Abstract
Description
Twist method for steel structures using jigs and twisted steel structures using the same
[0001] The present invention relates to a twisting method for a steel structure, and more specifically, to a method for twisting a prefabricated steel structure using a jig, and a twisted steel structure using the same.
[0002] As architectural design trends have rapidly shifted from conventional structures to structures with free-form, atypical forms, these structures are increasingly being adopted for iconic landmarks like city halls, museums, and stadiums. To construct these atypical structures, steel frames, such as metal square pipes and C-beams, must be shaped into irregular shapes.
[0003] In particular, to achieve natural curves, such as the façade of the Busan Opera House, a method of twisting the entire steel frame in a spiral is necessary. Conventional techniques have been problematic, with the cross-section of the steel frame deforming or even destroying the steel frame itself during the twisting process. Furthermore, while previous methods involved twisting the steel frames separately and then joining them, the varying twist angles of each frame made joining difficult. Furthermore, the lack of devices or equipment capable of consistently twisting the steel frame under uniform conditions has made mass production of twisted steel structures impossible.
[0004] Therefore, there is a need for a twist method that can be mass-produced under certain conditions without damaging the steel frame.
[0005] An embodiment of the present invention is designed to solve the above-described problems, and provides a twisting method for a steel structure using a jig capable of twisting a steel frame without damaging the cross-section of the steel frame or the steel frame itself.
[0006] In addition, a twisting method of a steel structure using a jig is provided so that the twisted steel structure has a continuous twist angle.
[0007] In addition, a twisting method for steel structures using a jig capable of mass-producing twisted steel structures is provided.
[0008] An embodiment of the present invention aims to solve the above-described problem by providing a method for twisting a steel structure using a jig, including: a first step of providing a pre-assembled steel structure; a second step of mounting the steel structure using a plurality of jigs; a third step of pressing the upper surface of the steel structure so that the lower surface and both side surfaces of the steel structure are in close contact with the fixing grooves of the jig; and a fourth step of pressing the jig so that the lower surface of the jig is horizontal to the ground, thereby twisting the steel structure.
[0009] In addition, it is preferable that the jig include a fixing part in which the bottom surface and the inner surface of the fixing groove are formed at right angles to each other; and a support part coupled to the lower end of the fixing part so that the fixing part is perpendicular to the ground.
[0010] It is preferable that the width of the above-mentioned fixed groove be the same as the width of the above-mentioned steel structure.
[0011] The above jig is placed spaced apart in the extension direction of the steel structure, and it is preferable that the angle formed by the bottom surface of the fixing groove and the ground is set differently depending on the position where the jig is placed.
[0012] In the third step, it is preferable that the position of the jig is not constrained in the height direction.
[0013] The steel structure is preferably formed by perpendicularly assembling a pair of first assembly plates on which assembly keys are formed protruding at regular intervals along the extension direction of the steel structure on both sides; and a pair of second assembly plates on which keyways for engaging with the assembly keys are formed on both sides.
[0014] The present invention aims to provide a twisted steel structure in which the twist angle continuously changes along the extension direction from one end to the other by a twisting method of a steel structure using a jig.
[0015] As discussed above, the problem-solving means of the present invention can be expected to produce various effects, including the following. However, the present invention is not established unless it exhibits all of the following effects.

[0031] Hereinafter, specific embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
[0032] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a steel structure (100) twisted using a jig (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a drawing comparing the shape of the steel structure (100) of FIG. 1 before and after twisting according to the present invention. The present invention can form a spiral steel structure (100) by twisting both ends of the steel structure (100). To this end, the present invention can include steps 1 to 4.
[0033] The first step is to provide a prefabricated steel structure (100). In one embodiment, the steel structure (100) may extend in a curved manner in one direction. In another embodiment, the steel structure (100) may extend in a straight line.
[0034] FIG. 3 is a drawing showing a pre-assembled structure of a steel structure (100) of FIG. 1. Referring to FIG. 3, the steel structure (100) may include a pair of first assembly plates (110), a pair of second assembly plates (120), a reinforcing plate (130), etc. In one embodiment, the steel structure (100) may be formed by pre-assembling the first assembly plates (110) and the second assembly plates (120) perpendicular to each other. At this time, the steel structure (100) may be pre-assembled to have a hollow rectangular cross-section from one end to the other. In the first step, it is preferable that the steel structure (100) is not welded (non-welded).
[0035] A pair of first assembly plates (110) are arranged opposite each other and extend from one end to the other. In one embodiment, on both sides of the first assembly plate (110), a pre-assembly key (111) may be formed to protrude at regular intervals along the extension direction of the steel structure (100). At this time, it is preferable that the height of the pre-assembly key (111) is equal to or smaller than the thickness of the second assembly plate (120).
[0036] Meanwhile, a keyway (121) for receiving a pre-assembly key (111) may be formed on both sides of the second assembly plate (120). At this time, the keyway (121) may be formed in a shape corresponding to the shape of the pre-assembly key (111). The pre-assembly key (111) is inserted into and received in the keyway (121). It is preferable that the keyway (121) be formed larger than the pre-assembly key (111) so that a microscopic movement due to slip is possible between the first assembly plate (110) and the second assembly plate (120) during the process of twisting the steel structure (100).
[0037] In one embodiment, a reinforcing plate (130) is installed inside a steel structure (100). The reinforcing plates (130) may be installed at regular intervals along the extension direction of the steel structure (100). In one embodiment, the reinforcing plate (130) may be coupled to a first assembly plate (110) and / or a second assembly plate (120). In addition, a side surface of the reinforcing plate (130) may be in contact with the first assembly plate (110) and / or the second assembly plate (120).
[0038] In one embodiment, an external force distribution hole (131) may be formed at the center of the reinforcing plate (130) to distribute an external force applied to the steel structure (100). The reinforcing plate (130) may prevent deformation or damage of the steel structure (100) through the external force distribution hole (131). In addition, the reinforcing plate (130) allows the longitudinal cross-section of the steel structure (100) to remain the same as its original shape even after the twisting process. Meanwhile, in one embodiment, the external force distribution hole (131) is preferably formed in a circular shape.
[0039] In the second step, a plurality of jigs (200) are used to mount the steel structure (100). In one embodiment, the jigs (200) may be spaced apart from each other in the extension direction of the steel structure (100). Specifically, the jigs (200) may be positioned so as to mount and fix one end (a-a'), the middle (b-b'), the other end (c-c'), etc. of the steel structure (100). For this purpose, it is preferable that the number of jigs (200) is at least three or more.
[0040] Fig. 4 is a perspective view showing the structure of the jig (200) of Fig. 1. Referring to Fig. 4, the jig (200) may include a fixing portion (210), a bracket portion (200), a support portion (230), a connecting portion (240), etc.
[0041] The jig (200) may include at least one fixing member (210). In particular, the jig (200) placed at one end or the other end of the steel structure (100) may include at least two fixing members (210). At this time, the fixing members (210) are formed in a plate shape and may be placed perpendicular to the extension direction of the steel structure (100).
[0042] In one embodiment, a fixing groove (211) may be formed in the fixing member (210) to contact the outer surface of the steel structure (100) and fix the steel structure (100). At this time, the angle formed by the bottom surface and the inner surface of the fixing groove (211) may be the same as the angle formed by the lower surface and the side surface of the steel structure (100). In one embodiment, it is preferable that the angle formed by the bottom surface and the inner surface of the fixing groove (211) is a right angle.
[0043] FIG. 5 is a drawing sequentially showing a process in which the steel structure (100) of FIG. 1 is twisted by a jig (200). In particular, FIG. 5 shows a process in which the steel structure (100) is twisted by a jig (200) at one end (a-a'), the middle (b-b'), and the other end (c-c') of FIG. 1. Referring to FIG. 5(a), the fixing member (210) allows the steel structure (100) to be seated on the upper portion of the fixing groove (211). To this end, a guide slope for guiding the steel structure (100) may be formed on the fixing member (210).
[0044] The steel structure (100) may be mounted on a guide slope. In one embodiment, the guide slope may include a first guide slope (212) and a second guide slope (213). The first guide slope (212) is an inclined surface that connects an inner surface of a fixing groove (211) and an upper surface of a fixing portion (210). On the other hand, the second guide slope (213) is an inclined surface that connects the remaining inner surface of the fixing groove (211) and an upper surface of the fixing portion (210). Here, the inclinations of the first guide slope (212) and the second guide slope (213) with respect to the ground may be set differently. Meanwhile, the inclinations of the first guide slope (212) and the second guide slope (213) with respect to the ground may be set differently depending on the position of the fixing groove (211).
[0045] The third step is to pressurize the upper surface of the steel structure (100) so that the lower surface and both sides of the steel structure (100) are in close contact with the fixing groove (211) of the jig (200). At this time, the steel structure (100) can be pressurized using a hydraulic device. Referring to Fig. 5(a), the pressurized position of the steel structure (100) can be set differently depending on the angle of the bottom surface of the fixing groove (211).
[0046] In one embodiment, the angle formed between the bottom surface of the fixed groove (211) and the ground may be set differently depending on the position where the jig (200) is placed. FIG. 6 is a drawing showing one side of the jig (200) at each position of FIG. 1. FIG. 6(a) and FIG. 6(c) are cross-sections of the jig (200) at one end (a-a') and the other end (c-c') of FIG. 1, and FIG. 6(b) is a cross-section of the jig (200) at the middle (b-b') point of FIG. 1.
[0047] Referring to Fig. 6, the bottom surface of the fixed groove (211) at the middle point (b-b') of the steel structure (100) may be parallel to the ground. Meanwhile, the angle formed between the bottom surface of the fixed groove (211) and the ground may increase from the middle point (b-b') of the steel structure (100) toward one end (a-a') and / or the other end (c-c'). At this time, in the case of jigs (200) arranged at both ends, the angle formed between the bottom surface of the fixed groove (211) and the ground is equal to the maximum angle at which the steel structure (100) can be twisted.
[0048] Meanwhile, the fixed groove (211) may be formed in the same shape as the longitudinal cross-section of the steel structure (100). In one embodiment, the fixed groove (211) may be formed in the shape of a square groove. In this case, it is preferable that the width of the fixed groove (211) is the same as the width of the steel structure (100).
[0049] In the third step, the steel structure (100) is gradually pressurized for a preset period of time to minimize deformation due to the pressurization. At this time, the steel structure (100) can slide inward along the guide slope while being pressurized.
[0050] At this time, the position of the jig (200) is not particularly restricted in the height direction. Therefore, as the steel structure (100) is in close contact with the fixing groove (211), the support portion (230) of the jig (200) can be lifted. For example, one side of the jig (200) can be lifted at one end (a-a') and the other end (c-c') as shown in Fig. 5(b). At this time, it is preferable that the lower surface of the steel structure (100) is parallel to the ground.
[0051] In the third step, the bracket part (200) can prevent the fixing groove (211) from spreading to both sides. In one embodiment, the bracket part (200) can be coupled to the upper end of the fixing part (210) when the installation of the steel structure (100) is completed. At this time, the bracket part (200) has a plate shape, and coupling holes are formed on both sides of the bracket part (200). Specifically, the bracket part (200) can be fastened through the coupling holes to the upper end of the fixing part (210) separated based on the fixing groove (211). In addition, the bracket part (200) can maintain the gap between the fixing parts (210) when two fixing parts (210) are arranged on one jig (200).
[0052] The support member (230) is formed in a plate shape and can be coupled to the lower end of the fixing member (210) so that the fixing member (210) is perpendicular to the ground. At this time, the support member (230) and the fixing member (210) can be coupled by a connecting member (240). In one embodiment, a cross groove can be formed at the upper end of the connecting member (240) to intersect with the assembly groove formed in the fixing member (210) and be coupled. Meanwhile, an insertion groove is formed at the lower end of the connecting member (240) so that it can be coupled with a part of the support member (230).
[0053] In the fourth step, the jig (200) is pressed so that the lower surface of the jig (200) is horizontal, thereby twisting the steel structure (100). Referring to Fig. 6(b), the lifted side of the support member (230) is pressed. At this time, the jig (200) can be pressed using a hydraulic device. The support member (230) is gradually pressed so that it becomes horizontal to the ground or can be in contact with the ground, as shown in Fig. 6(c). At this time, the jig (200) is restrained so as not to move forward, backward, or left and right.
[0054] As the support member (230) descends, the steel structure (100) fixed to the fixing groove (211) is twisted. At this time, the steel structure (100) can be twisted toward the side to which the jig (200) that fixes the steel structure (100) is pressed. For example, in Fig. 5(b), at one end (a-a'), the upper right surface of the support member (230) is pressed. As the support member (230) is pressed, the steel structure (100) at the corresponding point can be twisted in a clockwise direction. On the other hand, at the other end (c-c'), the upper left surface of the support member (230) is pressed. At this time, the steel structure (100) at the corresponding point can be twisted in a counterclockwise direction.
[0055] Meanwhile, in the fourth step, the support (230) at the middle (b-b') point is not pressurized. In one embodiment, it is preferable that the support (230) at the b-b' point be fixed to the ground so that both ends of the steel structure (100) can be twisted.
[0056] In the fourth step, the pre-assembly key (111) can be slightly slipped within the keyway (121) as the steel structure (100) is twisted. Through this pre-assembly structure, flexibility can be provided to the steel structure (100). This allows the steel structure (100) to be easily twisted, thereby preventing the jig (200) from being damaged by the steel structure (100) or the resistance of the steel structure (100) during the twisting process.
[0057] As a result, the steel structure (100) can be gradually twisted in the direction of applying pressure to the support member (230), and can have a spiral structure that is continuously twisted from one end to the other. At this time, any one longitudinal cross-section of the twisted steel structure (100) always has the same hollow rectangular cross-section.
[0058] Referring to Fig. 2, the steel structure (100) after the twisting process has a twist angle that continuously changes along the extension direction from one end to the other. Through this, a natural curved surface of the steel structure (100) can be realized.
[0059] When the fourth step is completed, a portion of the portion where the first assembly plate (110) and the second assembly plate (120) are joined is tack-welded so that the steel structure (100) can maintain its twisted shape even after the jig (200) is removed. Then, when the jig (200) is removed, the steel structure (100) undergoes a main welding process using a laser. At this time, it is preferable that the main welding is performed on the portion where the first assembly plate (110) and the second assembly plate (120) are joined.
[0060] FIG. 7 is a schematic diagram of a twisted steel structure (100s) according to one embodiment of the present invention. In one embodiment, the twisted steel structure (100s) may extend in a curved manner in one direction. In another embodiment, the twisted steel structure (100s) may extend in a straight line.
[0061] Fig. 8 is a cross-sectional view at each point of the twisted steel structure (100s) of Fig. 7. Specifically, Fig. 8(a) is a cross-sectional view at one end (a-a') of the twisted steel structure (100s), Fig. 8(b) is a cross-sectional view at the middle (b-b') point, and Fig. 8(c) is a cross-sectional view at the other end (c-c') point.
[0062] Referring to Fig. 8, one longitudinal cross-section of the twisted steel structure (100s) is always maintained as a square. In one embodiment, it is preferable that the longitudinal cross-section of the twisted steel structure (100s) be a hollow rectangular cross-section.
[0063] Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described above by way of example, the scope of the present invention is not limited to these specific embodiments, and may be appropriately modified within the scope described in the claims.
