third band portion 430 facing the second band portion 420 across the expansion member 210 and extending from the main body portion 110 in a third direction different from the first and second directions, and a layout display portion 600 showing an example of the arrangement of the hemostatic device 10 on the right hand H1 and the left hand H2.

[0051] The area of the cover member 100 where the expansion member 210 is arranged (the area overlapping with the expansion member 210 in the plan views shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 ) constitutes the main body portion 110 .

[0052] 5 and 6, the main body 110 has a two-layer structure. The main body 110 has a two-layer structure and includes a holding portion 130 that holds the support member 300.

[0053] As shown in Figure 5, the holding portion 130 has an upper surface region 131 located on the upper surface 300b side of the support member 300, a lower surface region 132 located on the lower surface 300a side of the support member 300 and facing the upper surface region 131 across the support member 300, and a curved region 133 connecting the upper surface region 131 and the lower surface region 132 on the base end side of the support member 300 (the lower end portion 302 side of the support member 300).

[0054] The curved region 133 is formed by folding back a portion of the sheet material 120 that constitutes the main body portion 110 toward the first band portion 410. In this embodiment, a portion of the sheet material 120 that constitutes the main body portion 110 is folded back from the base end side to the tip end side of the main body portion 110. A gap portion g in which the support member 300 can be placed is formed between the upper surface region 131 and the lower surface region 132 of the folded back sheet material 120. The portion of the sheet material 120 where the gap portion g is formed constitutes a holding portion 130 that holds the support member 300.

[0055] 3 and 4 , the first end 121 of the sheet material 120, which is located on the upper end 301 side of the support member 300, and a predetermined range from the first end 121 toward the base end 122, are connected to the sheet material 120 at a position closer to the first band portion 410 than the upper end 301 of the support member 300. The first end 121 and the predetermined range from the first end 121 toward the base end 122 can be fixed to the sheet material 120 via, for example, fused portions 135 a and 135 b.

[0056] 3 and 4 , the vicinity of the center of the first end 121 in the width direction in a plan view can be configured as, for example, a non-connected portion 136 that is not connected to the sheet material 120. In addition, the end portion of each fused portion 135 a, 135 b located on the base end 122 side can be positioned at a predetermined position closer to the first end 121 than the base end 122 of the sheet material 120.

[0057] As shown in FIG. 5, the base end 122 of the cover member 100 , which is made up of a portion of the sheet material 120 , is located in the curved region 133 .

[0058] As shown in Fig. 5, the retaining portion 130 has the gap g closed in the vertical width direction of the expansion member 210 (the up-down direction in Figs. 3 and 4). Also, as shown in Fig. 6, the retaining portion 130 has a portion of the gap g communicating with the outside on the second band portion 420 side and the third band portion 430 side in the horizontal width direction of the expansion member 210 (the left-right direction in Figs. 3 and 4).

[0059] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the lower surface region 132 has a constricted portion 132a located on the curved region 133 side.

[0060] The constricted portion 132a is configured so that the width (horizontal width) of the lower surface region 132 becomes smaller from the first band portion 410 side toward the curved region 133 side. In other words, the constricted portion 132a is configured as a portion in which the width of the lower surface region 132 gradually becomes smaller from the distal end side toward the proximal end side in the plan view shown in Figures 3 and 4 .

[0061] The constricted portion 132a can be configured, for example, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, so that its width decreases symmetrically toward the curved region 133 with respect to the center line C of the first band portion 410.

[0062] 3 and 4, the first band portion 410 is connected to the main body portion 110 at a position facing the curved region 133 across the support member 300. The first band portion 410 can be connected to the main body portion 110 by, for example, fusion or adhesion.

[0063] The second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 are integrally formed with the main body portion 110 .

[0064] Similar to the first band portion 410, the second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 may be formed as separate members from the main body portion 110 and connected to the main body portion 110. Similarly to the second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430, the first band portion 410 may be formed integrally with the main body portion 110.

[0065] As shown in Figures 1, 2, 3, and 4, the first band portion 410 has a first end portion 411 connected to the main body portion 110 of the cover member 100, a second end portion 412 located opposite the first end portion 411, and an intermediate portion 413 extending between the first end portion 411 and the second end portion 412.

[0066] In this specification, the direction parallel to the direction in which the middle portion 413 of the first band portion 410 extends (the vertical direction in FIG. 7 ) is defined as the "longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410." Furthermore, the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410 (the horizontal direction in FIG. 7 ) is defined as the "width direction of the first band portion 410." Furthermore, the center line C of the first band portion 410 is defined as a straight line that passes through the approximate center of the width direction of the first band portion 410 and extends in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410.

[0067] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the first band portion 410 has a slit portion 415 extending in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410.

[0068] The slit portion 415 penetrates the inner surface 410 a and the outer surface 410 b of the first band portion 410 .

[0069] 3 and 4, tube member 283 included in injection member 281 is inserted through slit 415 from the inner surface 410a of first band portion 410 toward the outer surface 410b of first band portion 410. Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, injection member 281 and buffer member 282 connected to tube member 283 are disposed on the outer surface 410b side of first band portion 410, together with a portion of tube member 283.

[0070] 3 , the slit portion 415, together with the layout display portion 600, is located on the center line C of the first band portion 410. Therefore, when attaching the hemostatic device 10 to the patient's right hand H1, the surgeon can easily prevent the tube member 283 provided with the injection member 281 from covering the layout display portion 600 by moving the tube member 283 outside the first band portion 410. Note that "located on the center line C" means that at least a portion of the slit portion 415 is located on the center line C (on an extension of the center line C). Therefore, the center position of the slit portion 415 in the width direction may be shifted from the center line C to one side or the other side in the width direction of the first band portion 410. However, there are no particular limitations on the position of the slit portion 415.

[0071] The slit portion 415 can be configured to extend a predetermined length from the first end portion 411 of the first band portion 410 along the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410, for example.

[0072] As shown in Figure 13, the first band portion 410 can be positioned so that it is hooked onto the inter-finger portion fb located between the thumb and index finger of the patient's right hand H1, with the expansion member 210 positioned at the first puncture site p1.

[0073] As shown in Figures 1, 2, 3, and 4, the second band portion 420 has a first end portion 421 that is integrally connected to the main body portion 110 of the cover member 100, a second end portion 422 that is located opposite the first end portion 421, and an intermediate portion 423 that extends between the first end portion 421 and the second end portion 422.

[0074] The second direction in which the second band portion 420 extends is not particularly limited as long as it is a direction different from the first direction in which the first band portion 410 extends.

[0075] As shown in Figures 1, 2, 3, and 4, the third band portion 430 has a first end portion 431 that is integrally connected to the main body portion 110 of the cover member 100, a second end portion 432 that is located opposite the first end portion 431, and an intermediate portion 433 that extends between the first end portion 431 and the second end portion 432.

[0076] The third direction in which the third band portion 430 extends is not particularly limited as long as it is a direction different from the first direction in which the first band portion 410 extends and the second direction in which the second band portion 420 extends.

[0077] As shown in Figures 10 and 11 , when the hemostatic device 10 is worn on a patient's right hand H1, the second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 can be positioned so as to be wrapped around the outer circumference of the right hand H1. As shown in Figures 3 and 4 , the second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 are positioned opposite each other with the expansion member 210 sandwiched between them. Therefore, when the second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 are wrapped around the right hand H1, a pulling force is applied to the second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 in directions that move them away from each other, and a pulling force is also applied to the main body portion 110 in the same direction.

[0078] The constituent material of each of the band portions 410, 420, 430 is not particularly limited, but may be, for example, vinyl chloride resin, polyurethane resin, polyester resin, etc. Furthermore, there are no particular limitations on the shape, length, thickness, etc. of each of the band portions 410, 420, 430.

[0079] Each band portion 410, 420, 430 has four fixing portions, namely, a first fixing portion 510, a second fixing portion 520, a third fixing portion 530, and a fourth fixing portion 540, which enable the cover member 100 to be fixed to the right hand H1.

[0080] As shown in FIG. 1 , a first fixing portion 510 is disposed on the outer surface of the middle portion 423 of the second band portion 420 .

[0081] As shown in FIG. 1 , a second fixing portion 520 is disposed on the outer surface of the middle portion 433 of the third band portion 430 .

[0082] As shown in FIG. 2 , a third fixing portion 530 is disposed on the inner surface of the middle portion 433 of the third band portion 430 .

[0083] As shown in FIG. 2 , a fourth fixing portion 540 is disposed on the inner surface of the middle portion 413 of the first band portion 410 .

[0084] The first and second fastening portions 510, 520 may be configured as male hook-and-loop fasteners. The third and fourth fastening portions 530, 540 may be configured as female hook-and-loop fasteners. The hook-and-loop fasteners in this specification are fasteners that can be attached and detached from each other, such as Magic Tape® and Velcro®.

[0085] The second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 are configured to be detachable via a first fastening portion 510 located on the outer surface of the intermediate portion 423 of the second band portion 420 and a third fastening portion 530 located on the inner surface of the intermediate portion 433 of the third band portion 430. The first band portion 410 and the third band portion 430 are also configured to be detachable via a fourth fastening portion 540 located on the inner surface of the intermediate portion 413 of the first band portion 410 and a second fastening portion 520 located on the outer surface of the intermediate portion 433 of the third band portion 430.

[0086] The specific structure of each of the fixing portions 510, 520, 530, and 540 is not limited as long as the band portions 410, 420, and 430 can be connected together to fix the cover member 100 to the hand H (right hand H1 and left hand H2) while the hemostatic device 10 is placed on the hand H. For example, some of the fixing portions may be omitted, or the positions of the fixing portions on the band portions 410, 420, and 430 may be changed as desired. Furthermore, when each of the fixing portions 510, 520, 530, and 540 is formed using a hook-and-loop fastener, the male and female sides of the hook-and-loop fastener may be reversed. Furthermore, each of the fixing portions 510, 520, 530, and 540 may be formed using, for example, a snap, a button, a clip, or a connecting mechanism including a frame portion formed with a protrusion and an engaged portion formed with a hole that can engage with the frame portion.

[0087] 7 and 8 show enlarged views of the layout display section 600 arranged on the first band section 410. Fig. 7 shows the layout display section 600 as seen from the outer surface 410b of the first band section 410. Fig. 8 shows the layout display section 600 as seen from the inner surface 410a of the first band section 410.

[0088] As shown in FIGS. 3, 4, 7 and 8, the extension member 210 and the layout display portion 600 are positioned on the center line C of the first band portion 410.

[0089] In this embodiment, the center position in the width direction of the expansion member 210, the center position in the width direction of the first figure portion 610, and the center position in the width direction of the second figure portion 620 are all located on the center line C.

[0090] The above phrase "located on the center line C" means that at least a portion of the expansion member 210 is located on the center line C (on an extension of the center line C), and that at least a portion of the layout display section 600 (the first graphic section 610 and the second graphic section 620) is located on the center line C. Therefore, the widthwise center position of the expansion member 210, the widthwise center position of the first graphic section 610, and the widthwise center position of the second graphic section 620 may be shifted from the center line C to one side or the other side of the first band section 410 in the width direction.

[0091] As shown in Figures 7 and 8, the layout display section 600 has a first graphic section 610 showing an example of the placement of the hemostatic device 10 on the patient's right hand H1, and a second graphic section 620 showing an example of the placement of the hemostatic device 10 on the patient's left hand H2.

[0092] 7 and 8 , the first and second figure portions 610 and 620 are arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410. The first figure portion 610 is arranged closer to the first end portion 411 of the first band portion 410 than the second figure portion 620.

[0093] The first and second graphic portions 610 and 620 can be arranged at a predetermined distance in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410. By providing a distance between the first and second graphic portions 610 and 620, the surgeon can easily recognize the boundary between the first and second graphic portions 610 and 620 when visually viewing the layout display portion 600. This allows the surgeon to clearly distinguish between the first and second graphic portions 610 and 620 when visually viewing the layout display portion 600.

[0094] There is no particular limitation on the specific distance between the first figure portion 610 and the second figure portion 620. For example, the distance between the first figure portion 610 and the second figure portion 620 can be set to approximately 3 mm along the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410.

[0095] As shown in FIGS. 1, 2, 3 and 4, the layout display section 600 is located on the first end 411 side of the middle section 413 of the first band section 410.

[0096] The above-mentioned "first end 411 side of the intermediate portion 413 of the first band portion 410" means that, in the plan view shown in Figure 2, the straight-line distance L1 from the first end 411 to the second end 412 of the first band portion 410 is located closer to the first end 411 side of the first band portion 410 than the center position obtained by dividing the linear distance L1 from the first end 411 to the second end 412 of the first band portion 410 in half in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410.

[0097] The first band portion 410 can be configured to be more opaque than the main body portion 110 of the cover member 100 .

[0098] In this embodiment, a portion of the main body 110 of the cover member 100 is made of a transparent material so that the marker portion 260 and the puncture site p can be visually confirmed from the outer surface 110b side of the main body 110 when the surgeon places the cover member 100 on the right hand H1, as will be described later. When the main body 110 is made of a transparent material in this manner, the first band portion 410 can be made more opaque than the main body 110, for example, by being given a predetermined color. Note that "more opaque than the main body 110" means that the first band portion 410 has less transmittance to visible light than the main body 110.

[0099] The color of the first band portion 410 is, for example, white, but there is no particular limitation on the specific color of the first band portion 410.

[0100] At least a portion of the layout display section 600 can be configured in a color different from the color of the first band section 410. When the first band section 410 is colored white as described above, at least a portion of the layout display section 600 can be colored, for example, green. Green has a large hue difference from red, which is the color of blood. Therefore, when the layout display section 600 is colored green, the layout display section 600 is easily noticeable even if blood adheres to the first band section 410, making it easy for the surgeon to view. However, there are no particular restrictions on the specific color of the layout display section 600.

[0101] 7 and 8, the colored portions (white portions) of the first band portion 410 are clearly indicated by dots. In the layout display portion 600 (first graphic portion 610 and second graphic portion 620), the portions (green portions) that are colored differently from the first band portion 410 are filled in with black.

[0102] For example, a fluorescent pigment may be included in the colored portions of the layout display section 600. By including a fluorescent pigment in the layout display section 600, if the hemostatic device 10 has been removed from the patient's hand H, for example, at night, the surgeon can quickly become aware of this situation.

[0103] Furthermore, there are no particular restrictions on the specific configuration (patterns, symbols, illustrations, etc.) of the layout display section 600 (first graphic section 610 and second graphic section 620), as long as it has the function of assisting the task of placing the hemostatic device 10 on the patient's right hand H1 and left hand H2.

[0104] As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the layout display section 600 can be disposed only on the outer surface 410 b of the first band section 410 .

[0105] Because the layout display unit 600 is disposed only on the outer surface 410b of the first band 410, the shape and symbols can be clearly recognized when the surgeon views the layout display unit 600 from the outer surface 410b side of the first band 410, as shown in Fig. 7. However, because the layout display unit 600 is disposed only on the outer surface 410b of the first band 410, the shape and symbols of the layout display unit 600 become unclear when the surgeon views the layout display unit 600 from the inner surface 410a side of the first band 410, as shown in Fig. 8, compared to when the surgeon views the layout display unit 600 from the outer surface 410b side. Therefore, when the surgeon views the layout display unit 600 from the inner surface 410a side of the first band 410, the surgeon cannot clearly recognize the layout display unit 600 compared to when the surgeon views the layout display unit 600 from the outer surface 410b side.

[0106] As shown in FIG. 7, the first graphic portion 610 includes the positions of the expansion member 210 and the layout display portion 600 when the hemostatic device 10 is placed in the right hand H1.

[0107] The first graphic portion 610 has a first portion 611 with a background color, a second portion 612 with the symbol R indicating that the first graphic portion 610 is an example of placement on the right hand H1, a third portion 613 showing an illustration of the right hand H1 when positioned so that the fingertips of the right hand H1 face toward the second end 412 of the first band portion 410, and a fourth portion 614 with an illustration of a hemostatic device 10 showing an example of appropriate placement of the cover member 100 provided with the expansion member 210 and the layout display portion 600.

[0108] As shown in Figure 7, the second graphic portion 620 has a first portion 621 with a background color, a second portion 622 with a symbol L indicating that the second graphic portion 620 is an example of placement on the left hand H2, a third portion 623 showing an illustration of the left hand H2 when placed so that the fingertips of the left hand H2 face the second end 412 of the first band portion 410, and a fourth portion 624 with an illustration of the hemostatic device 10 showing an example of appropriate placement of the cover member 100 provided with the expansion member 210 and the layout display portion 600.

[0109] In this embodiment, at least a portion of each of the first portions 611, 621 and each of the fourth portions 614, 624 of each of the graphic portions 610, 620 can be given a color (e.g., green) different from that of the first band portion 410.

[0110] As shown in Figures 3 and 4, the layout display section 600 can be configured to be located closer to the second end 412 of the first band section 410 than the end 415a of the slit section 415, which is located closer to the first end 411 of the first band section 410.

[0111] <Supporting Member 300> As shown in FIGS. 3, 4, 5, and 6, the hemostatic device 10 has a supporting member 300 that is disposed on the cover member 100 so as to cover the expansion member 210.

[0112] The support member 300 can be formed of a plate-like member made of a material harder than the expansion member 210. The support member 300 can be placed in the gap g of the holding portion 130.

[0113] As shown in Figures 3, 4, 5, and 6, the support member 300 is located on the first band portion 410 side and has an upper end portion 301 that forms the end of the support member 300, a lower end portion 302 that forms the end opposite the upper end portion 301, and a pair of side portions 303, 304 that connect the upper end portion 301 and the lower end portion 302.

[0114] The upper end 301 of the support member 300 can be positioned on the fingertip side (distal end side) when the hemostatic device 10 is attached to the patient's hand H. The lower end 302 of the support member 300 can be positioned on the forearm Ar side (proximal end side) when the hemostatic device 10 is attached to the patient's hand H. The upper end 301 forms the "distal end" of the support member 300, and the lower end 302 forms the "proximal end" of the support member 300.

[0115] Each of the upper end 301 and the lower end 302 of the support member 300 can be configured to include a flat portion that extends substantially linearly in the plan view shown in FIGS.

[0116] As shown in FIG. 6, the upper surface 300b of the support member 300 is curved toward the second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 (toward the left and right in FIG. 6).

[0117] The radius of curvature of the upper surface 300b of the support member 300 can be formed to be approximately constant at each portion in the vertical direction of the support member 300 (the up-and-down direction in FIGS. 3 and 4), for example.

[0118] As shown in Fig. 6, the lower surface 300a of the support member 300 is curved toward the second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 (the left-right direction in Fig. 6). Therefore, the lower surface 300a of the support member 300 is curved convexly in a direction away from the expansion member 210, as shown in Fig. 6.

[0119] The radius of curvature of the lower surface 300 a near the upper end 301 of the support member 300 can be formed to be smaller than the radius of curvature of the lower surface 300 a near the lower end 302 of the support member 300 , for example.

[0120] The support member 300 can be configured so that the thickness of each of the side surface portions 303, 304 connecting the upper end portion 301 and the lower end portion 302 becomes thinner from the upper end portion 301 toward the lower end portion 302. In other words, the support member 300 can be configured so that it has a cross-sectional shape that is inclined so that the distance between the upper surface 300b and the lower surface 300a becomes smaller from the upper end portion 301 toward the lower end portion 302 in the cross-sectional views shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 14 .

[0121] In the plan view shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the four corners of the support member 300 can be formed in a rounded curved shape.

[0122] In the hemostatic device 10, it is preferable that the portion of the expansion member 210 where the marker portion 260 is provided, the portion of the cover member 100 that overlaps with the marker portion 260 (the upper surface region 131 and the lower surface region 132 of the holding portion 130), and the portion of the support member 300 that overlaps with the marker portion 260 are formed transparently. When the members 100, 210, and 300 are configured in this manner, when the surgeon attaches the hemostatic device 10 to the patient's right hand H1 as shown in Figures 10, 11, and 13, the surgeon can easily visually confirm the position of the marker portion 260 and / or the first puncture site p1 arranged on the expansion member 210 through the transparent portions of the members 100, 210, and 300. Note that, in this specification, "transparent" includes colored transparent, colorless transparent, and translucent.

[0123] When the expansion member 210 is made of the materials mentioned above, the support member 300 can be made of materials such as acrylic resin, polyvinyl chloride (especially rigid polyvinyl chloride), polyethylene, polypropylene, polyolefins such as polybutadiene, polystyrene, poly-(4-methylpentene-1), polycarbonate, ABS resin, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polyacetal, polyacrylate, polyacrylonitrile, polyvinylidene fluoride, ionomer, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), etc.

[0124] <Injection member 281> Injection member 281 is configured as a connector with a built-in check valve (not shown). A syringe (not shown) can be connected to injection member 281. Injection member 281 is connected to expansion member 210 via tube member 283.

[0125] Cushioning member 282 having an expandable space is disposed between injection member 281 and expansion member 210. Cushioning member 282 is made of a flexible bag-shaped member with an internal space. Cushioning member 282 may be provided with an arrow-shaped marker that indicates the insertion direction of the syringe into injection member 281.

[0126] Injection member 281 is connected to one end of buffer member 282. The inner cavity of injection member 281 communicates with the space in buffer member 282. However, while a check valve built into injection member 281 is closed, communication between the inner cavity of injection member 281 and the space in buffer member 282 is blocked.

[0127] A flexible tube member 283 is connected to the other end of the buffer member 282. The inner cavity of the tube member 283 communicates with the space in the buffer member 282. The other end of the tube member 283, opposite to the one end connected to the buffer member 282, is connected to the expansion member 210. The inner cavity of the tube member 283 communicates with the inner cavity 210a of the expansion member 210.

[0128] When expanding the expansion member 210, the surgeon opens the check valve by inserting the tip of a syringe (not shown) into the injection member 281. With the check valve of the injection member 281 open, the surgeon injects air from the syringe into the lumen 210a of the expansion member 210 by pressing the plunger of the syringe.

[0129] When air is injected into the lumen 210a of the expansion member 210, the expansion member 210 expands. When the expansion member 210 expands, the buffer member 282, which communicates with the lumen 210a of the expansion member 210 via the tube member 283, expands. By visually confirming the expansion of the buffer member 282, the surgeon can easily determine that the expansion member 210 has expanded without any air leakage.

[0130] When contracting the expansion member 210, the surgeon inserts the tip of the syringe into the injection member 281 and pulls the plunger of the syringe. By performing the above operation, the surgeon can discharge the air in the lumen 210a of the expansion member 210 into the syringe.

[0131] The injection member 281, the buffer member 282, and the tube member 283 may be prepared and provided in a state where they are connected to the expansion member 210, or may be prepared and provided in a state where they are separated from the expansion member 210. There are no particular limitations on the specific configuration of the injection member 281, as long as it is possible to operate the supply of fluid to the lumen 210a of the expansion member 210 and the discharge of fluid from the lumen 210a of the expansion member 210.

[0132] <Examples of Use of Hemostatic Device> Next, examples of use and effects of the hemostatic device 10 will be described.

[0133] Below, a first use example (see Figures 10 to 16) of stopping bleeding at a first puncture site p1 formed on a right hand H1 and a second use example (see Figures 17 to 19) of stopping bleeding at a third puncture site p3 formed on a left hand H2 will be described. Note that Figures 10 to 13 and 17 to 19 show views from the perspective of an operator who is positioning and attaching hemostatic device 10 to a patient's hand H (the perspective of an operator who is assumed to be on the fingertip side).

[0134] A first example of use will be described with reference to FIGS.

[0135] FIG. 10 shows a state in which various procedures using the sheath tube 710 of the introducer 700 inserted into the first puncture site p1 have been completed.

[0136] When attaching the hemostatic device 10 to the patient's right hand H1, the surgeon positions the expansion member 210 and the support member 300 so that they overlap at the first puncture site p1, as shown in Fig. 10. At this time, the surgeon visually checks the position of the marker portion 260 placed on the expansion member 210, and positions the marker portion 260 at the first puncture site p1, thereby enabling the expansion member 210 and the support member 300 to be properly aligned with the first puncture site p1.

[0137] When placing the hemostatic device 10 on the patient's right hand H1, the surgeon can easily determine, by visually checking the layout display section 600, whether each part of the hemostatic device 10 is properly placed in the designated position on the right hand H1, whether the orientation of the hemostatic device 10 is appropriate, etc.

[0138] When attaching the hemostatic device 10 to the patient's right hand H1, the surgeon can position the support member 300 so that it overlaps at least a portion of the metacarpal bone B1 of the index finger and at least a portion of the metacarpal bone B2 of the thumb. For example, as shown in Fig. 9 , when stopping bleeding at a first puncture site p1, the surgeon can position the support member 300 at a predetermined position P1 located on an extension of the metacarpal bones B1 and B2. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 9 , when stopping bleeding at a second puncture site p2, the surgeon can position the support member 300 at a predetermined position P2 located on an extension of the metacarpal bones B1 and B2 and closer to the forearm A than the predetermined position P1.

[0139] The distance between the metacarpal B1 of the index finger and the metacarpal B2 of the thumb gradually narrows from the fingertip side toward the forearm Ar (see FIG. 9 ). The width of the support member 300 also narrows from the upper end 301, located near the fingertip, toward the lower end 302, located near the forearm Ar (see FIGS. 3 and 4 ). Therefore, by placing the support member 300 on the back of the patient's right hand H1 so that it overlaps the metacarpal B1 of the index finger and the metacarpal B2 of the thumb, the surgeon can position the support member 300 so that it aligns with at least a portion of the metacarpal B1 of the index finger and at least a portion of the metacarpal B2 of the thumb. By positioning the support member 300 so that it aligns with at least a portion of the metacarpal B1 of the index finger and at least a portion of the metacarpal B2 of the thumb, the surgeon can prevent a gap from forming between the extension member 210, located on the underside 300a of the support member 300, and the right hand H1.

[0140] As shown in Fig. 11 , the surgeon wraps the second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 around the circumference of the patient's right hand H1. The surgeon can connect the second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 via the respective fixing portions 510, 530 by bringing the first fixing portion 510 (see Fig. 1 ) located on the outer surface of the second band portion 420 into contact with the third fixing portion 530 (see Fig. 2 ) located on the inner surface of the third band portion 430. The surgeon can connect the band portions 420, 430 together while overlapping the support member 300 over at least a portion of the metacarpal bone B1 of the index finger and at least a portion of the metacarpal bone B2 of the thumb, thereby tightly wrapping the band portions 420, 430 around the circumference of the right hand H1.

[0141] The upper surface 300b of the support member 300 is curved toward the second band portion 420 (side surface 303) and the third band portion 430 (side surface 304) (see FIG. 6 ). Therefore, by wrapping the second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 around the patient's right hand H1, the surgeon can press the support member 300 against the right hand H1 from the upper surface 300b side along the outer periphery of the right hand H1, as shown in FIG. 15 . Therefore, the hemostatic device 10 can increase the fixing force of the support member 300 and the expansion member 210 to the patient's right hand H1.

[0142] 13, the surgeon places a portion of the first band portion 410 on the palm side of the patient's right hand H1 while passing the first band portion 410 through the interdigital portion fb located between the thumb and index finger of the patient's right hand H1. At this time, the surgeon can connect the first band portion 410 and the second band portion 420 via the fixing portions 520, 540 by bringing the second fixing portion 520 (see FIG. 1) located on the outer surface of the third band portion 430 into contact with the fourth fixing portion 540 (see FIG. 2) located on the inner surface of the first band portion 410.

[0143] FIG. 12 shows an enlarged view of the layout display section 600 that the surgeon visually checks when placing the first band section 410 in the inter-finger section fb.

[0144] When placing the first band portion 410 in the inter-finger portion fb, the surgeon can visually check the layout display portion 600 and compare the content displayed in the layout display portion 600 with the state in which the surgeon is currently performing the putting operation, thereby determining whether the hemostatic device 10 is placed in the appropriate orientation and posture on the right hand H1. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 12 , the surgeon can easily determine whether the hemostatic device 10 is placed in the appropriate orientation on the patient's right hand H1 by comparing the content displayed in the first graphic portion 610 as seen from the surgeon's line of sight with the actual orientation of the patient's right hand H1 and the position of the inter-finger portion fb.

[0145] Furthermore, in the hemostatic device 10, the layout display unit 600 is located on the first end 411 side of the intermediate portion 413 of the first band portion 410. Therefore, when placing the first band portion 410 in the interfinger portion fb, the surgeon can prevent the layout display unit 600 from being covered by the surgeon's fingers even if the surgeon grasps the second end 412 of the first band portion 410, which is located on the surgeon's side, with his or her fingers. Therefore, the surgeon can appropriately place the hemostatic device 10 on the patient's right hand H1 according to the content displayed on the layout display unit 600.

[0146] Furthermore, in the hemostatic device 10, the first band portion 410 is made of a more opaque material than the main body portion 110, and the layout display portion 600 is made of a different color from the first band portion 410. Therefore, the surgeon can easily recognize the first band portion 410 when visually inspecting the first band portion 410. Furthermore, by visually inspecting the layout display portion 600, which is made of a different color from the first band portion 410, the surgeon can easily recognize the graphic portions 610, 620 arranged on the first band portion 410.

[0147] Furthermore, in the hemostatic device 10, the layout display unit 600 is disposed only on the outer surface 410b of the first band 410. Therefore, when the surgeon visually checks the layout display unit 600, the surgeon can confirm that the layout display unit 600 is clearly displayed on the first band 410, and can easily determine whether the outer surface 410b and inner surface 410a of the first band 410 (the outer surface 110b and inner surface 110a of the main body 110 of the cover member 100) have been mistakenly positioned in reverse (inside out).

[0148] Furthermore, in the hemostatic device 10, the first graphic portion 610 includes the positions of the expansion member 210 and the layout display portion 600 when the hemostatic device 10 is placed on the right hand H1, and the second graphic portion 620 includes the positions of the expansion member 210 and the layout display portion 600 when the hemostatic device 10 is placed on the left hand H2. Therefore, when placing the first band portion 410 in the interdigital portion fb, the surgeon can easily and clearly determine whether the hemostatic device 10 is placed in the appropriate orientation by checking the placement state of the hemostatic device 10 according to the content indicated by the first graphic portion 610 and the content indicated by the second graphic portion 620 of the layout display portion 600.

[0149] Furthermore, in the hemostatic device 10, the tube member 283 is inserted through the slit 415 from the inner surface 410a of the first band 410 toward the outer surface 410b of the first band 410. Therefore, when the surgeon attaches the hemostatic device 10 to the patient's right hand H1, the surgeon can prevent the tube member 283 from moving inadvertently by placing a portion of the tube member 283 inside the slit 415. This improves the operability of the surgeon when handling the hemostatic device 10. Furthermore, when the hemostatic device 10 is attached to the patient's right hand H1, the tube member 283 is inserted through the slit 415 and a portion of the tube member 283 is pulled out and positioned toward the outer surface 410b of the first band 410, thereby preventing the tube member 283 from being pressed against the patient's right hand H1 by the first band 410 placed in the interdigital region fb. Furthermore, the layout display section 600 is located closer to the second end 412 of the first band section 410 than the end of the slit section 415, which is located closer to the first end 411 of the first band section 410. Therefore, when the surgeon attaches the hemostatic device 10 to the patient's right hand H1, the slit section 415 prevents the tube member 283 from moving inadvertently, and also prevents the tube member 283 from covering part of the layout display section 600. This improves operability when the surgeon handles the hemostatic device 10.

[0150] In the hemostatic device 10, the first band portion 410 is connected to the main body portion 110 at a position facing the curved region 133 with the support member 300 in between (see FIGS. 3 and 4 ). Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 11 and 12 , when the surgeon wraps the first band portion 410 around the interdigital region fb, the surgeon can visually check the layout display portion 600 and confirm the positional relationship between the expansion member 210 and the support member 300. This allows the surgeon to easily and appropriately position the hemostatic device 10 on the patient's right hand H1 while aligning the expansion member 210 and the support member 300 with the first puncture site p1.

[0151] Various portions of the patient's right hand H1 (e.g., around the snuff box Sb) have inclined portions (see FIG. 9 ). Furthermore, the shape of the inclined portions of the patient's right hand H1 varies depending on the individual patient. For example, if the inner surface of the support member is flat, it is difficult to position the support member so that it conforms to the inclined portions of the right hand H1. In the hemostatic device 10 of this embodiment, the lower surface 300a of the support member 300 is convexly curved in a direction away from the expansion member 210 (see FIGS. 6 and 15 ). Therefore, by positioning the lower surface 300a of the support member 300 so that it overlaps the inclined portions of the patient's right hand H1, the lower surface 300a of the support member 300 can be positioned so that it conforms to the patient's right hand H1. This allows the hemostatic device 10 to position the support member 300 over the first puncture site p1, regardless of individual differences in the patient's right hand H1 (or left hand H2) or the surgeon's positioning method. Therefore, the hemostatic device 10 can suitably position the support member 300 at a desired position near the first puncture site p1.

[0152] Furthermore, when the surgeon wraps the second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 around the patient's right hand H1, the underside 300a of the support member 300 is positioned along the body surface of the right hand H1, so that the band portions 420, 430 extending from the side portions 303, 304 of the support member 300 can be positioned close to or in close contact with the body surface of the patient's right hand H1 (see FIG. 15 ). This increases the fixing force of the support member 300 and the expansion member 210 to the patient's right hand H1. As a result, when the hemostatic device 10 is worn on the patient's right hand H1, the support member 300 and the expansion member 210 are less likely to become displaced, even if an external impact or the like is applied.

[0153] In the hemostatic device 10, the layout display portion 600 is located on the first end 411 side of the intermediate portion 413 of the first band portion 410. When the layout display portion 600 is located in this manner, the distance between the first graphic portion 610 and the first end 411 of the first band portion 410 is preferably set to within 20 mm along the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410. When the distance between the first graphic portion 610 and the first end 411 of the first band portion 410 is set as described above, as shown in FIG. 13 , a portion of the layout display portion 600 (a portion of the first graphic portion 610) is positioned so that it can be visually confirmed by the surgeon when the hemostatic device 10 is attached to the patient's right hand H1. This allows the surgeon to visually check the layout display portion 600 and confirm that the first band portion 410 is properly positioned in the interdigital portion fb, even after the hemostatic device 10 has been attached to the patient's right hand H1.

[0154] With a syringe connected to the injection member 281, the surgeon injects air into the expansion member 210 to expand the expansion member 210. As shown in Figures 14 and 15 , in the hemostatic device 10, when the expansion member 210 expands, the expansion member 210 applies a compressive force to the first puncture site p1.

[0155] When the expansion member 210 expands while the hemostatic device 10 is attached to the patient's right hand H1, the support member 300 presses the expansion member 210 against the patient's right hand H1, thereby preventing the hemostatic device 10 from lifting up from the patient's right hand H1.

[0156] In the hemostatic device 10, a constricted portion 132a is formed in the lower surface region 132 of the holding portion 130 of the main body 110. The constricted portion 132a is configured so that the width of the lower surface region 132 decreases from the first band portion 410 side toward the curved region 133 side. Therefore, when the hemostatic device 10 is worn on the right hand H1, the constricted portion 132a located in the lower surface region 132 prevents the deformation of the upper surface region 131 of the cover member 100 from being inhibited by the lower surface region 132, and the upper surface region 131 can be deformed to fit along the support member 300. Therefore, when the hemostatic device 10 is worn on the right hand H1, the base end portion 122 of the cover member 100 deforms to fit along both widthwise ends of the support member 300, thereby reducing the width of the base end portion 122 of the cover member 100. The hemostatic device 10 can prevent objects and the like from becoming easily caught on the base end 122 of the cover member 100 by reducing the width of the base end 122 of the cover member 100. As a result, the layout display unit 600 of the hemostatic device 10 can improve usability for the surgeon and also improve usability for the patient.

[0157] FIG. 16 shows a simplified view of the hemostatic device 10 as seen from the direction of arrow 16A in the state shown in FIG. 14, in which the hemostatic device 10 is attached to the patient's right hand H1.

[0158] In the hemostatic device 10, the first band portion 410 is configured with a color that is more opaque than the main body portion 110 of the cover member 100. When the first band portion 410 is configured in this manner, the second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 extending from the main body portion 110 can be configured with transparency. When the second band portion 420 and the third band portion 430 are configured with transparency, the first puncture site p1 can be viewed through the band portions 420 and 430 when viewed from the side (the side where the band portions 420 and 430 are wrapped) as shown in FIG. 16 . This makes it easy to align the hemostatic device 10 with the first puncture site p1 when wearing it on the patient's right hand H1. Furthermore, when the hemostatic device 10 is attached to the patient's right hand H1, the state of the expansion member 210 can be checked through each band portion 420, 430, making it easy to check whether each band portion 420, 430 is being excessively tightened around the right hand H1.

[0159] It appears that the hemostatic device may have the layout display unit 600 arranged on the main body 110 of the cover member 100, for example. However, if the layout display unit 600 is arranged on the main body 110 of the cover member 100, it is conceivable that the layout display unit 600 will overlap with the expansion member 210 located on the main body 110 of the cover member 100. Therefore, if the layout display unit 600 is arranged on the main body 110 of the cover member 100, it is conceivable that it will be difficult to properly position the expansion member 210 at the first puncture site p1.

[0160] It is also possible to position the layout display unit 600 near the second end of the second band unit or the second end of the third band unit. However, if the layout display unit 600 is positioned near the second end of the second band unit or the second end of the third band unit, the layout display unit 600 may be positioned in a location that is not visible to the surgeon when these band units are wrapped around the right hand H1 (see FIGS. 11 and 13 ). In such a case, the surgeon would not be able to see the layout display unit 600 while wearing the hemostatic device 10. Furthermore, if the layout display unit 600 is positioned near the second end of the second band unit or the second end of the third band unit, the layout display unit 600 would be hidden by the surgeon's fingers while wrapping these band units around the outer periphery of the right hand H1. This makes it impossible for the surgeon to position the hemostatic device on the patient's right hand H1 while visually checking the layout display unit 600.

[0161] After expanding the expansion member 210, the surgeon removes the sheath tube 710 of the introducer 700 from the first puncture site p1 as shown in Fig. 13. The surgeon checks to ensure that there is no bleeding from the first puncture site p1 while using the hemostatic device 10 to stop bleeding. If there is bleeding from the first puncture site p1, the surgeon can adjust the amount of air injected into the expansion member 210.

[0162] By following the above procedure, the surgeon can use the hemostatic device 10 to stop bleeding at the first puncture site p1 formed in the patient's right hand H1.

[0163] Next, a second usage example will be described with reference to FIGS.

[0164] As shown in Figures 17 and 18 , the surgeon places the expansion member 210 and the support member 300 at the third puncture site p3 formed on the patient's left hand H2, similar to when the hemostatic device 10 is attached to the patient's right hand H1 in the first use example. When placing the hemostatic device 10 on the patient's left hand H2, the surgeon visually checks the layout display section 600. By visually checking the second graphic section 620, which shows an example of how the hemostatic device 10 should be placed on the left hand H2, the surgeon can easily determine whether the hemostatic device 10 is properly placed on the patient's left hand H2. As shown in Figure 19 , the surgeon can stop bleeding at the third puncture site p3 formed on the left hand H2 by expanding the expansion member 210 while the hemostatic device 10 is properly placed on the patient's left hand H2.

[0165] As described above, the hemostatic device 10 according to this embodiment is a hemostatic device 10 that can be placed on both the patient's right hand H1 and left hand H2 depending on the position of the puncture site p of the patient, and has a cover member 100 configured to cover the puncture site p, and a pressing member 200 connected to the cover member 100 and configured to compress the puncture site p. The cover member 100 has a main body portion 110 in which the pressing member 200 is located, a first band portion 410 configured to be placed between the patient's fingers and extending from the main body portion 110 in a first direction, and a second band portion 420 extending from the main body portion 110 in a second direction different from the first direction, with the pressing member 200 sandwiched between them. The device is provided with a third band portion (430) that faces the second band portion (420) and extends from the main body portion (110) in a third direction different from the first and second directions, and a layout display portion (600) that shows an example of the arrangement of the hemostatic device (10) on the patient's right hand (H1) and left hand (H2), the pressing member (200) and the layout display portion (600) being located on the center line (C) of the first band portion (410), the layout display portion (600) having a first graphic portion (610) that shows an example of the arrangement of the hemostatic device (10) on the patient's right hand (H1) and a second graphic portion (620) that shows an example of the arrangement of the hemostatic device (10) on the patient's left hand (H2), the first graphic portion (610) and the second graphic portion (620) being arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion (410).

[0166] The hemostatic device 10 configured as described above can be placed on both the patient's right hand H1 and left hand H2, allowing the surgeon to freely select whether to wear the hemostatic device on the patient's right hand H1 or left hand H2 depending on the puncture site p formed on the patient's hand H. This allows the surgeon to treat both the patient's right hand H1 and left hand H2 with a single hemostatic device 10, improving convenience during use. Furthermore, the first band portion 410 of the cover member 100 of the hemostatic device 10 is provided with a layout display portion 600 that shows an example of how the hemostatic device 10 may be placed on the patient's right hand H1 and left hand H2. The layout display portion 600 has a first graphic portion 610 that shows an example of how the hemostatic device 10 may be placed on the patient's right hand H1 and left hand H2. When attaching the hemostatic device 10 to the patient's hand H, the surgeon can visually check the first graphic portion 610 and the second graphic portion 620 on the first band portion 410 to easily determine whether the pressing member 200 and each of the band portions 410, 420, 430 included in the hemostatic device 10 are appropriately positioned on the hand H. Furthermore, because the first graphic portion 610 and the second graphic portion 620 are located on the center line C of the first band portion 410 and are arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410, the graphic portions 610, 620 can be provided so as to be conspicuous over a relatively wide range in the width direction of the first band portion 410, which is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. Furthermore, because the first and second graphic portions 610 and 620 are located on the center line C of the first band portion 410 and are arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410 as described above, even if the first band portion 410 is twisted when the surgeon attaches the hemostatic device 10 to the patient's hand H, the first and second graphic portions 610 and 620 can be prevented from being entirely hidden outside the surgeon's field of vision. Therefore, even if the first band portion 410 is twisted as described above, the surgeon can easily and appropriately attach the hemostatic device 10 to the patient's hand H in accordance with the content displayed on the layout display portion 600.

[0167] In addition, in the above-mentioned hemostatic device 10, the first band portion 410 has a first end portion 411 connected to the main body portion 110, a second end portion 412 located on the opposite side of the first end portion 411, and an intermediate portion 413 extending between the first end portion 411 and the second end portion 412, and the layout display portion 600 is located on the first end portion 411 side of the intermediate portion 413 of the first band portion 410.

[0168] As described above, in the hemostatic device 10, the layout display unit 600 is located on the first end 411 side of the intermediate portion 413 of the first band portion 410. Therefore, when placing the first band portion 410 in the interfinger portion fb, the surgeon can prevent the layout display unit 600 from being covered by the surgeon's fingers even when the surgeon grasps the second end 412 of the first band portion 410, which is located on the surgeon's side, with his or her fingers. Therefore, the surgeon can properly place the hemostatic device 10 on the patient's right hand H1 according to the content displayed on the layout display unit 600.

[0169] Furthermore, in the hemostatic device 10 described above, the first band portion 410 is configured to be more opaque than the main body portion 110 , and at least a portion of the layout display portion 600 is configured in a color different from the color of the first band portion 410 .

[0170] As described above, in the hemostatic device 10, the first band portion 410 is made of a more opaque material than the main body portion 110, and the layout display portion 600 is made of a different color from the first band portion 410. This makes it easier for the surgeon to recognize the first band portion 410 when visually inspecting it. Furthermore, by visually inspecting the layout display portion 600, which is made of a different color from the first band portion 410, the surgeon can easily recognize the graphic portions 610, 620 arranged on the first band portion 410.

[0171] In addition, in the hemostatic device 10, the first band portion 410 has an inner surface 410a on the side where the pressing member 200 is located and an outer surface 410b located on the opposite side to the inner surface 410a, and the layout display portion 600 is arranged only on the outer surface 410b.

[0172] As described above, in the hemostatic device 10, the layout display unit 600 is disposed only on the outer surface 410b of the first band 410. Therefore, when the surgeon visually checks the layout display unit 600, the surgeon can confirm that the layout display unit 600 is clearly displayed on the first band 410, and can easily determine whether the outer surface 410b and the inner surface 410a of the first band 410 (the outer surface 110b and the inner surface 110a of the main body 110 of the cover member 100) are erroneously disposed in reverse (inside out).

[0173] Furthermore, in the hemostatic device 10, the pressing member 200 is configured in an elliptical shape with its major axis in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410, and the first graphic portion 610 includes the positions of the pressing member 200 and the layout display portion 600 when the hemostatic device 10 is placed in the right hand H1, and the second graphic portion 620 includes the positions of the pressing member 200 and the layout display portion 600 when the hemostatic device 10 is placed in the left hand H2.

[0174] As described above, in the hemostatic device 10, the first graphic portion 610 includes the positions of the expansion member 210 and the layout display portion 600 when the hemostatic device 10 is placed on the right hand H1, and the second graphic portion 620 includes the positions of the expansion member 210 and the layout display portion 600 when the hemostatic device 10 is placed on the left hand H2. Therefore, when placing the first band portion 410 in the interdigital portion fb, the surgeon can easily determine whether the hemostatic device 10 is placed in the appropriate direction and posture by checking the placement state of the hemostatic device 10 according to the content indicated by the first graphic portion 610 and the content indicated by the second graphic portion 620 of the layout display portion 600.

[0175] In addition, in the hemostatic device 10, the pressing member 200 has an expansion member 210 that can be expanded by injecting a fluid, and the expansion member 210 is connected to an injection member 281 for injecting fluid into the expansion member 210 via a tube member 283, the first band portion 410 has a slit portion 415 extending in the longitudinal direction of the first band portion 410, and the tube member 283 is inserted through the slit portion 415 from the inner surface 410a side of the first band portion 410 toward the outer surface 410b side of the first band portion 410, and the layout display portion 600 is located closer to the second end 412 of the first band portion 410 than the end 415a of the slit portion 415, which is located closer to the first end 411 of the first band portion 410.

[0176] As described above, in the hemostatic device 10, the tube member 283 is inserted through the slit 415 from the inner surface 410a of the first band 410 toward the outer surface 410b of the first band 410. Furthermore, when the hemostatic device 10 is attached to the patient's right hand H1, the tube member 283 is inserted through the slit 415 and a portion of the tube member 283 is pulled out toward the outer surface 410b of the first band 410, thereby preventing the tube member 283 from being pressed against the patient's right hand H1 by the first band 410 positioned in the interdigital region fb. This prevents the patient from feeling uncomfortable when the tube member 283 is pressed against the patient's right hand H1 by the first band portion 410. Furthermore, the layout display portion 600 is located closer to the second end 412 of the first band portion 410 than the end 415a of the slit portion 415, which is located closer to the first end 411 of the first band portion 410. Therefore, when the surgeon attaches the hemostatic device 10 to the patient's right hand H1, the slit portion 415 prevents the tube member 283 from inadvertently moving, and also prevents the tube member 283 from covering part of the layout display portion 600. This improves operability when the surgeon handles the hemostatic device 10.

[0177] The hemostatic device 10 also has a support member 300 arranged on the cover member 100 so as to cover the pressing member 200, and the main body portion 110 has a two-layer structure including a holding portion 130 that holds the support member 300, and the holding portion 130 has an upper surface region 131 located on the upper surface 300b side of the support member 300, a lower surface region 132 located on the lower surface 300a side of the support member 300 and facing the upper surface region 131 across the support member 300, and a curved region 133 that connects the upper surface region 131 and the lower surface region 132 on the base end side of the support member 300, and the first band portion 410 is connected to the main body portion 110 at a position facing the curved region 133 across the support member 300.

[0178] As described above, in the hemostatic device 10, the first band portion 410 is connected to the main body portion 110 at a position facing the curved region 133 with the support member 300 sandwiched between them. Therefore, when the surgeon wraps the first band portion 410 around the interdigital portion fb, the surgeon can visually check the layout display portion 600 and confirm the positional relationship between the expansion member 210 and the support member 300. This allows the surgeon to properly position the hemostatic device 10 on the patient's right hand H1 while aligning the expansion member 210 and the support member 300 with the first puncture site p1.

[0179] Furthermore, in the hemostatic device 10, the curved region 133 is formed by folding back a portion of the main body portion 110 toward the first band portion 410, and the lower surface region 132 has a constricted portion 132a formed on the curved region 133 side, and the constricted portion 132a is configured so that the width of the lower surface region 132 becomes smaller from the first band portion 410 side toward the curved region 133 side.

[0180] As described above, in the hemostatic device 10, a constricted portion 132a is formed in the lower surface region 132 of the holding portion 130 of the main body 110. The constricted portion 132a is configured so that the width of the lower surface region 132 decreases from the first band portion 410 side toward the curved region 133 side. Therefore, when the hemostatic device 10 is worn on the right hand H1, the constricted portion 132a located in the lower surface region 132 of the cover member 100 prevents the deformation of the upper surface region 131 from being inhibited by the lower surface region 132, and the upper surface region 131 can be deformed to fit along the support member 300.

[0181] The hemostatic device according to the present invention has been described above through embodiments, but the present invention is not limited to the content described in the specification and can be modified as appropriate based on the description of the claims.

[0182] The specific shapes (planar shapes and cross-sectional shapes) of the expansion member and the support member are not limited to the shapes shown in the drawings in the embodiment.

[0183] The pressing member that applies a compressive force to the puncture site is not limited to an expansion member (balloon). The pressing member can be made of, for example, a resin material such as plastic that is capable of applying a compressive force to the puncture site, a member made of gel, an elastic material such as a sponge-like substance, an aggregate of fibers such as cotton, metal, a member with a predetermined three-dimensional shape (such as a sphere, ellipsoid, or triangular pyramid), or an appropriate combination of these.

[0184] This application is based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2023-137825, filed on August 28, 2023, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
